Emira paced back and forth in the living room of the Owl House.
"We have a problem."
"No shit, sister." Edric piped up from the floor next to the coffee table.
Emira rolled her eyes and stopped in the middle of the room, glaring at him. "Ed, this is serious."
"Yeah, she has a point." Hunter said, reclined on the couch with his head back. "Luz and Amity have gotten out of hand."
"Ah, they're young." Eda waved her hand dismissively, though proceeded to run that same hand through her hair a bit bashfully. She was opposite on the couch from Hunter. "Can't really say I'd done any different when I was their age."
"TMI." King said from Willow's lap, stretching himself out as the witch scratched his back idly.
"Oh, don't be such a baby, King." Eda said. She turned her attention to the others. "They've just had a bad streak of luck. It happens. Happened to me and Raine for a while-"
"Anyway," Willow interjected. "There's gotta be something we can do that'll let them... you know, without any interferences."
"Yeah, but what?" Gus said, seated beside Willow. While he had blissfully gone without witnessing Luz and Amity attempting to do the Titan's Tango, he'd heard enough about it from everyone to decide to join in on the meeting about it. Even if just for moral support.
Emira snapped her fingers, her features lighting up. "We gotta plan it for them."
"What?" Hunter picked his head up and looked at her quizzically.
"We have to plan for them to have their alone time." Emira said.
"Okay, and how do you propose we do that?" Edric asked.
"We need to figure out a place, a day, and a time where everyone is away and is fully aware not to interrupt them." Emira explained. "Like a mutual agreement to leave them alone for the evening. No matter what."
"Y'know, that's... actually not a bad idea." Hunter said. Everyone nodded in mutual agreement.
"Let's figure out the place first." Gus suggested.
"Good idea. I think our place should suffice enough." Emira said.
"Hold on there. Why isn't my house good enough for this plan?" Eda asked curiously.
"Well, for one, our parents will be out of town this weekend. So it's easier because you won't have to find an excuse to leave or be anywhere else." Emira said.
Eda contemplated her answer, and then smiled and settled back into the couch. "I do like when things are easier. Go on."
Emira returned the smile. "Ed and I can easily spend the night somewhere else. I can go to Viney's and he can go to Jerbo's."
"I'll go ahead and text him now." Edric said, already pulling out his phone to send his boyfriend a text.
"The next thing is to figure the day and time." Emira said. "Our parents should be leaving while we're all in school Friday, so we can figure out how to get Luz to the manor Friday evening no problem. Amity normally goes straight to the library after school to help out for a couple hours or get an early start on homework, so we can aim for around seven o'clock."
"And how are we supposed to tell Luz to go to the manor without giving away that we're planning something?" Gus spoke up, raising his hand a little.
"We can forge a letter. Easy." Edric said. "Put Mitten's name on it to make it seem like it's from her. Or sneak her phone and send Luz a text. Trust us, we're masterminds at things like this."
"And because we have a big window of time..." Emira pondered, a nearly impish grin playing at her lips. "I don't see why we can't decorate Amity's room a little. For atmosphere." She looked at Willow and Gus. "Can you guys help with that?"
"Sure, no problem." Willow said, and Gus gave a casual shrug and a nod.
"I'm glad we're all just on board to plan a night for these two to have sex." Hunter said blatantly with a smirk.
"Hey, hey, not in front of small ears." Eda pointed to King, who had mercifully fallen asleep in Willow's lap.
"Does he even have ears?" Edric leaned over to try and get a better look at the demon's head.
"It's either we do that or deal with running into them again for Titan knows how long." Willow said in response to Hunter.
"Yeah, and I'm pretty okay with being the only one here who hasn't done that yet. I'd like to keep it that way." Gus said.
Emira clapped her hands together gently to get everyone's attention on her again. "What Willow said. I'd rather do this than have to risk that. Is everyone in agreement?" A collective nod was shared and the older Blight twin smiled. "Alright, so here's what we're gonna do..." Emira began, gesturing for everyone to lean in closer.
