Naruto decided to wait for the dawn but he didn't stop the kids and he watched over them. He could see that Boruto was starting to change once again after hearing the heartfelt words from Iwabe and Denki.

He was aware that there were times that facts and such didn't affect people's action, it was emotions and the situation itself that could lead to a change.

Telling him might not have been the right option for Naruto because he was the source of the problem for him.

Boruto's perception would be highly biased when hearing things from Naruto and it would have ruined it for others as well.

Before taking any action, all things had to be taken into account. So, he was happy that things played out like he wanted.

The enemy was a threat but Naruto was using it to help the new generation in a way by keeping things under control.

It was not just in Konoha, as Naruto was watching over things in other places as well and letting the kids handle it on the ground. These battles were not good enough for the strong individuals and kids could handle them, only when the battle was in the middle of the city would the security forces intervene.

In this world where crime had almost disappeared, there wasn't anything for the warriors to fight against in the field. The system had to create missions for them.

There were monsters in the wild but these were only good enough to a certain level.

There were some slippery criminals but those weren't missions either.

In this era all these warriors were involved in other activities like professional sports, research and development.

They helped clear out dangerous monsters and searched areas for the enemies but the only action they got was training.

All these creative and extensive training programs had to be made to keep the people into shape and help them grow or the peace would deteriorate their conditions before the war even starts.

Unlike the old days there wasn't much action except the rare cases of violence by the people or bandit attacks in faraway lands.

It was close to the ideal world that Naruto wanted but it was necessary to put the people through violent activities to keep them strong and for that there were times he created situations for the people to solve.

Naruto created problems and let the people solve them. All of these were under control but gave false danger sensation to the people involved.

Letting the kids handle the small parts of the problem was moving along that train of thought.

Boruto and his team arrived at the department where Denki's father could be found. Being the son of the Hokage, Boruto had access to the location after getting cross checked by Denki's father for permission.

They met the man in his office that was filled with document s and such. It was a mess for anyone who didn't know what he was working on.

The man was responsible for the creation of the train and had managed to develop it to the level where it could fly.

His department worked together to introduce the cars and bikes, and everything that was further developed by them and other private companies.

They worked together with the weapon department to make vehicles for the military usage like Jets, Space crafts and Mechs.

Denki's father was aware of what had taken place and wasn't worried since his son was under the care of the Hokage. He wasn't aware of what the Hokage had planned and if the solution had been found, but the man had made some conclusions on his own.

Denki was his son, so he wasn't just going to sit quietly and do nothing. He knew about the shadow attacks but the one on his son was different.

He also went through the same conclusions and looked at videos to see where things went wrong.

"I understand you are here to ask me about Denki."

Boruto knew the man from before, they weren't close but he had met him many times for various reasons. Those interactions were enough to tell him that he wasn't some ignorant person.

The man might not have battle instincts and such but he was intelligent.

"Yes, could you tell us if you know anyone that touched Denki today on the neck?"

"I am unsure so I will let you watch the video and get a feel for it." The man had been unable to find what he needed. He wasn't a battle oriented person nor a detective type. The clues just didn't match up in his mind.

Boruto and the kids understood, and didn't think less of him since the guy was an adult, was at a high position and wasn't really a combatant.

They all focused on the video log for the day.

"Stop, I saw it." Boruto exclaimed loudly as he told them to stop. His eyes were sharpest among the group and his reaction was second to none.

They locked on to the part that Boruto asked and found the clip where Denki was sitting down and Sumire came to him with some drinks.

She touched him with the drink on his neck.

"It's just Sumire, there is no way she is responsible. Let's continue." Iwabe just shook his head as he saw the clip.

Shikadai stared at the screen and even he had a problem believing it could be Sumire, since the girl was very kind person and she had been in Konoha for many years now.

"We will note it down for now, and see the rest of the video. If we nothing else, then we will have to check on Sumire." Shikadai commented and Mitsuki agreed to his analysis.

Boruto was also shocked at the possibility, as Sumire was a friend and they had known each other for some time now. They weren't best of friends but they were friends. She was the nice girl at school. She was the smart and well-mannered girl.

She was someone that reminded Boruto of his mother in a sense, and he loved his Mother more than his father.

