Hello hello! I bring to you another offering in the form of yuri goodness, although I must admit this one isn't as romantically defined as some of the other ones, but I think that's fine. This was honestly one of my favorite ones to write, I think I took a pretty interesting approach to some of the world-building and relationships, and I hope you all enjoy reading it as much as I did writing it! And yes, to the astute reader, the title is a reference. How smart of you.

Synopsis- Neptune has a great idea while the Planeptune and Lastation sisters plan on going on some questing, leading to the older sisters having to show what they got.
"Neptune! Come on! We have to go out today. We promised Miss Noire, and Uni that we would help them with their quests!" Nepgear lectured for what felt like the billionth time. It was one thing if Neptune wanted to shirk her duties if she was pushing it off on her. But this was inconveniencing Noire and Uni! She would not stand for it; she would get Neptune out there if she had to drag her there herself!
"Argghhh maaaaaaan those two loners can handle it themselves! C'mooon it's sooo hottt I'll melt like an adorable Nep shaped snowman…" Neptune tried to weasel her way out of the needless grind. It wasn't as though she didn't want to see her friend, this was far from the case. But every time she thought about going out and hunting monsters her very soul felt crushed. And besides, it was like a billion degrees out!
"Don't talk about them like that when they aren't here to defend themselves! Now get up!" Nepgear yelled as she yanked on Neptune's arm, dragging her up, with her hands on her hip, Nepgear spoke firmly, with finality, "We are going to help them. And that's that"
"Fiiiiine" Neptune gave a weak salute as the begrudgingly took off in tow with her sister, the two eventually making their way to Lastation, to join their friends for the day.
Tapping her foot in mild annoyance, Noire wore her emotions with barely an attempt to hide it,
"I've come to expect a certain level of jackassery from her but come on…" She grumbled under her breath, and Uni couldn't help but chuckle nervously,
"Nepgear texted me a little while ago… It took her longer than she thought to get Neptune out of the basilicom, so they'll be a little late haha" Uni explained, and she could see a twitch in her older sister's forehead,
"I can't believe I used to respect her…" She grumbled even more annoyed, and Uni couldn't help but think a little into the words. Despite how often the two fought, and it was often, Uni couldn't help but think; Noire did seem to hold quite a lot of respect for the purple-haired goddess. She spoke very highly of her abilities and seemed very confident in the fact she could trust her.
Uni couldn't say she understood it. It was odd, despite being a CPU, a full goddess, above Uni in every technical way she could think of. Uni couldn't say she respected the CPU. She was lazy. She was inattentive. She pushed things off on others. Planeptune was hardly a country she paid mind to. She was the perfect example of what not to be. Hell, Uni respected Nepgear a helluva lot more than she respected Neptune.
In the course of her thought process, it appeared, the very CPU was landing next to the sisters from Lastation. As the duo from Planeptune landed, reassuming their human forms, Noire soon scoffed, hands on her hip,
"Took ya long enough" Bringing her hand from her hip to flick it through her intricate hair ties, she glared at her fellow CPU, who only chuckled mischievously.
"And yet, here you are, waiting patiently for me in the scorching heat… huehue, were you so excited to see your best buddy that you got here early in the morning to prepare yourself?" Neptune did her usual routine, with Noire, expectedly blushing in embarrassment (but not because she totally did get there more than an hour early so, she could wait for her friend).
Electing to ignore their sisters' usual banter, Uni and Nepgear exchanged pleasantries, for a few minutes that's where the group found themselves, before Noire appeared she had finally had enough of Neptune's teasing,
"Seriously. We're here to do quests. If you're here just to make fun of me, go back to Planeptune" She huffed, and Neptune eventually chuckled,
"Ok ok" She offered, and eventually Noire nodded,
"Ok, so we have a lot of ground to cover, we should probably split up, wanna do our usual groups?" She asked absentmindedly, expecting the usual agreement among the group. Except, this time, Neptune pondered a bit before speaking up.
"Y'know what, how about we mix it up? I'll take Ol' Nowa Jr with me, and you take Nepgear with you. Never could hurt to know each other better, right?" Neptune offered, and Noire considered it for a moment, smiling a bit,
"That's… actually a good idea. For once Neptune, I'm in agreement. What do you two say?" Noire looked over to the two candidates, who exchanged a look with one another, before eventually speaking up,
"Sure"
"Sounds fun"
Uni, then Nepgear responded. This sure was one way to shake up what would likely be a mundane mindless grind. And it would also be a good opportunity to observe another goddess in action.
