Harry slipped into bed and pulled Minerva close to him. She smiled as she nestled into him. He was always so hands on with her and she loved it. She had spent decades keeping others at a distance and it was a nice change to be held so close again. "The wee ones all tucked in," she asked him.
"They are," he confirmed. "Kreacher is on stand-by though."
"He is rather suprising with them," she commented as she thought of the once hateful house elf from Grimmauld Place.
Harry nodded his head. "He had been exposed to a Horcrux for decades," Harry admitted. "It's amazing he managed to bounce back at all."
Minerva knew Kreacher's story but it still amazed her to see him with the children. He was gentle, patient, and oh so loving towards them. "I wish he hadn't suffered so," she added. "Kreacher is a wonderful house elf and its a shame the Black Family didn't see him that way."
"I have debated on asking Teddy and Andromeda over to meet Kreacher," Harry said. "I listed Teddy as the Black heir. It's his birthright."
Minerva smiled happily at him. "You are a good man Harry Potter," she whispered before drawing his lips to hers in a passionate kiss. "Others would keep the Black fortune for themselves but you are determined to see the rightful heir get it. Its rather lovely to see such honesty."
"MinaLove," he whispered before claiming her lips again. "I love you," he whispered as he tugged her nightgown off and proceeded to make love to his wife.
Andromeda Tonks and little Teddy Lupin arrived at Grimmauld Place for lunch. It was obvious Andromeda was nervous to be back on a Black property once again. She hadn't stepped foot on Black property since her disownment and had swore never to again but Harry's request had suprised her. She had read all about his surprise marriage to Minerva McGonagall and their announcement of twins. She wanted to hear what the newly established family man had to say.
Harry greeted her at the door and immediately relieved her of Teddy. The baby seemed content in his Godfather's arms so she said nothing. She greeted Minerva kindly and was suprised when Kreacher popped in front of her and hugged her legs tightly. He sobbed uncontrollably as she awkwardly patted his head and looked at Harry in question. "Kreacher," Harry said. "Would you mind getting us a tea tray?"
"Yes Master Harry," Kreacher said emotionally as he popped away.
"Kreacher had long-term exposure to one of Voldemort's Horcuxes," Harry explained. From Andromeda's gasp she knew what a Horcrux was and he was grateful he didn't need to explain that. "He is adjusting to the horrible thoughts and actions that foul magic forced him to do. He has mopped around for a few months but has seemed to come around now that the twins are here."
"Kreacher always did enjoy children," she said as she thought on her childhood. The house elf used to dote on her and her sisters.
"Kreacher was particularly devastated when he realized how he treated Sirius and Dora," Minerva volunteered. "The Horcux forced him to go against everything he held dear."
"Kreacher was not strong enough to fight bad magic," the house elf said. "Kreacher treated his Master bad. Kreacher treated daughter of House Black bad too."
"Now is your chance to make up for that," Harry said kindly to the distraught elf. "Teddy is the heir to House Black and you will be in charge of his safety from now on. I still expect you to keep up Grimmauld Place but Teddy will be your focus."
Andromeda gasped in shock as she stared at him. "You have twins," she whispered in disbelief. "They could have a House each."
"House Black is Teddy's birthright," justified Harry with a shrug of his shoulders. "I may have Black blood running through my veins but not as strong as you and Teddy. I have reclaimed you as a Daughter of House Black."
Suprise showed on her face as she looked at Harry. "You brought me back into the family?"
"I most certainly did," Harry said with a grin. "You should of never been disowned to begin with. Anyways, Jasmine is listed as secondary heir in case we can't get the laws regarding werewolves revamped in time."
"He's serious," Andromeda whispered to Minerva.
Minerva smiled and nodded her head. "Remus was the last of his family to pass on. He will move mountains to ensure Teddy is taken care of."
"What do you need help with," Andromeda asked a few minutes later.
Harry grinned at her. "A crash course in Pureblood upbringing and politics for me. I was kind of hoping you would take over heir training for all three kids while Minerva and I are working." Andromeda laughed but agreed all the same.
"We would also like to treat Teddy like an older sibling to the twins," Minerva commented. Andromeda couldn't find words for that and merely hugged her former teacher in gratitude. She feared Teddy would grow up lonely but now she didn't have to worry about that.
"Did we mention that Teddy will have a bedroom in every house we live in so that he can stay when he wants?" Harry asked with a crooked grin. "We figured you would like a night or two to yourself at some point as well."