Sumire was a girl that was like the current Hinata and was very active person. Though, she hadn't been active in her pursuit for love and such since it was causing her a dilemma.

"Yeah." Boruto nodded as they continued. It something that Denki's father had also overlooked since Sumire was a nice girl that they knew. It just slipped his mind.

They checked everything multiple times but there was no other clue. There was only one and that was Sumire.

"Thank you sir, we will tell you if anything happens." Boruto said as the group left the office.

"Are we really going to question Sumire?" Iwabe asked as he felt weird about doing that to a friend.

"We got no choice and there is nothing wrong in checking her out. You don't need to speak and we will deal with it, indirectly. It won't hurt her, if she doesn't know." Boruto replied as he also felt wrong about doing this to a friend but the situation demanded it and she was the only clue now.

It would be unprofessional of them to ignore it because of personal feelings.

"I am not taking any blame, if anything goes wrong. We all blame it on Boruto."

"We all blame it on Iwabe, much better."

"That's not going to work, it will fall on Boruto." Shikadai commented as they ran though the night to Sumire's house.

"Oh, you are right." Boruto couldn't deny it. He was the leader of the group so everything will fall on him.

The location wasn't very far for the kids since they could move at extreme speeds and as they got nearer, Boruto saw something.

His eye felt itchy and burned a little as he saw shadows moving nearby, 'What just happened?'

It came and went so Boruto was unsure if it was real but still decided to be careful.

"You guys prepare to engage if anything goes wrong. I will bring her out of the house, we are not going in." Boruto said as they stopped outside the gate to the nice little house with two floors and a small lawn outside.

They all heard the seriousness in his tone and were confused by it but complied nonetheless. Boruto walked to the door and rang the intercom.

The camera locked onto him.

"Boruto?"

"Yes, it is Boruto. Sumire, I want to talk to you. Can you meet me outside?" Boruto heard her voice from the machine and knew that she could see him clearly.

Sumire didn't respond but the door opened up and she came out in a short time. She was wearing her casual clothes as she had changed from her pajamas for Boruto.

It was white dress that looked good on her and made her shine under the moon light.

Boruto felt guiltier about his actions after seeing her expression of trust and friendliness. Sumire hadn't even looked at the other guys and came out for him.

Her attention was focused on him and she felt kind of excited as Boruto had come to her. She felt it might be a confession but seeing him, it didn't feel like it and once again her mission came to mind so she curbed her excitement.

Sumire also noticed the guys on the side that waved at her.

"I am here. How can I help you?" Sumire asked as she looked at him. She was unsure why he was here now.

"Walk with me, are you aware of the shadow attacks?" Boruto started walking away from her house and she followed.

"Yes, it is problem that looks dangerous but I believe that our Hokage can deal with it."

"I also feel the same. Sumire, would you like to help us find the culprit? The Hokage has asked us to help him out, so I am offering you a place on my team."

Sumire felt happy at his offer but also felt weird inside, "I will love to help out, but isn't this too unsafe."

"No worries, we have too many protections so nothing could go wrong. Now, do you have any idea if anyone suspicious interacted with Denki today?"

"Denki got attacked!" Sumire was surprised by the news that Boruto didn't feel like continuing. She obviously didn't look like the culprit.

"Yes, we found that it started from his neck. Someone put the curse on his neck and it spread later." Boruto informed and focused on Sumire's reaction.

Sumire felt an irritation but focused on the topic on hand. She was unaware of the actual plan and only knew that a seal was carved on her back.

She had yet to activate it since she was conflicted, according to Sumire.

"I don't remember anyone suspicious around him." Sumire thought about it but found nothing, as there could be no suspicious person in that place.

Seeing her expression, Boruto felt that she wasn't it.

"Okay, sorry to disturb you. We will talk about it tomorrow and investigate together. If you remember something, just give me a call." Boruto smiled as he gave her a one handed hug and let go. They already had each other's numbers so there was no need to give it to her.

Sumire found the short contact nice and felt her feelings waver towards acceptance of the new life. This positivity caused the darkness inside to fluctuate ever so slightly.

