Ok, so im remaking this for my page ill still be doing the other one but it will be different from before. It's kinda like a rewrite but just for my page

Episode 1: Vesper

I always loved stories about people saving the day love from others. Something that made reality something just unique. So when I died my story ended but I wrote it in a book. Don't ask me how my old memory is still intact, because I don't know.

When I started out in life, I was young and innocent, but as I grew I was bullied on the bus for being different and day after day I felt worthless. These kids took away my strength and they felt stronger because of it.

What people don't realize the more you push the more people want to fight back but they feel so hopeless and sometimes they take it back by helping the bullying along. That's what Dillon did to me. He hurt me deeply but I survived by listening to music. It helped me alot. I was still scared but I felt safer. This happens on a bus. I remember them saying words aren't bullying, but they are they hurt and can cause so much pain and anger.

I always wanted revenge on them. I wanted so much to hurt them. The adults in my life failed me so many times the ones on the bus, the ones in school, maybe that's why I wanted to take it into my own hands. But it didn't help when I hit a kid it didn't solve my problems it made it worse I got into trouble.

There was a girl named Page who turned all of my so-called friends away from me so I felt like excluding someone who took her side. Charles, she hurt me and that's why I hated him. So our games became something else. Something without him. But it didn't change anything Page was still mean and only my favorite club helped my getaway.

There were some teachers that helped. Miss Wendy, she was nice. She knew just what to say. Mr. August, a great history teacher who always made it fun to learn. Mrs. Brisby, who never gave up on me even when I was difficult. There were two more but it's better I don't say. I've had some pretty great teachers and a great life after them. They saved me in more ways than one.

So I'm grateful. I'm grateful to my mom, my teachers, and even my dad who've supported me even when I took things out on them and even when I don't show it but I love them so much.

But the person who brought me out of that life by Allison who I was visiting now.

Hours later

"Hey, Marissa," said Allison with a smile.

"Hey, Allie, look what I got." She held a dvd.

"Cool!" Allison happily said. "Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug and Cat Noir. Hidden Secrets? What's that?"

"No clue but it should be fun." Marissa remarked with a smile.

"Do you think maybe it has footage that wasn't in the final cut?" Allison asked. And then she gasped. "Do you think it has nudity?!"

"I don't know, would you dislike it if it did?" Marissa remarked. "Oh there's a mini quiz at the beginning it lets you decide your life."

"Cool!" Allison happily said. "And, to answer your question, no. I actually wouldn't mind seeing that. There's a few characters I wouldn't mind seeing half or completely naked."

"Oh?" Marissa smirked. "Who might that be?" Marissa said, playing the disk.

"Nathaniel of course," Allison answered, cheeks red.

First question: how many are taking the quiz.

1 or 2.

"2." Marissa said, pushing the button.

"What about you? Do you have any Miraculous crushes?" Allison curiously asked.

"I like a lot of guys but Marc's very cute now let's answer the questions." Marissa said.

"Okay," said Allison. "Question 2: What age would you like to be?"

"15 definitely."

"Same age," said Allison.

"How old are you anyway?" Marissa remarked. "I never asked your age."

"I thought I said, but okay. I'm 27," said Allison.

"Hum you're older than me neet."

"Yeah. But it would be cool to be the same age," said Allison with a smile.

"True." Marissa said in a gentle tone.

Question 3: if you could be anyone's sibling who's siblings would you want to be.

"I guess I wouldn't mind being Chloe's sister through Andre," said Allison. And then she smiled. "Then I could ruin her plans every chance I get."

"I'd love to be Adrien's sister maybe I should be a few months younger than him that would be cool. Be the missing sister or such." Marissa smiled.

"That sounds perfect for you," said Allison. "On second thought, make my answer Marinette. I know my comment before, but I think I'd rather be her sister than her girlfriend."

"Alright." Marissa said as she locked into the answers.

Then the tv glowed. And they disappeared from the place they were then.

-Ladybug's world-

The girls opened their eyes and looked around. The landscape looked an awful lot like Paris, except everything was CGI.

"Oh my god," said Allison. And then she looked at Marissa. "Mari? Is that you?"

Marissa groined. "Yeah why?" She looked at herself for. A long second she noticed her normally strawberry blonde hair was more Adrien's hair colour, maybe a bit blonder. She was skinnier than normal and had a brilliant green eyes and looked a lot like amila. Her black top that was sleeveless reached perfectly towards her neck and long blue pants and heals made her look do modal like.

"You look like a younger Emilie Agreste," said Allison. And then she looked at herself. "And me? What happened to me?"

Allison now looked a lot like Marinette, only her hair was longer, darker, and in a low ponytail. She wore a green shirt with elbow length sleeves, a white collar that exposed her shoulders, long light blue pants that ended above her ankles and black flats.

"Ok this is concerning." Marissa bit her nail.

"Okay, we can figure this out," said Allison. "Maybe we're both dreaming?"

"Uh?" Marissa rubbed her head. She pinched her cheek. "Nope not dreaming."

Allison pulled her own hair. "Ow! Me neither. But….. how is this possible?!"

"Are you two girls lost or something?" A police officer asked them.

Marissa thought of something. "Ah well this nice girl rescued me from a crazy guy who kidnapped me but I don't know where my parents are."

"No problem, miss. I'll help you," said the officer. "Come with me to the police station and I'll look up your information. Your name might help."

"Marissa."

"Okay, let's go, Marissa," said the officer. "And your friend can come too. She deserves to be rewarded."

"Her last name's Dupain-Cheng. And you're right."

"Funny coincidence, there's a bakery here run by a couple of that name," said the officer.

"Could you take me there?" Allison asked. "I think that's my family."

"Very funny," he said. "I've only seen them with one daughter."

"She's her sister." Marissa clarified.

"Just take me. They can clear up the misunderstanding," said Allison.

"Okay," he said as he got both girls in his car.

They drove to the police station immediately and both girls' prints were taken. The officer called the couple and asked them to come to the station. At the same time, they received the information on Marissa that was shocking.

"Well, miss, Mr. Dupain is on his way to confirm your story. And Marissa, we've located your family," said the officer. "Marissa, you're the missing daughter of the Agreste family."

"Makes sense." Marissa said. "I remember I was kidnapped young."

"Well, your father is being contacted," said the officer. And then he saw a man enter. "Speak of the devil. Tom! Over here!"

"Hey, Roger. You said something about a girl saying she's my daughter," said the man. Allison stood up and Tom's eyes lit up. "Allie?"

"Hi," she said with a smile.

"Wait, you have two daughters?" Roger asked.

"Yes! You've met her! This is Allison, Marinette's sister," Tom clarified.

"I was abroad for a while." Allison explained.

"Oh!" Roger said. "Sorry! You two look so similar I keep forgetting there's two of you."

"We weren't expecting you back until next week," said Tom.

"Well I kinda got expelled after I found out one of my teachers was holding a girl hostage and I hit them."

"Is this the hostage?" Tom asked, referring to Marissa.

"Yes he kept me locked away in his basement for 7 years."

"When I found out, he expelled me to keep me quiet," said Allison. "But I broke into his house and got her out."

"And you hit him." Marissa remarked.

"I made sure to leave evidence at the police station there, so it's all good," said Allison. "But I didn't want Marissa to be away from her family any longer, so I asked uncle Cheng to get us both tickets home."

"Well, I'm glad you're back. And I'm proud of you," said Tom. "If you want, we can stay with Marissa until her father picks her up."

"That sounds nice. What do you think, Mari?" Allison asked.

"I'd like that thank you." Marissa smiled.

"You two stay here while I call your mom," said Tom, and then he took out his phone. "Hey, honey, guess what, Allie's home early. Well, it's actually kinda crazy."

"You did a great thing, Miss Dupain-Cheng," said Roger.

"I only did what was right," said Allison.

Marissa smiled happily. As her father talked on the phone the girls enjoyed themselves.

-Agreste Mansion-

Nathalie was working at her desk when the phone rang. She picked it up and spoke with the police. Once she got the information, she got up and went to Gabriel.

"Sir, it's the police station," said Nathalie. "Your daughter has been found."

Gabriel looked shocked. He swiftly turned. "Is he sure it's her?"

"They said they're sure. She looks a lot like Adrien and they got sample fingerprints to double cheek." Nathalie said in a neutral tone. "They were a match. You can do a DNA test, but they're certain that this is Marissa."

"Inform the officer that I'm on my way. I'm going to the station to get her," said Gabriel.

"The officer said she's staying at the Dupain-Cheng residence. They said the sister of the other girl found and saved her."

"Oh. I had no idea they had another daughter," said Gabriel. "Well, no matter, I will thank the family personally. In fact, Adrien should see her too. Where is he?"

"Fencing practice at the school. And the school is right next to the bakery," said Nathalie.

"Good. Get the car ready," said Gabriel.

Nathalie nodded and left to get the car.

The bakery

Marissa was reading as she read through the book. As Allison talked to Marinette.

"I'm so glad you're back, Allie," she said as she hugged her.

