Time Skip

The scene in the kitchen of Fentonworks was not one to behold by the campers from Amity Park as Harry, Ron and Hermione would soon tell their newest friend and his own. Tonks had literally pulled them into the room as soon as she'd asked for a private place to "Talk to the Trio" and Jazz had pointed silently to the kitchen in silence. As soon as the door had shut, voices were heard getting louder then quieter as the three Gryffindor Fifth years tried to talk her down, everyone in the sitting room wondering what was going on as they all looked to the Secret Trio as they huddled in a corner and spoke quietly to one another.

Getting bored by the mutterings from the four, One of the campers, Mikey, had gone up to them and asked to know who they four in the kitchen were. Jazz, Tucker and Sam, who had calmed down a little from her shock at the site, had looked to Danny as he swallowed and answered, "That's not my secret, Mikey. It's for them to tell."

"But you must know something about them, I mean the one with the glasses looks just like you, but with green eyes." Mikey protested, "He isn't a cousin, is he?"

"Mikey, I'm sure they'll explain everything when they come out." Jazz supplied, looking at the ginger nerd as he huffed, but nodded and looked at Sam before he got up and began to walk back to the others, shaking his head when they all turned back to talk amongst themselves as the kitchen door opened and Harry came out, looking flushed when everyone looked at him, Danny looking at him as he came over to them and sat down with them, said, "Tonks is really mad that we came without telling Dumbledore."

"I can see why Harry." Danny replied, smirking as a glare was shot in his direction and added, "Any chance that she wants to know what that scroll is?"

"We told her all we knew and that Nick had given it to us to use, but you're the ghost experts so it's up to you what to reveal," Harry said, nodding and putting his head on his fists as shouting came from the doorway, Hermione and Ron ducking out and into the living room, Ron looking around excitedly at all the muggle contraptions he saw. Shaking her head at his antics, Hermione made her way over to where her friend was sitting and sat down, saying, "Tonks wants to know how we're all going to get back to Hogwarts and get everyone to safety."

The Quartet looked to one another as Danny sighed and muttered in Esperanto, Tucker and Sam replying in kind as Jazz rolled her eyes and pulled a face, coupled with a half-shrug, at the Gryffindors when they showed surprise at the fluent use of the language by Sam and Tucker and said, "So, any ideas what the snake-faced man wanted?"

"Danny's whereabouts, Miss Fenton." Hermione replied, hesitation evident in her voice as the other girl sighed and looked to her brother, saying, "He was with you, though. Getting rid of that Poltergeist, Meeves, was it?"
"Peeves, Jazz." Harry spoke up, looking at her as she nodded, "He's kinda been getting out of hand recently and I think our friends knew who to call, seeing as Danny showed up soon after they went away for a couple of days and came back with him."

"And just as we were getting ready to go camping as well?" Jazz asked, looking at Harry as he shrugged and replied, "I don't think they knew at the time that you were going camping."

"Kion vi volas diri la Fantoma Zono?" Sam spluttered, looking at her friend and causing the others to look as the talking trio as Danny spoke rapidly and argued his obvious statement. Jazz sighed and got up, causing everyone in the room to look at them as she walked away, shaking her head as one of the three Brits made to follow, commenting, "There are only two words I know in Esperanto, and those are the two."

"Not been in the group long?" Harry asked, getting up and following her as she shook her head and went into the kitchen, bypassing Tonks when she saw the two and went through a door near the pantry, adding, "It's okay. We sort of know about Danny."

As soon as he said those words, Jazz suddenly stopped where she was about to put her foot and looked at him sharply that he had to take a step back as her eyes glinted in the eerily green light before she laughed bitterly and said, "How much do you know?"

"You're not going to deny it?"

"How can I?" Jazz laughed again, this time a carefree one and shook her head, smiling a little as she added, "Danny must trust you enough to let you in on his secret. He didn't even know that I knew until a few months ago."

"He's only known us for a couple of days, though. You're saying that he's quick to trust?" Harry answered, confused as Jazz shook her head and started to walk down the stairs again as she answered, "He doesn't trust easily. He'll have tried to deny it before realising it's pointless and stopped hiding from you. And I can see that trait in you, Harry. You two are kindred spirits, in a way. But how did you find out anyway?"

"He told me earlier. Peeves had taunted him which led to him having green eyes, which by the way, is really creepy, and he didn't deny it when I asked him." Harry told her, smiling when she laughed quietly, "Hermione and Ron found out when we heard you were in danger from Voldemort, the snake-guy. Rings just burst out of his waist as he shouted at our Headmaster and he transformed into Phantom. He hasn't told us how he got his powers yet. He was actually going to do that when he got back with you."

"I could show you." Jazz said, looking down the stairs and continued, "It was actually a cliché lab accident. And we're headed down there anyway."

"Like in the comics?" Harry asked, snorting when she nodded and smiled as they emerged into the basement. The entire place was lit by phials upon phials of glowing green liquid, some of which were on tables around the entire room, an examination table was in the centre, which sent chills up Harry's spine as Jazz glared at it as she walked past. An entire wall was dedicated to a large hexagonal door that had diagonal hazard stripes over it. Harry gaped at the size of the room as Jazz walked to the door and began typing something on a computer near to its left-hand side. With a press of her thumb on a sensor button, the door split into two, with a hiss, and opened, revealing a swirling green mass beyond. Nodding to herself, Jazz released the door and let it slide shut again, the lined door taking place over the vortex as Harry opened his mouth to speak.