When Boruto let go, his right eye twitched again and he saw a clump of darkness in Sumire. The sight caused him to jump back on instinct and the lump seemed to stare in his direction, looking at something.

'What is that?' Boruto was sure that it wasn't a dream anymore but something real. There was something with his eye and he checked with the drone flying in invisible mode around him.

His right eye had turned pure white with black sclera and it was glowing. It was letting him see what the byakugan couldn't see.

The sight brought a smile to his face as he had a bloodline that was unique to him, and it would definitely bring him more advantages.

'But why did it awaken now and what is that?' Boruto thought as he looked at Sumire who was confused at his actions.

'Boruto, what happened?' Shikadai asked through the mental connection on the team telepathy channel.

'I can see some dark being inside Sumire. My eye seemed to have evolved to counter this situation.' Boruto informed them and they were shocked to hear both news.

'What do we do?' Iwabe asked

Before Boruto could reply, Sumire felt something was wrong and she fell to the ground.

"Sumire" Boruto got closer as he saw her fall and her skin started to darken.

"Boruto" Sumire said with difficulty as her hand went towards him and he instinctively almost caught her hand but Naruto appeared and pulled him away.

"She is possessed." Naruto muttered as Sumire smiled in creepy manner seeing him appear.

Boruto landed safely as his father threw him towards his friends and looked at Sumire.

'I almost got done in.' Boruto realized as he looked at knife like nails that looked extremely dangerous.

"Dad, is everything okay?" Boruto asked as he was worried about Sumire's health. She wasn't like the others as she was the main source for the monster.

Naruto really didn't want this to happen tonight but somehow Boruto realized Sumire was the culprit because of his eye mutating. The eye mutating confirmed that the beast was related to Ishiki, and Boruto's blood reacted to the presence of a hostile Otsutsuki.

There was problem in dealing with this situation as the beast was possessing Sumire.

"Can you understand me? If that is so, surrender and I won't kill you." Naruto offered and he covered the area in his barrier so that nothing could escape or enter.

The monster didn't listen to his words and darkness covered up Sumire once again like a suit. It didn't attack Naruto and just stood there thinking of a way to escape. It was aware that Naruto couldn't kill it and attacking him wasn't an option.

Naruto saw intelligence from those actions.

'Kids, I am going to send you inside her head. I want you to wake up Sumire, so I can pull this thing out. Understood?' Naruto talked the children inside their heads and they nodded.

'Wait, I can see it. The monster isn't just inside Sumire but is connected to another dimension.' Boruto stopped them and informed Naruto as he saw spatial fluctuations.

Naruto's space powers were great but this thing's masking power was really great that he had been unable to see it or feel it.

Naruto activated his space powers and saw what Boruto had seen before his eye closed down. It was a new awakening so he didn't have much control and stamina for it.

The fact that his eyes could see more than Naruto in his casual state was very surprising. Casual Naruto wasn't weak or anything, as he was still the strongest and most perceptive person.

He had to actually use his spatial powers to find the thing as his senses were not able to find it, meaning Boruto's eye had better sight than Naruto's.

Naruto could only see the shadow now that it had awoken while Boruto could see it before it took over.

His eyes were really powerful, more powerful than any other at seeing through foreign elements.

'What other abilities does it have?' Naruto wondered

"Kono take care of it." Naruto sent Konohamaru into the dimension of the monster while he sent the kids into the mental plan of Sumire and in Konoha, he took care of Sumire by paralyzing her with his gaze as he took a seat.

The earth moved around him and took the shape of a seat, and he sat down to watch it all unfold. His sight wasn't just on the current location but everywhere else. He was checking if the enemy would come out now that the plan was up in flames.

And he wasn't wrong. The enemy took the chance that the beast had engaged Naruto to unleash it in multiple places.

Naruto took out his spear and stabbed it into the earth, releasing huge amount of energy and this energy locked onto all humans that had been marked as citizens to protect them with his powers.

His powers had anti-absorption quality so that the shadows found themselves eaten up instead. The shadows were taken care off but the main enemy didn't appear.

Naruto knew it wasn't going to be that easy. The man had been patient for very long time, so he wasn't going to act impatient now.

