Sigh, that was the worst day of mine and Dot's lives...

Some way, somehow, me and Dot woke up at the same time. It's like...we just sensed something. Like something was very wrong. Both of us sat up straight in our bunks. I looked down on Dot's bunk.

"Dot...?", I asked. She looked at me. We had worried expressions on our faces. "Are you thinking what I'm thinking?", I asked her. She just stared at me, it said everything. There was only one thing we could say.

"Yakko!"

We quickly went down the ladder and found ourselves in front of our brother's bunk. He was laying on his back, not moving an inch.

I quickly went down the ladder. Yakko was laying on his back, not moving an inch.

I gasped. "We...we're experiencing our nightmare..."

Dot just stood there, speechless. I went to the bed and gently shook Yakko. "Yak...come on, please wake up..."

I gently shook him. "Yak...come on, please wake up..."

I backed away. I didn't want the whole thing to happen for real...

"Dot, we have to bring him to Hello Nurse!", I said.

We carried Yakko to the psychiatry building. We burst into the emergency room. "Help!", Dot yelled as we placed him on the bed. "What happened?!", asked Hello Nurse. "We...we're not sure, just see it for yourself!", said Dot. "Ok, will do, you just wait outside, ok?", she said. Dot just nodded and we exited.

We waited outside, both extremely worried. When the door opened, we jumped. The nurse was standing there, a very sad expression on her face. "I...I'm sorry guys...", she said.

Dot couldn't take it. She started running. I ran right after her. She ran all the way to the water tower. When I came in, I heard her slam the door to our room shut. I sighed and slowly went to our room. When I opened the door, I saw her curled up on the bottom bunk. Then she started singing:

You're not alone, together we stand

I'll be by your side, you know I'll take your hand

I sat next to her and started singing as well:

When it gets cold and it feels like the end

There's no place to go, you know I won't give in

Then we sang together:

No, I won't give in...

Keep holding on

'Cause you know we'll make it trough, we'll make it trough

Just stay strong

'Cause you know I'm here for you, I'm here for you

There's nothing you can say

Nothing you can do

There's no other way when it comes to the truth, so

Keep holding on

'Cause you know we'll make it trough, we'll make it trough...

Dot started crying and I hugged her. "It's ok...", I said, "Remeber what he said yesterday?". Dot just nodded. She layed her head on my lap and cried herself to sleep.
