Hizashi Yamada vs. the vampire convent
Chapter one: Come little children, I'll take thee away, into a land of enchantment
Hizashi Yamada was getting back from a snack run to a store off of UA campus. The night was a little stormy, with a mild sprinkle. The dull din of thunder sounded in the distance as the loud pro hero made his way through the mild sprinkle. The lights from nearby streetlights providing the only source of illumination that Hizashi had to navigate his way through the dark as he walked towards the imposing but assuring campus of UA High School.
"Man, wish that I knew ahead of time that there would be this sprinkle," Hizashi remarked aloud but to himself, "I'd of brought my umbrella. And nerts to Sho for dissing it just because it shows-"
Hizashi stopped short upon seeing a small child about ten meters ahead of him, standing on the sidewalk under the light of a streetlight. The child's back was to Hizashi, and the child's head was hung. However, Hizashi was still able to make out that the child was a boy wearing a distinctive hat that Hizashi remembered seeing once before. There was no mistaking that hat, and no mistaking the boy who owned said hat.
"Hey, that's Mandalay's little cousin Kota," Hizashi said, picking up the pace to get close to the lone Kota. "Hey lil' buddy," Hizashi said, "Why are you out here in the-"
"*HIIIIIIIIIIIISSSSSSSSS*"
Hizashi was taken by surprise when Kota, upon hearing him, turned around and hissed at him, his mouth opened wide to reveal long pointed fangs and Kota's eyes were glowing a sinister shade of crimson red. "VAMPIRE!" Hizashi screamed in fright as vampire Kota hissed again before jumping up and flying right at the loud pro hero, tackling him down which made Hizashi drop the groceries he was carrying in the process.
Hizashi grabbed vampire Kota by both wrists and pushed him away as hard as he could. But Kota, despite being a little boy, was still a vampire, and his vampiric strength was letting him keep up with Hizashi who is a grown man. Just as vampire Kota began overpowering Hizashi, someone came rushing on in and bound Kota up tight. Looking up, Hizashi saw that his savoir was his co-worker at UA High School, Shouta Aizawa.
"Sho, dude!" Hizashi said, "I'd be vampire food now if it wasn't for you! You saved my ass!"
"Just help me keep this vampire kid bound before he can be thrown into an indestructible wrought iron cage that the support course made!" Aizawa said as he struggled with the bound but struggling vampire Kota, "We need to get Kota here to a secure location so that we don't have to worry about him while trying to figure out how to solve this mess!" Hizashi, after gathering his groceries, went on to help Aizawa with taking the bound vampire Kota back to UA.
...
Back at UA, Hizashi and Aizawa, along with Sekijiro, Hound Dog, Toshinori, Cementoss, Muzan, the Demon Slayer crew, Dark Shadow, Kirishima, and Tetsutetsu, were all in Gym Gamma, where the cage holding vampire Kota was being kept. To Hizashi's shock, there were also cages holding Eri, Mahoro, Katsuma, and an unidentified girl who looked to be six to seven years of age. Each kid was in a separate cage, and all of them, same as Kota, were now vampires.
"...H-how..." Toshinori said, looking and sounding heartbroken, "...How did this happen to all of the children here...?"
"*HIIIIIIIIIIIISSSSSSSSS*" the unidentified little girl hissed vampirically at the former Symbol of Peace, "Like we'd ever betray the head vampire, bony human!"
Looking at the unidentified little girl, Hizashi asked, "Umm, who the hell is that little lady?"
"You remember my student Asui?" Aizawa said, "Yeah, that little girl you're asking about is Asui's little sister Satsuki."
"*HIIIIIIIIIIIISSSSSSSSS*" the now identified Satsuki hissed vampirically again, this time at Aizawa, "You will address her as big sis, hobo human! Big brother and I will demand proper respect to be paid to big sis!"
Tanjiro, with a mildly concerned look, said in a confused tone, "Big brother?"
Aizawa nodded once. "I met Asui's family when All Might and I went to visit families to let them know about the dorm system way back when. Asui has two younger siblings, six year old sister Satsuki here, and ten year old Samidare who is as of right now unaccounted for."
