After she made sure that the bartender let her room, Eva relaxed and lifted up the sheet of the bed to take out her phone. Hidden phone whom had been recordering every syllab and each word of the conversation that had been taken up earlier when she and Lina were having.

The bitch had no idea that this whole sensitive talking matter was being recorded from the start and at all. They may had taken my body, but not my soul. Neither, had they taken my own voice. A voice whose someone's own faults would be soon exposed. If Nadia hadn't escaped, she and I would have had exposed the horrors behind this club, way more earler and in the easiest way. If only. If only, Nadia hadn't escaped, things would had been better. Nor Helga or Alicia or even Gretchen would have gotten themselves killed and not to forget Justina. The poor girl. They all had died for something. For speaking out and not to mention, Helga and Alicia, they had a little something intrigued which had gotten them killed. Both of them.

From the night when Alicia had come out from the room, hers, probably and clutchered over the bar half dressed when Eva was having a bourbon drink while waiting for a date to come out. The blond haired woman remembered watching the dancer running out of breath as her mascara and eyeliner ran down onto her face from crying. Terrified, obviously. Her purple and short dress barely lifted up onto her shoulders as her platonic hair color was all tossled and into a mess, but it was her hands that send Eva some unquestionable feelings. Alicia's hands and forearms were covered up with blood. But it was a couple months ago. Early January to mid February, a couple weeks before she was taken away for a few days of vacations along with Helga. Which it wasn't completely true. Something had changed through Alicia, according to Eva. She hadn't been the same person after that night she had shared with a random middle aged man with brown hair and blue eyes. Who was he? Alicia hadn't got the clue of any of it. The man had stated that he wanted to be an anonymous client but a man who did take grand care of any woman, includding her own kind. A total different man than the guy she went with at that night.

"Had a rough night?" Eva did spoke out loud through the loud noise, despite she felt like shivering here. Not because of the cold weather, but at the blood sight here. Real blood. Something must have had gotten wrong over there.

"Horribly...You should say.."Alicia's voice was slurred up with sobs as she tried to take a few breaths here, but it wasn't so easy to hear with all the loud music and the dancing neon and flashing lights. here."Oh God..Oh my God!"

"Look, slow down. It wasn't your fault-"

"I killed the man. I killed him!" Alicia had bursted out, completely panicking as her voice sounded like which made Eva jump out a bit. Close to fall from her seat!

"Don't be so dramatic here. I'm sure the guy had a little too much to drink and went rough onto you. It happens a lot to any girls-"

"Don't you get? ; I've killed him! Eva, I killed him!" And this is when the platonic blond haired girl had rose up her head to reveal what had gotten Eva so startled by her revealation. Alicia's had normal brown almond eyes but not this time. They were glowing into the most hauntening amber and flaming ones, that Eva had never seen until that day. Glowing eyes that scared the shit out of her spine and right through her messy make-up. And what's worse? It was that Alicia looked like she was scared of her own self and for what she had become. A danger to herself. Eva watched her trying to calm down despite the shaken breaths coming and out of her shaken chest as the crying couldn't stop no matter how Alicia tried to stop.

"Alicia."

"Lina's gonna get after my head if she founds out whatever I've done.." Alicia rose up her shaking hands up closer as Eva was still stucked into surprise and had let a shaken gasp sound out of her lips when she noticed how red and crimson Alicia's hands looked to be."She's gonna send Esperanza over and let her attack me for a crime I couldn't stop myself from doing.." She answered back still shaking through her shoulders. Eva whirled around as two other clients; two men were looking at them a little intrigued but frightened. Mostly, because of the sight they had of Alicia with blood on her hands. She shooed them back away and took an laid rug from the counter and tried to swip off the blood from the dancer's hands and forearms, as quick as she could as she continued to cry over and over.

"Shut up, Alicia. Crying won't help you out.." She cursed back in anger at the girl who was making up a scene here. Or mostly, people would keep on looking at them here.

