It's been two days since Junior went missing. Well, not "missing" in the direst sense of the word but it's been a while since he showed up to play with Esther, actually it's been a while since anyone saw him, nor Edval nor Malvus has seen their "friend" after their last encounter. And it has become a frequent subject lately.

"I told you, Esther, we've looked around but nothing. Gildorf, Silverton, Temple Isle…I couldn't find him. He never skips candy Wednesdays." Edval exclaimed in a low tone as he grip on his overall's straps, something the boy would do whenever he's anxious - "Maybe he got sick or something"

"Yeah right, Cyprian can't get sick. You know what they say…only the good die young." Malvus replied while sitting down on the front stairs of an abandoned house, it was the usual place the group would gather for "important meetings" or planning of crucial schemes. It was 4 in the afternoon, the sun was preparing to kiss the horizon in a few minutes and still, the boys didn't get to a conclusion, Esther, on the other hand, would ponder silently, her arms crossed while her back rested on the house's unstable wall, the trio diverted in their own resolutions. - " Why even bother? Did you guys forget who we are talking about? Wiley probably got himself into some big trouble and won't show up for a while." Malvus exclaimed, it has always been clear that from everyone in the group he was the one who avoided Wiley the most, he didn't despise the boy, but it was clear in the details of his action that he wasn't a big fan of Wiley, more than that, he was afraid of him, always averting his gaze when he was around and preferred to pair up with anyone else but him in games. Edval fidgeted with his fingers, he noticed Esther had restricted herself from any comments even though it was clear she was the most worried.

"Come on now, it's candy Wednesday and we need to hurry before the stands are closed." Malvus added, now standing up and approaching the duo, and with each step, the contrast between their heights was more evidenced, what the boy didn't have in size was made for in attitude when Cyprian wasn't around - "And I heard they brought Ofirian fire drops last week! You can't miss it, it's your favorite." Esther would raise her eyes to meet Malvus, a slight smirk formed on the right side of her lips - "You two go ahead. I forgot something at home…"

The two boys looked confused for a few seconds, the manner in which Esthe disregarded the promise of treats was quite unusual - "Oh, okay. Hope you don't mind if we start without you tho, I really need those raspberry cakes." Edval let out in excitement at the thought of munching on some of his favorite cakes, almost licking his lips, Malvus on the other hand didn't quite trust Esther's words - "Hm. Don't take too long." He remarked as they exchanged an awkward look, deep inside the boy knew his friend was up to something, but he also knew it would prove fruitless to make any effort to inquiry or change her mind. The duo rushes out of their secret headquarters, aiming at the main square to conquest their sweets.

The girl would brush her strawberry blonde hair away from her face, her mind struggled with the thought of losing Cyprian to a stupid prank she played on him last time they saw each other, she couldn't recall what else could have happened for him to disappear so fast, she couldn't phantom that he'd chose to not look for them on purpose…why he didn't send a letter? Any sign that he was still alive or something?

There was only one way to know. One place left to look.