Nonetheless, Naruto didn't get frustrated and focused on what he could do. Sumire floated to his side and Naruto focused on her back where he saw the seal.

Seal circles floated in front of his eyes as he analyzed the seal carved into Sumire's skin.

While Naruto was taking caring of the normal world, Konohamaru arrived in the world of darkness. It was the personal dimension made for the beast and it was the area where the real body resided.

There was nothing in this world but a black and white sky and land with no life. In this world, Nue was the only thing that lived.

It was a massive beast with a size that made mountains look small.

It was 1 km tall and 2 km wide with a hideous appearance. Its pure black body wriggled like snakes and the giant hands hovered besides its head.

Its blood red teeth smiled at him in a creepy manner and the aura in this world made it hard for him to breathe as it ate away at his soul and mental health.

It was a world where nothing could live except this monster and it was its home field. Naruto had stopped it from feeding now but it had already eaten more than 10,000 people's chakra today.

Konohamaru didn't cower and looked at it with casual grace. He was the student of Naruto Uzumaki and he was the current leader of the Sarutobi clan.

He was the monkey sage.

He had gone through torturous training to step to this level. He had gazed into the abyss that was the threat of the Otsutsuki so this little monster wasn't going to affect his heart. His heart considered it nothing special.

"Come at me!" Kono roared and released a shockwave filled with his flame chakra, causing flames to spread in the area. It wasn't an attack, just a rousing shout.

With that he spun his adamantine staff and extended it. It grew in size instantly with speed of light, tearing through space and hit the beast in the face.

The mountain size beast was hit by the staff that had grown to the size of its head and was carried into the sky with the force behind it.

The attack caused the beast to get hurt but it slapped the staff aside with full force with its large hand while the other hand went towards Kono.

Kono made the staff small again and spun it around, hitting the body from the side with sweeping strike and sent it flying to the side.

Following that attack he once again released a straight attack towards its throat.

Roar

The beast roared in anger, releasing a wave of dark energy that pushed back against the staff and almost made him let go.

Kono quickly backed away as the beast flapped its giant wings causing a dark tornado to appear that gave out screams of despair from the inside and reached into the stratosphere. They were huge and powerful, cutting through everything and dragging everything inside, mountains broke into pieces from the suction.

Kono quickly retreated as he felt the danger of mental attack from the wind. He was already being attacked by the field and this direct attack would do much more damage to his mind.

Focusing on the wind, Kono released a golden flame from his mouth.

True Samadhi flames

These flames were taught to Kono by Sun Wukong, the person that released the flames on Kunlun Mountains. They were the immortal flames that never went out and would burn down everything in the world.

Kono wasn't on the level that his flames could burn everything or even make them immortal but his flames were quarter the heat of the sun and would last for a month if he didn't extinguish them.

This was one of his strongest attacks and it was released like a giant serpentine dragon that crashed through the dark wave and collided with dark purplish and red beam that the monster had released.

Kono continued to supply chakra to his attack to maintain it, which distracted the monster from his clones that hit the beast from the sides.

Two more flame attacks were released and mixed into a giant fire storm that burnt the whole area to ash.

The dark work was filled with light and the heat caused everything to collapse. Kono had no problem taking on the heat as he had applied his flame armor technique that grew stronger with the flames.

It was a skill based on the concept from Raikage's lightning armor technique. It gave him defense and higher resistance to flames along with increasing his fire power.

Kono continued the attack for a time and didn't intend to stop until he felt the enemy die. He was sensor but that was blocked by the creature's ability so he relied on the feeling from the flames.

The beast obviously didn't agree with his plan as the air around him solidified and dark miasma covered the region.

It was thick enough to cover his vision, making him go blind and tried to enter his body. Kono blocked it with his armor and didn't stop his attack but he released another clone using the Kote.

The clone was to support him if anything went wrong.

The clone didn't manage to sense it as the giant hands materialized and clapped with full force.

The clone pushed away the real one once the hand came into contact, saving Kono from getting crushed like a bug.

The push caused his attack to stop and the other clones were destroyed by more hands tearing through them.

Roar

This time it released multiple beams in his direction, from the mouth, the eyes and the multiple hands.

The whole area was covered with those beams.