"Yeaa! I get to play with mini-Nowa today" Neptune jovially bounced over to Uni, who soon shot her a look,
"We're not here to play. Take this seriously." Uni lectured, and, across the way, Noire couldn't help but notice Uni's tone dripped with condescension. Noire softly chuckled to herself, normally she'd lecture Uni for her lack of respect for a fellow goddess. But, she figured, Neptune earned it. As she looked back over, she saw that Neptune didn't seem to notice, or, more accurately, Noire supposed, she was pretending she didn't. Noire figured Uni had to learn a lesson the hard way.
"Alright. Nepgear!" Noire ordered, and soon she saw the sailor dress-adorned goddess candidate standing in front of her. The nerves were clearly evident on her face. Giving her a smile, Noire spoke again,
"C'mon, I'm not that scary. Let's get to it, shall we?" She spoke gently, and soon Nepgear nodded, as the two made their way into the area of their quests today. One of Lastations dense forests, in desperate need of the monster populations to be checked.
Back in the opening, Uni was mentally preparing herself for the day. Noire had experience in dealing with Neptune, but Uni wasn't sure she would be able to keep Neptune focused on the task for long enough, with a sigh, she looked over to the CPU, preparing to speak. But, to her surprise, it was not her voice she heard, instead, it was that of her partner for the day,
"Alright, Uni. Whadya say, should we get to it?" Neptune looked at the candidate she was entrusted with for the day, as she was stretching, preparing her body for the day ahead. Uni, who gave her a nod, as the two made their way into the forest as well, making sure to go in a different direction than the other group had gone.
As the two made their way into the forest, Uni took her usual position, as she would whenever she went with Nepgear. She figured, with both the Nepsisters employing a type of sword, their fighting styles would be similar enough, and that Uni could provide support in the way she usually did.
And, she figured, her support would be needed today. Neptune was certainly the type to not pay attention. Uni might be needed to watch the goddess blindside, with a sigh, Uni prepared herself for what surely was going to be a long day.
But… as she found the time passing by. She noticed she had yet to fire a single shot. She could only stare through her lens in amazement. Neptune had dispatched every single mob with a single stroke of her massive blade. Truth be told, Uni didn't even know how she swung that thing around like she did, the sword had to outweigh her by at least 50 pounds! But there she was, without any wasted movement, she swung her massive blade, dispatching every single mob in the vicinity with ease.
Not even Noire could say she could accomplish feats like this. Sure, Noire was about as good as it got. But the raw power Neptune exacerbated was just ridiculous! Her finesse wasn't to the level of Noire. But that was to be expected with the difference in style and weapon choice between the two. The rapier required precision and skill in order to overwhelm the opponent's defenses. While Neptune preferred the great sword, whose raw power would do the trick. Although, Uni noticed, that it wasn't as though the CPU lacked finesse, the accuracy behind her strikes was remarkable. Was this really Neptune?
In the back of her mind. Uni could feel her competitive urge digging itself up. She couldn't let Neptune show her up. That Neptune? Impossible. Nodding to herself, Uni did everything in her power to find monsters as they appeared, making her shots as quickly as possible. Yet. Only a few of them hit their mark. Not only was Uni missing a few of her shots, but Neptune was simply ravaging the enemy forces.
Uni clenched her teeth as she willed her body to go faster. Analyze faster. Shoot faster. Move faster. But, out of the corner of her eye, she could still see Neptune at it. With her back turned to her, she continued her rampage. In her limited view of the CPU, she could see her launch something in Uni's direction, looking better at it, she could see a 16-bit sword from Neptune's skill quickly closing ground on her. Flinching, Uni only opened her eyes when she heard the familiar sound of a monster dissipating into pixels.
Looking up, she saw that she had missed a punk cat, who had managed to sneak up on her blindside.
Baffled, Uni took her eye out of her scope. Neptune had managed to spot and accurately destroy a monster that had closed the distance on Uni. Without even looking.
"You gotta look out Uni. If you don't, they'll get a back attack! They'll get to go first, and who knows what these icky monsters want with our hot bods!" Neptune lectured as she finished up the rest of the monsters in the area. Wiping her brow, she turned to face the candidate. Who could only look on awestruck. "Woah. Gamindustri to mini tsun… ya there?" Neptune waved her hand in front of Uni, who eventually snapped out of it,
"That… was amazing M-Miss Neptune" Uni said in amazement,
"Aww shucks… I can't look bad in front of Nep Jr's buddy, now, can I?" Neptune scratched her head, as she explained.
