All three wizards stared at the door long after Danny Fenton had left the room and had gone down the stairs, a worried look still on his face. Looking at the forgotten earphone, Harry heard Hermione saying, "… after him. He'll get lost in the dark."
"You don't know that, Hermione," Ron answered, putting his dressing gown on all the same and looking at Harry as he nodded, got out of bed, got his own, slightly too-big dressing gown on and followed his friends as Ron said, "Then again, he did do that weird thing with Harry just now. Guess you want to know what it was, huh."
"He just woke me up, guys," Harry piped up, catching up to them both as they reached the Entrance and made to go through it, stopped and looked back at him as he pushed the Fat Lady open and hopped out onto the cool floor. Hermione stopped as she heard the words coming from the Boy Who Lived and turned sharply and whisper-shouting, "He went inside your head, Harry, and you seem calm about that! How could you not be confused about that?"
"I never said that I'm not confused. Danny just seemed to want to help me wake up from that dream I had." Harry defended, staring Hermione in the eyes as she crossed her arms and answered, "You were thrashing about in your bed, Harry. Five minutes before you woke up, we tried to wake you, even Neville was shaking you when Danny's eyes flashed green and he disappeared into your head."
"I still want to know how he managed that." Ron commented, looking at the Raven as he squirmed and shuffled his feet as a chill ran down his spine and a fourth voice came out of nowhere and startled them as the person asked, "And what are three Fifth Year students doing out in the corridor at half one in the morning?"
Harry stiffened as the speaker walked tot he front of them and revealed themselves as Professor McGonagall, her lips slightly thin as she said, "These halls aren't safe for students. Especially in these dark times, Potter."
"We need to see the Headmaster, Professor." Harry blurted out, ducking under her guiding arm as she tried to usher them all back into the Gryffindor Tower, catching her off guard as she stopped and looked at him, a concerned look coming onto her face as she lowered her hands and waited as Harry hesitated but soon said, "Voldemort's in America, looking for Phantom. He was interrogating Danny's friends and asking where Phantom was. He wasn't giving up when I woke from being punched."
"You're sure that this happened in reality."
"Professor, I know what I saw and Danny tried to check, but I don't think he got an answer from this." Harry said, holding up the abandoned Fenton Phone and added, "He said something like 'Clueless one to Goth one.' but got no response, so he just ran out and I think he went to see if they were okay."
"And you suddenly know him so well, do you?" Hermione asked, shocking the only adult as Harry stared at his friends, crossed his arms and nodded, startling not only the two other thirds but also the teacher as she flashed a small smile and said, "A lot more than even his parents do."
"How? We've only known him for two days." Ron cut in, adding in his two cents before Hermione even opened her mouth to berate Harry. Cutting her short, Harry quickly added, "He's got a hero complex that possibly rivals mine, Hermione, and he's at odds with his parents because of their profession. They're Ghost Hunters in a city that's been infested with ghosts since their portal switched on."
"And how exactly did you know this, Mr. Potter?" McGonagall asked, an impressed eyebrow raised to her bedraggled hair as Harry answered, "He told me himself. He even confirmed that Phantom is a rare type of Ghost. A Halfa, Hermione."
"And you never thought to say?"
"He wanted to tell you two on his own terms and I was willing to wait for him before we spoke up. He was reluctant to talk when he told me, he even looked home-sick. I bet he hasn't set foot out of Amity Park for more than a week." Harry said, spying Danny, in Phantom form, flying away from them from the direction of the staircase, and looked down at the earphone again as static sounded quietly and a tinny voice said something garbled. Hermione and Ron heard this and looked at each other before Hermione whispered, "Impossible. That shouldn't be working anywhere near Hogwarts."
"And yet it is." Harry answered, putting the Fenton phone to his ear and heard an American voice comment, "I don't think he can hear us, Jazz. Danny, you there?"
"Who is it, Harry?" Hermione asked, Harry looking at her and shrugging before he asked, "Can I ask who this is?"
"I could ask the same question." the girl growled, sounding slightly worried as she added, "Is my friend there? His name's Danny Fenton."
"Erm… not at the moment. He just went down the hallway."
"Dammit. The Phones were on in Jazz's car on charge. We just saw that the call light was on. My name's Sam, by the way. Sam Manson."
"Harry Potter. I'm a student at Hogwarts School."
The girl named Sam was silent for some few minutes as she processed this, Professor McGonagall looking at her student sharply which he ignored in favour of waiting for Sam to answer what he had said.
"Right. Is Danny okay? And what about Phantom?"
"He's okay, but he ran off after I had a nightmare that somehow involved three people being tortured and he ran off after he didn't get a reply from someone he called 'Goth One'." Harry answered, gulping as silence reigned again and flinched as 'Sam' swore violently and started speaking to other people who were with her. A struggle sounded before another girl's voice, a little older than the first, came onto Sam's end and said, "Harry, correct? My name's Jazz Fenton, Danny's sister. Listen, Danny's very protective over his friends and family. If he ran off, he's probably gone to find a way to get back to Amity and see if we're okay. Give him the pair of phones back when you see him and are able to stop him from getting here. Do you have any idea where he might have gone. Sam told us that you were a student there."
"Not that I know of. Sorry." Harry replied, biting his lip as 'Jazz' too went silent and then, "He likes Astronomy. Obsessed with it, in fact. There anywhere he could go to see the stars?"

Erm… this a good place to leave it? Or am I going to have to duck more weapons?
Aaaand, Harry's been reassured by Team Phantom themselves that they're fine. Not exactly sure why I didn't include Tucker though.
Until next time…
