HARRY
Harry and Hermione found Ron near the Quidditch pitch with Neville and Luna and some others of the Dumbledore Army, an hour later. Going over to the group, they greeted them all as Seamus, a fellow Gryffindor Fifth-year, came over to them and asked, "Where's the hunter?"
"I'd've thought he would have been with you, Seamus." Hermione said, looking around and seeing that it was just the DA in the arena. Seamus shook his head and looked at Neville as he said, "Nick came up to me and Ron when we were about to give him the tour and said something in a completely different language. It must have been about Peeves as Danny swore and ran off with Nick and the Fat Friar. Don't know where they went though."
"We told him that we would wait at the pitch when he was finished." Ron piped up, looking at the pair as they nodded and Harry held his head. It didn't go unnoticed however, as Ron looked at him just as he raised his hand to rub his forehead.
"Is it your scar, Harry?" He asked, coming forwards and standing in front of his as Harry shook his head and replied, "My scars fine. It's my head that's hurting this time."
"It is just a theory, Harry. It'll be nothing and Danny could be like us." Hermione said, looking at him as he lowered his hand and nodded slightly as Ron looked at them both and raised an eyebrow in question as the others looked at the Trio in confusion.
"We think we know how Danny got here." Hermione said to Ron, "We were in the library, looking up ghosts and what they represented to our world. According to one book, there's a vast dimension known as The Ghost Zone, where ghosts live and reside. No one living has ever seen it though, and the ghosts that live there were ruled by a tyrant. We didn't get the name though, that page was torn out."
"Madam Pince will be going mad when she sees the damage. Books are her life." Hermione said, looking disgusted at the brutal treatment of one of the only books on ghosts.
"You were in the library all this time? And Harry was with you? Who are you and what have you done with my friends?" Ron said, backing away as Harry rolled his eyes, saying ""We're still us, Ron. We're not Death Eaters."
"Do I even have to ask?" A voice came from behind them, causing them all to turn and reveal Danny with his arms folded and looking calm yet amused, looking at them and obviously trying to hold laughter in. He had obviously been back to the Tower as he had strapped on a gun belt and holster, complete with futuristic-looking gun, and he also had some kind of ear phone poking out of his hair, which was still looking messy. All-in-all, he looked the part of teenage ghost hunter as he fiddled about and rubbed the back of his neck.
"You came to Hogwarts at a bad time. There's what we call a Dark Lord loose on the world." Hermione explained, going over to the muggle as his face contorted into a dark look, somewhat akin to anger. Stopping where she stood, she gulped slightly at the dangerous look in Danny's eyes and calmly retreated back to Harry and Ron' side as Danny took deep breathes as his eyes flashed a little. Harry caught this and looked at his friends. If they had seen anything odd, they didn't show it as Danny looked to the ground and at his hands which were scarred, now that Hermione looked properly.
"So, this Dark Lord guy. How bad is he?" Danny asked, closing his eyes and taking deep breathes and opening them to reveal icy blue irises again. Looking at Harry, the DA members pointed to him and Parvati said, "Harry lost his parents when he was only a year old. He survived the curse that was aimed at him and the wizard who was trying to kill him, lost his powers and body, it seems, until this past summer, when Harry was competing in a tournament, called the TriWizard Tournament, along with Cedric Diggory. Harry and Cedric had just completed the final Task when they disappeared for a few hours and then Harry came back, all hysterical and clutching Cedric Diggory's body. No one believes him though, even when he's had detentions with Umbridge."
"Cut him some slack, would you, Parvati? It's not been easy for Harry, what with Cedrics death, the Prophet dissing him and Dumbledore and the Minister saying that they're liars." Neville said, cutting in after seeing that Harry was looking downcast. Danny noticed this as well and nodded, holding up his hands and saying, "I think I got the picture."
"You have to see the proof for yourself to believe the stuff that the Minister's said about me." Harry said, quietly, looking at the American and saw him nod slightly. He seemed like he knew what it felt like to have bad press.
"So, what did Nick and the Friar want?" Ron asked, Danny looking at him and smirking slightly and replying, "Nothing much. They just wanted to show Phantom around. All the hotspots for Peeves' pranks and such."
"Speaking of, when are we going to actually see Phantom?" Hermione asked, Danny turning to her and grinning slightly and saying, "Like I said, you'll see him soon enough. He's shy some of the time. Just give him time to get used to the time difference. So, are we gonna get on with this mystery tour then?"