Uni considered for another moment the thoughts that had run through her head earlier. Now, she couldn't help but feel embarrassed. This was Neptune in front of her. CPU Purple Heart. Earlier, she had considered that perhaps she trusted herself more. How foolish.
In all her time she had been sparring with Nepgear, very rarely would their sisters take turns of their own. But on a few occasions, it happened, and Uni could remember those distinctly. Those were the only times she had ever seen Noire lose.
At the time, she had considered it had been because of a slip-up, a mistake on Noire's part. That, perhaps, she had held back on her friend, and that Neptune had simply taken advantage of it. But now, she knew better. Neptune was that good. There was a reason Noire respected her. Despite how she would act on most days. Noire still respected her. In shame, Uni let her head hang, as she bowed to the CPU in front of her, who looked at her with a peculiar glance,
"I'm sorry Miss Neptune!" Uni feverishly apologized. She only looked up when she felt a hand place itself atop her head,
"Well, hey now, no need to get all formal on me. How bouts we take a break?" Neptune offered with a brilliant smile on her face, as she offered Uni a bottle of water she had in her inventory, as the duo sat down, Neptune quickly drank her water, enjoying the cooling liquid on a day so hot.
Eventually, Neptune laid her back on a nearby tree, as she looked over to Uni, eventually starting up, "Say, what're you apologizing for anyhow? Shouldn't it be me apologizing? I mean, I was late 'n all. Surprised Noire didn't wring me out for that" Neptune explained, her tone a bit more serious than it usually was.
Looking down, Uni couldn't help but feel embarrassed. Eventually, she summoned her will as she explained, "I'm sorry Miss Neptune, because… I underestimated you. I thought you were lazy, and I found it very hard to believe that Sis respects you as much as she does… I didn't look at you like a goddess…" as she looked over to the CPU, she expected her to be angry with her. But instead. All she could see on her face was a calm, gentle smile.
"It's ok Uni." Letting out a deep sigh, Neptune stood up as she dusted herself off, "Y'know. Me 'n Nowa planned this all out" Neptune explained, and Uni looked at her, perplexed.
"Yea, I remember her saying she was going to call you and ask you to come over to help" Uni explained, and Neptune just shook her head as she made her way over,
"Not that… I mean we planned everything out. From me being late, to me suggesting that we use different groups, everything." Uni seemed baffled by this revelation, but still, Neptune continued. "See, me and Noire were thinking recently. And we both came to realize that you and Nepgear still have quite a bit of growth to do. Not only with your skills. But how you look at people, and how you judge them. See, I kinda figured you thought I was some no-good lazy goddess, and I don't blame you, really. But I want you to know that we are all here for a reason." Neptune explained, and Uni looked on in shock.
For a few minutes, she couldn't say anything, still processing all that she had seen today. Eventually, she let out a wry laugh as she spoke, "Y'know, you really are impressive Miss Neptune. I've never seen anything like that. Where did you learn to be strong like that?" Uni asked in amazement, and to her surprise, she saw as Neptune's smile vanished, for but a moment, before returning as she explained.
"Hmm… Perhaps you deserve to know. I'm sure you've heard about it by now. But before you were born, Me, Noire, Blanc, and Vert we…. really weren't on good terms. We fought constantly- and not the petty bickering we do now. We fought each other. I had to become strong. I had to protect my people, it's all I could do. All I ever wanted was to protect the peace of Planeptune. I never even wanted to fight… but there was nothing I could do" Neptune explained gravely, this was the chapter of her life she wished she could just forget. Although she supposed, she had no choice. She truly was who she was today because of what had shaped her then.
"The battles were vicious. They were fighting to kill. I… I'm sure there were a few opportunities I could have taken to… y'know… finish the job. But that's not what I wanted." Uni felt a pit in her stomach as she listened intently to everything Neptune had to say. Sure, she had heard stories of the console war from history books she had read. But every time she had asked Noire about it, she refused to tell her, "But… thankfully. You little sisters were born. And only then was I able to convince Noire and Blanc that our fight was pointless, and that they had to look after you guys. Thankfully, Vert was also willing to listen for the sake of you guys, and that's how we got to where we are now" Neptune looked towards the sky reflectively,
"Y'know… it's funny… nowadays, I just play the lovable idiot. But… that's fine. All I ever wanted was my people to live a life of peace. If this is what it takes, that's fine. I don't need to win if it means I can live a peaceful everyday life." Neptune smiled, as Uni couldn't help but be amazed once more by the CPU, and the wise words she spoke. Neptune eventually looked back to the raven-haired future CPU,
"Uni?" She asked,
"Yes?"
