The next chapter is posted! Enjoy :)
The man known as Ajax shoved Aimee into the backseat of his cruiser. He took the chain that was linked to her handcuffs and looped it around a handle in back. Before he pressed the button to close the door, she found the courage to speak up.
"Where are we going?" Aimee feebly asked.
He gave her a creepy grin, "Why, we are going home, My Dear."
That was all he said, before the door slid shut sealing her in. Aimee's fear was really starting to escalate at this point. It was pointless but she started tugging at the restraints. She didn't want to go anywhere with this disgusting creep. Who knows what he has planned for her. Though she sadly had a good idea. She heard many horror stories from those who were lucky enough to survive and be rescued.
Many were treated like slaves. Forced into labor and doing chores. All while having to warm their 'Masters' bed whenever he saw fit. It was literal Hell on Earth for these poor people. With their so called masters being revered by them as the Devil Himself. There were plenty of times Aimee was brought to tears by some of their stories. Especially, the younger ones who were still little more than children.
Aimee didn't stop worrying the restraints that held her. Until her wrists started to become raw and she needed to stop. It really was futile, there was no way she'd be able to get out of the metal cuffs restraining her. She drew her attention to the view outside quickly passing by. They were traveling at a decent speed through the dilapidated city. Broken down buildings zipped by in a blur as well as some of it's citizens that lined the sidewalks.
He barely stopped, even when he breezed through a few intersections and Aimee almost thought for sure they were going to get hit by other cruisers. It's either this is how he always drives or he's in a big ass hurry to get home. She started to believe it was a little bit of both.
After several minutes, the buildings were becoming less and less. As if they were now going through a less populated area of the city. Sure enough, the buildings left her line of sight soon after and they were now on an open road going through what looked like a desert. Aimee turned and looked out the rear windshield and saw the city now behind them. It was quickly pulling further and further away.
Hope was starting to ebb away from her as they drew further out into the unknown. It was a scary notion knowing that this guy for all she knew possibly lived out in the middle of nowhere. If this is the case, then escaping would no longer be the hardest part. But as to where the hell she could go when and if she could escape him. She will most likely get lost out here just trying to find her way back to civilization.
Eventually, Aimee's gaze was drawn up to the sky. It was near dusk now and the stars were starting to glimmer in the darkening sky. She was holding onto that last bit of hope that Frieza will find her and come for her. She can't believe the thought crossed her mind, but she feels like she'd be better off with the Galactic Emperor than with this brute. She can feel it, this man had a sinister streak to him. Something that will prove even more dangerous to her life.
As he continued to speed down the dirt road through the desert, Aimee never took her eyes from the night sky. Like she was waiting to see any sign of a familiar space ship. As time went by, a few stray tears rolled down her cheeks. When she continued to see only a dark starry sky with an unusual orange colored moon.
Meanwhile with Frieza...
Bright fiery lights surrounded the craft as he traveled through the reddish planet's atmosphere. Something that only took around three minutes to do. Before the turbulence lessened and the flames around the craft disappeared, signaling he successfully made it through. He could see the decrepit city far off in the distance to his right. So he turned the cruiser and headed straight for it.
Frieza knew where he was going. He was told what this 'Shark's Den' looked like and that it wasn't too hard to miss. Once he gets there, he was going to raise hell on Shar and everyone else in there. But first, he would have to find a safe place to land.
Back with Aimee...
She fiddled with her skirt nervously as the ride continued. Even though the cruiser was going fast, it was a surprisingly very smooth ride. It was still mostly endless desert that past by. 'Just how far out did this guy live!?'
Aimee was getting restless just sitting there and frustrated that she couldn't do more to try and free herself. There was no way for her to get her hands through the cuffs though. She knows, because she has tried repeatedly to twist her wrists and hands through the openings. She glared down at the metal restraints, wishing she had away to get the key.
