Sorry about the lack of reaction last chapter guys. Just to clarify, Fruitloop, A.K.A. Vlad, will not be appearing in this story, he will only be referenced as 'fruitloop'. Again, sorry for the lack of reaction on Danny's part.

Flying out of the Staff room, Danny heaved a sigh and smiled at the other ghosts as they saw the teacher with the greasy-haired teacher also come out of the room and stalk off down the hallway, disappearing through a hidden archway. Looking at the others, Danny saw that they too were watching him, The Baron clearing his throat and hurrying after the man.
"Severus Snape. The Potions Master at Hogwarts." Nick said, shaking his head and smiling, adding, "Do you want to go to the bathroom and change, Phantom? You look like you're about to change back."
"Thanks Nick." Danny said, grateful for the suggestion as they flew off in the direction of a bathroom, Nick seeing three students as they passed by below. One of them looked like his human form, except with glasses and bright green eyes. On his forehead there lay a lightening bolt-shaped scar as the boy looked their wasy and nudge his friends, and came over. Quickly telling him to turn invisible, Nick smiled and greeted them enthusiastically, floating down to their level.
"Hey, Nick." The girl said, looking up and seeing the other three and asking, "Who's the other ghost?" causing them to look at Danny who shrugged and smiled as Nick rolled his eyes and returned his attention on the girl and answer, "He's visiting from out of town, miss Granger."
"Right. Erm... Peeves was at it again, Nick. He needs to be sorted out again." The raven-haired boy said, looking at the ghosts as they looked at Danny again, who shuffled his feet and kept an eye out for the poltergiest.
"I wouldn't worry about that, Harry." The Fat Friar said, looking at him, "We have someone in mind."
And with that, Nick said his goodbyes and floated back up to the others and left, Danny looking at Harry once more and flying after them, leaving three confused students standing in the hallway.

HARRY
Harry looked at Hermione and Ron as the white-haired ghost boy left. He hadnt really said anything, rather the other three had looked at him, as if they were being wary of his reaction, that being the shrugging and the shuffling of the feet as if he were nervous or being impatient. In fact, he couldn't shake the feeling that he had seen the ghost somewhere before. And by the looks of things, so had Hermione.
"Harry. You coming, mate?" Ron called back, shaking Harry out of his thoughts. Looking around, he saw the Ron and Hermione had walked halfway to the Great Hall and were waiting for him to catch up to them.
"Hermione, do you feel like you should know that ghost who was with Nick and the others?" He asked as soon as he had caught up to them and they were headed up to the Gryffindor Tower. Looking around, she nodded and said, "Yeah. And I cant shake that feeling like I've seen him."
"Yeah, the same for me as well, 'Mione. What about you, Ron?" Harry replied, turning to Ron as he asked the question. Ron looked at them and shook his head, face looking confused as they turned into a secret passage that would take them upto the seventh floor, where their Tower was.
"Sorry, mate. I've never seen him before now." Ron said, shaking his head and folding the tapestry back, to find that Peeves was hiding there and muttering in some kind of language as he pulled up the carpet, to trip up any student that happened to pass that way.
"Er... Lets go the long way around guys." Ron said, letting the tapestry fall back into place and stepping back, "Or better yet, lets go and find the Baron and get him to sort Peeves out."
"-niel! You have no idea where you are." A voice shouted down the hall, as the white-haired ghost came upto them, this time on the floor and walking bruskly, as if he could hear something. Behind him was Nearly Headless Nick and The Fat Friar floating and looking fustrated at the boy.
"Look, Nick. You guys called me here and I came. Let me find him and then I can get back home and make up some story to my parents as to why I didn't go camping with the others." the floored ghost said in an american accent, turning around, looking at the two floating ghosts who blanched a little, and crossed his arms. Neither of the ghosts had noticed that the trio were right behind the floored ghost, in front of the tapestry, and staring at what he was doing. They saw that he looked around their age and was wearing some kind of black skintight jumpsuit, the collar, belt, gloves and boots were pure white and surprisingly, he radiated protection and trust. His snow white hair fluttered about his face and looked windswept.
"You have just arrived here from America, you have to at least rest and get your bearings. And strength." Nick said, crossing his arms and staring down at the teenage ghost, who sighed and floating up, replied, "I'm not going to change back just because it's the middle of the day at home, Nick. I've spent a few days last summer where I had to at least change once and stay that way."
"Come on. The display you showed with the teachers and again, in the Gryffindor Commonroom, suggested different." Fat Friar said, floating forward and making the floored ghost look at him and slump, defeatedly, and fly away with them, muttering under his breathe as they all went back the way they had come.