"Also, how did you find where the pitch was? And how did you get back into the Tower? You need a password for the Fat Lady to enter." Hermione, Ron and Harry asked, as they all nodded and turned to go back to the castle, Danny trailing behind them and saying, "I have my ways. I also had to ask one of the teachers. They told me to look for an arena with six poles on the pitch and then spouted something off about me having not long to live."
"Trelawney." All of them said at once, Harry adding, "She teaches Divination."
"And she does that to Harry all the time." Ron complained, "I really don't know why we started her classes to be honest."
"That's what I keep on telling you, but you never listen." Hermione sighed, looking behind her as Danny smirked, amused. Looking behind herself, she spotted him fiddling about with the gun and was checking it, holding it to the light and inspecting it.
"So, Danny." Harry began, looking for a good place to start a conversation with the American, who looked up from the gun and straight at him and waited, "Who exactly is Phantom? I feel like I should know his and your names, but I can't think where."
"No one in my hometown knows exactly who Danny Phantom was in life. He just showed up when my parent's Ghost Portal turned on. Didn't even know what his name was until he defeated the Ghost Zone's King when the moron invaded the city." Danny said, putting the gun back in the holster and crossing his arms and looking calmly at Harry as he added, "The fruitloop's name was Pariah and another ghost, my parents call the Wisconsin Ghost. That's probably why."
"You seem to know about this kind of thing." Luna commented, dreamy vice sounding vaguely serious as the other members of the DA looked at her as she looked at Danny, who stared right back and nodded, saying, "I'm a Fenton. What do you expect?"
"Oh," Luna answered, looking at him as if scrutinizing him, "Like John Fenton-Nightingale, the famous ghost hunter of the seventeenth century? He was the first one to discover the uses of the rare plant Blood Blossom, and what it caused for the ghost he once captured. Said ghost escaped when a companion ate the flowers and therefore freed the spirit, who then went on to free the second companion who had been tied to a stake, ready to be burned alive for witchcraft. All three of them fled Salem straight after."
"Luna?" Harry asked, "What are you talking about?"
However, Danny caught on quick and winced in what seemed like agony as he bit his lip and looked anywhere but the gathered wizards and witches as they listened to Luna. Only Harry noticed his reaction and furrowed his brow in question.
"You ok?" He asked the hunter, who looked at him and replied, "Sorry about that. John Fenton-Nightingale is my ancestor, but I never knew that. My mom and dad talk about how ghosts are these evil non-corporeal beings with only one thing on their mind. Destruction. If they only spoke to one of them, maybe even Phantom, then maybe they would see that there's a lot more to the spirits than they believe."
"You sound like it's hard to live in America." Harry said, watching as Danny put his hands on his pockets and nodded.
"It's embarrassing to say the least." Danny answered, flushing and looking away, smiling a little as a new voice spoke up from the distance and caused them all to look in that direction, Danny looking alert as the student's faces morphed into hate and distaste and Harry muttered, "Umbridge."
"The sickly pink toad?" Danny asked, looking at the wizarding student as he nodded and answered, "I take it that she knows that you're here."
"Meh, not really. She wasn't there when I got introduced to the teachers." Danny said, shrugging and smirking as he looked at the others as they looked to him as he shoved his hands into his pockets and walked with them back to the castle, just as a group came onto the stadium and looked around as if they were looking for something.

"So, Danny, you want to come with us tonight? We're just going to be practicing wh
at Harry taught us in the DA." Ron asked, looking at the hunter as Harry choked on a bit of chocolate and looking at his friend as he coughed. It was lunchtime and they were currently in the grounds and under a tree, Hermione with her nose in a book that she had got from the library, Harry and the other boys sharing a chocolate bar between them. Hermione looked up from and frowned at the redhead as he waited for the americans answer as said boy bit his lip and frowned in thought.
"Ron, he's not exactly used to us yet." Harry spluttered as Danny thumped him on the back and Hermione rolled her eyes and stuck her nose back in the book again, turning a page in it. Looking at Danny as he stopped coughing, Harry thought he saw a puff of blue coming from Danny's mouth as he perked up and looked around, swearing and muttering under his breathe.
"What's up?" He asked, looking sternly at the ghost as they stopped in midair and rubbed their arm, looking nervous. Looking closer, the three Gryffindors saw that the ghost was the ghost of Ravenclaw and she seemed to know who to go to.