Kono stood up and brushed his hair, as he entered Sage mode with a thought. His transformation finished instantly and a small golden crown adorned his head. He now had a monkey tail and fair covering his chest and feet.

His eyes had turned golden with red eye liner. His power was boosted by 20 times.

Kono slammed his fist into the ground causing a giant earth wall to grow in multiple layers to block the attacks while he took aim and threw his staff at full strength.

The staff spun through the air and grew in size when it arrived at the target. The size was bigger than the beast and with the immense force it dragged the beast of the planet.

The beast was stronger than the Elite Jounin but Kage level ninja would murder it. It would have been stronger if Naruto hadn't stopped the feeding frenzy.

With this last attack, the beast's body was completely battered even though it had managed to reduce the damage taken.

The impact of the battle with the children was also causing it damage. It was connected to Sumire and Naruto had managed to make her the main focus point, cancelling other seals.

Sumire was his life line now.

"Let's finish this big guy. I got a date to catch." Kono joked as he flew towards his target.

--

While Kono was fighting in the other dimension, the kids arrived inside of Sumire's mental world. It was the Academy but everything was black and white.

The place looked old and damaged on one side while normal on the other side. It was a sign that Sumire was conflicted by something really important. The black and white was from the beast that was at the entrance where the team arrived.

It wasn't big as the real body but it was still 100 meter tall and very much dangerous since the mental world gave it an advantage over everyone.

"Where is Sumire?" Boruto asked as he couldn't see her and looked for an answer while his focus was on the monster.

"I will check it out." Mitsuki released snakes into the area and dodged the giant hand aiming for him.

"Focus and go all out." Shikadai reminded them as he activated his armor for protection. His wasn't as elaborate as Boruto's but it gave him protection and boost in power.

It was simple design that covered up his body in a tight black metallic sight with a red visor. Shikadai wasn't a close combat guy so he took out chakra guns for this occasion since fighting with daggers was a bad idea.

That darkness looked alive and he wasn't going to touch it.

Iwabe took out his giant hammer and wore his armor that was silver in color. It wasn't good as the others but it was better than nothing. It gave protection and boosted his strength.

Boruto activated his armor as well and held his giant blade since the thin blade wasn't going to do anything here.

With Shika's words, Boruto unleashed laser attacks on the beast using Yang chakra. He had mastery of all elements and could change the setting of his attacks for elemental advantage.

The beast was darkness and Yang was light, so he tried going for Yang now that he knew about it.

Iwabe smashed his hammer into the ground causing an earth to shake around the beast and rise, shaped like spikes.

The beast called Nue easily bypassed the attacks. It rushed at them with full speed, causing Boruto to block its rush.

The armor started the boosters and Boruto slashed down with his blade that became huge covered in strong lightning.

Nue released a beam attack to stop it and tried to squish him.

Iwabe caused a giant spike to rise, stabbing into one of the hands while Mitsuki released a giant wind sickle to cut the other.

Shikadai had his wires coil around its feet from the back and pulled it back to one side to make it slip.

Boruto also released attacks with his drones.

The Giant rasengan inside the drones was mixed with the yang chakra and hit the beast directly on the wings.

It was squeezed by the attacks but it made itself smaller and released miasma.

Mitsuki quickly sucked in the miasma and neutralized it. He was a poison expert like Orochimaru so no miasma was going to take him out.

His body could easily adapt to these things and make an antidote.

Boruto called the drones to support him and boost his powers. With the drones mixing their powers with his sword, he slashed down while Iwabe spun his hammer up causing the earth to shake and catch the beast with giant hands.

Shikadai also caught him with his wires again.

It was a deciding moment and Boruto had put a lot of power into it, but something went wrong.

Sumire appeared in a berserk state and smashed into Boruto from the side, causing his attack to break. Her presence had been hidden. She was the master of this world and could do such simple things.

Just like Boruto, Sumire was also a creation type. Her armor was silver with a Pegasus theme but the white energy wings had turned black.

She had a sword and shield in her hands.

The shield bash sent him rolling on the ground and even messed with the system of his armor. She had good knowledge and could mess with it.

The attack caused the boosters to shut down along with the barrier.

