Authors notes:

This is my first completely harry potter story. This idea came to me a few minutes before I decided to write it.

This is not for fans of Dumbledore. Dumbledore will be the main villain in the story.

If you're a fan of the idea of Voldemort getting a second chance, then the story is for you.

Now, onto the story.

The battle raged throughout Hogwarts grounds.

There had been many deaths, and the battle hadn't showed any signs of stopping.

That is, until Harry Potter killed the dark lord Voldemort.

Everything was silent throughout Hogwarts. The fighting had stopped, and all those left alive stood with expressions of surprise on their faces.

Harry Potter stood over Voldemort's body, realizing that the man who had killed his parents and made his life a living hell was finally dead.

The ministry of magic came and took the death eaters away.

A few, such as the Malfoy family, managed to escape being thrown in prison.

The weeks went by quite normally. Harry was left to deal with the aftermath of the battle of Hogwarts and the second Wizarding war.

He was still recovering from the loss of many of his friends.

One day, he decided to go and see a mind healer.

He did this because he felt that something was very wrong with him.

He couldn't help but feel like there were gaps… Spots in time that were not in his memory.

He felt as though some memories had beans replaced with fakes.

The mind healer was a kind old man named Dr. Morris.

"What brings you here, Mr. Potter?" Dr. Morris asked.

"I have been feeling like something has been very wrong. I think I've felt it ever since my fourth year at Hogwarts, looking back on it, but I've only really started to notice it after we defeat in Voldemort."

Dr. Morris flinched at the use of Voldemort name. Although he was truly gone. People still thought using his name would be bad luck.

"I will take a look in your mind and see what I can find." Said Dr. Morris.

Harry laid down on the table, and the mind healer waved his wand over him.

He felt the sensation of someone entering his mind. This had not been like his fifth year with Snape, because the mind healer was certainly more gentle and did not mean him any harm.

Harry knew now that Snape had only meant to protect him and was working for Dumbledore the whole time, but that did not mean that he had treated hairy well.

It was the opposite, in fact. Snape had been one of the people who tormented Harry the most throughout his years at Hogwarts.

Dr. Morris left his mind, and his eyes widened in shock.

"What's wrong?" Hairy asked.

"You have had 53 memory charms placed on you."

"Who could've done this?"

"I have detected that all 53 of these memory charms were the work of Albus Dumbledore."

"How could this happen?" Henry asked.

"I do not know," the doctor confessed, "but I can remove the memory charms from you and you will have all the answers."

"Yes please." Harry said.

Dr. Morris said to work.

It was a less than pleasant experience for hairy. In fact, it was quite painful. His head hurts, both physically and mentally.

But once all 53 memory charms had been listed, hairy finally knew the horrible truth.

Albus Dumbledore, the great headmaster of Hogwarts. Was not who he said he was.

Harry's eyes widened. He knew the truth now.

"The dark Lord! It was never really Voldemort! "Harry said.

"What?" Dr. Morris asked.

"In my fourth year I overheard a conversation between Dumbledore and Snape. Dumbledore told Snape some of his plans. I found out that he was the real dark Lord and that Voldemort was merely under the imperious curse. Tom Riddle was an innocent man, or at least he would've been if he hadn't been put under the curse as soon as he graduated Hogwarts."

"Really? If what you say is true, then you have just murdered an innocent man." Dr. Morris said.

"I did not realize. If I could do it again, I would." Harry explained.

"That may not be impossible." Dr. Morris said.

"What do you mean?" Hairy asked.

Dr. Morris reached into his pocket and pulled out a chain with something on the end of it.

Henry recognized it from his fifth year.

"A time turner?" Harry asked.

"Yes." Dr. Morris confirmed.

"But what can I do with that? The time turners can only go back a few hours."

"This is a special time turner that will cause your soul to enter the body of your past self. All you have to do is turn it three times and think of the date you want to travel to. You may be able to save Tom Riddle and take out dark Lord Dumbledore, giving him what he deserves."

Harry turns to him. "Yes. I would like this. "He said.

Dr. Morris passed him the time turner.

"I wish you the best of luck on your adventure, Mr. Potter." He said.

Harry turned the time turner three times, and thought of the date. July 31, 1991.

The day that he met Hagrid.

Hairy felt a weird sensation in the back of his neck, which soon spread to the rest of his body.

He suddenly felt light, as his soul was ripped from his body.

He flew through time. If harry had had a body, he would've been sick.

Suddenly, he landed in his 11-year-old body.

He heard a banging sound on the door to the hut that they were in.

Harry remembered. He had been getting Hogwarts letters, and his family had tried to escape.

He realized that he would have to see the Dursley's again.

Harryry still hated them.

Harry got up, and saw the door breaking down, and the towering form of Hagrid standing in the doorway.

He heard the same conversation play out as last time.

Hagrid turned to him, and said, "you're a wizard harry."

Harry decided to mess with his relatives.

"I know. I have always wanted to go to Hogwarts. "Harry said.

His aunt turned her angry eyes on Harry. "We never told you! How did you know!?"

Harry grinned devilishly and said, "I have my sources. I will tell people that I trust. But given how you've treated me all these years, I don't really trust you."

Hagrid was angry.

"You mean to tell me that you tried to keep this boy in the dark about magic! He tried to tell Harry Potter that he was nothing but a freak!?"

Is Aunt and Uncle shrunk away from the giant man.

Harry saw that they were finally getting what they deserved.

"I would love to go to Hogwarts, and get revenge on the dark Lord who killed my parents. But I've heard some stuff about this Dumbledore guy, and I can't say I trust him."

Hagrid took Harry to get his Hogwarts supplies.

He met Draco Malfoy, who he was determined to have a good relationship with. Back in his time, Draco had turned out to be a very good person, and Harry thought that he might be able to bring that out in him.

That's the first chapter.

Seeing as how this is my first Harry Potter story I would appreciate the reviews.

You may have noticed some mistakes. That is because I am using a program that allows me to speak into my phone and it will type the words.

It occasionally has problems miss hearing words. I hope you can get past that and it doesn't turn you off of the story.

Until next time.