"I can't..I can't stop.." Alicia clutched her eyes shut. She sobbed hard as her make-up crushed through her cheeks even more than ever. Crying like a baby. Don't be so hard onto her. Eva thought back by clearing her throat when she frustratedly swip off the blood out. Let her speak and ask what happened.

"What happened?"

"That's the thing; I don't even know what went through!" Alicia sobed out almost out of control when Eva, still onto control tried to remain calm and understanding when she soothed the trembling woman onto telling what ever had happened with the client upstairs. It slowly started by a firty attempt as Alicia had started to explain. It went okay, at first, as she and the guy had a couple drinks from the barman and shared a few laughs. Until, it gotten a little too serious between them. The man seemed tired and wanted to get upstairs and maybe have a little massage as hiss muscles felt tried and nauseous. Weird, or maybe he had taken too much to drink, here. However, Alicia didn't complain and told him that she could give him a little free massage upstairs and that if he wanted to have a little more than a massage, it would be alright.

After all, she was getting paid for what she had been told to do. But how did it happen? The murder that she proclaimed to have no memory about?

"And what else had followed? What did you remember before you've lost it?" Before she had unleashed all out of it, she should've had added back.

"You mean; before I've killed him?" Alicia had cut her down, a little too loudly as she dragged the rug out from Eva's hold and sat down to the bar next to Eva, still strucked as her glowing eyes were still. The blond haired woman nodded as she waved back to keep on moving on.

"Like I had known.." She scoffed up back."Everything went just alright. He pushed himself back onto the bed, facedown and tired as I started settle up down onto him. From behind. Took off his shirt and let my fingers work onto his shoulders releasing the tention through his tighten muscles. I don't know how long I've kept onto doing that. It felt like forever, Eva." Alicia's tormented eyes had went up to meet hers and then, it just came up."And then, he rolled over and I've meet his iced blue eyes looking up onto mine with desire and relief. And the rest of it, we've started to kiss each other." Her voice shock a bit through her sobs as she wipped off the the tears away from her cheeks with her arm. Only to realize that she only made the mess even worse by now that her face was not only covered up with wasted mascara and eyeliner, but with dried bloodstains as well."Oh God! I'm a mess.."

"Kept going, Alicia. Stay focus.." Eva encouraged her onto speaking out as the dancer took a few breaths and kept going.

"We started to kiss and taking each other's clothes off way more faster, than I've expected. I'd say. Adrenaline rush. We went higher and higher to each other's bodies. I remember pushing myself against him and switched positions. He was getting and pushing inside of me and as I held him against me..." Alicia stopped for a second almost in shock with her own words that just easily went out of her mouth. "And then..and.."

"And, wha-"

"I just told you! I don't really remember!" Alicia cut her through her reply and quick. "The last thing I've remembered was that my hands, or mostly my fingers, my nails..." She rose up her bloody hands at wide and up at the view so that Eva could see them.

"Claws." Alicia had revealed back to Eva's frightened stare and added on. Couldn't it be more possible than that? "They started to look like claws. Pierced. It's like they were penatrating through his skin. He started to scream or that's how he sounded. However,it didn't mattered to me. All it felt like I've enjoyed it and didn't care it. Not even for a second, it was only when I've came back to my senses that I've realized that I've killed him. I mean there was blood onto him and everywhere at the bed." Alicia looked at her back with the same shaking glowing eyes here. "My own bedroom. Eva.." She whispered back through her sobs and hid her face into her opened and bloody palms. Something had been wrong from that night, or else both Helga and Alicia wouldn't have had disappeared out of thin air and somehow Lina and Àlvarez had been involved into their missing. As she had figured out, all started when Alicia had started to have a night with a man. A man who wasn't into her own kind, a little older and yet a little creepy to Eva's taste. Rumor had stated that he was an widow, after he had lost his wife through an explosion, recently. Alicia wasn't the same later on and neither Helga had been. Oh God. Those amber eyes still haunted her from that night when Alicia had admitted her that she had killed a man. A inoncent man. Eva had managed to help her out with a plan to hide out the corpse away from anybody's supsicious eyes. Under the basement's ground and deeper away. When Esperanza was away on lunch, she and Alicia had managed to bring down the corpse, all covered up with sheets into the basement and had opened up one of the cage's gates to hide out the body under the ground. A digged up grave, already made up by Natasha and a few other girls who've had volunteered to help out Alicia. Nobody had supisciously had theirs eyes onto Alicia or whatever smell she dragged up back with or without the body. Nobody asked or nobody wanted to. And yet, Alicia and Helga had disappeared later on. Only to found them out, dead.

