"Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!" a blurred body flew past the window's view as another guardian's body jumped off the tower. "Isn't that the third body today?" Asked Eris as she glanced down calmly as the body slammed into the concert floor down below. "Moondust, that is two. Once guardian jumped off twice to prove a point, I think." So pointed out the Drifter as she leaned against the bookcase in Zavala's office, sipping on a mug of black coffee. Eris turned around with a raised brow and then looked back for a moment. "Did you hear about that report the other day?" Drifter paused as he looked up and hummed for a moment.
"Are you talking about that gamming event with a horse?" His tone seemed to indicate how absurd it was. "That would be it, yes." She nodded as she glanced at him and moved towards the desk. "Yeah, yeah, It seems there are a few guardians that are talking about it." The mischievous-looking man took a healthy gulp of his coffee. "Seems there might be some truth in it but is Xur really involved?" The Drifter asked, more like he was phishing for information himself
"Xur involved in what?" Asked Ikora as she walked in, she headed towards a small station set up for coffee and tea. "Oh, Ikroa, we were talking about the competitions the guardians are talking about." The warlock calmly fixed her tea and looked over at the two with a smirk. "Oh, that myth?" She said as she turned around finally with a cup of tea.
"Well, not so sure about that Warlock Mo-" Drifter stopped himself as he noticed Ikora looking right through him. "I… I mean Ikora." Eris just remained silent, listening intently. "Do we have proof?" Ikea asked in a calm but curious tone. Drift walked over to the station and refilled his coffee. He looked over and then back at his coffee. "Besides that Unicorn drawing that one Titan drew on his report?"
"Celestial horse." Said Ikora and Eris in unison. The Drifted paused before taking his sip and looked at them both with a smirk on his face. "Well, I suppose it does sounds Off the top." He started to agree with them. "Just like your stories?" Eris made a sharp jab at him, her full lips slightly curling into a smirk of her own. Drifter blinked and took another sip of his coffee.
"WHOOOAAAAAHhhhhhhh!!!!! TOO FAST!"
There was another body falling past the window. "I really hope there is no one on the bottom. Said a softer voice as Crow walked and looked at everyone. "Oh, they roped it off before this was finished. They didn't want a repeat of what happened at the old tower." Ikora said as she sipped her coffee. "Still talking about that report that Saladin is grumpy about?" Crow asked as he strolled over to a corner to lean against and crossed his arms over his chest.
"When isn't that Iron lord not Grumpy?" the Drifter asked as he looked out at the window. "Fair." The hunter said as he looked around the room at the others. "I saw a warlock walking around with a strange blade saying it was from the event." The others looked at him and then turned around. "I wonder what other prizes you can get from that game."
"GLORY, HONOR and THE THRILL-"
A booming voice cut through the conversation like a missile strike. "No, Shaxx, Not the crucible." Ikora cut him off. Shaxx looked a bit stunned that it wasn't the Crucible people were talking about. "Well, Surely it is not that Awful Gambit game." Drifter but his muff down. "Whoa! I have, you know."
"You do realize you are both in an argument over something that doesn't exist." The hunter that had watched everything unfolded. Both the men backed off. "Of course, a myth…. But that drawing was pretty good." Shaxx pointed out as he grabbed an energy drink and put a straw in it. He raised it and started to drink it with the helmet on.
"AAHHH!!!!!!!!!! WHHHHYYYYYYY?"
A warlock body flew off in the distance. "EXCELLENT WORK! I WILL SEE YOU IN THE CRUCIBLE!" Shaxx said with enthusiasm. "Say, does he have a volume control on his voice?" Drift whispered over at Eris.
