Almost a week later, Amity and Luz are posted up in Luz's room of the Owl House. Amity's sitting up against the headboard with a notebook in her lap, a pencil in her hand, and a textbook beside her. She was glancing back and forth between the textbook and notebook, scribbling down the occasional note. Meanwhile, Luz was laying at the foot of the bed with her head hanging upside down off of it, flicking absently through the channels on her television until she found something that caught her attention. That was proving more and more fruitless, though, as she found herself starting over from the beginning. She sighed dramatically, drawing the attention of the witch whom smiled a little.

"What's the matter?" Amity asked, not looking up from her notebook.

"I'm just really bored." Luz answered. She lifted her head to look at her girlfriend. "Are you almost done?"

"Unfortunately, no." Amity said apologetically. She tapped her textbook with the eraser of her pencil. "Once I finish this, I need to get started on the Potions homework-" She was pointedly interrupted by another loud sigh from the brunette and, that time, she looked at her. "You know, Luz, I could help you with your Potions homework while I'm at it."

"That's also incredibly boring." Luz said. The human dropped her head back down and returned to flipping through the shows on TV. "I'd rather go through the shows a third time."

"Luz, seriously." Amity said.

"No, thanks."

A frown touched Amity's lips at how determined Luz was to avoid her schoolwork. She'd be lying if she said it didn't trouble her, and she knew that Potions was Luz's worst class. She wanted her girlfriend to be at least a little productive. She bit the corner of her lip, and her eyes lit up as an idea started to form in her mind. She tucked her pencil into her notebook and closed it. She then swung her legs over to the side of the bed and stood up, waltzing over to where her backpack lied next to one of Luz's dressers. Unzipping it, she reached inside to pull out her own Potions book. She returned to the bed and sat down next to Luz. She open the textbook and starting turning the pages in search of the chapter they were currently studying in the class.

"Tell you what.." Amity began, and she knew the lilt in her voice caught Luz's attention when the TV suddenly stopped on a random cartoon. She smirked. "I'm going to come up with a set of questions to ask you. For every question you get right, I'll take something off." She paused, letting the idea linger long enough for Luz to finally look at her. She quirked a playful eyebrow and looked back at her. "But, for every question you get wrong, I put something back on and add another question. When you get enough questions right, I'll surprise you with something. How does that sound?"

Luz pushed herself up into a sitting position, lower lip poked out in careful consideration. On one hand, she'd be doing schoolwork, Potions at that, which she absolutely loathed. But on the other hand... she'd potentially get to see Amity naked. She huffed, already knowing what her answer was going to be.

Leave it to teen hormones to win out.

"Deal." she said finally.

She tried to ignore the self-satisfied grin Amity wore. "Good to know seeing me naked is all the incentive you need to get work done." Her grin only grew wider when Luz flipped her off. "Go get your textbook. I'll give you fifteen minutes to study the first part of chapter eight, pages thirty-four through forty. I'll start writing down some questions."

Luz sulked with a roll of her eyes and reached over for her backpack at the corner of her bed on the floor, yanking it to her feet. She took out her book and set her backpack aside once more, setting the textbook in her lap and opening it to the chapter as instructed. Amity moved back to her original spot at the top of the bed and picked up her notebook in order to start getting the questions down.

And when fifteen minutes passed, Amity stopped writing. She managed to come up with eighteen questions, and figured that would be more than enough to give Luz some leeway before she had to think of more. "Alright, time's up. Are you ready?"

"No," Luz said as she closed her book and turned around, leaning over to set it next to Amity's so it was out of reach. "But let's get it over with."

"Good girl." Amity said teasingly. She looked down at her paper for the first question. "Let's start with an easy one. What's the most important ingredient of every potion?"

"Uh... it's fairy wings, right?" Luz said.

Amity smiled. "Correct." She set the paper down and started with her hands on either side of her shirt, keeping Luz guessing on just what exactly she was gonna take off while she trailed them along her body. Luz's eyes followed purposely down, down, down... to where Amity eventually pulled off her socks.

"Oh, come on!" Luz exclaimed, gesturing to her feet. "That's not fair!"