"Is she gone?" Olga's shaken voice had awakened her up from her memories as Eva blinked twice and whirled her attention right to the young woman's slender and small attirance when she popped her head out, from the small bathroom's door who was half open.

"Yeah. You're not too tired, aren't you? I mean with you; waiting up into the bathroom.." The injured woman re-adjusted her sitting position onto the bed as she exhaled in relief as Olga pushed the door wide open this time.

"Nope. Sorry, that you couldn't find Anna or Natasha. They would have been better use to you.." The small woman excused herself as she was about to bow over Eva, with her hands laced together to the front with her long blond hair hiding her eyes and with the way she wore her long blue sleeved shirt and dark pants leaving her feet with dark socks here into the room. Oh God. She looks like a kid. A girl but not yet a woman despite her growning anatomy here that was starting to show. Poor girl. She deseved way better than with what she had been promised when she came here for a better future.

"Don't be." Eva waved back with her hand. The last thing she needed to hear was about these two whinning girls's names again. Anna was too much the worrying type onto her own person, when Natasha couldn't live without her stash and would do anything to get it as long she do what she's told to do. "They are simply noisy as they getting older. Hope you would not become like them, Olga. Once you get more older." Hopefully not. She watched the girl shake her long blond locks before she bravedly faced her.

"So, you've recordered everything?" Olga's shaken voice had asked when Eva nodded into was the plan. Well, mostly, Eva's plan. To get Lina onto talking out and hopefully to get her onto talking about Gretchen's and both Alicia's and Helga's murders. Cause one day, the truth would come out. It always does. And yet, Eva felt that she wouldn't get another chance onto speaking out, unless she could get Lina caught into her own words and actions. Whatever would happen, it would occur.

"Everything we need here. In case, one of us would get into trouble." Which, it might to become. What comes around, goes around. It was a theme that Eva had often heard. Karma was a bitch to those whom had seeked for it. Gretchen and Yalena went through it. One dead and one into a comatose state.

"We wouldn't.." Olga shook her head defiant. She looked like she wanted to believe that everything was gonna to be alright. A little inch of getting any hope left here, even if it was hopeless to think so.

"In case, I mean, you never know how things would turn out for us. All of us." Eva had said back."The cops. They need to know the truth about the situation here and you would bring the record tape to them."

"Me?" Olga stood there, strucked."But..But.."

"Yes.." Eva nodded back as the blond haired woman sat down onto the bed and right accross from her onto the edge of it."You can bring an end to it.." However, Olga nodded back still shaken when she took a good swallow and gulped back into agreement.

"Ok."

"You'll do good. I know it. You've watched enough Law and Order S.U.V. episodes to trick them, so you'll know and besides, you're still new here. You'll get them under their actions. I mean both Lina and Àlvarez." Eva handed her back her phone. For the very last time. Her decision was made and there was no way back to turn around. She was old enough to perish when Olga was young enough to be able to run away. Just like Nadia had done."You bring up that phone to the cops and let them figure out." She decided back when the young woman didn't looked too certain here, anymore. About exposing something she shouldn't in order to bring an end to an nightmare. Or more likedly as if Eva was saying goodbye here.

"Your phone? But I can't possibly-"

"I won't need it, anymore, now. You'll give it to them. It'll become an important evidance to the cops. You do what you have to do. Tell them the story all of it. Tell my story. Gretchen's Yalena's. Alicia's, Helga's and even Nadia's. Maybe, they'll be able to track her down, if they can find her." Hopefully, but not certain of any of it. Eva had explained when Olga grabbed the phone with her both her shaking hands. The poor woman couldn't stop herself from shaking just Alicia did when she admitted to have had killed a young man, once. A young man whose corpse was lying somewhere into the club's deep underground. "Just be careful of one person though."