"I'm really glad you're Nepgear's friend." Neptune spoke gratefully, as she took her turn to bow, immediately causing Uni to scramble in embarrassment,
"W-w-what are you talking about!? Don't bow to me!" Uni frantically spoke, and she could hear Neptune laugh as she eventually sat down again, looking up,
"I'm serious. It makes me happier than you could know that Nepgear has friends like you, and Rom and Ram. She… she won't have to fight for her peace. And nothing could make me happier." Neptune's face bore a genuine smile, and Uni couldn't help but feel one of her own creep on her face,
"I'm… really glad Nepgear is my friend too… She… she means so much to me" Uni spoke honestly, somehow, she just felt like, there should be no secrets between her and the CPU in front of her. Neptune couldn't help but snicker, for a moment, her nosey sister energy overtaking her,
"Hmmmm? Do I sense that Lastations second in tsuny is falling for my lovely Nep Jr?" Neptune cheekily asked, and Uni could feel her face burst into a bloom of red,
"N-no! O-o-of course not!" There was no way she could tell Neptune that… especially not after seeing her shred those monsters to smithereens so effortlessly.
"Hehehe you really are just as fun as Noire~" Neptune laughed as she hugged herself, although, before Uni could respond, Neptunes face returned back to the look it had earlier, "Say, shoot straight with me, do you love Nepgear?" Neptune asked honestly. She harbored some suspicions in her mind for a while now and was looking to confirm to herself. Really, nothing would make her happier in life then Nepgear living a peaceful life with the girl in front of her.
Uni felt her breath hitch in her throat. How on earth was she supposed to answer this…. especially since it seemed Neptune already knew the answer….
Somewhere across the forest at the same time…
"Hiya!" Noire yelled as she parried a fenir's claws, quickly rolling to her side as she thrusted with her weapon, the quickness and precision of her blows quickly defeating the monster.
"Wow, that was really impressive, Miss Noire" Nepgear complimented as she made her way next to the goddess,
"I know, right?" Noire winked as the two continued their way down the forest,
Nepgear knew Noire was as skilled as there was in gamindustri. She had seen it in the few times her and Neptune had sparred. Nepgear was one of the few people who knew fully well what Neptune was capable of, so to see Noire keep up as well as she did was impressive. But actually being with her was another thing, it was taking everything Nepgear had to even keep up with her.
Nepgear was also doing everything in her power to make sure everything she was doing was as flawless as possible. She had heard about how Noire could get… Overly critical, a hardass, a perfectionist. Nepgear didn't want to face the wrath of the CPU.
Meanwhile, Noire couldn't help but notice the obvious nerves that Nepgear was practically oozing. With a sigh, Noire couldn't help but question whether this person was actually related to Neptune. While Neptune was practically shameless, Nepgear, it appeared, was too shameful.
Putting the thoughts aside as the duo approached another monster-inhabited zone of the forest, Noire called out as she prepared her battle stance,
"Keep your guard up, Nepgear!"
"R-Right!" Nepgear responded as she too assumed her stance, drawing her beam saber as she quickly analyzed the battlefield, surveying the populations of monsters they were dealing with. Quickly spotting a group of squirrel cats that needed to be dispatched of quickly, lest they use their large area spells to quickly damage the goddess.
Nodding to herself as she decided on a course of action, Nepgear planted hard as she readied herself to dash into the fray; only to feel her ankle turn on one of the small ditches she had failed to notice,
"Ouch!" She yelled out in pain as she felt her body crumple to the ground. Looking up to see the group of monsters quickly approaching her. Attempting to stand up again, Nepgear quickly found the pain in her ankle too great to bear any weight, Nepgear clenched her eyes as she prepared for the worst,
"Tornado Blade!" Opening her eyes, Nepgear could see the brilliant skill performed by the CPU as she quickly came to the rescue,
"Nepgear! Are you ok?" She quickly asked for a status report, and Nepgear soon obliged,
"My ankle is twisted, I can't put any pressure on it," She explained, and Noire soon clicked her tongue in seeming annoyance,
"Get yourself as far away as possible while I finish these small fries off!" She ordered, and Nepgear gravely nodded as she crawled as far away as her body would let her. Propping herself up on a nearby tree, she winced as she assessed the severity of her injury, she had planted with her full force, this injury may prove to keep her out for a while.
