A/N: I have written a thing.
Underworld, Gremory Mansion
"Hmm? What do you mean Papa? Why do I have to marry that jerk?" a ten-year-old Rias crossed her arms with a frown as she sat on a plush chair in front of her father.
Dressed in a puffy blue dress, she looked every bit the portrait of a pampered princess, even if her rash and bratty attitude spoiled the image.
Zeoticus Gremory pursed his lips before sighing.
He had agreed to be the one to bring the news to his daughter because he knew Venelana would not be able to without breaking down in tears. Had it been up to him, he'd have granted his little girl all the freedom she'd have desired but his hand had been forced through political pressure from the other pillars.
It was either having Rias marry another full-blooded, high-class devil or to paint bigger targets on their backs than the ones they made when Sirzechs became one of the Satans and became free of the political nonsense the other families wanted to put him through.
So with a heavy heart, he decided to risk sacrificing his daughter's happiness to avoid a more dire future.
"Riser isn't that bad sweetie, he's… well… he's like a prince, don't you like princes?" He tried with a shaky smile.
"Princes are supposed to be kind to girls! All Riser does is be mean to me and Akeno-chan! I don't want to marry someone like that!" Little Rias jumped down from her seat and stomped a foot on the ground in anger.
"You have to understand Rias, it's for the greater good of our kind." The red-haired man got on one knee and looked at his daughter with a smile.
"B-but... " The girl stuttered as she looked at the ground.
The next words she uttered almost broke the man.
"What about my greater good?" She whispered in sadness, her hands trembling as she shut her eyes in a vain effort to let any tears away.
Before Zeoticus could reach for her, the girl turned away and ran to her room to cry in her room.
Rias' room
"Rias? Are you okay?" the voice of a young girl echoed from outside the large doors.
"Mmkay Akeno" was the red-haired girl's reply.
Akeno Himejima was a friend of Rias, one that the Gremory heiress had found by chance and protected from an unjust execution, allowing the girl to live in the mansion with her and eventually forging an unbreakable bond of friendship together.
With that said, Akeno had heard her friend running and crying in the hall back to her room before she entered it and slammed the door behind her. Using a spare key, the young maid entered the room and found her best friend lying on the bed, crying into the sheets.
Something that rang alarms in the blackette's head.
"Rias!" Akeno exclaimed as she ran to the redhead's side, "What happened? What's wrong?" she asked as she sat next to the heiress and hugged her.
Rias was trembling, and the only sounds she made were hiccups and whimpers, further alarming her friend.
"Rias, please, I can't help you don't tell me what's wrong!" Akeno pleaded while patting the girl's head.
The heiress continued crying for a few minutes, while the maid settled for giving her comfort, letting her get comfortable to speak.
"I… Daddy he-" Rias finally said, her voice quivering as she struggled to speak while Akeno continued soothing her.
"He… he said I had to m-m-marry Riser" she stuttered out while the maid's eyes widened in shock.
She knew very well who that stupid boy was.
"That dummy? He's not good for you!" Akeno asked with a frown.
"That's what I said! H-he doesn't care! Riser's a meanie and calls me names! Daddy even said he's like a prince!" the redhead wailed as she looked at her friend, eyes a puffy red and face flushed in anger.
"Ewwww! That jerk?" the blackette reeled back in disgust.
Riser? A Prince? As if!
"I knowww!" Rias buried her head in her pillows again in frustration.
Some time passed as Akeno digested the situation, before asking the obvious question.
"What are you going to do about it?"
Rias was startled, clearly not expecting this, and looked at her friend incredulously.
"I don't know if I can do anything Akeno! I'm just a kid and it's all political and junk!" the heiress punched her bed for emphasis.
Akeno paused and adopted a thinking expression, "Hmmm…"
The redhead heard her friend and turned to see her contemplating something.
"What are you thinking of?" she decided to ask the maid.
The blackette brushed a hand through her long hair and her eyes twinkled as she seemed to get an idea.
"It's just… if you're gonna get married anyway, then you could at least make sure Riser isn't a bully anymore?" Akeno suggested.