"Me too. I'm so happy to be back, Nettie," said Allison. "And I learned so much to help with the bakery."

"That's good," said Marinette. And then she took her hand. "How about we get you unpacked in our room?"

"Okay," said Allison as she got her bags and carried them upstairs.

Marissa looked curious about that.

Allison started putting her stuff away and saw Marinette's collage of Adrien photos. She started laughing.

"I didn't realize you had it this bad," Allison said.

Marinette blushed. "He's really nice."

"So you've told me through our calls," said Allison. And then she found a small red doll on the table. "Aww. This is cute. Is it yours?"

"Yeah I made it." Marinate smiled.

"So have you asked him out?" Marissa remarked, already knowing the answer.

Marinette stiffened. "Uh, how much did you hear?"

"Enough to know you like my brother." Marissa turned the page.

Marinette giggled sheepishly and asked, "You're not bothered by that, are you?"

"No. Why would I be?"

"Well, your family's rich and I'm, well, not," said Marinette.

"Personally, your sister saved me so it doesn't matter to me but I can't say that means you got a shot with him unless you actually ask him out." Marissa said bluntly.

Marinette groaned and said, "I know. But every time I try to talk to him, I end up stuttering, messing up my words, or falling over. I've even tried planning out the right moment to confess, but even those plans often backfire."

"This could be a chance to actually talk to him. Right, Mari?" Allison asked. "Marissa asked me to call her that, sis."

"Okay," said Marinette.

Marissa nodded.

Marinette's mother poked her head in and said, "Marissa, your father's assistant called. She said that she's going to have your brother come here to meet you and then you'll both be picked up to go home."

"Very well. It's very telling that he's not meeting me himself." Marissa coldly remarked.

"Well, the school is basically next door," Allison pointed out.

"Plus, Gabriel Agreste became a bit of a homebody about a year ago," said Marinette, sighing sadly.

"That's not an excuse." She got up and left for the bathroom.

"Mari," Allison sadly said.

Sabine looked really sad. "That poor girl. She's been through so much. Her father should be picking her up."

"I agree mom," said Marinette.

Sabine went to the bathroom door and said, "I'll leave a cup of tea on the table for you."

Marissa just ignored her. She understood Gabriel was acting this way because he was Hawkmoth and his wife was in a coma but that didn't give him a right to ignore her. She has been missing and he didn't come himself; he was an idiot.

She heard a knock on the door followed by a voice. "Marissa? Is it really you?" A boy's voice asked. "It's me, Adrien. Do you remember me? Your brother?"

She opened the door. "Yeah I remember." She rubbed her eyes which was filled with tears.

Adrien hugged her immediately. "I missed you."

She hugged him back. "Thank you."

"I'm so sorry that it took so long for us to reunite. But I'm here now," said Adrien.

She smiled. "Thank you. I wish father was here." She frowned and became slightly angry.

"Me too," said Adrien. The Dupain-Cheng sisters came into view and Adrien smiled. "Thank you for bringing my sister back to me."

"It was really my sister who did it. I didn't really do anything," said Marinette.

"Thank you," said Adrien to Allison. "How can I repay you?"

Allison smiled and said, "You can go out with my sister."

"What?" Adrien asked.

"She asked you to date her sister Marinette likes you."

Adrien blinked. And then he laughed and said, "Wow, Marinette, your sister sure is funny. Where'd she get that idea?"

"Well…. I…. Er…. Photos," Marinette said nervously. "I have photos. From your ads. I like fashion."

"She's not joking." Marissa remarked. "You can't be oblivious."

"Sis, we're friends," said Adrien.

"Oh my god Adrien she likes you. She stutters when she talked about it. She's lying she likes you." Marissa rubbed her forehead.

Adrien looked surprised and then looked at Marinette. Marinette looked really nervous. Allison took her hand and helped her calm down. It seemed to work as she looked at Adrien and spoke clearly.

"Yes. I like you. I like like you," said Marinette. "I love you, Adrien!"

Adrien looked shocked by the declaration. He seemed unsure how to respond. That was when Nathalie appeared with Tom.

"Adrien, Marissa, your ride is here," said Tom.

"Oh and let me guess dad's not here." Marissa angrily remarked.

"Who cares? He'll be at home. Thanks, Nathalie! Let's go!" Adrien quickly said as he left.

Marissa waves bye and leaves. She went downstairs and got into the car. Adrien was as red as a tomato. Nathalie thanked the family and got in as well. The car drove away and Nathalie broke the silence.

"That girl in pink looked sad when I left. And the one in green blurted out that Adrien was a jerk," she said. "Adrien, did you have a fight?"

"It's nothing." Marissa said looking so unhappy.

"I didn't react right to her confession," he said. "I mean, she likes me and I….. ran."

"Oh, Adrien," Nathalie said with a sigh.

"Makes you kinda like father hum."

"What was I supposed to say? Thanks, but I like someone else?" Adrien asked.

"Tell her the truth. Show up unlike father, at least you showed up!"

"Your father was preparing something for you," said Nathalie.

"No he was being shelish I've been imprisoned for 7 years and he doesn't have the decency to show up to pick me up." She cried, feeling worthless. She couldn't do anything. He obviously didn't care about her. "He probably didn't care that I was missing."

"No. That's not true," said Nathalie, sounding different from her cold demeanor. "When you disappeared, both of your parents fell apart. They searched tirelessly for you, but to no avail. Your father buried himself in his work and your mother became even more protective of Adrien. There were at least three claims that they had found you in a month for over three years. Every one of them turned out to be false."

She rubbed her eyes and nodded. "Okay. I understand."

Nathalie looked sympathetic as she said, "I think he would love to hug you once again."

Adrien took her hand and said, "I'll be right the beside you."

She nodded. Smiling slightly. "Thank you."

The car finally arrived at the mansion and Nathalie let the kids out and led them inside. Adrien held his sister's hand as Nathlie led them to Gabriel's office. Gabriel was in there looking at Emilie's painting when Nathlie cleared her throat.

"Mr. Agreste, your daughter," she said.

Gabriel turned around and looked at the beautiful young girl in front of him. He approached her and looked at her face carefully. She looked almost exactly like Adrien and Emilie. He smiled at her.

"It is you," he said as he hugged her. "After all this time, it really is you, Marissa."

"Yeah hello, dad."

"I'm sorry for not coming," said Gabriel. "I was too afraid to tell you about your mother. I didn't want you to hate her. I would rather you were angry at me."

Marissa hugged him. "It's ok."

"I'm so happy that you're back," said Gabriel. "How about we all sit down and have a meal together?"

"For real?" Adrien asked.

"Yes. Your sister is back, we have to celebrate," said Gabriel.

Marissa nodded and they all went to eat. The meal was so luxurious, including steak, potatoes, and mixed veggies. She happily ate dinner with her family and Gabriel seemed genuinely happy.

"I wish I could avoid telling you this, but your mother disappeared a year ago," said Gabriel. "I don't know where she is or if she's okay."

"I don't understand myself," said Adrien. "But I miss her."

Marissa understood then decided something. "Adrien, you should go out with Marinette."

Gabriel paused when he was about to sip his drink. "Marinette? The girl who won the hat design contest?"

"Yeah. That's her," said Adrien.

"The sister of the girl who saved me. She likes Adrian, she wants to date him. I say he should."

"Yes. I picked up on that when we met," said Gabriel.

"I don't know father," said Adrien, rubbing his arm. "I kinda like another girl."

"Would it be the young lady on your phone wallpaper?" Gabriel asked, making Adrien blush.

"Who is she?"

Adrien held up his phone and said, "Don't judge me." he showed his screen and it was a girl dressed up in a red bodysuit with black polka dots.

"A superhero…..Adrien, you're not gonna be able to date a hero, be realistic at least you can know Marinette." Marissa said in a serious tone. " Heroes have to keep secrets; it would never work."

Adrien was about to argue when Gabriel said, "Adrien, your sister is right. If all you do is hold out for a girl you can never have, you miss your chance at a wonderful girl who's right in front of you who does love you. Now, I'm not forcing you to automatically reciprocate her feelings, but you should give her a chance. Like I did with your mother. And I never regretted it."

After hearing from his father and sister, Adrien saw their point. "Okay. I'll call her after dinner."

Marissa was proud of her brother.

"And I'll show Marissa to her new room," said Gabriel.

Marissa nodded and they continued eating. It was great to get some food. She was sure Allison was getting a good meal as well being the daughter of bakers.

Once everyone finished, Adrien went upstairs to his room and called Marinette on his cell. He hoped she would talk to him.

Gabriel took Marissa upstairs and opened the door to a beautiful bedroom. It was as big as Adrien's, only it had a canopy bed with light pink curtains. She also had a vanity with floral decorations and many different perfumes, make up, hair brushes and accessories. There was also a jewelry box on the vanity. Her walk-in closet had many different outfits and shoes. The room even had its own bathroom, including a tub and shower. In short, this room was fit for a princess.

"I got it ready in hopes that it was you," said Gabriel. "Do you like it?"