After what couldn't have been more than a few minutes, she heard a sigh from the direction she had left, looking up to see Noire making her way over, mentally, Nepgear prepared herself for what surely was going to be a lecture that would put even Histy to shame. Although, as Noire opened her mouth to speak, Nepgear could only see worry on the face of the goddess,
"Nepgear, are you ok?" Noire asked, her voice laced with worry, shocked, Nepgear opened and closed her mouth a few times, before eventually responding,
"I-it's definitely hurt pretty bad, I won't be able to continue today…" Nepgear explained, before looking down, "I-I'm really sorry Miss Noire…" As Nepgear bowed her head, she heard what appeared to be confusion from Noire as she responded,
"You're… sorry? Nepgear, we need to worry about you. We got plenty done already, and me and Uni can come back and finish this much up later. You were a big help today; we need to worry about your health. Now, I think I should have some wrap in my bag…" Noire explained as she quickly rummaged through her medical supplies bag, eventually finding the bandaging she was looking for. Gently, she spoke again,
"Alright, Nepgear, I'm gonna wrap it now. I'm going to have to take your shoe and sock off, it might hurt a bit, ok?" Noire explained, and Nepgear nodded as she prepared herself, "Ok"
"Ngh!" Nepgear winced as she felt Noire put pressure on her injury, gritting her teeth as she felt a tear well up in her eye as Noire worked quickly, taking off her shoe and sock as she wrapped the ankle tightly. Nepgear took shaky breaths as Noire finished up.
"Ok. That's all that I can do for now. You should stay off of it for a few days, k?" Noire explained gently, and Nepgear nodded along.
For a few minutes, Noire just let the candidate catch her breath, also using the time to prepare herself, after all, she was going to have to carry her all the way back. There was no way she could let her walk on that ankle. "Alright, we should head back. I'll carry you, don't worry" She explained, and Nepgear soon waved her hands in front of her,
"T-there's no way I could ask you to do that! I'll just fly back!" Nepgear tried to explain, before feeling a thump on her forehead,
"And land on one leg? I doubt it. No complaining, I'll carry you, and then me and Neptune can fly you back to Planeptune"
"B-but!"
"No buts!" Noire harshly spoke, glaring at the single d-clip adorned goddess. Who eventually yielded, and with a nod, Norie squatted down, with Nepgear climbing onto her back.
As the two made their way back, Nepgear could only feel embarrassed by her simple mistake. If that had been a serious battle, she may have gotten herself, and Noire for that matter seriously injured. With a gulp, Nepgear spoke again,
"Miss Noire… I'm sorry" Nepgear spoke shamefully,
"Jeez. What's with you? I told you it's fine!" Noire chastised her,
"But! I… I could have gotten you seriously hurt…" Nepgear spoke softly, and she could feel Noire stop, placing her down in order to look her in the eyes, Noire spoke with a fierce determination.
"Nepgear. That is why we are here. Me and Neptune. We're here so you guys can make mistakes. So you can learn. We're not asking you to be perfect. We're not even perfect. We make mistakes, we all do. But, us goddesses are here so you guys can make mistakes while you learn." Noire explained as she looked Nepgear in the eyes, who could only feel amazed by the wisdom in the words, with a smile Nepgear looked back at her,
"You know, Miss Noire. I'm a bit surprised, I didn't think you were this… well I don't know…" Nepgear trailed off at the end as she realized what she was saying,
"I'm what?" Noire glanced at her with her eyes as slants,
"Uhmm uhhh…" Nepegar looked around before realizing, there was no way out for her, "Not as much a… hardass" Nepgear whispered the last word, poking her fingers together, before hearing a snicker from the goddess to her surprise Nepgear looked up to see Noire chuckling.
"Goddamnit Neptune…" Noire laughed, before sitting down next to Nepgear, "I just… I know how you could think that. I… I know I'm too hard on Uni. I just want the best for her. She means so much to me, and I want her to be ready when she takes over for me. I… I wasn't ready when I took over. I was arrogant beyond belief. Self-righteous to a fault. So hot-headed it would make Blanc blush…" Noire reflective spoke, and Nepgear seemed fascinated by the way in which she heard the goddess speaking. Never in her life had she known Noire to be this self-reflective, and so she kept her mouth shut, and let her continue as long as she wanted, absorbing all the wisdom she could from the words.