Rias blinked owlishly.
"Ehhh? How do I do that?"
"How abooout..."
X gon' give it to ya (what)
Fuck waiting for you to get it on your own, X gon' deliver to ya (uh)
Knock knock, open up the door, it's real
With the non-stop, pop-pop of stainless steel
A fourteen-year-old Rias had a determined expression on her face as she sat back on a bench and lifted a barbell. Clad in workout attire, she completed her reps while Akeno, dressed similarly, spotted her.
Both young teenagers had started showing visible signs of muscles on their previously lithe bodies. The results of their training were obvious.
As Rias finished her reps, Akeno had her turn before they shifted to decline push-ups.
Go hard, getting busy wit it
But I got such a good heart
That I'll make the motherfucker wonder if he did it
Damn right, and I'll do it again (yeah)
'Cause I am right so I gots to win
Years passed as both girls continued getting stronger, practicing their magic, working out and building up their power, even going as far as to ask Sirzechs to get them some of Lord Beelzebub's potions.
At the age of seventeen, the two devils could be seen walking around Kuoh amidst the admiration of both young men and women who were either infatuated with their beauty or looked up to them for their powerful physique and classy demeanors.
Rias looked at Akeno from the corner of her eyes and her Queen met her King's gaze. Both nodded to one another as a fire lit in their eyes, showing the same determination that had taken them this far.
Break bread with the enemy (what)
But no matter how many cats I break bread with I'll break who you sendin'
Riser was ecstatic.
The big day had come.
His wedding was to be a grand event, with most if not all of the remaining thirty-three pillars of the Underworld were in attendance. With the prestige his name and the name of his fiancé held, it was to be expected!
The Phenex heir couldn't wait to get this ceremony done with and get properly acquainted with his new wife, the beautiful and graceful Rias Gremory.
A young lady who stood as the perfect definition of class and poise. A cold and enchanting beauty whose walls he was eager to tear down to find without a doubt, the vulnerable and loving Rias underneath.
That and she was hot. There was that too.
With a smug grin, he stood on the large stage that would put him at the center of attention for tonight and addressed his audience.
"I would like to thank everyone for coming tonight! It is by no exaggeration that I believe this wedding will ensure a great future for all of Devilki-"
CRASH
The blond man jumped and whirled around to see the source of the noise, only to see his so-called delicate fiancé looking the very opposite of delicate.
Dressed in a torn white wedding dress, the previously beautiful girl had turned into a musclebound woman with biceps the size of Riser's thigh and had come crashing through the right wall like the Kool-Aid Man.
Oh dear, he better salvage the situation quickly!
"Ohooo~ Rias I didn't know you were that eager to-" he began before being abruptly cut off.
CRASH
A similarly irate Akeno, dressed in torn priestess robes came through the wall on the other side of the stage.
The blond heir looked at both approaching ladies in shock.
"Rias? Akeno? What are you-" a fist to the cheek from the Gremory heiress cut his question short and sent him reeling to the blackette, who in turn flipped him and kneed him in the stomach.
"Ugh! Stupid motherfucker!" Akeno yelled as she held him up.
"Stupid biiitch!" Rias used the opening and delivered a powerful glowing punch to his gut, one that somehow negated his healing.
A knee from the Queen to his tailbone followed, then another punch to the face from the redhead.
The audience stood in silence as they witnessed the brutal beatdown, both ladies continuing to hurl insults at the blond man who was as helpless as a ragdoll between them.
Finally, Riser was thrown to the ground, beaten black and blue, and could only spare the energy to ask one question.
"...why?"
Rias grabbed him by the front of his now dirty tux brought him up to her face, and spoke her answer, "Because I'm not going to pay a horrible price!"
With her piece said, she feinted a punch, making the man flinch with a whimper before dropping him down.
Both young ladies proceeded to spit on the beaten man, before leaving from the hole they made, choosing to ignore the gaping audience…
… and the tent in Riser's pants.
"Harder Mommy~" the man said through his split lip.
A/N: I regret nothing.