"He is at it again, good sir Fenton." She said, Danny looking alert and nodding, turning to his hosts and hesitating before Harry said, "Go. We'll meet you at the Gryffindor table at dinner."
"Thanks Harry. I'll be as quick as Peeves allows." Danny shouted as he ran off with the ghost. As he went farther away, Harry and his friends thought they heard the american talking to the ghost.
"You think he'll be fine, Harry?" Hermione asked, looked at the ravenhaired wizard as he shrugged and said, "I'm sure he'll be peachy, 'Mione."
"No need to worry about him. The ghost's seem to know what they're doing." Ron clarified, stuffing a bit of chocolate into his mouth and lying onto the grass, sighing in relief. Seeing him do this, Hermione slammed her book shut and stood, looking at the boys and stormed off, huffing and stuffing the book back into her bag as she went back to the castle door.
"She really needs to sort out her priorties, does Hermione." Ron commented, watching her go, Harry staring at her reteating back and standing, telling his friend that he was following her and running after her.

DANNY
"What's he gone and done now, Helena?" Danny asked, switching into the ghost language as he ran and tried to find a corner to transform. Finding an alcove to do so, he ducked behind the armour standing erect and brought forth the rings and made the shift into Phantom and flew up, looking around as he did so and making sure that there were no muggleborns in the corridor as he followed the Ravenclaw ghost to the poltergiests location.
"He has caught Seamus Finnigan of Gryffindor House in a trick again." She said, flying through walls and looking back as Danny did the same, and swore under his breathe.
"Seamus. He's the one who was being hoisted by his underwear when we arrived here, isn't he?" the ghost of Amity Park said, wincing in sympathy as Helena nodded mutely and went flat on her stomach and flying faster, Danny keeping up easily as they went.
"I believe that the caretaker Filch is also going to the scene, so you had best be prepared for him and his cat, Mrs. Norris." she said slowing down and floating alongside him as he went into a 'standing' position and looked at her, eyebrows scrunched slightly in thought. Eventually he nodded and they went on their way to the scene, which is chaotic to say the least.
Seamus Finnigan was caught in a net and was looking grumpily at the aproaching ghosts as Peeves cackled and bounced around the net, blowing raspberries at the student as he struggled to get out. Other students were looking up at the poltergeist and some had even pulled out their wands, but hesitating to do anything that might cause the netted boy to fall to the floor. And sure enough, the caretaker, Filch, was at just coming around the corner as Danny and Helena flew up to Peeves and Seamus, Danny folding his arms and 'tapping' his foot as they waited for the pesky ghost to notice them.
Clearing his throat, Danny caught Peeves' attention and waved slightly as the poltergeist yelped and gulped, looking at the two ghost's in surprise and shock.
"Peevesy wasn't doing anything bad, sir Halfa." the little man said, standing upright and holding his hands together. Sighing, Danny looked to the boy in the net and raised an eyebrow, saying in the ghost language, "I highly doubt that, Peeves. But I didn't come all the way from Amity, just for easter vacation either. Now, could you let Seamus down or do you want to go into the Thermos?"
"Not the thermos, please." Peeves whined, holding his hands up and going to the knot at the top of the net and starting to untie it, an evil grin coming over him as he let go of the net and dropped it over the students and Danny, causing the Half-ghost onto the floor amongst the students and cackled, as Seamus was caught with a hastily cast spell from the students underneath the net. Scowling as everyone looked at him in wonder, he turned the net intangible and flew up and after the prankster, leaving the students staring after him in wonder as the other three of The Four came up to Helena in curiosity.

I am sooo sorry that I haven't updated in a while. Work Experience a good excuse for me to use?
Okay, I kinda lost my thread as I have started another story, but I got back on track, with a little help from audiomachine.
Guest 1: Thank you, I realy made my day with that.
Guest 2: The deal with the HPDPHPDP? It's a line break to section it all out. I apologize if I am being rude, but that's the score at the door with Wordpad I am afraid. Don't like it, then don't read it.
Guest 3: Not everyone is perfect. Again with you, I apologize if I'm being rude, but it's great that you told me this, and for that I salute you. And I got the joke. Sorry about the apostrophies, though.
Guest 3 again: I know that feel, bro. I get that all the time when I start a good fanfic, or book. Ugh. I also Pmsl'ed when I wrote it. Or was that the last chapter?
Anyway, I'm gonna get on with the rest of my stories.
Until next time,
Hermione Jean Burton xx