Boruto quickly got up and blocked her attack with his sword, and followed it up with kick to her shield. The impact pushed her back and his drones were engaged with her drones.

They were focusing on two sides of the battle at the same time.

Sumire was one of the strongest students at the academy but she wasn't Boruto's match. He could feel that her powers were boosted.

"Sumire, wake up." Boruto called out to her but Sumire slashed her sword towards him and released a water wave that would cut down most things with utter ease.

Boruto side stepped it and caused the ground around Sumire to weaken before rushing into her with lighting charge.

Sumire's wings flapped causing a water tornado to cover her up and Boruto was almost dragged into it but he managed to use his water mastery to pull back.

Following that he slashed upward, cleaving it in half and releasing a lighting wave towards Sumire.

But she wasn't there and it was just a water clone. Sumire was in the sky covered by the invisibility jutsu and dived towards him.

Boruto's eye awakened and he saw Sumire coming at him. With that knowledge in his head, Boruto times his kick and hit Sumire right in the face.

It was so strong that Sumire crashed into Nue and almost broke her neck.

The attack was enough to stop for a time while the trio was engaged with the Nue in a very dangerous battle. Fortunately, Mitsuki had the Sage mode so he was able to lead the battle even better than Boruto.

"Sumire, wake up. Please, wake up." Boruto held Sumire down with the chains and shook her body.

Her mind was back in the battle and she was struggling with the chains. Her drones had been shot down when her mind went offline for the moment, so now she was at a disadvantage.

Boruto couldn't see any way to help her snap out of it.

"Sumire, I love you. Please go out with me." Boruto couldn't think of a thing so he received advice from his father that told him that this would work.

Boruto hacked into her system and unlocked the helmet. Her movement seemed to stop when he repeated the words and to seal the deal, Boruto kissed her lips.

He really didn't want to do this but there was no other choice for him.

With his kiss as the focal point, Sumire managed to climb back out of the dark cage that the peace had put her in. She was conflicted and didn't know what to choose.

Her vengeance or the new life, and the options caused her mental field to weaken. This allowed the beast free reign inside her head.

With Boruto confessing and kissing her, Sumire decided to choose the new life. She wanted to be happy. She didn't want to return to the dark world of her childhood after the death of her mother.

Her mother always gave her happiness, so she would never want Sumire to suffer.

It was even her last words but she had forgotten it all because of hatred clouding her mind.

"Thank you for saving me, but why? I was an enemy so why did you risk your life for me." Sumire knew that by now the team was aware that she had been part of a plan to cause chaos. It should have destroyed her reputation now.

"Stop taking nonsense, I can tell that you didn't want to do it. This world tells me enough and we are friends, so how can I just let you go."

Sumire smiled at his words and felt touched by them, "What about the confession and the kiss? Are you going to take responsibility?"

"Uh"

"Just kidding, we will deal with that slowly. Let's take it down first." Sumire giggled as she lightly tapped his face and stood up.

"Yeah, let's go." Boruto shook his head and focused on the task. He was surprised that Sumire could act so playfully.

Girls really were good at hiding things.

The battle became one sided and the beast was defeated. Naruto was about to rip it to pieces and stuff it inside the lab, but Sumire stood in the way.

"Lord Seventh, can I keep this part with me?" Sumire and everyone returned to the normal world. The real body had been defeated by Konohamaru and sealed away, leaving only a trace with Sumire.

Naruto had managed to break the seal as well and now he was about to free Sumire from it.

"Why?" Naruto was curious why she would say such a thing. He didn't intend to punish Sumire as he knew she never intended to go with the plan and even planned to tell him.

It was unfortunate but the mastermind didn't care about giving options to pawns.

"I feel that it has connected to me now. There is no desire left inside for harm and it just wants to stay by my side. I am sure that it isn't mental intrusion but a fusion of the souls." Sumire replied and she knew her answer was weird. She felt weird about it.

She felt Nue mixing with her soul. She felt childish desires from it. It had been disconnected from the real body and lost its evil traits, becoming a child.

Naruto confirmed her words and saw that the souls had been mixed like he was with Kurama. They were in symbiotic relationship and the feeling of evil was gone from this piece.

Her words were accurate but there was still danger of an outbreak happening.

