Okay, so for this story, pretend there was like a day after Allura apologised to Keith and his first mission with the Blades and you have this story. This was very cute to write, I really enjoyed it.

Allura knew Keith wanted to train a little bit longer even after sparring with her and was attempting to get the systems back up and running. Technology was not cooperating with her though and she sighed, the sigh coming out in frustration.

"Just a tic, Keith, it should be working soon," Allura tried to assure her friend who had come to sit beside her. She expected him to reply, to give a small grunt of acknowledge or give a quiet "fine" but instead she felt a weight rest on her shoulder and looked up, seeing Keith's head resting against it, eyes closed.

Her cheeks flushed as she realised, he had fallen asleep while waiting for things to get set up. He must have been tired from when they were sparring together and not told her. Earthlings did get tired much quicker than other species she had seen although Keith was a bit more resilient, possibly due to being half-Galra.

Still, this was like seeing somewhat of a different side to him – almost as if he had let his guard down around her. He has become a lot more comfortable around me since I accepted him. Her heart skipped a beat as she watched him, stomach fluttering a bit. She had never seen him like this before. He always put on such a tough façade, never really letting himself relax. But now, he did look rather adorable like this as he breathed steadily in and out although she knew he would scowl and maybe even flush a bit if she called him cute to his face. A part of her longed to run her fingers through his hair to help him relax a little bit more but she resisted. He wasn't awake for her to ask him if it was okay to do so and she knew Keith tended to value his personal space. She would respect that.

She wished he had told her though that he was this tired so she would have stopped the training right away. Well, at least one good thing had come out of the training equipment not working correctly – Keith was able to get some rest.
