Chapter 1: Diagon Alley
"Not too far, Hermione!" McGonagall called as Hermione left the bookstore.
"Yes Professor!" Hermione called back.
Hermione stayed where McGonagall could keep her eye on her. She looked around trying to find Harry. That was when she saw him with Harry. Hermione smiled.
"Harry." Hermione smiled hugely as Harry walked up to her.
"Hello Hermione." Harry said, smiling.
"What did you do to your glasses?" Hermione sighed. She then flicked her wand, saying a spell, Harry's glasses were repaired.
"Hermione. Your mother wanted-"
Hermione turned once she noticed Harry's eyes narrow. Hermione smiled kindly at the Potions Master.
"Yes sir?" Hermione asked.
Snape shook off the anger he had. How could his goddaughter be friends with Potter?
"Your mother wants you back in the store, my dear." Snape said.
"Yes sir."
Hermione headed back into the store. Harry close in tow. Snape stared down the boy as he followed them in.
"Thank you, Severus." McGonagall said.
"You're welcome, Minerva." Snape said.
"So it is true!" Ron exclaimed.
Hermione turned to the red headed boy. "What's true?"
"You are indeed Dumbledore's long lost daughter."
Hermione folded her arms across her chest. "Does that bother you, Ronald?"
Ron looked away. Harry rolled his eyes. He turned his attention to Hermione.
"No it doesn't bother us. Right Ron?"
"Yeah."
Hermione rolled her eyes. Their attention was brought to the blonde headed wizard named Gilderoy Lockhart. Hermione was super excited to meet him. She was going to get all of her books signed. Snape whispered in McGonagall's ear.
After Hermione's books were signed, she headed out to see her Godfather. She was a little curious to see him talking to Mr. Malfoy. Snape wrapped an arm around Hermione's shoulder, pulling her close to him.
"So the rumors are true. She is back." Lucius said.
"Yes." Snape said, staring down his best friend.
Lucius smirked at Snape. He had Draco follow him.