"Who?" The young woman had said back drawning her attention as Eva winced back through her healing injuries.

"Ayaka. She is not whom people believe she is.." Eva had avoided explaining the situation as the female hitman was actually a cop investigating the club and mostly wanted answers for a friend who couldn't possibly respond onto her own terms anyways."And when Àlvarez finds out he's being tracked down, not only is he gonna kill her, but also he'll go for Lena and for the doctor as well.." And bring up the cops as fast as you can! She almost added up back, pleadindly here.

"Why?" Olga's eyes widened into shock when she realized that more violence would certainly come up to this path that Eva was leaving her with.

"Because Vincent Keller has deep feelings for Ayaka. Feelings that Àlvarez aren't worth to her." And Eva had known what she referred about. With the way that Keller was staring back at the so-called female hitman, it was pretty obvious that he was attracted to her. No wonder Lina had been jealous, lately and wanted to take acttions into her own hands. But Su Li had died under Ayaka's hands and now the bitch is under debt now, since she did promised much money that nobody could possibly earn in a day. It would gonna blow up to her face and with thaat recording, it would attract the law enforcement's attention even more.

Unless, if they wanted Ayaka Richardson or more Detective Catherine Chandler back alive and away from Òliver Àlvarez's threat. And not to mention away from Him. Him.

...

"Rise and shine, Keller.." An female and amusing familiar voice had called up to his ears when he stirred up from a certain but unexpected slumber. Vincent blinked up a few times as the light came out strong to his vision and as much when a beeping sound was heard at his left side. His own heartbeat being monitored. Weakened vision. Damn, what the heck happened? He rose up an arm to hide away the light as he found himself lying onto a bed under the bright light of the hospital.

Heck, what hospital? He thought back as he clutched his eyes shut and rose up his taped hand to rub them. He tried to think back to the very last thoughts he had before, he woken up right. Now, he did remembered. He had brought up Catherine into the emergency room, so that she could get checked up by doctors after that wild night she had to endure and with that hitman's death, she wanted no exposure around. Which she demanded-No, begged mostly to him to not bring her up to the hospital or else it'll raise any supscious situations around and mostly to Lina and Àlvarez. But, just how the heck he had gotten himself in here, already?

Think, think, think..Gee, right. He fainted. He did fainted but under nurses's aides which an certain Dr. Angela Varkis had ordered, silently behind his back, or maybe she had recognized him and asked for security to come into alert mood. What a bitch.

The brunette young doctor who had looked up from the chart had smirked back at his face when she turned her head at him. At first, he didn't quite recognized her, but he did now that she had that amusing smirk onto her face with these pink lips. Hazel eyes and tall figure, build enough to make him think she did a few running runs around the block to keep herself in shape. Which she often did with Alex, his own former fiancee and to which Angela befriended many years ago. When things had begun to clear up his mind. Years ago, when she often smirked or frowned at his face while a dreamy Alex had been clutching up to his arm, despite her friend making weird faces at them. Not that she was jealous, at all. But she often qualified him as a wild and trouble, but kind man. As if she had known better. And from what Alex had told him before from his lost memories, Angela had always wanted to become a doctor especially, once a longtime ago when she had experienced such like a trauma. But what kind? Vincent had no idea but to see from what section she worked at. Helping couples to become parents and doing rapekits onto terrified women if whatever they had been abused or raped, they always managed to call her whenever it was needed.

But to call him a wild man? Him? Come on!

"Damn, Angela.." He groaned back in pain as he slowly sat up onto the bed and scratched his hair scalp.

"About damn time, you've remembered me, Keller. I was about to give you a slap onto your pretty face here." The brunette turned around to look down at him with both hands onto her hips, with a firm line onto her face."You're a wild man, you know?"