"When I was born, Neptune and Blanc had already been around for a few years. I saw them as enemies, threats, obstacles in the way of Lastsations deserved domination. The way we fought… I never want to do that again. But Neptune… I always looked up to her in a strange way. Even if I viewed her as nothing more than something for me to crush…" Noire gritted her teeth as she explained the worst chapter of her life, taking a deep breath before continuing, "I always respected her abilities. The gallant Purple Heart was something else to behold"
"Sis…? Fighting like that?" Nepgear broke the silence as she pondered aloud, she had heard mentions of a supposed war that had taken place before her birth. But nowhere in her mind could she picture her sister taking place in those battles. It seemed unthinkable, yet as she spoke Noire chuckled, before sighing as she continued
"She was better than me. In almost every way. There wasn't a day that went by that it didn't frustrate me to no end. I would challenge her every time I could get my body to move. And yet, nearly every time she would best me. I remember it like it was yesterday… After defeating me I asked her why she didn't just kill me, and you know what she said?"
Nepgear gulped. Something about this whole idea seemed… impossible, "Sis would never… do that" Nepgear seemed out of it, and she only could look to Noire in confusion, before she could see a wry smile on her face,
"She said, 'because you're my friend Black Heart, this fight is pointless. I'm sure you'll see that someday. And I'll be waiting for you then'" Noire explained, and Nepgear could feel her smile work its way back onto her face. That sounded more like her sister, "Of course, I told her… well I'm not gonna repeat that. But… those words, they always stuck with me. It was a few months later you were born, and then a few months later, Uni was. And that's when Neptune's words finally resonated with me, it really was a pointless war." Noire scoffed at her own past foolishness, before shaking her head,
"That's why I need to make sure Uni is as ready as possible. So, she doesn't make those same foolish mistakes I did." Nepgear could only feel astonished by the wisdom, and kindness in her words. Before she could respond, she saw Noire crouch down in front of her again, imploring her to once more climb atop, as she did so and they got moving again, Noire spoke again,
"You know… I'm really glad you are Uni's friend. I remember before I, and the rest of the CPUs, and I guess you, I suppose, got trapped in that graveyard for 3 years Uni… she reminded me of myself. Too prideful, arrogant, and refusing to let others help her. But when you candidates came to rescue us, I could tell immediately, that she had grown. And when Kei told me about you… I… I guess I never really took the chance to thank you. But thank you Nepgear, truly" Noire spoke with as much humility as Nepgear ever heard from her, and she couldn't help but smile,
"You don't have to thank me. I'm really glad I met Uni too. She means so much to me. If there's ever someone I need to rely on, I know I can call on her." Nepgear explained as she thought about her best friend,
"That makes me happy to hear. That Uni won't have to go through what I did" Noire responded, a genuine smile on her face. Before she felt something deep within her burn. Somewhere she knew she had the right, nay the obligation, to ask, as any older sister should, "Say, Nepgear, do you l-love Uni?"
As soon as the words left Noires mouth, Nepgear felt her mind go blank, as her hold on Noire came loose, falling backward onto the ground, she waved her hands in front of her,
"W-what! M-m-mee and Uni are not like that!"
For a moment, Noire made a mental note to apologize to Neptune, this was fun. With a cheeky grin, Noire looked at the candidate on the ground, "Oooooohh? Is that really it?"
Nepgear could feel her burning cheeks grow hotter and hotter as the CPU descended upon her. There was no way she was going to get out of this.
Hey hey, you made it to the end of another one, I'll get right into the reviews this time,
Gigarot- I do wonder if Idea Factory will ever have the balls to actually promote the candidates to full goddesses... if they do, I certainly wouldn't complain if it played out like that. I figured the Candidates as new goddesses would need someone to lean on, so I figured they would call the oracles back to help. Also yes, I think it was very sweet to add that little closure paragraph for Neptune in that one
Tony Anderson- Thank you very much! Means a lot to me! I'm just a goofy ass college student who writes so he himself can read stories he likes, so it means a lot to hear other people actually enjoy my nonsense, and I hope you enjoy what I will have for the future!
emd5- thank you, I thought it was an interesting way to handle an aged-up Uni and Nepgear.