"I love it." Marissa said, her eyes shining.

"I'm glad to hear that," said Gabriel with a smile. And then he gave her a present. "I had this specially made for you. For your birthday last year."

She took it and opened it. It was a gold locket shaped like a heart with a rose on it. When she opened the locket, inside was a photo of her and her family before the kidnapping. They looked happy.

"This means so much." Marissa smiled happily at that.

"I love you, my beautiful girl," said Gabriel as he hugged.

"Dad, would you like to spend some time together?" Marissa asked in a gentle tone. "I wanna get to know you and Adrien."

"Yes. I would like that a lot," said Gabriel.

She smiled. "I'll ask Nathalie to help me out thinking of ideas."

"That sounds wonderful," said Gabriel. That was when Adrien came out with a smile. "You seem happy."

"Yeah. I apologized to Marinette and asked her out. I've got a date with her on Friday after school," Adrien said with a smile.

"Nice going, bro." Marissa said.

"Congratulations, Adrien," said Gabriel. "I'm proud of you. Remember that you can come to me for advice."

"Dido." Marissa hugged his brother.

"Thanks," said Adrien. "Oh, father, could Marissa come to my school?"

"Yes but only twice a week she needs time to readjust." Gabriel said in a serious tone.

"Thank you, father," said Adrien. "How about you come along tomorrow? My friends and I are gonna make a movie for a film festival afterwards."

"Very well." Marissa said in a gentle tone.

"Tonight, I think you should rest. It's getting late," said Gabriel.

"Okay. Good night," said Adrien.

-The next day-

Maris sa awoke and walked downstairs. Adrien had arrived at the table and breakfast was already served. She was served an omelette with cheese, bacon, and tomatoes. She was even given a freshly baked croissant and a tall glass of orange juice.

"Good morning," he said.

"Morning." Marissa said, grabbing the food.

"I know you're not gonna be going to school too much at the moment, but you're welcome to join me and my friends after school to watch us film," said Adrien. He gave her the script. "It's a horror movie called Horrificator."

"Alright I'm not a huge fan of horror movies but it could be interesting."

"It's just me and my friends with some costumes we put together," said Adrien, shrugging. "It's not likely to be that scary."

"Is a black haired kid with super pretty eyes fair skin gonna be there." Marissa asked, talking about Marc.

"I've seen a guy like that around. He writes in a journal a lot," said Adrien. "I think Marinette called him Marc. He might be there. He sometimes hangs out at school after hours."

"He's so cute I saw him on the way here." She blushed happily.

"How about I invite him to join us?" Adrien suggested. "He's not on a team for the film festival. It won't be weird for him to hang with us."

"Yes, you're the best." She hugged him.

"I love making my sister happy," said Adrien with a smile.

-Dupain-Cheng home-

The sisters were enjoying their breakfast and getting ready for school. Thanks to Allison, Marinette actually had fewer spills.

"I honestly don't know how you two managed this girl without me," Allison said while placing down the milk that she caught before it spilled.

"As bakers, we're never afraid of a mess," said Tom.

"Are you sure you're ready to go back to school?" Sabine asked.

"Sure! I think it's time everyone knows that I'm back," said Allison. "Plus, I'm dying to meet Alya, my sweet sister's newest best friend."

"She's pretty fun, and cool," said Marinette. "Although she can be a bit rash and sometimes nosey."

Allison laughed. "Sounds accurate to what you told me."

"How about you stick around after school? We're working on a movie for the film festival," Marinette offered. "Adrien and Mylene are the lead roles."

"Cool," said Allison. "Mind if I look over the script?"

"Not at all," said Marinette as she finished eating and gave her the papers.

Allison looked weirded out by it. "Um yeah we need to work on this."

"Really? What's the matter?" Marinette curiously asked.

"It's creepy." Allison said.

"It's a monster movie," Marinette pointed out. "Aren't they supposed to be creepy?"

"Yeah. But it seems like all you guys are doing is trying to creep people out. The idea is for the film to be entertaining," said Allison. She looked at the papers again. "Plus, the kiss at the end of this scene seems out of place."

"What?" Marinette asked while looking at it. "When did Alya put that in?"

"Nevermind. I need to meet with the team to discuss editing," said Allison.

"Okay. I'll text them," said Marinette as they walked.

Allison smiled and added a few notes.

School

Marissa walked with Adrien into school. He saw Marc right away.

"Oh! There he is. I'm gonna go talk to him," said Adrien as he went over. "Hey, Marc, right? Marinette told me about you."

"Oh, Adrien, hi," said Marc, shyly.

Marissa smiled and waved her hand. "H….hi."

Marc blushed when he saw Marissa and waved back at her.

Marissa felt herself become nervous. "Would we like to come here?" Her tongue became tangled.

Marc blinked. "I'm sorry?"

"We're gonna be shooting our movie for the film festival after school. Would you like to join us?" Adrien asked.

"Oh. Sure," Marc said with a smile.

"Great! Because we could really use a consultant," said Allison as she and Marinette arrived. "This script is kind of a mess."

"Excuse me?!" Alya asked, offended. "I wrote that! Who do you think you are?!"

"Excuse I home bad moment." Marissa said grabbing her brothers hand now understanding Marinette's struggles.

"I'll see you in class, Marinette!" Adrien called as he was pulled. "Marissa, are you okay?"

"My struggles are real. I understand why Marinette had so much trouble talking to you." Marissa said as she walked over to Allison. "Hey, Allie, I understand your sister's troubles."

"Well, luckily for you, I'm here to help you like we helped her," Allison proudly said. "First off, I'm recruiting Marc to help fix the problems in the script. Marinette's explaining the problem to Alya….. and now Alya is walking towards Nino angrily."

"Did Marinette tell her you're her sister? Also Adrien already did that."

"Yes, Alya knows now," said Allison. "But I don't know why she's angry at Nino. I wonder if it has anything to do with that kissing bit."

"Kissing bit?" Marissa asked.

"There's a part in one scene where Agent Smith aka Mylene and Officer Jones aka Adrien kiss," said Allison.

"Seriously? Come on. Also is he going horror romance that never works out." Marissa remarked.

"I know," said Allison. That was when Marinette met them. "Hey, sis. What's up with Alya?"

"If I was Alya, I'd scrap the script and change it to something more cute. No offense horror movies are so last year." Marissa said.

"Good point. We'll bring that up in the meeting," said Marinette. "And it turns out Alya didn't write that bit. She suspects Nino did "

"Actually if she wants we could do a video about what it's like to be kidnapped for 7 years."

Marinette looked intrigued. "A movie based on your story."

"Yeah it's horror in a sense." Marissa remarked.

Marinette immediately hugged her. "I'm so sorry."

"It's fine, maybe the teacher will go to jail now. And it will give others a way to be hopeful right?"

"I'm sure it will," said Marinette. "Okay. I'll talk to the others during lunch. I'm sure we can do this justice."

"We'll need someone to play the teacher….that won't be a pleasant ask."

"I'm sure if we explain, the one we ask will understand," said Allison.

"Hey, Marissa, he didn't ever…." Adrien began.

"No, he kissed me but never went that far."

"Okay. That's all I wanted to know," said Adrien.

"Anyway, just a creepy man. Thank God Allison saved me."

"And we've been friends ever since," said Allison, smiling.

"I'm gonna talk to the principal about filming at least some of the film here," said Marinette as she took off.

Once she left Marissa took a long moment.

Hours later-

Marissa took a long moment and got ready to meet the others. She entered the room and there was Adrien's entire class and Marc. Allison had an open seat next to her, so Marissa took it.

"Thank you all for coming," said Adrien. "We called to discuss the script."

"Yeah. That kiss makes no sense for Agent Smith's character. She just lost a whole bunch of loved ones including her dog, she doesn't need a man in her life," said Alya.

"I just thought it would move the story along," said Nino.

"Actually, we're not doing that story," said Marinette. Everyone was surprised. "Marissa here has presented a new concept."

"I get it, you want a story starring a real star, like myself," Chloe arrogantly said, flipping her hair.

"No." Marissa bluntly said.

"What?" Chloe asked.

"The new suggestion is the story of a girl held captive for seven years until she's finally freed," said Allison.

"And who came up with that?" Chloe asked.

"Me." Marissa remarked. "I was held captive for seven years or have you forgotten?"

Chloe was stunned. "Oh. Uh. Well, it's not that it's bad. But wouldn't it be better to do a romance film? I know the perfect people to play the main couple."

"Adrien's dating Marinette. He asked her out yesterday and she said yes. So it's inappropriate for him to have a romance with anyone else." Allison said in a cold tone.

"And we feel like my sister's story will be more relatable," said Adrien. "We had a discussion. Monster movies are a tricky thing. A story based on a true story is bound to stand out."

"I agree," said Marc. "It'll be an inspiration to others in similar situations."

"Right my Marc me." Marissa said bright red. She slapped herself wishing she wasn't like this. "I mean right, Marc."

"Thank you," said Marc, smiling.

