-GRYFFINDOR COMMON ROOM-

-HARRY-

"Harry, you ok mate?" Ron asked his friend as he leaned his forehead on his fist and sighed, looking down at his homework. Not even looking up, he nodded and said, "I'm fine, Ron. I'm just curious as to why Dumbledore would want to see Danny, that's all."

"Well, maybe he wants to know if he's finding the castle okay and if he's settling in okay." Seamus said, sitting down and glancing at him as Harry put his hand down on the table and nodded. Looking at the clock, Harry stood and said, "It's time we should be getting a move on and get to the DA meeting anyway. We can meet up with Danny and I can apologise to him for acting like I was."

"Best idea yet, Harry. Do the coins then we can go." Hermione said, standing up and going over to Ginny and whispering in her ear and moving with her to their dormitory and disappearing up the stairs as he got out a large golden coin out of his pocket and tapped it with his wand, feeling it warm up and then just as quickly go cold again. The signal had been sent and he, Ron and the rest of the Gryffindor members of the group Dumbledores Army could sneak out and meet up with the remainder of the group. Standing as Ron did the same, Harry noticed that their housemates were pulling out the golden coins, glancing at them and nodding, standing as well and going over to the portrait hole, Seamus walking over with his friend Dean Thomas. If any of the Gryffindors not in the small group noticed them standing at the entrance, they didn't mention it as they went on with their activities and said nothing.

Going up to the boys dorms, Harry went over to his desk and rustled through the many pieces of parchement strewn around on his small desk and eventually came up with a thivk looking wad of the same writing material and hurried back down stairs as he saw Hermione and Ginny coming from the girls dorms, jumpers on and Hermione's bushy hair tied back in a french braid and away from her face.

Nodding to him as she readied herself, Hermione positioned herself by Harry's side as Ron did the same and together they opened the door and heard Harry muttering, "I solemnly swear that I am up to no good."

Looking down at the parchment, Harry saw that no one was in the corridor ahead of them, no one except Phantom as he turned tail and went back the way he had come. Looking up from the map, Harry thought he saw a glimpse of the ghost's black jumpsuit before he disappeared around the corner and went down the next hallway. The dot with his name on it stopped about halfway down it and disappeared into a passage way as the rest of the group turned the corner.

"What the heck?" Ron asked, looking up from the map and looking at the corridor in front of tehm as they rounded the corner and the trio saw the empty hallway in front of them, Hermione also having looked at the map as well. Shrugging Harry looked back down and saw his dot in a passageway. And he wasnt alone either. Nearly Headless Nick and the Baron were with him also and they seemed to be stood talking. Huffing, Hermione went forwards toward the passage way and listened to them.

"I still don't see why I had to lie to them all, Nick." a voice stated, sonding annoyed and heavily accented. An American accent, she realised, someone was speaking with two of the ghost's. And by the sounds of it, he had lied to someone about something as Nick answered him in kind and said, "What would we rather have done, Daniel? Brought the Red Huntress here instead of you? Your fame is from defeating Pariah Dark and saving the Ghost Zone, not to mention the obvious fact of what you are."

"Don't remind me, Nick. I'm starting to think that maybe Peeves isn't the only one who needs to be sorted out here. You know who I'm referring to. She's a nightmare in pink." Phantom answered, something rustling as if he had folded his arms in exasperation. A pause followed and then the Baron stated, "We know that she is a handful, but there is a rumour that there is a curse on the Defence Against the Dark Arts teaching post. We only know this because all our problems obviously, but also because the one who was rumored to apply placed the curse upon the post itself. It won't be long until she is out of Hogwarts."

"Dude, Dumbles told me that already. I know all about Voldemort and his exploits into the dark stuff." Phantom was saying, a sigh following his statement as flash of bright light erupted from behind the passages covering and then disappeared as Hermione was blinking the stars from her eyes and Danny's voice said, "Besides, I doubt that this Fruitloop will be doing anything too soon, right."

"If only you knew the truth about him, Daniel." Nick sighed, his voice fading as if he were floating away from Danny and Phantom, wherever he had disappeared to. Hermione faltered as she heard Danny muttering, "It's Danny, Wizarding Ghost.", she looked to the side and saw that Harry and the rest of the Gryffindors were stood around and listening in as the entrance opened and Danny stepped through, looking annoyed at first until he saw the group and stopped dead in his tracks.

"Uh... how long have you been stood there?"