"What the bloody hell was that all about?" Ron said, saying the very thing that was on their minds. Looking at him, Harry shrugged and replied, "No idea, but he seemed impatient about something. And the Friar and Nick seemed to know who he was."
"Yeah, but how?" Hermione said, as they turned tail and went the longer route to the Dorms. Already they could feel her need to investigate further. And by investigate, they meant hit the books as soon as time was allowed. Harry caught Rons eye and smiled knowingly at this. It was just so Hermione to do this kind of thing, when in doubt, hit the books and wind her friends uo to the point where they were sick of it.
By that point, they had reached the Dorms and given the password to the painting of the Fat Lady, who, before she swung open, "You guys are late and there was a ruckus going on inside earlier."
"Why?" Harry asked, suspicion flaring up in his mind, "Umbridge hasnt found the Dorms, has she?"
The Fat Lady laughed and shook her head, saying as she opened the door, "Just be on the look out, OK?"
Thanking her and climbing through the opening, Harry looked at the Commonroom and waved Ginny over to their usual seat by the fire. As soon as the girl had come over to the fire, Ron asked, "What happened in here? The Fat Lady said that the place was just chaotic earlier."
"Peeves. Somehow, he's scared of that ghost who's been flying around today. Both of them came flying in, Peeves was screaming and trying to get away from the other ghost. Nick and the Friar were also flying behind him, trying to reign in the ghost chasing Peeves. They finally did just that and all three of them just floated out of the Commonroom, the white-haired ghost looking defeated and looking down as they went out." Ginny summarised, looking around at her friends and brother as they looked shocked at her. Harry was the first to recover as he said, "We saw both Peeves and the new ghost. Peeves was pulling up the carpets in the passageway that leads to the seventh floor. And the new ghost was actually walking on the ground as if he were going somewhere. The Friar and Nick were behind him, talking to him and trying to get him to rest or something. He seemed to think that he could change into something else, as he said, 'I'm not going to change back.' or something like that."
"He seems sure of that?" Ginny asked, eyes widening in astonishment, "That's impossible."
"Whats impossible?" a voice asked, startling all four Gryffindors with the accent. Looking behind them, they saw Dean Thomas behindt hem He was grinning as they stared, but the grin soon went as he realised they were staring at him. Biting his lip and snaking his arm up to scratch the back of his neck, he chuckled nervously as the door opened once more as McGonagall came through to the Commonroom, with what looked like another teenager, who looked just like Harry. Looking around she saw that everybody was present and correct. Clearing her throat, she caught everyone's attention and beckoned the teen to come forward, saying, "Now, we all know that Peeves has been a nuisance lately. Thankfully the ghost's know someone who might be able to help. This is Daniel, a ghost hunter who is one of the best in the country where he comes from and the assistant to the ghost who has come to help. He'll be staying with us while he's here. So please show him around and be kind as he gets used to our castle. Daniel, I'm certain that everyone here will show you around as your help will be appreciated."
"Thanks, Professor." Danie said, shuffling his feet and looking at the carpet. Harry looked at the others as they stared at the ghost hunter and said, "He is a ghost hunter?"
"Pffft." Ron spluttered, looking at the boy and turning his attention onto his friend as McGonagall left the Tower, "Whoever he is, he's too young to be doing this kind of job."
"You're right about that." Daniel said, coming up to them again, looking at ease as he looked for a place to sit. Ginny shifted up and allowed him to sit as he said, "It's really my parents that do the Hunting. But they're not really that good at the fieldwork, just the stuff they make are good. 'Sides they went to a Ghost Hunters symposium earlier this morning."
"Who exactly are your parents, Daniel?" Hermione asked, cocking her head and looking straight at him. Daniel shook his head and replied with, "Sorry. Not gonna happen. I'm only here to help the one the ghosts went to. By the way, dont insult him if you do see him around, kapeesh?"
"I wouldn't worry about that. It'll be the Slytherins he'll have to watch out for." Ginny said, smiling at him as he got up and stretched, muttering, "Stupid time difference... be camping."
Seeing that he was tired, Harry and his friends jumped up and offered to take him to where he would be staying. Smiling, Daniel nodded and got his backpack, which he had put on the floor by the portaithole and went up to the Dorms with the others.
Coming back down, Harry turned to his friends and saw the look on Rons face as they sat back down again. Sighing, Harry decided to worry about it in the morning and go out his Potions holiday homework and started on it as Hermione looked at the door to the boys dorms and muttered, "Who is Daniel and what do the ghosts know about the new ghost?"
"'Mione. Lets worry about it in the morning, OK?" Ron said, as he got out a book and started reading the passage they had been set in Charms that week.