"You will have to stay in the lab for some time, if I allow it."

"I am okay with that, and my punishment?"

"There is no need. You never committed any crime, so there is nothing to punish. You are a good girl, Sumire and I am happy with your choice." Naruto patted her head and thought about the potential of this new factor.

Sumire mixed with this thing could play an important part in the future but it also meant that the enemy had access to such monsters for future battles.

The future was looking grim and they needed to find a solution to these monsters.

Sumire was shocked by his words and couldn't help but cry. She felt love from his words and it healed her heart.

"Thank you Lord Seventh, I will never let you down." Sumire said with determination as she went to her knees but Naruto caught her shoulders.

"No need to bow, now go and rest. We will talk later about this issue." Naruto said calmly and sent Sumire to Irene for a checkup at his house. He decided to move Sumire to his place.

"Kono, you did well. Take a break and enjoy your date with Moegi." Naruto slapped his back playfully and sent him away before looking at the kids.

"Good work children, I am impressed. This will go on your records and tomorrow you will be the local heroes. Of course, there is a reward for every good deed." Naruto said with a big smile and the kids got something for the risk they took.

Iwabe got a better armor. Mitsuki got a new gauntlet to boost his elemental abilities and Shikadai got new daggers.

Boruto got a drone with lasers.

It was more than what they expected and it put them in a cheerful manner.

"Let's party!" Boruto announced as Naruto left and the others jumped on him as they were too tired after all this shit.

The dark clouds were scattered by the heroes once again and in the dark corners of the world, the shadow forces watched over their plans.

In a different dimension, hidden away from Naruto, there was large facility. It was the headquarters of Kara, where Ishiki resided.

It was the place all the people that disappeared were taken to for experimentation. Naruto was unable to find it as his skills in spatial search were lacking. He was learning without much guidance and there was no specialist for it on their side, so he was the pioneer for this path now.

This was the main base but there were bases all around the globe in the ninja world, and there were even some members inside Konoha.

Ishiki had a way to side step Naruto's senses and he could walk past him without the Hokage realizing that his nemesis just walked by.

He was a man of grace and class. With manners and style that made everyone feel that they were in front of a king.

People went to their knees naturally without a word in front of his commanding aura. He was a powerful being and one with a very high potential even among his kind.

He was the owner of the Dharmachakra, the eight pronged eye that had eight different abilities that dominated all his foes but now he was unable to utilize it properly. He had gifted those abilities to his followers to cultivate them so that they would grow for when he returns to full power.

The conclusions made by Naruto weren't far from the truth. Ishiki was unable to return to full power as he had been forced into a weak vessel because of the emergency.

To return to full power he needed a lot of energy so he never tried it when Kaguya was free, she would have crushed him with his fodder level of power.

So, he hid away and planned for his revival. He helped in the killing of Kaguya's husband by distracting her and this led to her mental break down.

It was shameful for the Otsutsuki clan but the woman had fallen from grace.

From then on he collected data from the world and let it follow its course. He did find good vessel but let them be as he wanted even better vessels.

Along the way he found good servant material and trained them to serve him, and here he was. The thing that Naruto didn't know was that he had already found his ideal vessel.

It was a kid born with the nullification ability. He cancelled out chakra and all energy. His couldn't be affected by it.

He had planned to get a strong kid but this was a pleasant surprise. It was good thing but Naruto being too strong was a problem.

Ishiki was unable to get the energy from the world with him out there. To counter that, Ishiki had many plans in mind and these would help him in the future as well.

"Sir, the plan seems to have been a success. The soldiers of darkness project can now increase our army." The head of research Amado said as he presented the data to Ishiki, who was sitting in the garden drinking some tea and watching the beautiful scenery from above. The place was high up in the mountains.

Amado was a genius man that served Ishiki and he had been supplied with Otsutsuki technology and knowledge. It was the knowledge that Ishiki had gathered from the main world and from his conquests of high tech worlds.

He had devoured their history and gained everything from them, making him highly skilled at everything.

Now he was filled with desire for this world. It had become a delicious delicacy as it was filled with so many strong individuals that by eating the fruit he would definitely skip ranks.