"Oh shit!" Muzan exclaimed, clapping his hands to the sides of his head, "There's a potential sixth vampire unaccounted for! Game over, man, game over!"
"*HIIIIIIIIIIIISSSSSSSSS*" vampire Satsuki hissed at the humans and one demon, "Daddy took big brother with him on a camping trip that daddy's company is having. Big brother hasn't been given immortality yet."
"*HIIIIIIIIIIIISSSSSSSSS*" vampire Eri hissed, "We shall spread the gift of eternal life to everyone!"
"*HIIIIIIIIIIIISSSSSSSSS*" vampire Mahoro hissed, "Soon no one will have to worry about being turned into mindless undead! Our patron mistress will see to that!"
The humans and Muzan all looked surprised. "...Your mistress," Hound Dog began, "Who I'm going to be assuming is the ultimate boss vampire here, is turning others into vampires because she thinks it'll keep them from being turned into zombies?"
Vampire Katsuma nodded in confirmation. "Yeah, if you're one kind of undead already, then you can't be turned into another. And since vampires are fully sentient and are for the most part able to control themselves, they're a vastly superior alternative to being zombies."
Cementoss looked at vampire Katsuma with a curious look. "...I'm surprised you didn't hiss at us, unlike the girls."
"They think it makes them scarier to humans," vampire Kota explained.
Pointing at vampire Kota, Hizashi asked, "Then why did you hiss at me earlier?"
"You startled me," vampire Kota clarified, "I typically don't hiss at humans regularly."
Turning to look at the others, Cementoss said, "Guys, I think that the ultimate boss vampire involved here was ultimately motivated by how most of the first year hero course students were turned into zombies then killed before they could spread beyond UA grounds."
"But how would the ultimate boss vampire find out about that?" Toshinori asked, "Everyone in the know about that has been sworn to secrecy. Even Hizashi's friend Luci had promised to keep word of what happened under wraps."
Aizawa arched a wry eyebrow, arms crossed over his chest. "...Can we really trust him? I mean Luci is literally the devil hims-"
"As I had explained to Toshinori, mortal," Luci said to Aizawa as he stepped out of a suddenly appearing pillar of fire, "One of the many things I am is a man of my word. I assure you that I didn't tell a soul about the damage that resulted from my good chum Hizashi performing that ritual in my name a short while ago."
As the devil walked over to him, Hizashi said, "Luci, bro, dude! Boy am I glad you're here!"
Luci looked to the caged vampire children, regarded them with a dry look, then turned back to face Hizashi. "...Ah, I see that the mess that Nezu made four-and-a-half years ago had finally decided to rear its ugly head."
"Ah yes, I remember you mentioning something about Nezu having- wait, wait, wait," Aizawa said, stopping short mid sentence, "Nezu's mess he made four-and-a-half years ago involved vampires?"
"And how does this connect to All For One," Toshinori asked rhetorically as he folded his arms over his chest, "Who apparently is worried about vampires?"
"To answer Aizawa's question," Luci began, "You'll have to drill Nezu himself for answers. As for All Might's question..." Shrugging, the devil replied, "...Sorry, I'm as stumped as you are."
Aizawa scoffed bitterly. "Drilling Nezu for answers. Easier said than done, he'll never talk."
Hizashi arched a wry eyebrow. "...Challenge accepted."
...
A few moments later, Hizashi brought Nezu into Gym Gamma. Upon seeing the vampire children in the cages, Nezu asked, "Why are there children wearing fake vampire fangs in those cages hissing at all of us?"
"Those kids were turned into actual vampires, Principal Nezu," Kirishima explained.
The principal of UA laughed in good humor. "Oh, that's a good one, Kirishima. That's a good one."
Gesturing to the cages, Hizashi replied, "Actually, Kirishima's right, sir. Those kids have been turned into vampires."
Nezu laughed again. "Now now, I think we've joked around enough. We ought to let the children out of the cages."
"*HIIIIIIIIIIIISSSSSSSSS*" vampire Mahoro hissed at Nezu, "If I'm let out, you'll be the first I attack to suck dry of your blood!"
"There's no need to play along with the joke, children," Nezu said, "I'm sure you just want to get out of those cages and stop playing pretend."