Amity burst out laughing as she tucked the socks in their respective sneakers. "Sorry, I couldn't resist. My socks were the easiest thing to tease you with. After this, though, the real stuff starts coming off. I promise."

Luz crossed her arms. "Fine, whatever. What's the next question?"

Amity found plenty of enjoyment in Luz's frustration as she reached back to grab the paper. "What is the hardest ingredient to get for a scrying potion?"

"Fire bee honey." Luz said matter-of-factly. She knew that one off the top of her head thanks to Lilith's attempts at making one a month prior. She suppressed some laughter when she remembered how the older Clawthorne entered the Owl House with a few minor flames in her hair as a result. And a missing eyebrow.

"Correct again." Amity praised. This time she grabbed the bottom of her shirt and took her sweet time pulling it up over her head, giving Luz an opportunity to take in every inch of skin that was exposed, save for her black bra containing her breasts. She didn't bother with putting it anywhere specific this, dropping it on the floor by her bed with the thought of picking it up later once they were done. Wouldn't be the first time she'd walked out of Luz's bedroom without a shirt on. Though a blush started to grace her cheeks under Luz's gaze, she kept her cool and moved on to the next question. "What three things do you need to keep constant when making a base potion?"

Luz's mouth opened instinctively to answer, but she paused and snapped it shut again. She was drawing a mental blank.

Crap.

Amity, picking up on Luz's delay, smirked impishly. She leaned forward onto one hand, moving in close to the human and giving her the perfect angle to see inside her bra. It was so very satisfying to watch her girlfriend rack her brain to think of an answer while staring down her chest. "What's wrong, Luz?" she said quietly. "Afraid I'm gonna have to put my shirt back on so soon?"

"No, shut up, I got this!" Luz said hurriedly. She dragged her eyes from Amity's breasts to those yellow eyes just daring her to answer wrong. Her eyebrows came together in defiant determination. "Temperature, water, and sodium concentration."

Amity narrowed her eyes, searching Luz's slightly panicked ones. Luz swallowed thickly. After a few agonizing seconds, Amity feigned a sigh of disappointment and sat back on her calves. "Correct. Good job, Luz."

The green haired witch got up from the bed and faced Luz with her fingers already undoing the button of her jeans and followed by the zipper. Hooking her thumb under her jeans, she started shimmying her hips as she eased them down to her ankles. She kicked them off her feet, now standing in just her bra and matching black panties with a little pink bow in the middle. Realistically, Luz just had to get two more questions right and she'd be home free... and by that, she meant free to positively ravage her girlfriend's glorious body.

Instead of sitting down, Amity plucked the list of questions from the bed and placed her other hand on her hip. Her eyes scanned the paper. "Let's try a harder one..." she said. Luz didn't like the way her eyes suddenly gleamed with mischief. Amity lowered the paper and locked gazes with her, seeming quite confident that this one would stump the human. "Adding the scale of a jaded chameleon to a 'blank' potion will turn it into an invisibility potion. Fill in the blank, Luz."

Luz took a moment to actually think this one over, chewing on her lower lip. Her gaze dropped to the floor, just a bit intimidated by the look in Amity's eyes. Even so, she could still feel how her girlfriend stared at her and it did nothing to help her come up with the right answer. Her fingers started fidgeting in her lap and she sighed softly with a shrug of defeat. "I don't know."

For a second, Amity's features softened. "It's okay." she said. She stepped up to Luz and moved her hand from her hip to the brunette's shoulder. She gave it a reassuring squeeze. "There are still plenty of questions left, alright? But the answer is a transmogrification potion."

"Transmogrification potion, of course." Luz said, slapping her palm against her forehead. "That makes so much sense."

Amity laughed a little. "Exactly. The question is hard because the answer is obvious. That's how they trick you. Here," She waved the paper in her hand. "I'll save you the trouble and give you one last question to get me out of both my bra and panties."

Luz immediately perked up at that, which made Amity laugh more and roll her eyes lightly. "Alright, teach, hit me with it."

"Okay, Luz." the greenette said. She read off the paper, debating on whether or not to make it an easy question or a hard one. "What is the most potent potion, and what is it that makes it so strong?"