"Amado, can you increase the absorption ability or not? The soldiers won't grow with the Hokage breathing down on us." Ishiki spoke calmly as he glanced at Amado. He was an enemy but Ishiki respected people like Naruto. He knew everything about Naruto and knew him very intimately. They could have been very good friends if it wasn't for their opposing goals.

"With some time we will be able to integrate the null element into them and it should cancel out his resistance."

"But..."

"He should have something else on hand. He also has minor null ability so that would cancel out the null from our side. The only way to make the soldiers grow would be to eliminate the man."

"As I thought, and how much was collected this time?"

"We had a good harvest this time and the process should be closer to finishing soon." Amado replied in a calm tone.

He was a man with white hair and old age but he looked fit and attractive for his age. He wore the typical research outfit with glasses. He was a heavy smoker but never dared to do it beside Ishiki who looked down on such activities.

His reply was about the vessel and the energy for Ishiki's revival process. Now that the world had grown to a bigger size, Ishiki could harvest the energy from the world without going too far. His ability wasn't strong enough now to absorb from different dimensions with ease and it took a toll on him.

The distraction from the chaos helped them get the energy from the world using tech.

Without the energy preparations, it would take very long to build up enough for the revival. Good amount of energy was required since the difference between his vessel and Ishiki's power was huge.

"Good, start the next step and let's see how they handle it." Ishiki smiled as he was amused by the situation. He was interested in how they solve the problems and it allowed him to study them.

All these plans were tests that will come back together at the final point and used against them with full force.

A.N Hope you enjoyed and comment. Now we are done with the initial 15 or so episodes from Boruto. I hope you guys can share your view on this now. What do you think of all of this?

Nue here is not the same as in Boruto. It is Donedevimon.

I now understand why the writers dumb down many characters. When you have characters that are smart and able then you narrow down your options. In Boruto's example, it would be the old generation. Naruto is someone very strong, he has clones, and he has good senses that can cover country worth of area.

The writers have to dumb him down and ignore all his abilities for things to happen in Boruto. Bandit attack happens, Naruto doesn't realize it.

Nue thing happens and Kids find out but Naruto doesn't realize it.

Momoshiki and Kinshiki arrive on earth, Naruto doesn't realize it.

Shit's going down but the adults are nowhere to be seen and kids are the only ones doing anything, bad writing at its best. Naruto wasn't perfect or above average but it never did fall into this category.

The adults took care of the adults things and the kids took care of the kids things. There was no strong character in Naruto, so that made it much easier.

Now to write these plot points it would take more work and it might not be done before the deadline, so we get the subpar writing.

Having smart and able people means you have to find creative ways for the plot to take place, and many writers in the comic and manga industry just ignore it.

In the comics there are many times when other characters could have done something but they never appear because it is not their comic and it would make it boring.

I think killing Naruto earlier would have been better for the story, like when Boruto was six. Momo and Kin versus Naruto and Sasuke, an epic battle where Naruto ends up dying and Boruto somehow gets their because of his eye where he gets touched by Momo for the kama.

Though, I would have preferred a story about Neji or Gaara or Tobirama. I like these guys the most. But a story about Naruto could have been good as well. I mean a story that really focuses on Naruto and not the Uchiha.

I hope you realize that Shippuden was completely Uchiha centric and after the war there are more Uchiha centric novels than there are for anyone else. Naruto barely has anything on him and the story never really focused on him. Naruto is one of the rare main characters that didn't get any part of his dream on screen.

Luffy is getting friends, gathering allies and making a name to become the King while Naruto never learnt anything about leadership or parts of Kage position in the manga or a novel.

There could have been an Uzumaki arc where the clan comes back for revenge against Iwa and Kumo, forcing Naruto to be stuck between the two sides.

There was also Naruto's dream about a world without conflict. Focusing on this part would have given the writer multiple books worth of material and serious story for all of us. But, I doubt Kishi and his team have any ability to write a serious story. They are people that only know how to touch on the surface level of a topic.

World peace is a complex topic while Naruto is a simple guy, it would have been a journey of change and multiple events to get to the end goal. But, none of the novels ever focused on Naruto's intentions and even in his novels the writers never forgot to suck on some Uchiha dong.