"Wild?" It gave him an strange look back over at the dark haired doctor who didn't looked too much impressed.

"That's what I've called you when Alex had told me when she got herself engaged to you. I said that she was out of her mind and knowning you entlisted, later after that. It made me even more angrier." Angela had frowned back as she checked up his heartbeat through the beeping machine and shook her head. As if she didn't liked what she'd seen here.

"Why is that?"

"In case you don't remember, you often had broken up her heart when you were away, and includding the thought of you sneaking around with other women in the army. Which it made her worried, often. "The brunette whirled around to his sight as she folded her arms against her chest, in disagreement."Speaking of women, like a certain Gabriella Bauer, you remember her?"

"What are you talking about?"

"Alex told me everything, you know. She figured when one of the letters that both of you had send back to each other, had land it up back by mistake. You wrote back about this new girl and to which she came up and cried to me." Angela had said back to him which it did left him stunned to hear. His eyebrows narrowed at this."Alex had told me you've moved on to be with this girl." Say what? No! He couldn't had done that! He shook his head.

"But I've never wrote that back! I never did!" At least, he never had done or so. Thought so. It couldn't be. He remembered the few letters he and Alex had exchanged but he never did talked or wrote down about Gabriella. At all. He and Alex had sort off, broken up a few times but managed to go back together, until his so-called death had occured and with that, he did tried to protect her by faking his own death, in order to keep Murfield away from everyone and from his family and friends. Which it did failed, now that he was exposed to the public and media.

And it just clicked.

It must have had been one of Zach's tricks. Vincent held back a curse. Zach may have had made up that letter and tried to get back at him by breaking up the red haired nurse's poor heart who had unheard about that stupid fling and to which it made her break deep inside, according to Angela. Alex had never told me about that. Never did. He never had done or so had talked to her about the affair. It was a stupid fling, that was it. Like J.T. had said; he told him everything before. It was a stupid fling before he shipped off into war and before hew gotten himself injected with Murfield. Catherine may have known, but not Alex since he had once wanted to focus onto a impossible relationship with her. How stupid he had been and worse he pushed her into danger. No wonder she went into hiding protection with a new ID and cash away from Manathan.

Damn you, Zach! And Angela, this proud woman who quite had a strong character such like Catherine, who was not afraid to tell what her mind had told her about. But more protective of her own friend, just like Tess.

"Well, what do you have to say, about your defense?"

"I don't know anything about it. I haven't heard about that letter, at all..I swear!" He had no pelicular clue, until now. Damn, Zach. May he remain and get rotten up deep into his grave now. He had known about it and had broken Alex's heart while he had been into hiding away from the public.

"Promises, promises...That's what men often say, even those who talk to themselves on public.." Angela mumblered under her breath, not believing any word of him.

"What, you've heard-"

"You, onto talking to yourself? Or at the wall? They don't call PTSD for nothing, but I don't think you have it.." She changed up the subject switching from the Alex's thing to the PTSD thing. The thing that she had discivered with him talking alone at the waiting room. Talking to the other part of him here.

"What makes you say that?"

"Like I've said, you looked feverish back at the waiting room. So, I've assumed you were sick over there.." Angela had nodded back down to his exposed forearms where an IV was attached onto one of them."Like these lacerations, to speak about it. If I were you, I'd consult right away. To make a test." He shivered through her warning tone, as he had gotten discovered something that she may knows from what he already do know.

"Like?"

"An HIV test. And from the way it looks to me, it does looks supscious here. I'd get myself checked up." Angela's face had sobered up when she specified this statement towards him. He paled through her meaning and precautious choice of words.

"What do you mean?"

"These lacerations onto your back and wrist. They're pretty much worrying to the eyes of people like me. I've seen many women hiding bruises marks but also deep purplish marks like these.."

"No. You can't be right here. I can't and I don't have HIV." Vincent just shook up his head in denial. No, he couldn't have it. Beasts don't get sick. Any vaccine or any drug couldn't get pass at him through his system. Unless, if there was an poison that can kill them. Was Àlvarez's situation true? Was it because of that, that he had gone crazy earlier? Feverish, as Angela stated him back when she found fim at the waiting room.