Had she looked up from her lap, Aimee would've noticed that the desert gradually faded away and a few establishments starting dotting the landscape. It's only when she saw flashes of light pass the windows on either side of the vehicle did she finally look up. The flashing lights came from what could only be street lights outside that lined the road.
Unlike individual street lamps though, these lights were connected. Like one elongated light that slithered down the stretch of road. They weren't all that bright either. Instead, they kind of reminded her of UV Lights. They had a dim bluish white glow to them. The establishments they were passing had lights on too. Each one all varied in different shapes and sizes. She couldn't really tell if they were currently in another city or possibly a town.
Yet, it gave her hope that he will stop here and not continue forward until there was nothing but open desert again. In a place like this, she may have more of a chance to escape and hopefully find help. Maybe, Aimee will be able to find a way to contact Frieza's Ship. Surely there was some place here that kept in contact with ships in space. Perhaps someone would be nice enough to point her in that direction.
She was getting ahead of herself though. First, Aimee needed to find a way to escape this bastard, before she could make her next move. He made a few turns here and there until he slowed down and came to a stop. When she peered out on of the side windows, she noticed what looked like a gate. From what she could see, it was a pretty tall one too; with an equally tall fence on either side of it.
The gate and fence were not your ordinary type though. Instead of being made out of some type of metal, they looked to be made out of bands of light that stretched horizontally on top of one another in a long lengthy perimeter.
Ajax put in his code for the gate and it opened up for him to allow him entrance. Several meters back, was his mansion. Aimee watched as they sped through the gate and when she looked through the back windshield, she watched as the gate quickly reformed and closed up. It too was made up of the same glowing horizontal bands of light.
He pulled up to his home in a few short minutes, before pulling up in front. Ajax got out of the cruiser and went to the back for his prize. Aimee jumped slightly when one of the back doors suddenly slid open and revealed him standing there. Without warning, he reached in and grabbed the chain. He quickly unwound it from the handle and roughly jerked her out of the cruiser.
Aimee almost lost her footing and fell when he did this. Then he grabbed her by the arm and started pulling her towards his front door. On the way, she noticed someone in uniform waiting off to the side. He tossed them his keys and he barked at them to go park his cruiser in the garage. They nodded and headed straight for the cruiser they just exited.
As the man in was pulling away in the cruiser, Ajax opened the front door, and led them inside the hulking mansion. No sooner did the door close, he sharply turned to her and started barking out some orders.
"I will give you your list of chores to do. You will also be in charge of preparing my meals." He instructed.
Before she could stop herself, Aimee said the one thing she probably shouldn't have.
"And if I refuse?" She asked boldly.
His eyes turned stormy and he growled. Faster than she could blink, Aimee felt pain shoot through the left side of her face. She yelped and fell to the ground, gripping her sore cheek. Ajax roughly grabbed her chin and tilted her face up to meet his.
"Then there will be severe consequences. You will do best to follow the rules. Understood, you little bitch?" He snapped.
Tears stung the corner of her eyes as she continued to glare up at him. A part of her still shocked he struck her like that. This is how she knew things will be even worse. Because no matter how bad things had got, Aimee doesn't recall a time that Frieza had struck out at her. Even when there were times she was sure he would; he didn't.
She was brought out of her reverie, when she felt pain again. This time, he had struck the right side of her face. It was again with enough force to send her sprawling to the floor.
"When I ask you something, I expect an answer." He snapped.
Her whole face felt like it was on fire. She answered him though, in hopes that he won't hit her again.
"Yes, I understand." Aimee weakly replied.
He grabbed her chin again to get her full attention once more.
"You will address me as Master." He instructed.
She didn't say anything to this. Just continued to stare. He gripped her chin more harshly.
"Say it!" He snapped, startling her.
Aimee pursed her lips as a couple tears rolled down her cheeks.
"Yes...Master." She finally said.
His lips twisted into a pleased grin.
"Good. Now get up." He ordered.
Aimee slowly got up. When she did, she saw someone scurrying about to her left out of the corner of her eye. Ajax sharply looked that way as well.