Vampire Kota looked up at the others. "...Do any of you have a knife?"
Pulling his hunting knife out, Aizawa said, "I have a hunting knife. Why?"
Sticking his left arm out of the cage, vampire Kota said, "Cut my arm so I can demonstrate my vampiric regeneration to the enlightened animal. He should be able to know that my quirk doesn't involve super fast healing, so it'll help to make him realize the truth."
"Shouta, don't you dare cut little Kota!" Nezu ordered in a firm tone.
Rolling his eyes, Luci said as he took Aizawa's hunting knife, "Damn Nezu, learn to own up for once in your life." Luci then went over to vampire Kota and cut the upper side of his arm, rending a decent cut that bled a little.
"Oh my goodness, Kota!" Nezu exclaimed, "Satan, how dare you-" Vampire Kota's cut then healed up in a little under a second, as if the cut never happened. "..." For the first time in as long as he could remember, Nezu was stunned silent. "...It could just be a mutation of his quirk that had just-"
"Nezu, give it up already, geez!" Dark Shadow said, "Luci already told us about something you did four-and-a-half years ago!"
Nezu gasped in shock. "He told you about the deal I made with Loki while drunk?!"
Holding up his hands in a time out gesture, Aizawa said, "Hold up." With all eyes on him, Aizawa said to Nezu, "Did you just say Loki? As in the norse god of mischief Loki?"
"Did he say that he got drunk?" Hizashi remarked in mildly surprised amazement while pointing right at Nezu.
Sighing in a resigned tone, Nezu said, "It's true. Four-and-a-half years ago, I got completely wasted and decided to mess with powers beyond the comprehension of mortal men. I thought that I would be safe, given that I'm technically an animal and not a man, but I was wrong. Dead wrong."
"More wrong than Hizashi was when he rode a dirt bike through some azaleas I was growing because he wanted to prove to the first year hero course students that he was cool?" Hound Dog asked.
"More dead than Izuku Midoriya is?" Nezuko asked.
"Your gender will only protect you from me hitting you for so long if you keep reminding me about how he's dead!" Toshinori snapped at Tanjiro's little sister.
After getting everyone to settle down, Tanjiro looked to Nezu. "Look sir, I think that if we were to somehow clean up this mess you made by dealing with the ultimate boss vampire, then we can get all the children turned back to being human." Gesturing to Nezu, Tanjiro asked, "Is there any way you can think of that can help us get started here?"
Nezu held one of his paws to his chin, a look of consideration on his mousey face. "...The only thing that I can think of would be for us to get a hold of Loki and ask him. It's been four-and-a-half years and I was drunk at the time, so my memory's a bit fuzzy on what sort of bargain I had struck."
"You see," Luci began while gesturing to himself, "That's part of why I prefer making deals with mortals who are sober and are acting of their own accord with sound mind and body."
Looking to Nezu and Luci, Hizashi said, "So... what? We're going to have to get a hold of Loki and ask him about the bargain that he and Nezu made four-and-a-half years ago if we're to make any sort of progress in dealing with the vampire convent?"
Folding his arms over his chest, Toshinori added, "I really don't wanna say this, but I think we may also at least ought to consider trying to wrangle up All For One, given he apparently somehow knew about the vampire convent and was ultimately planning to act against it. He may be of some help to us here."
Shrugging, Luci said, "Give me five minutes, I'll drag his sorry ass here and both make him behave and spill everything he knows."
"You can do that?" Toshinori asked, sounding amazed.
"And it'll take me roughly five minutes or so to do everything needed to summon Loki," Nezu said, "So by the time Lucifer drags All For One here to spill everything he knows on the vampire convent, I will have summoned Loki." Everyone proceeded to go about getting ready, both for having All For One brought over to UA, and for the summoning of Loki.
It was going to be wild.
END, CHAPTER ONE
Author's notes;
This is the start of the third 'Hizashi Yamada vs.' story, where the gang now has to deal with a lot of little kids having been turned into vampires. Wanting to avoid any potential screw-ups like with what happened when most of the first year hero course students were turned into zombies, the gang's going to gather as much info first before doing any actions period. Hopefully Loki will be willing to shed some light in the next chapter, when he and All For One shows up.