"That's two questions!" Luz pointed at her accusingly.

"Technically, with the way I worded it, it counts as one." Amity countered. "And seeing as it'll determine if I get naked, it's one hundred percent justified for two articles of clothing to be taken off."

"Ugh.." Luz grumbled. "I know it's a poison, but I can't remember the name. It's the venom from a wolfsnake that makes it so strong."

Amity hummed, nodding at Luz's answer. "I'll give that to you, since you're right about it being a poison and the venom. It's called Philip's Bane, after the guy that accidentally discovered it due to a typo."

Luz grinned and bounced a little on the bed. "So does that mean..."

"Yes, I was getting to that." Amity said. She reached around behind her and unhooked the latch to her bra. It slouched on her arms, giving way to perky and petite breasts. She slid it off the rest of the way and let it fall to the floor, grinning at the sight of Luz staring at her. Her underwear were next and she slipped out of them easily, exposing a small thatch of auburn hair over her intimate area. Those, too, met the floor and Amity made her way forward with a gentle sway in her hips. Luz's mouth opened and closed akin to a fish gasping for water as her girlfriend slung her arms around her shoulders and straddled her lap, her face suspended just over Amity's chest.

The greenette held her close, gazing down at her with golden eyes that grew hungrier and hungrier the longer the eyelock lasted. A smirk touched her lips. "What do you say to laying back and letting me ride your face, hm..?" she offered.

Luz's eyes widened and she sputtered. "W-was that the surprise you mentioned earlier?"

"Mhm.." Amity replied, that smirk becoming ever more prominent. "I know how much you enjoy it." She planted a kiss on Luz's partially agape lips, prodding the gap with her tongue briefly and murmuring, "And I'm gonna use your hair as a fucking seatbelt..."

A sound not unlike a growl escaped Luz and she crashed her lips against Amity's without a second thought, her hands grabbing at her waist and holding tight enough to surely leave a few nail marks later on. Kind of like how Luz had little crescents between her knuckles for a couple of days earlier that week...

"Then what are you waiting for..?" she asked under her breath.

Amity giggled excitedly and pressed a hand to Luz's chest, ready to guide her down onto the bed. Only to stop when there was a knock on the door.

"Kid? You in there?" Eda's voice came from the other side, and the doorknob started to turn.

"Shit, shit.." Luz whispered. "Y-yeah, hold on a second!"

Amity hurriedly picked herself up from Luz's lap and made her way to the top of the bed, attempting to grab the blankets and pull them back in order to duck under them. Eda must not of heard Luz telling her to wait, though, because the door was fully open before Amity could fully hide herself under the blanket. Eda stood in the doorway with King poking his head out from her hair over her shoulder. Amity yanked what she could of the blanket up to cover her chest, but she wasn't quick enough.

"Weh!" King yelped, clapping his paws over his eyes.

"Oh, woah, uh..." Eda said, her dual colored eyes flitting between the girls for a moment.

There was an uncomfortable beat of silence between the four. Amity's lowered her head and raised her knees to hide the blush taking over her entire face, though her ears still gave her away, and Luz rubbed the back of her neck. Finally, Eda cleared her throat at cast her gaze aside.

"Sorry, guess I didn't hear you say not to come in." she said, smiling awkwardly. "Just wanted to ask you if King left Francois in here last night. He's been looking for him all day, and, well..." She trailed off.

"I, uh, haven't seen him but I'll keep an eye out." Luz said with a short nod.

"Good." Eda responded. Another idle second passed and the older witch grabbed the doorknob. "I'll... see myself out." Taking a few steps backward, she pulled the door after her until it closed with a gentle click. Luz listened to her footsteps echo out of earshot down the hall before letting out a groan of exasperation and collapsing next to Amity.

She covered her eyes with her hands and shook her head. "Dios mío." she said.

"Think we'll ever catch a break?" Amity asked, her voice tense with her attempted joking tone. She peeked at Luz over her knees.

"Hell if I know." Luz admitted. She moved one of her hands away from her eyes. "But we might as well get back to doing homework."