"You, take her to her quarters. I want you to draw her a bath and lay out some clothes for her." He barked.
The person in question came into view. Aimee noticed it to be a young woman...No, a girl. By the looks of it, she didn't look any older than fourteen years old. She was dressed quite scantily and she quickly bowed her head and averted her gaze to the floor.
"Yes, Master." She said in a light voice.
The young girl slightly averted her gaze to Aimee.
"Come with me, Miss." She said to her.
Aimee approached her and the girl gestured for her to follow her. The young human woman did just that. She quickly glanced behind her to see if that crazy bastard was following them. She saw that he didn't. Ajax continued to stand there and watch them go. That disturbing grin never left his face. She redirected her attention to her front, not wanting to look at him any longer.
The young alien girl led her up a lengthy flight of stairs. Aimee looked around the place, obviously the guy was loaded. At least to have a place like this he was. The girl didn't say a word as she continued leading them up the stairs. It felt like minutes before they reached the top. When they did, she was led down a large corridor. Several doors lined the length of the hall and every few feet there were some glass tables with exotic plants lining them.
In a way, this place kind of reminded her of the Beast's Castle from Beauty & The Beast. Only more updated and advanced, like a very futuristic version of the castle. Except in this case, the beast that lived here really was a heartless monster, and not some selfish spoiled, cursed prince.
They finally came to a stop at one of the large doors on the right side of the hall. The thick door slid open, allowing both girls in. Aimee followed the girl in.
"Right this way." She said.
The girl led Aimee to another door off to the side of the spacious bedroom. Of course, the room was just as luxurious as the rest of the place that she has seen so far. The other door slid open for them as they entered. It was an almost equally large bathroom. With a nice size in ground tub. Which was where they came to a stop.
"Please undress, while I start running the bath." She instructed.
Before Aimee could reply, the girl turned her attention back to the tub and turned the water on.
"I will go fetch you your outfit. So you will have it when you finish up in here. Try not to take too long." She continued without making any eye contact with the older human woman.
When the young girl went to leave, Aimee grasped her forearm. This caused the girl to gasp and flinch. Aimee quickly released her, when she realized she startled her.
"I'm sorry, didn't mean to startle you. It's just, I have a few questions." Aimee said.
The girl gave her a quick glance, before averting her gaze elsewhere.
"Can...can they wait? I really need to get you situated. Otherwise, he will be mad if we're late getting back to our tasks." She muttered.
Aimee frowned slightly. She wanted to say no, it couldn't wait. Until she saw how frightened the girl was if she were to anger this man.
"Alright, but before you go can I at least get your name?" Aimee asked.
The girl seemed a tad surprised that she even asked such a question.
"Geeta. My name is Geeta. Please though, Miss. I have to go." She said, a bit rushed.
Aimee nodded, "Thanks, I'm Aimee by the way."
Geeta gave her a quick nod, "Pleasure to meet you."
Before she quickly rushed out so that she may get Aimee some new clothing.
Now alone, Aimee turned back to the tub. Which was nearly full. She really didn't want a bath. Nor did she want any new clothes. Especially if they were going to be as skimpy as the ones Geeta was wearing.
She flinched as she still felt the soreness on her face from where he hit her. It reminded her that she may not have a choice. Unless she were to get pummeled again, she will have to follow through with his orders...for now at least.
With Frieza...
He found what appeared to be an old abandoned building and landed the mini cruiser on the roof. Frieza exited the cruiser and looked around the area. The tyrant spotted the place he was looking for. Just like the cruiser's navigator showed, the tall building was in the Northeast section of the city. It stuck out like a sore thumb too, seeing as it toward over most of the other surrounding structures. Unlike the other establishments here, it was black in color, an odd contrast to the other brightly lit buildings.
Frieza leapt off the roof and flew towards that location. In hopes of finally locating her. Unbeknownst to him, that Aimee has already been moved to another location further away.
Until Next Time ;)