"Yeah, that's where it happened." Came a voice behind the boy Wizard as he started and drew his wand while spinning around to come face to face with Tucker Foley as he walked past him and said, "Sam and I were there when he walked into the portal and turned it on, from the inside. The screams and yells curdled our blood as he was electrocuted and zapped by the opening portal at the same time. When he eventually stopped yelling and stumbled out, he was changed into Phantom."

"Tucker," Jazz began, only to receive a look from the younger American as he continued, "It was horrible to hear him dying, yet getting revived at the same time. His parents have persecuted him ever since he first started fighting ghosts, always shouting what they'll do to their own son when they capture him."

"That's horrible. Sorry, you had to go through that." Harry replied, putting his wand away as Tucker nodded once and asked, "What about you? How long have you known?"

"Not long. Only just found out tonight. He told me first then practically showed Hermione, Ron and two of our teachers before coming here." Harry replied, clearing his throat before adding, "He hadn't told us how, though."

"Right." Tucker nodded before he turned to Jazz as she smiled softly and asked, "How are we gonna get to where Harry's staying?"

"You know how, Jazz. The map's the only thing that can carry all of us at the same time and you've got the remote for the portal when we go through it." Tucker said, turning to Harry as he said, "Danny and one of your friends is telling the woman who came with him."

"She still mad at us for coming to Amity Park without telling anyone?" Harry asked, biting his lip as Tucker nodded and shrugged, saying, "You did run away from where you're staying, so yeah, she's bound to be mad at you for leaving."

"Actually, Nick gave us that scroll, said that the people of somewhere called the Farfrost, Frozen? had given it to him to give to us so we could help. Something like that." Harry explained, "We didn't know that as soon as we said where we wanted to go, we'd be whisked there straight away."

"The FarFrozen. Like Jazz said, the Map is an all-powerful ghostly object." Tucker said, looking behind him as footsteps and exclamations were heard coming down the stairs. By the sounds of things, Ron was coming down to the basement along with some of the residents who hadn't seen the Fenton's lab before as Danny pointed out when he entered and saw the three stood there watching. Grumbles came from the only adult of the group as Tonks emerged and looked around, asking them, "How is a large group going to get to Hogwarts from a basement, Hermione?"

"Ask Danny." The bushy-haired girl replied, "He's the one who knows."

Looking at the youngest Fenton, Tonks raised an eyebrow as he turned and said, "Through the Ghost Zone." Ignoring the exclamations and a blonde jock starting toward him, He said louder, "It's the fastest way to get from here to England. I'm sure that as soon as we get to where we're going, someone will be able to tell you who that guy was."

"Fenturd, You're a Fenton. Your parents are ghost hunters and you want to take us through the ghost's very home!?" The jock pointed out, murmurs following as some teens looked at him and nodded as Danny crossed his arms and scowled before Harry spoke up, "Danny, they're right. You're not seriously suggesting that all of us go through together?"

"That's where the map comes in, Harry." Danny muttered, low enough for the wizard to hear, "It can get everyone through the Zone in a matter of seconds, even experienced it with Sam and Tucker."

Nodding, Harry beckoned his friends to come over and got the map from her, scrunching his face up at the power rolling off it as he handed the scroll to Danny, who nodded once and spoke up, "I know our parent's professions, but this is the fastest way to get to where we'll be staying till everything gets settled own here." Nodding at Jazz, he shouted over the mechanics whirring in the portal in front of them all, and Ron's, Tonks' and Hermione's shouts, "Everybody grab hands and no matter what happens, don't let go. That means you as well, Dash."

As soon as everyone had grabbed onto someone else's hand, Harry holding onto Hermione's hand with Danny holding back a blush as he held Sam's and Jazz's, everyone felt a jerk around their navel area and screamed as one of the two raven-haired boys shouted, "Dumbledore's Office, Hogwarts."

Dumbledore's office, Hogwarts

Albus Wulfric Brian Dumbledore was getting used to the fast fact that his guest and Ghost Hunter was indeed a ghost himself and had poured himself a Firewhiskey to ease his mind when a sudden chill blew in his office, shortly followed by shouting and screams and thudding of bodies on the floor with an American voice apologising before a growl came from someone else.

Turning around sharply, he saw a large group of teens, with Harry Potter who was holding a scroll in his hand, Ronald Weasley and Hermione Granger of Gryffindor amongst them, Danny being held by the t-shirt by a larger blonde boy. Tonks was glaring daggers at the three students while an older teen, who had the same facial features as Danny Fenton, was talking to the blonde. The larger majority of the group was staring at the Headmaster and the Golden Trio who were shrinking back from the stares.

Clearing his throat, he composed himself and said, "Welcome to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry."

The reaction was that of a town of muggles. Shock and surprise were sent in ripples as he smiled kindly.

EDITED

So, everyone's at Hogwarts now. I'll be working on the next chapter at the weekend, but don't expect it too soon. I'm working and I don't know when I can actually get a day off, stupid agency work.

I got a PM from Tsukiko K, telling me that I'd made a part of this confusing for them. So, I've edited and I hope you can find the edited part. no, it's not a challenge.

Just to let you know, Jazz, Tucker and Sam don't know about the Golden Trio being Wizards, neither do the rest of Amity Park, so they have some explaining to do.

Thank you, Guest reviewer Emberlynne, for your review with information on learners permits in America. I'll bear that in mind when I write again.

Anyway, Until next time,

Hermione Jean Burton
