He knew she was on medication
Sometimes, she'd forget them
And, thus, would be worse for wear
She didn't tell him too much about them
But he read enough from their labels
She was on three types
One was for her anxiety
The other one was for her depression
The third was for her sleep
(the last one is a new one)
He remembered the last time
The last time she forgot to take her medicine
And how worse off she seemed to be
She'd hate to put them through that again
She knew what happened
She was moodier, combative, panicky
Lashing verbally out in a rage
A far cry from her usual self
The upset from it kept her up at night
And the insomnia took its toll
Making things worse
He knew how upset she was
He called a meeting about the subject
Sitting her down, each telling her
That they knew she wasn't herself that day
And that it was her illnesses talking—not her
They'd forgive her for it
They're there for her and they'll move passed it
Her upset and guilt didn't go away
But it was eased a bit at the reassurance
Eventually, she may not need them
Or she may not need this high of a dosage
But, for now, she needed her medicine
Otherwise, she'd have worse episodes
Since then, they made a point
To remind her to take her medicine
If need be, as she's she's still healing
Her medicines being a part of her recovery
Notes:
Alluding to some of the canon with this one, as, according a magazine or light novel, Gamagoori's mom is works as a nurse, so it'd make sense for him to know what Satsuki's medicines would do and read up on them, even if he doesn't know too much about her mental health issues.
Yes, it's possible for someone with mental illnesses to get to a to a point where they don't need their medicines or, rather, could function on lower dosages, however, I wouldn't suggest one attempt this without your doctor's guidance.