"I had never had any sexual contact with anyone or had been involved-"

"Don't batshat me up here, big guy. I know that you're wrong." Angela had cut him off, firm."Any so-called hero or famous crazy people could get it and not notice any symptoms, at all. Vincent. I don't care if you had any mistakes at sex or had a fling over drugs. You aren't any immunized against that. Nobody is."

"You're out of your mind, here. I've never used any. Or been involved-" Never did. After all, he was against drugs ever since he went up to medicine.

"Unless, someone gave it to you..Like a person or a woman..Knowning you're onto women. Like red heads. Like Windsor." Vincent gave her a weird look when she shrugged back in defense."I mean, nobody knows what crap her golden daddy gave her and gave right back at you.."

Was she really serious? He and Tori may have had sex before, but it always had been protected. They made it sure it always had been, cause bringing a new beast into the world was out of the way. With the way the world had been xchasing over the two last beasts and who knows how many there were left. No. Tori hadn't gave him anything that was deadly sickened or any other way. He never touched drugs, unlike Carl who had managed to sabotage his chances to have a loving family with Regan. But still, Vincent should have had done something like saying something to his superiors. Ash had been brave enough, but it did costed his job at the hospital until he got himself restained, but had decided to work at 125th Police departement, instead.

Last time he had any sexual penetral it had been with Catherine, which her cover had to be looked like an female hitman who had controlled but an incurable disease. Everybody believed that she was declared sick, but not everyone. Lina was stating to have suspicious feelings. And the way he had been transforming himself lately into beast, it reduced his capacity of thinking better and losing it to the illiness. The lacerations and the delousions were from the poison which had been getting worse. And it wasn't backing away, in any time soon. It was getting worse and each time he did spent onto staying closer to the red gem or onto beasting out. It was making him lose more time. Less time onto breathing..And onto living.

"You and I are a team. None else is better than me..You don't need her." And what's worse throughtout this? It was his other side wanted to get the better of him, now that he was at his most vulnerable side. And to which he started to speak onto his own. Alone as if he was crazy. Declared as one. Which Angela had found him like this. Damn, he couldn't almost see anything at all..

But now his vision is doing bit better. Or wasn't? He blinked a couple times as his head spin around and as much when he felt his chest tighten up a bit. Which it was a bad sign. Sounded as if his heart wanted to burst out from his ribcage, and the heartbeat machine didn't made it any better. But to which it was starting to annoy him. Slowly as he clutched his eyes shut, Vincent had started to pull himself off of the bench and took off the wires attached to his chest, wincing through the pull.

"Vincent, what the heck are you doing?"

"Getting out of here." Damn, what did it looked like? He groaned once again as he snatched off each IV of his both arms under Angela's stunned stare. Crap. It did stang.

"You can't get out of here without any permission from a doctor. My permission-"

"I'm a doctor! Or used to.." He blinked back as the urge of the amber eyes wanted to come back as the beast would wanted to comeback, but couldn't. Vincent couldn't let that happen as he took a few deep breaths through his nose and he opened back up his eyes as he wobbled back by trying to stay steady onto his feet, here. Stay under control, here. He reminded himself as he shut down his eyes when he felt his heart skipping out a beat here. Something wasn't right and it was getting worse. You don't need her, Vincent, but only me. I'm the best supply you can get..He could hear his other part of himself snickering and advancing his demands all over again with Catherine being gone from his life.

"Vincent?" Angela's concerned voice snapped him back to life when he brought up his hand up to his forehead as he rubbed out the pressure and blinked out to let his eyes getting a better light onto it. He waved out with his hand back at her, annoyingly.

"I'll do the freaking damn test. Any freaking test you ask me, but first I want to check up on a friend here..Just give me a few minutes.." Vincent groaned back through a wince as much as his troubling vision wasn't getting any better than he expected or nor his own heartbeat.