"Okay. All those in favor of changing the concept to Marissa's story, raise your hand," said Marinette. Everyone in the room raised their hands minus Chloe. "Majority rules in favor of Marissa's story. So we're doing that."

"Okay, we'll do that," said Chloe. "Let's discuss casting. Who shall play the girl being held hostage? I, personally, believe it should be someone who will do this film justice."

"Good idea," said Adrien. "Marissa can play the role. It's based on her."

"True but if I tell the story usually someone else plays that part. Mylene was the original main actress right?"

"That's true," said Mylene.

"Can you act terrified?"

"She's the best actress in our class!" Rose said.

"Yes, I can," said Mylene.

"Alright, let's give it a shot. Rose, you're also a good understudy if anything goes on she can't handle you ok with that?" Allison said.

"Okay!" Rose said.

"Hey!" Chloe barked. "She was just serving snacks! I was the original understudy!"

"Yes, well Rose looks a lot more like Marissa than you." Allison commented.

"Okay, fine. Then I'll be the hero who rescued her," said Chloe.

"Actually you have a better role. You're the investigator."

"Oh, investigator. So I'm like a detective," said Chloe.

"I can assist her!" Sabrina said.

"No the investigator that I went to worked alone. He wasn't the main hero but he helped a lot." Allison said.

"Okay," said Sabrina. "So who's playing the one who saved Marissa?"

"You or Marinette. That's up to debate." Allison said.

"Okay. I'll get some shots of each of the actresses reading and we'll look over the recordings to pick the best ones," said Nino.

"That's fair," said Mylene.

"Okay. We'll meet later with a draft of the script. And in the meantime we'll ask some teachers if they'd be willing to act as our villain," said Alya.

"Good luck with that, I don't see any teacher willing to pretend to be a villain." Chloe said with a scuff. Before leaving with subrina.

Marinette rolled her eyes and said, "That's no real surprise. Don't worry, we'll find a way."

"Honestly I have a plan for chole." Marissa remarked. "It will keep her satisfied but also keep the movie from sucking. I know my dad can find a great video editor and to prevent Chloe from ever seeing the actual movie will make a copy with her in it and send it to her and her father to watch and should her father become a problem in the future well I have ways to deal with it." Marissa had decided to be a villain with Chloe and Lila these two were her main enemies.

Allison laughed and said, "You are awful."

The others looked concerned.

Marissa held her hand up. "Necessary evil is the only way good can prevail no offense but Allison did a lot to get me back and I'm planning on getting the mayor well….dismissed. He is the reason Chloe has so much power Allison is the bad guy on the outside keeping my brother from being forced to do things he doesn't want to and I am the villain on the inside making it seem like I like and want her to get her way only to make moves in the darkness."

"Wow," said Nathaniel. "Well, I guess if it prevents anyone from being a tyrant, I'm okay."

"I'm gonna get started on the rewrites of the script," said Marc. "Marissa, can I pick your brain a bit?"

Marissa blushed. "Pick brain me yes." Marissa stuttered.

"Great. Anything about your experience will help with the script," said Marc as he started walking away.

Allison giggled at her and then Nathaniel commented, "She's pretty shy around Marc."

"Yes! Shy. Marc. Mari," said Allison, nervously.

"Okay. Seeya," said Nathaniel.

Adrien and Marinette slapped their faces.

"Is that what I looked like?" Marinette asked.

"Kind of," said Alya.

Allison sat with Marissa. "Isn't Nate cute?"

"Uh?"

"What? I like him," said Allison.

"Makes sense."

"And, thanks to you, Mylene won't become Horrificator," said Allison.

"Hum true but that doesn't mean there won't be a villain today."

"Yeah. Anything could happen," said Allison. "I've got some stuff down for the new script. Wanna see?"

Marissa nodded. Allison gave her a paper to read. It had a reenactment of her hostage experience.

She looked around not seeing anyone. "It's good for it being fake."

"Thanks. Creative writing is one of my talents," said Allison with a smile. "I was worried that I went overboard with the teacher."

"Nah, it's fine." Marissa said in a gentle tone.

"Now we just need a guy to play him," said Allison.

She nodded. "Hopefully the future is bright."

"Are you girls doing ok?" Asked Mr. Haprele, Mylene's father and a custodian.

She smiled happily.

"Yes, Mr. Haprele," said Allison. "Hey, you're an actor. Can you help us out?"

"Sure. How can I help?" He asked.

"We're looking for a guy to play a specific role in our film festival entry," Allison explained. "This character is the villain of the story."

"Wow. I'm actually in an acting troupe. How about I ask if any wanna try out?" Mr. Haprele offered.

"Can you? That would help a lot," said Allison.

"Sure. I'll call them," he said. "Need to go, bye."

"See you later. I'll text you the time!" Allison happily said as she waved. "That should help."

"Yes." Marissa smiled. "Once we have the villain everything should go smoothly."

"Hey!" Chloe barked.

"Crud," said Allison as Chloe arrived. "What seems to be the problem?"

"You have me playing a man?!" Chloe asked.

"It takes a lot of talent to play the opposite sex," Allison said, justifying her suggestion.

Marissa looked intrigued. "Do you not want a big role, Chloe?" Marissa asked.

"I do. But-" Chloe said, but was interrupted.

"Then quit complaining and start working on your dialogue," said Allison as she gave her a paper. "This is the latest draft. Read it, memorize it, and be ready to recite when your cue comes."

Marissa sighed.

"But why can't I play a girl? Preferably the lead?" Chloe asked.

"Like we said, we don't find you believable as Marissa," said Allison.

"Believable?!" Chloe asked.

"Chloe, I ask a certain way and you're more believable as a detective then a kind girl scared because she's trapped you can't act like that nor is it believable." Marissa bluntly said. "Do what you're good at."

"This is ridiculous. Utterly ridiculous!" Chloe said as she walked away.

Allison rolled her eyes and said, "Whatever. We have an appointment to see some auditionees."

Marissa walked with Allison. "She's a good villain, a horrible human being but a great villain."

"Yeah. Maybe we should've done a superhero or fantasy film with her as the villain," Allison said as she laughed.

-cafeteria-

Allison, Adrien, Nino, Alya, Marinette, and Marissa watched as Mr. Haprele and his actor friends read their lines.

"Thank you, Robert. Next please," said Nino.

"Mr. Chris, show us what you can do," said Marinette.

"Okay. Here I go," said the guy. He looked his best as the character and spoke. "I'm only doing what's best for you, Marissa."

"Wow. Not bad," said Allison. "Marissa?"

"It was good."

"Thanks, Chris. We still have to see the others, but you were very well," said Adrien.

"Thanks," said Chris as he walked off.

"Okay. That was the last one for the teacher," said Alya. "Okay. Rose, let's see you as Marissa."

"Okay!" Rose happily said as she stood in front of them. She started fake crying. "Why are you doing this to me? Why can't you just let me go?"

"Nice," said Nino. "You're next, Mylene."

Mylene stood up and looked scared. "Why are you doing this to me? Why can't you just let me go?"

"That was great too," said Allison. "We'll look over both your takes."

"Excuse me," Chloe said as she sauntered in. "Does anyone have a place for all this talent."

Allison quickly stood up and shouted, "Stay in your lane, Bourgeois!"

"How can you say I'm not believable if you haven't even seen me? It's so unfair to exclude someone without giving them a chance," Chloe said, sounding dramatic.

"Maybe we could….. give her a shot," said Adrien.

"I've seen her." Allison stated. "Nino recorded your acting before." Allison remarked. "It's not what we need. And unlike others I don't care who your father is. So here's the options either play the detective or don't play anything."

Marissa took a moment. "Chloe, are you trying to hurt me? You know that's kinda like hurting Adrien since I'm his sister." Marissa sweetly said. "I'd love to have you be the lead but if I did that it would be a big issue since you can't be scared like Mylene can so if you respect my brother at all accept the decision."

Adrien held her hand and said, "She's got a point, Chloe. If you're not right for the part, there's nothing any of us can do about it."

Chloe wanted to argue, but knew she could not say anything. So she simply walked away.

"She's gonna be trouble." Marissa remarked.

"No surprise there," said Allison. "Okay. Next we need check out the girls trying out for me. You're first, sis."

"Okay. Just keep in mind that I'm the producer," said Marinette as she stepped forward.

"Not if you get the part well have Alya take it sense she knows you so well."

"Okay," said Marinette. She cleared her throat and read. "You're not getting away with this, sicko!"

"Nice!" Allison said as she clapped. "Only I used a more obscene term. You're up, Sabrina."

Sabrina took the stage and said, "You better let that girl go or face the wrath of Justice!"

"That's not the line, Sabrina!" Alya shouted.

"Sorry!" Sabrina said. "Chloe said this one sounded better."

"No it doesn't. That's me you're trying out for, and I do not sound like a hero from an old TV show," Allison.

Marissa held up a hand. "Sabrina try again and imagine Chloe was the one in trouble."

Sabrina nodded and looked determined. "You're not getting away with this, you sick bastard!"

