How long have I been walking now?

Through this endless blizzard, days? months? Years? hours?

It never ends, the only respite is the challengers arriving every now and then.

Though the challenge they provide is hardly worth mentioning, they die quickly, their bodies soon being subsumed by the everlasting snow.

Someday I hope I find it, Whatever it was. What was it again?

A sign would be good, or perhaps merely a companion once more.

Soon hopefully, I will meet you again Momonga.

[FIMBUL]

[North-Eastern territory of the Demi-Humans 287 A.A (After Ascendancy]

Along these barren wastes no life truly prospered except a wandering tribe or two of the beastmen, The torrid heat made life hard for those who seeked to seek out a life in these parts. Even though this usually was the case, just north you would have a population almost four times as large as those who lived on these plains. They mostly consisted of raiders, bandits or simply slave traders. Beastmen raiding what would come to be the kingdom of Re-Estize or the Slane theocracy, Slavetraders seeking to spirit away able bodies to sell and simple bandits profiting on both these groups if they got the chance.

This however changed one day, No longer was the heat even there exchanged for the biting cold of a blizzard stretching across the whole eastern territory and all who dared to enter it, never left alive. The reason for the existence of this blizzard waried, in the Slane theocracy they saw this blizzard as a sign from the Gods, a punishment for the Beastmen. The beastmen merely relocated further west or further south, as living close to the borders of both the human kingdoms was merely easier if they ever fell for a snack.

Though rumors started to spread among all the kingdoms, that inside of the blizzard was a divine artifact, one capable of controlling the weather itself as easily as you breathe. A legion of Mercenaries descended upon the former Eastern territory now called the Frozen plains. None emerged after entering it, although rebuffed by the high mortality rate it became common for those who have nothing left to lose to try and explore the frozen plains. For a divine artifact was if nothing else priceless in value.

This kept on for decades, until finally one mercenary emerged alive, bearing stories of a being of untold horror living inside of the blizzard and so stopped the Frozen Gold Rush. Only the greatest of mercenaries and heroes dared to enter the frozen plains but only one would ever leave unschated, Evileye one of the Thirteen heroes. After her miraculous deed and retellings of what transpired within the frozen plains it was decreed by the Slane Theocracy, that whatever wicked being resided inside of the blizzard, it was most certainly an Evil Deity. Unbeknownst to them the Evil Deities agreed for they know who it was after all, the bane of PK`ers, Hel´s chosen, the solo player Mori-Chan~~

AUTHORS NOTE

So yeah, tried my hand at something i never done before. Dont know if you guys will like it or not.

I may continue it, im not entirely sure yet.

The idea behind this was bascially what if someone Momonga knew came centuries before his own arrival to the new world and what that could mean for him, Nazarick and the New world.

English is not my first language, so i hope you can overlook any grammatic errors you may find.

Overlord is the property of the author Murayama, I do not own it.
