DASH
"YO, PAULINA!" Dash yelled, running over to the Queen of Casper High as she turned from talking to her friend, Star Storm, and raised an eyebrow as he approached and stood before the two girls.
"What is it, Dash?" The Latino girl asked, as Dash looked at Star and waved slightly as she cocked her head silently. Looking at them both, he took a breath before he said, "What do you think about this place?"
"Is that all?" Paulina replied, folding her arms, "It's too dark. Too horrid. And the fashion, UGH! Don't make me go there."
"Paulina, I don't think that's what he meant." Star said, "Why do you ask, Dash?"
"Because, there was a shouting letter earlier. The Fentons, the Geek and the Goth are going to talk a woman when she comes tonight." Dash said, "He asked if we'd do the same for that Weasley guy. Give our end of the whole deal and try and talk her down."
"And what's that have to do with us?"
"Fenturd asked if I could get people to agree to talk to this woman." Dash sighed, "I'm starting with you two 'cause you're part of the A-List. I'll get to the losers later."
Star quirked her head as she thought on what the star player said and what was being asked of her and the A-Listers. The entire class in general had been there last night and the three students had been a huge help in explaining their 'world' to them all. While she still believed that she was dreaming, Star wondered if this was actually reality and she nodded before saying gently, "I still think this is a dream, but that Potter guy and his friends were good, explaining this to us when we arrived. Even that Weasley guy helped us settle in kinda, so I'll help. Paulina?"
"I want to know exactly what we'll get out of this if we do help." The latina said, holding her head high as Dash nodded gratefully at Star and looked at the Queen in question. Shrugging, he said nothing as Paulina smirked, folded her arms and said, "I'll help when I know what we're getting out of this."
"You'll get protection." A voice above them said, startling all three of them as they looked around, even looking at the ghost that floated just to the right of Dash. The Tudor clothing and ruffled collar held significance that it was Sir Nick who had spoken as the ghost smiled gently and nodded at them as they stared.
"Hear me out before you jump to conclusions, Miss." He said as he hovered nearer to the floor, not quite touching the floor either, "You were thrust into a world that was hidden from you for many centuries, am I right?"
All three nodded, confirming the ghost's answer as he floated higher and blinked, the motion bypassing his notice as he carried on, "From what I hear, Mr Potter had a premonition last night that showed you and your classmates in danger-"
"That still doesn't tell us how they knew where to find us." Star pointed out, interrupting the ghost as he smiled and nodded slightly as he replied, "Even amongst us Wizarding ghosts, the feats of Phantom and his friends are quite famous. We, and young Daniel Fenton, told them of Amity Park, even if he didn't mention where it was. I might add that young Harry Potter, Ronald Weasley and Hermione Granger make quite the troublesome trio, much like young Danny, Samantha and Tucker are no doubt with you. Not a year has gone by where they have had peaceful time within these walls. Yet.
"Now, take it from their point of view. Harry, Ron and Hermione had spoken with Danny's friends and his sister, trying to find out if they were okay, so imagine when they heard Samantha shouting down the Fenton Phones asking for help. Danny went to help you, leaving his new friends behind with no way of knowing if he would be back with his own friends and family or with his entire class, the latter of which has happened. So, they took any means to get to your city to try and help, that means being an ultra-powerful object from my own world, The Ghost Zone."
"I still don't get why we should involve ourselves." Paulina grumbled, pouting as Dash sighed and said, "Because, Paulina, Fenton asked if we would be willing to help. He's never done that before, except the one time when we teamed up to fight that ghost, Youngblood."
"He disappeared when he fell off the side of that boat." Paulina deadpanned, a unimpressed tone in her voice as Dash faltered, his lips growing thin before he said, "We're guests in this castle, Paulina. The least we can do is help that Weasley guy and his friends."
That said, he turned to Star as she silently watched the King and Queen of Casper having an argument and smiled gently at her, saying, "I don't know what time this lady's coming, but I'm gonna talk to others if you wanna help. Fenturd said they should be heard by the front doors later today."
"Okay, Dash." Star answered, turning away with her 'planet'. Smiling, she started walking away, Paulina scowling as a loser walked by and Star stopped them when they started walkig further away from the popular girls. Talking quietly and quickly, she relayed what Dash had said, causing the nerd to nod and answer. Parting ways, Star rejoined Paulina after saying kindly, "Spread the word, Mikey. But only between our class."
Mikey nodded and went away as the bell rang throughout the school, finding the next person to talk to as Paulina stared at her satellite.
Harry
Everyone in Transfiguration kept staring at the three students as they tried to get through the first lesson of the day, ignoring the stares and whispers of their fellow students. As the bell rang for the next torture session, aka Potions with the Slytherins, they looked at each other and sighed sadly.
Sam Manson had seemed like she wanted to help, and had even caught up to them as they walked through the empty halls, not really making conversation before she had run up and said that she and everyone from Amity would be willing to help them. The three hadn't seen any Americans during that first hour, nor had they heard Peeves making trouble as they noted their homework, packed up their books, parchment, ink wells and quills and made to leave the room before everyone else had even put the lids in their ink.
Keeping their heads down as they walked out of the door, they never saw the teen running down the hall, both parties tripping over each other and falling onto the floor, the person shouting, "OW!"
Looking up as he pushed his glasses back up his nose, Harry noticed that Tucker Foley was running his hand on the floor, looking for something. Looking around and picking up a pair of glasses, Hermione helped the African-American up and handed the boy's glasses back, smiling when he put them back on and stumbled back in surprise as he focused on them all. Looking back, he pulled them to one side and asked, "You haven't seen Danny or Jazz, have you?"
"Been in class. Why?" The witch answered, looking down the hall as Tucker pouted slightly and made a face before he breathed heavily and replied, "They said that they'd head back in and talk to your Headmaster about something."
"What about?"
Tucker hesitated as he looked around and shook his head before he said, "Dash Baxter will be talking to the others today. We're gonna try and get you out of trouble. All three of you."
At the change of subject, Tucker walked away from them as the rest of the class finally exploded into activity, causing the three Gryffindors to walk quickly away from the Transfiguration room as an American came running by, serious look on their face. Going on their way with the rest of their year, Harry, Ron and Hermione never noticed Peeves floating high above, evil grin on his face as he watched them going through their day.
And that's all folks.
Again with this chapter, it just took a while to get out. I literally cannot think right now, but I'll get back on track in the next chapter. Hopefully.