Marissa clapped.

"That's much better," said Marinette.

"See if you let yourself do your own thing you can do a lot, Sabrina." Marissa said in encouragement.

Marinette felt a little concerned and moved Allison elsewhere. "Allie is Marissa a little bit manipulative or is it just me."

"Maybe a little bit. But not in a bad way," said Allison.

Marinette looked concerned. "If you say so."

"She doesn't use her ability to just get her way. As you saw her, she wanted to do things right," said Allison.

"Allison, there's a darkness being like that hurting others even if they do bad things it isn't right."

"It'll be fine, sis. I can keep her under control," said Allison.

Marinate looked even more concerned. She has a feeling this isn't gonna end well.

"Okay. Let's go over the results," said Allison. "For the role of Marissa, we have Mylene or Rose. Keep in mind, the one we don't pick will be the understudy."

"I'd say Mylene for the role and Rose as the understudy," said Adrien.

"I don't know. Rose's fake crying was pretty cute," said Alya.

"But Mylene really captured the feeling of fear," said Nino.

"Yeah she's best for it. And Sabrina would be the better choice for Allison." Marissa said in a calm tone.

"I personally thought Chris was good reading for the teacher," said Marinette.

"I thought Benjamin was good too," said Nino.

"Mr. D'Argencourt was good too," said Allison.

"I'm not sure ro be honest." Marissa remarked. "Personally they all were good but they're playing a villain and they all nailed that."

"I guess if it comes down to it, I'd say Chris," said Alya. "I think Mr. D'Argencourt would be great for the inspector in the reshoots."

"Yeah but we'll have to keep it secret from Chloe so make sure Sabrina doesn't hear. I'll keep her distracted." Marissa said in a gentle tone.

Allison took a moment. "If she finds out fake ignorance and I'll take the blame." Allison said.

Marissa looked confused. "why? It was my idea."

"It's better that I get blamed than you," said Allison.

"I'll text everyone so we can get started as soon as possible," said Allison.

Marissa nodded.

-the film shoot-

L

Mylene looked around cautiously and caught sight of the door. She breathed calming breaths as a camera was filming her.

"I can do this. I have to do this. It's my big chance," she said loud enough for it to be heard. "I'm gonna do it."

She started running for the door. She reached it and started opening it only to be blocked by Chris.

"Where do you think you're going, Marissa?" He asked.

Mylene looked terrified as she backed away. Chris came closer to her until-

"Cut!" Allison shouted.

Nino groaned. "I'm the director! I say cut!"

Allison crossed her arms. "Well, Mr. Director, perhaps you should've said it when you saw that boom mic."

"Huh?" Nino asked. He rewound the shot and then saw it. "Aw! There's a boom mic in the shot!"

"Sorry," said Juleka.

"It's ok." Marissa said.

"Do we have to shoot this thing again? It's like the fifth take!" Nino said in frustration.

"Seventh, actually," said Alix.

"Maybe we could pick up from here and just edit out the boom mic?" Rose suggested.

Marissa got up. "Let's try one more time, trust me Juleka it's fine calm your nerves."

"Okay. I'll be more careful with the mic," said Juleka.

"Does anyone want some juice?" Rose offered, hol ding up a bottle.

"Maybe just a quick one," said Chris.

"When are we gonna do my scene?" Chloe asked.

"Yours is coming up, Chloe, after this. Patience. You want Adrian to be happy don't you?" Marissa said in a sweet tone.

"Yes," Chloe reluctantly said. "I just hope we actually get to it, because we already did this scene so many times."

this time the scene seemed to end perfectly. "See no cuts now we can."

"Perfect! I'm going to get into costume," Chloe said as she walked away.

Marissa smiled the skill worked perfectly.

"Didn't you guys already do an inspector scene with Mr. D'Argencourt?" Adrien asked.

"Oh no. That was practice," said Sabrina. "We're doing the real ones with Chloe."

Adrien looked surprised. "Marissa, can we talk?"

Marissa nodded. "Of course, Adrien." She went to the side.

"Have you been lying to Chloe?" Adrien asked.

Marissa was silent for a moment. "Yes."

"Marissa, that's wrong," said Adrien. "We have to tell her the truth or she'll get over excited about her scenes."

"No, she will ruin the shoot out of shellfish desire and then someone will get akumatized. But if you believe that really won't happen, go ahead." Marissa said in a sad tone.

Adrien saw her expression and felt really bad. "Okay. I won't tell."

"Adrien, I'm not doing this because I hate her but I've seen how Chloe is and how bad it's been from what I heard from others." Marissa said with a sad tone.

"I understand," said Adrien. "Don't worry. I won't let anything bad happen to anyone."

Chloe was adjusting her inspector costume in the classroom and sat down at the desk. Sabrina stood outside the door waiting for her que.

"We are making a special video were she is in it for her and her dad to watch if it helps I don't want to let anyone to get hurt expecelly not Marinette or Allison." Marissa calmly added. "So thank you for not saying anything." She hugged him.

"You're a good person, little sister," said Adrien as he hugged her.

"Trapped Girl Scene 3, take 1. Action," said Alix as she snapped the scene marker.

Chloe casual sat at her desk reading a magazine with her feet on the table and playing with her hair. That was when she heard a knock on the door.

"Come in!" Chloe called like she was trying to sound nice as she greeted a guest.

"Cut!" Nino shouted before Sabrina entered. "Chloe, since when do inspectors read fashion mags and put their feet on the desks? And you sounded more like a house wife in a sitcom!"

"Okay, we'll do it again," said Chloe, flipping her hair.

"Trapped Girl Scene 3, take 2. Action," said Alix.

Now Chloe looked like she was looking at a file when the knock came.

"Come in," she said. Sabrina entered and stood in front of her. "How can I help you?"

"I have a suspicion about my teacher. I think he's up to no good," said Sabrina.

"Really? Why do you think that?" Chloe asked.

Marc rolled his eyes and whispered to Marissa, "Have you ever seen someone eat scenery like her?"

"No….excuse me I need to talk to Nino."

Marissa looked to Nino and whispered to make sure to make sure to only take three at most since it's going only to Chloe and her dad. Nino nodded and gave her a thumbs up.

They seemed to do the rest of the scene with little trouble. Thankfully Chloe's mistakes were minimal enough so she would be unable to question anything.

"Could we do that again? I think I said the wrong line?" Sabrina asked.

"No!" Nino quickly said. And then he composed himself. "You said it right. Don't worry. It's perfect."

Marissa pulled the girl over and said. "Sabrina, trust the process this is why we do the practice scenes and do longer cuts so you don't get it wrong in the real thing." Marissa whispered.

"Okay," said Sabrina, smiling. She left to prepare for another scene.

"Okay, peeps, let's take a break and meet back in five for the next scene!" Nino said.

Everyone left to go get some snacks and drinks. Some even went into the bathroom.

"I think we have a real chance at winning the competition," said Alix.

"Yeah. I was actually worried I was gonna hold up production," said Mylene.

"We're half way through and you were perfect. The fear you have made it work perfectly." Marissa smiled.

"Pardon me, girls. But will I be needed for any further scenes?" Mr. D'Argencourt asked.

"Yes three more but if you have somewhere else to be I can talk to the principal to see if he'd be willing to let have more time." Marissa said in a persuasive way.

"I just need to turn in the grades for the students P.E. performances from today. I'll be done by the time I'm needed again. No need to worry," Mr. D'Argencourt assured her.

"Ah i get it go ahead I do have to speak with the principal anyway." Marissa sweetly said.

"Go ahead, child," said Mr. D'Argencourt as he left.

"Allison, come along."

"Okay," said Allison as she followed. "What's up, Marissa?"

"I wanted to talk to him in the first place. I asked Nathalie to look up the past events in the school." Marissa explained.

"Did she find anything?" Allison asked.

"Yes. She's really good at requests."

"I heard about a few events in passing," said Allison. "Like the Lady WiFi incident. Everyone got freaked out that day when Alya was able to go into phones."

"I mean we've seen it."

"I know, but still," said Allison. "What did you learn?"

"Past bullying events all against other students which were hidden."

"So Chloe wasn't the only bully here?" Allison asked.

"No it's all Chloe. Just swept under the rug." Marissa showed her. "We're gonna have a few choices here though I do like the principal. Him doing this is a problem. Either we black mail him to get him to not give in to Chloe or we give it to the news and make sure the pe teacher gets the job in her father's place."

"Oh, you are dark," Allison said with a giggle.

"Only if Marinette knew I wasn't the only one." Marissa teased.

"She seems genuinely worried about you being manipulative," said Allison.

"I am for those who have to deal with this idiocy." Marissa remarked. "She's smart but she's naive. To defeat the enemy you have to be manipulative and know what others want. Otherwise people like Lila and Chloe will win."

"I hear ya," said Allison as they arrived. "Hi, Mr. Damocles. Do you have a minute?"

"Yes. How can I help you ladies?" The principal asked.

"My father was concerned with something his assistant found." Marissa sweetly said.

"Oh? What's that? Is there a problem with your brother's attendance?" Mr. Damocles asked. "Because we've been working around his busy schedule and we excused his tardiness and absences due to his modeling work."

"No it's the bullying reports he found and how you swept it under the rug because it was the mayor's daughter." Allison said in a cold tone.

"Look principal, I believe you're a good man and wish to be a hero. But this is unacceptable and the false prosecution of Alya is problematic so I have an offer we put these on the news and you be the person who brought this corruption to light or I hand this to the school administrator." Marissa said in a calm tone.

"Now, hold on. Think this through," said Mr. Damocles. "This could do more harm than good."

Allison looked unhappy. "Kinda late for that, don't you think? Look, all we're asking is for you to be the person you truly wanna be."

Mr. Damocles sighed and said, "Okay. I'll help you. I do want to be someone that the students look up to."

"Good oh that reminds me." Marissa said in a gentle tone she called her father. "Hey, dad, you know since the students have been so wonderful wouldn't it be great to pay back the school who helped me?"

[I was just going to offer, Marissa,] said Gabriel. [Seeing as it was the sister of a student here who rescued my daughter, I would like to make a donation to the school.]

"How about under their name here I'll hand the phone to the principal and you can tell him the amount. " Marissa said, handing the principal the phone.

[Hello, is this principal Damocles?] He asked.

"Yes. Mr. Agreste, I recognize your voice," said the principal. "Your daughter just told me that you were pleased with the school."

[Yes. Allison Dupain-Cheng, sister of Marinette, to be more precise,] said Gabriel. [I wanted to express my gratitude in some way. And since the school is helping my daughter readjust, I would like to donate a sum. How does 2318945.40 Euro sound?]

Mr. Damocles looked shocked. "That's very generous of you. You really care about the school, don't you?"

[I care about my daughter and her rescuer as long as that's maintained I'm happy have a good day and make sure to put the Dupain-Cheng's as the donors and I will be sending 80,000 euros for a cake so please keep this to yourself.] The phone hung up.

"Of course," said Mr. Damocles. He turned to the girls. "Well, thank you for that, Marissa."

"Yes, just realize these and were square." Marissa said. "I do have copies if you need more." Marissa and Allison left.

"Alright," said Damocles.

-Hours later-

Marissa saw they finished up production on time.

"Hey, Marissa. Where have you been?" Adrien asked.

"Just talking to Allison about something. We should get going though you have a date don't you?" Marissa sweetly

"Yeah. I got Marinette and me tickets for Princess Luna: Promise of the Flowers," said Adrien.

"I heard of that," said Allison. "There's supposed to be a scene in that where Princess Luna and Sir Eragon kiss."

"Very romantic." Marissa said sweetly.

"I'm glad you think so," said Adrien as he watched Marinette talking to Alya. "I really want this to work out."

"Yeah I get it." Marissa smiled.

"And don't worry about a thing. I'll be looking after your sister," said Allison as she put her hand on her shoulder.

"Okay. See you later," said Adrien.

Marissa nodded and left.

"You know, Chloe could end up akumatized because of this," said Allison.

"And if she is it won't matter because she'll be defeated." Marissa said in a calm tone.

"True. And it's not like we can be blamed," said Allison. She saw Adrien leaving with Marinette and Chloe glaring. "Looks like the wheels are in motion for her akumatization. She's already mad about Adrien dating Marinette. Once her father is under investigation and she no longer has power, it is over for her patience."

"Seriously? Her?" Chloe asked.

"I know what'll cheer you up, Chloe!" Sabrina said. "Let's go watch your scenes in the movie!"

"I guess that might help," said Chloe as they walked off.

Sabrina knocked on the door and Max answered. "We're a little busy with editing. Is there something you need?"

"Is it possible to get a copy of Chloe's reel?" Sabrina asked.

"Oh, yes. I've already finished a copy just for her and her father," said Max as he checked the table. He finally saw the DVD. "Ah! Here it is!"

"Thanks," said Chloe. She was about to look inside. "What's going on in there?"

"It's computer related. Something that I know for a fact does not interest you," said Max.

Chloe shrugged and said, "You're right. It sounds geeky and lame. Bye."

She took the video and went to leave.

Marissa looked at Allison. "Yeah you're right."

"Let's get out of here before she takes her problem out on us," said Allison.

Marissa nodded. The girls quickly went home while the student film was finished. Once that was done, Nino took a copy to turn in to the judges. Adrien and Marinette had their date and Adrien started seeing Marinette differently.

-next day-

Adrien and Marissa met up with the others and Nino started cheering.

"We made the cut! We're in the film contest!" He cheered. He hugged Marissa. "And we owe it all to you! Your story was so touching that the judges melted."

"Thank you." Marissa said in a calm tone.

"Though, weirdly, the mayor wasn't there," said Nino after parting from the hug.

"Oh, you didn't see?" Alya asked. "It was all over the news. The mayor's getting a lot of backlash."

"What? What for?" Adrien asked, confused.

"Turns out someone got evidence that his precious little daughter has been misusing her daddy's position in order to scare the principal into getting away with everything," said Alya. "He's been so embarrassed by this scandal that he hasn't come out of his own home."

"Oh. Ouch," said Allison. "That's gotta suck for Chloe."

"Well that's unfortunate." Marissa said in a calm tone.

"But where'd Nadja get that evidence?" Marinette wondered out loud. "I saw it on the news but she didn't name the source."

"The principal himself. I heard." One of them said.

"Guess he finally had a guilty conscience," Alya remarked, almost smugly.

"Well, in any case, I don't think we'll be seeing too much of Andre Bourgeois in public," said Allison.

"This politically is gonna prevent anyone from voting for him." Marissa said in a calm tone.

"Just as well, my parents were planning on voting for Mr. D'Argencourt," said Marinette as she showed them a campaign button.

"Him being in the movie should help that." Marissa remarked as they walked. "Speaking of, I should get going."

"I better go too. I need to prep for my next photoshoot," said Adrien as he headed for the car. "Would you like a ride, sis?"

"Yes." Marissa said while following her brother to the car.

"We're heading to the Grand Palais. Father wants me to pose for a new perfume ad," said Adrien. "You can just tell the bodyguard where you want to go."

"Alright why don't I go with you? It might be interesting." Marissa said in a calm tone.

"You sure? It might be boring," said Adrien.

"Yes it would be great."

"Okay. You know the way," said Adrien to the driver.

The driver nodded and drove to the photoshoot site. The Grand Palais was big and beautiful. They went inside together and Marissa was amazed by all of the equipment, props, and outfits set aside for the shoot. There was even a trailer.

"Let's get you into makeup, Adrien," said the makeup lady. And then she saw Marissa. "Oh! Marissa! It's so nice to see you out and about. How have you been adjusting? I realize your experience must've been very traumatic."

"It's been hard. But with my family it's been getting better." Marissa smiled.

"I'm glad to hear that," she said. "I hope you enjoy your time on the set. This new ad is your father's best ad so far."

"Oh my!" The photographer said. "Is this angel Adrien's sister?"

"Yes, she is!" Adrien called as the makeup was applied.

"Perhaps we could get a couple of photos of you?" The photographer asked. "For souvenirs if nothing else."

"Very well." Marissa said in a gentle tone.

"Good go stand next to that large replica and start posing and acting like you like it," said the photographer.

She nodded going to the large replica and acted as if she was having the best time with it. She smiled as she posed. She grabbed a real bottle and smelled it. This helped a lot as it truly smelled nice and she liked the scent. She posed with her arms spread like wings, one leg up and swooning, even blowing a kiss.

"Lovely," said the photographer. "You're a natural. I'll send you your prints after the shoot."

She nodded and left to let Adrien do his thing. She sat in a chair and watched as Adrien posed with a smile. The whole time, the photographer was making comments about spaghetti and other pasta. A couple of times Adrien was caught looking bored.

"Not bad, not bad," the guy said. Adrien changed the pose. "Better. Smile a little more lovingly. Try thinking about how happy you were to have your sister back. Or maybe your mother. Or a special lady if you have one."

"There is this girl I'm dating," said Adrien, smiling as he thought about Marinette.

"Perfect!" The photographer said as he snapped the picture. He looked at Marissa. "You know, Marissa, I bet you could model as well. If you want to."

"I was thinking singer." Marissa said with a huge smile.

"Well, you certainly have the makings of a performer," said Adrien. "You know, Marinette could design your stage costumes."

Marissa nodded.

"How about you practice while we continue?" Adrien suggested.

Marissa thought about it but nodded. She went to find a nice spot to practice her singing. She had some songs written already.

She hummed a tune.

Some people seemed to like the tune and listened.

Marissa looked very happy.

She was then approached by a man with purple hair.

"You got good rhythm, kid. Can you sing?" He asked in an English accent.

"Yeah I can sing." She remarked.

"Good. I'll play," said the guitarist as he started strumming. "Rock 'n roll, little lady."

She thought about a song and began to sing.

Come now, gather around

Behold such a saddening tale

Come now, leave not behind your handkerchief

It may keep you well

One time long long ago, there lived a young witch in the land

Ah yes, she came to love a young prince, so the story goes

"No need for a magic to stop time, no spell can achieve what I feel"

"Love bounding through every hour joy lights a new day "

she stoped singing. "Sorry haven't finished the song I have a clue about what I want from it otherwise it's not a lot."

"Even so, you rocked!" the man said. He gave her a card. "This is my agent's number. Give her a call. Maybe we can jam again sometime."

On that note, the man walked away. Marissa was pleased at the reception when she saw Adrien. He looked in awe at her.

"Marissa, do you know who that was?" He asked.

"Should I?" Marissa asked.

"That was Jagged Stone!" Adrien excitedly said. "He's a famous rockstar! My classmates and I are all big fans!"

"Oh, he gave me his agent's number. He liked my music." Marissa remarked.

"Hang onto that," said Adrien. "This might lead to your big break. Marinette actually designed a pair of shades for him."

Marissa smiled happily.

"You should definitely tell father," said Adrien.

"I will."

-Agreste mansion-

Gabriel was looking at the photos from the shoot and then watching a video that someone made of Marissa singing. He was impressed with her talent.

"I had no idea you had this in you," he said to her.

"Thank you, father." Marissa smiled at her.

"You know, I'm close with the producer, Bob Roth," said Gabriel. "He represents both Jagged Stone and Mr. XY. Perhaps I could get you a session with him."

She remembered Bob Roth he was a problem in general and it made her concerned.

"I don't know, father. Jagged himself actually gave her his agent's number," said Adrien.

Gabriel looked at the number and said, "Perhaps if we ask nicely, Jagged will let you join him on stage."

"Father, I would prefer to talk to Jagged's agent. I heard a lot about his agent and I trust they'll have more of my thoughts in mind."

"Alright. I'll call and arrange something," said Gabriel.

Marissa smiled happily. She took a deep breath sighing in relief.

"Sir, you remembered to vote, right?" Nathalie asked.

"Of course. Don't worry," said Gabriel. "Adrien, Marissa, why don't you two go watch a movie together? I have to wrap up some things for the advertisement."

"Okay, Father," said Adrien as they left. "Better get used to that. He's busy a lot."

"Adrien, father may be busy but trust me." Marissa smiled happily.

"Okay," said Adrien. He suddenly saw something on the TV. "Wait, what's that?!"

Marissa took a moment and looked over what he was watching. It was the news and it showed a girl with her hair in a ponytail dressed like a villain from a magical girl anime was attacking the city.

"As you can see, viewers, a girl calling herself Empress Domain has begun hunting down people throughout Paris," said Nadja.

"That looks like Chloe!" Adrien said. "Marissa, go into your room and lock the door. Don't come out for anyone unless it's me, Father, or Nathalie."

"Why? She didn't know it was me. She's probably after Allison if anyone or marinate."

"I don't want you to be on the wrong side of her anger. Especially not now," said Adrien.

"Fine, fine." She walked off to her room.

A tiny creature floated next to Adrien as he entered his room. "Paranoid, much?"

"I'd like to see you justify telling my sister to lock herself in her own room," said Adrien. "Plagg, claws out!"

The creature then went into Adrien's silver ring and turned it black. Almost immediately, he transformed into the superhero Cat Noir. He opened his window and leapt out into action. What he didn't know was that his sister saw him make his exit.

"That explains why he practically shoved me in here," She said. And then her phone rang. It was Allison. "Allie? Are you okay?"

[I'm fine, but I'm worried that my sister isn't,] said Allison. [That villain is obviously Chloe. She's capturing everyone who she thinks wronged her. She already got Alya and Sabrina.]

"Powers, what are they?" Marissa asked.

[I think she's got a version of her Miracle Queen power where she turns anyone she wants into her minion. Except she's not using bees or wasps. She zapping them with a beam from her crown,] Allison said.

"Like domain she's taking her charge of a certain place but in place of an actual place it's people. Great."

[Don't worry. I figured out where her stronghold is,] said Allison. [The Grand Paris Hotel. She always did consider it her palace.]

"Alright well I'm gonna steal a miraculous so do your best to avoid her and when Marinette comes as Ladybug, distract her."

[Okay. Bye for now,] said Allison.

Marissa sighed she was gonna be in so much trouble but she needed a Miraculous. She unlocked her door and ran out hiding as best she could until she got to the man himself the keeper of marcluses house and hoped to god he wasn't there.

Master fus house

Marissa snuck in through the window and looked around seeing he wasn't around he went to the old music player. She pressed the buttons she remembered from the show and this revealed the miracle box.

"Yes. Wang Fu, you are so predictable," she said as she took it but she noticed something else at the bottom of the secret compartment there was a box that looked like it was kept there for a reason she picked it up. "Ok this one's strange but he's less likely to notice so you're mine now." She left the box on the ground then left.

By the time Fu had returned, he found the miracle box on the floor and quickly put it back. And he did not bother to change the combination.

"Strange. I'm not normally so forgetful," he said. He checked the box. "They're all here. Well, minus the two I gave away and the two missing miraculouses."

"I don't know, Master. Perhaps we should check again," said Wayzz.

"They are here. If someone did break in, why not take these?" Fu asked.

"What about the very dangerous one?" Wayzz asked.

Fu's eyes widened in horror. He rushed over to the phonogram and found the compartment empty. He was now really filled with dread.

"This is a disaster," he said as he fell to the floor. "Of all the miraculouses, why that one?"

"I hope they haven't opened it yet if they have there's no way to get her back."

"Then we must find that miraculous, immediately," said Fu. "Wayzz, shell-ahhh!"

Fu tried to transform, only to hurt his back. Wayzz shook his head. Now they would have to hope that Ladybug and Cat Noir could find it.

-with Marissa-

Marissa found a dark alley and opened the box. A small light came out of the box and floated in front of her. Right in front of her was a kwami. It was a black bat with large ears that was pink inside it was kwmi like and it's eyes were pure green with light blue irises.

The kwami blinked and looked around. And then its eyes fell on Marissa. "Hello," it said.

"Hi….was not expecting a bat when I stole you from Fu's place."

"Well, the Guardians don't often like to let me out," said the kwami.

"That must be lonely. Why don't they let you out?"

"Because my miraculous is considered dangerous and I can't be taken away from my owner without them giving me up," said the kwami. "Which find rather funny since Plagg can grant people the power to literally destroy everything they touch, and Fluff can grant people the power to alter the past if they're not careful. And let's not forget Xupu with chaos magic."

"What's more dangerous then that?" Marissa remarked.

"Because I'm the kwami of sound," said the kwami. "I can use echoes to locate other kwamis and miraculouses, and I can also transfer kwamis from one object to another using vibrations."

"Does that work on akumas by chance?"

"As I found out from a previous holder, yes it does," said the kwami. "I'm Giiza, by the way."

"Marissa. So you're able to locate and move kwamis along with akumas, that's a lot of power. So how many times can I use that ability? Is there anything else I need to know." Marissa asked looking at the belt inside and placing it around her waist. "Abilities specific to you what I'll be able to do physically can I fly. Will I be stronger? Can I see in the dark what's my weapon?"

"Your weapon is a knife that looks like a bat wing in each hand; they don't really stab but they can rip apart an akumas influence like mind control or such or pull a miraculous users kwami out transforming them you can fly with the wings you after transforming," Giiza explained. "Other natural abilities include speed, strength, and agility, like any miraculous."

"Wait I can rip out a kwami but it doesn't hurt…."

"Only at first," said Giiza, shrugging.

"I'm hoping it doesn't remove that kwamis from the owner's item. Like I have to physically touch it….but I can ripp the influence out as well…so any ability a akuma has does that mean I can bring people who turn into statues back or destroy something affecting someone?" Marissa asked

"Once you understand wavelengths, you can turn someone turned to stone back to their original state," said Giiza.

"You are the coolest kwami ever and I'm not giving you up ever."

"Thank you," said Giiza, smiling. "I know we just met but I like you, Marissa."

"You too, Giiza ok teach me as much as you can within this hour and let's save the city."

"Okay. Pay close attention. This stuff will be important," said Giiza. "Write it down if you need to."

She pulled out her phone. And started typing.

Giiza explained to her that her power had three uses until the timer started and that Marissa must make sure to land before the timer runs out; no need to explain why mid air detransformation is dangerous. She also gave her some tips on what she can do with sounds

-1 hour later-

Marissa had transformed using the words "Giiza, wings out." No surprise there her body was changed into a black leather like outfit with two long wings and her hair was twisted into a braid her mask which only covered her eyes was bat like and her pupil was green like giizas and her ires blue just like giizas. Her boots had spiky trim going up kinda like toothlesses and her tail was much like Giiza's but bigger. Her belt had a bat like image on the diamond shape emblem that was black on the outside now and the bat was a light blue the belt itself was now gray instead of black.

"Too cool," said Marissa. And then she heard a scream. "Marc!"

She rushed to help and saw two people turned into minions holding Marc tightly. It looked like they were abducting him.

She ran at them with her blades and used the frigincy to slice the akumas power out of them. Each one fell over groaning before she picked up Marc. "Never realised I'd find a damsel in distress must be my lucky day."

"And I never thought I'd meet a superhero up close," said Marc with a smile as they took off. "Thank you."

"No problem. The name's Vesper. I'm a bat with a cause and right now I'm here to make sure you get somewhere safe."

"I'm a little more worried about my friends," said Marc. "Chloe-well, Queen Domain-is going to turn everyone into her slaves and lock up everyone whoever wronged her in her eyes. I heard her saying that she's going to get revenge on Marinette for stealing her prince."

"I see it's time to deal with that monster." Vesper remarked.

"I agree," said Marc. "Please, be careful."

"I'm a hero I'll be fine." she dropped him off and left.

Marissa aka Vesper used her wings to fly to the Grand Paris Hotel, which now looked more like a dark castle.

"Echo locate." She said in a calm tone. She made a sound and she saw through the buildings and saw where the akuma was. She followed it.

"Mind telling us who you are?" A female voice asked.

Vesper turned around and saw Ladybug and Cat Noir. Ladybug looked ready to defend while Cat Noir looked curious.

"I don't remember any bat themed people in Paris," said Cat Noir.

"I'm Vesper." She ignored them. "Echo locate." The screech happened again and she saw the location again following them.

"Hold on, we don't know where the prisoners are. Or the villain or her akuma for that matter," said Ladybug as she and Cat Noir followed her.

"I do. The locate allows me to make sound waves allowing me to find akumas."

"Cool power!" Cat Noir happily said. "How about we work together?"

"Very well." Vesper remarked. Making a sound to locate the akuma.

Ladybug leapt to the next floor and found the akumatized Chloe sitting on a throne. People under mind control were serving her like a queen.

"Jeesh. I can't tell if this is because of the akuma or her desire to be boss," said Ladybug.

"It's gonna end in a second." Vesper remarked as she jumped forward making the sound and slashing at the people causing them to faint. "Hey, empress. How about you deal with me you bitch."

"What?! Another superhero?! But there's only two!" The villain said.

"Not anymore!" Ladybug said. "Lucky charm!"

She shot her yoyo in the air and got a whistle.

"Guess it means you need sound," said Cat Noir.

Vesper tilted her head. Ladybug looked at it and then Vesper.

"Vesper, can you use your echo in a whistle?" Ladybug asked.

She thought about it. "I can't make a whistle but it can be normal how loud it is could be something else."

"Maybe it's supposed to be a signal," said Ladybug. "Do you know where her akuma is?"

"Yes." Vesper said. She pointed to the girl's dress.

"Okay. You two distract her and I'll use my power on the gown," said Cat Noir.

Vesper raised an eyebrow. "Very well."

Empress Domain laughed and said, "You really think you can stop me with a pathetic whistle? So lame."

"Don't underestimate us," she said with a smirk.

"You're the ones underestimating me. I'll get all your miraculouses and then I'll get rid of the pathetic Marinette Dupain-Cheng once and for all," Empress Domain declared. "And my minions have already got the perfect bait. Her friends and her precious sister."

Ladybug glared and said, "You leave that girl alone!"

"Why don't you make me?" Empress Domain taunted as she summoned her mind controlled butler.

"With pleasure." Vasper said, striking the butler with her blade making him faint. "See I can turn your allies back to normal and it works on more than just them."

"But now you just used your shot," Empress Domain mocked.

She laughed. "That thing isn't my shot I can use this part as much as I like."

Empress Domain growled and went to attack her. Ladybug and Cat Noir fought and Ladybug blew the whistle really loudly.

"Cut that out!" She yelled.

"Cataclysm!" Cat Noir said and made a grab for her dress. Unfortunately, he missed and got the table.

"Nice try, little kitty!" Empress Domain taunted and laughed.

"Oopsie," said Cat Noir.

"No problem," said Vesper, smirking. "Be ready to catch the akuma, Ladybug."

"You think you can get my akuma when the alley cat failed?" Empress Domain mocked, laughing.

She sliced the empress across her chest. "Actually yeah." She said as a butterfly was pulled out. "You really should have watched yourself better."

"No!" Empress Domain screamed dramatically.

"No more evil doing for you, little akuma. Time to de-evilize!" said Ladybug as she opened her yoyo and swung it at the akuma, capturing it. And then she pulled back and opened the yoyo, releasing a white butterfly. "Bye bye, little butterfly. Thanks, Vesper."

"I'm just doing what I needed to." She went to leave.

"Miraculous ladybug!" Ladybug said as she threw her whistle into the air and it turned into a swarm of ladybugs and flew around restoring everything to its proper state.

Empress Domain then turned back into Chloe and looked around. "Ugh," she groaned.

"Pound it," the heroes said as they fist bumped.

"You feeling okay, Chloe?" Ladybug asked.

"I'll feel a lot better when whoever leaked that stuff to the press says they made it up!" Chloe said. "Or maybe when my Adrikins dumps that lame baker girl!"

"Yeah, I don't think either is happening," said Cat Noir. "We better go, L.B."

"Right. Bug out," said Ladybug as they left.

"What was with that bat girl anyway?" Chloe asked herself.

-with Vesper-

Vesper flew through the city until she found a good hiding place.

"Wings in," she said and then turned into Marissa.

"Excellent first mission," said Giiza.

"Yep so cool." Marissa said looking proud.

Giiza exhaled and landed in her hands. "Man, I need to recharge. Got any fruits?"

She nodded and went to get some bananas. Before handing slices to Giiza. Giiza happily ate the fruit while they snuck back into the house. She was just in time for Gabriel to open the door and find her safe and sound.

"Thank goodness," he said with a sigh. "I half expected to find this room empty."

"I'm fine I was munching on some fruit. Adrien said I should hide in my room."

Adrien came to the room and let out a sigh of relief. "Right where I left you."

"And yet you weren't in your room," said Gabriel, looking confused. "I checked your room first and you weren't there."

"I was in the kitchen," said Adrien, lying.

"I asked him to get some fruit." Marissa added.

"Oh. Well, I'm glad you're both okay," said Gabriel as he hugged his kids. "And don't worry about Chloe. Andre's thinking about transferring her to another school. Possibly out of Paris."

Marissa nodded.

"That's unfortunate," said Adrien, sighing.

"I know. Unfortunately, there's no real choice. Her bullying record is against her," said Gabriel. He took their hands. "Let's put this evening behind us. How does a film sound? The three of us."

"Sounds great." Marissa said in a calm tone.

"I'd like that," said Adrien.

Gabriel took his kids to the TV and turned on the movie. It was a film about King Arthur and his knights. It was nice to watch a movie together as a family, Adrien felt. Nooroo, Plagg and Giiza even watched from unseen vantage points in the house.

Well for the humans Plagg saw her, his mouth wide open.

"Shh!" Giiza quickly said to him.

He flew over to her. "What are you doing here? Why are you out of the box?"

"My miraculous was stolen. My new holder got it and now we're together," Giiza explained.

"Who in their right mind would ever let you out of that box and use you? There's a reason you're not with us and the other kwamis."

"Like I'd tell you that," Giiza said, crossing her arms. "I'm happy with my person."

"You corrupt your user, Giiza," Plagg said.

"But there is a way to help. I'll tell my person and make sure nothing bad happens. I promise," said Giiza.

"You can't control that, Giiza. You need her to give you back now."

"Oh, so you and Tikki are allowed to be free but I'm not?" Giiza angrily asked. "And Wayzz too?"

"That's not-"

"And what about the mission today?" Giiza argued. "You would've been toast if not for Vesper."

"Giiza, do you want your owner to turn into a twisted version of themselves."

"That won't happen, Plagg!" Giiza argued. "I won't let it."

"You can't control that I said it once I'll say it again tell your owner to give you-"

Marissa picked him up and held him by his scruff. "I'm not giving her up ever. And if you or Fu try to make me I'll make you and every miraculous pay. She's my friend and what you did to her was horrible."

"You?!" Plagg said. "Marissa, we didn't have a choice. People became dangerous and started misusing her power."

She ignored him and picked up Giiza. "Talk to someone who cares about your excuses you could have come up with a solution." She left.

"Sorry if we ruined your night, Marissa," said Giiza.

"It's fine you didn't ruin anything." She patted her head.

"I really do promise to find a solution," said Giiza. "Maybe if we had a kwami of healing or light-"

"Giiza, I don't think you effect me."

"Really?" Giiza asked, surprised.

"Yeah I don't feel anything negative from you nor do I feel like hurting anyone." Marissa smiled petting Giiza's head.

"I'm hoping that's a good sign," said Giiza, smiling. "I'd rather not relive the past."

"I'm sure you won't," said Marissa. "Now, I think we could use some rest."

"Okay! Goodnight!" Giiza said as they got in bed together. The two friends happily fell asleep.