He just needed to be there for Catherine. In time and before Àlvarez could catch her.

...

"When were you about to tell me the truth? That you've slept with him?" Tori just shuddered with astonishement, through the word and from the way she was being scolded by an middle aged woman. As if she was still a little girl. And the tea that sat onto the table before her had almost trembled through the tone that Veronica had deliberately used.

"I don't know. It just happened..I c-I can't even explain it!"

"Explain what? That you've slept with him? With that thing?"

"He has a name-"

"I don't care if he has one, Tori..For God's sake, I can't believe it!" Veronica had desespately announced back as she leaned back to her chair and sighed in defeat.

"I'm sorry-I didn't expected to happen-"

"Like you've used him to make him chose a side? Like you wanted him to stay with you, just because of the baby? Your baby, I'd should say.."

"I don't even know what it is! Or maybe.." Tori had blurted out as she ran her fingers through her purple longsleeved shirt as if she was cold in here and tried to avoid Veronica's hard and judgemental stare. She should've had known to get rid of the pregnancy test even better than to throw it at the garbage pot. Knowning that certain blond haired woman would figure out about it, anyways. Sitting here with her was enough hard to avoid, even if it meant in public where a few thounsands of eyes could be watching or staring down at them, just to listen up at theirs voices here.

And especially at Veronica's anger tone.

"You know, it's bad stuff of what you've just told me here. Really, it is. You could get sued for this. If he ever gets to know this.." Veronica had tried to calm down here even if she still felt like wanting to explode here.

"I know.."

"Does he know that you're expecting up-" However, Tori just stopped her right over there, looking almost alarmed.

"No! I mean, I don't know how I would be telling him any of this. It just happened and I can't even explained it. All of it had happened too fast!" Not to mention, she was also scared.

"Too fast, uh?"

"Yes. I know!" The red haired woman had blurted out as well."I didn't know what I was thinking. I was too selfish to understand that I've destroyed everything..between-"

"Between what? Between who? Tori, what aren't you telling me?" Veronica had caught up with her words when the ex-heiress had zipped up back. Oh God. What to say if the so-called guardian had already figured out that your own bastard of a father wasn't only a bad man but a monster, and a man who loved to be an actual monster. Which made her believe that she might had been one as well. By using Catherine's trust and taking advantage of her boyfriend. And what's worse, in all this? It was the fact that she was actually pregnant with him, according to the test she did take.

A child that could've had died if it wasn't for the blood transfusion she had and not to mention the kidney donor she had received back, because blood wasn't enough to save her life. And these visions. They all have a certain meaning, like with Gabe and from the way his eyes seemed to be terrifying and not to mention that little boy's screaming and crying to get out from people's grasp. Which it had been scary to even imagine. Not all visions are truthfull unless they can be taken down or couldn't be taken away..Just like the ghost of a certain woman, who warned about Gabe's true intentions. Maybe the dead woman, Tyler. His ex-lover had been trying to give her answer.

No. Don't be stupid, Tori..Ghosts don't exist. Just into your imagination- Tori tried to think over again until a warning voice yelled through her brain.

'Don't be too sure about that!' It awakened her through her mind when a pale and ghostly person. A woman was just standing behind Veronica's back, so suddenly. A tall and blond woman with a bloodstained and white t-shirt. The bullets were marked through the shirt and skin when her blue iced eyes had dark circles under. Her expression was dead right serious and frightening as if she hadn't been able to sleep in peace. The attirance had almost made Tori jump out of her skin and almost fell out of her chair. Her green eyes had widened up into shock.

"You..You..It can't be.."

'It's gonna catch up with you or any other women. Much like Cat. I know it. Gabe had tried to make Vincent go and kill me, before. Don't let him do that to you or to Cat. You two might become next..'

"Tori, what's wrong?"

"I..I.." She suttured back as she brought up her finger almost realizing that she was now pointing at the air. Probably, at nobody."You didn't see it?"

"See who?" But Veronica didn't see anything as she whirled around behind her back but to see nothing. Too much for Tori's discomfort.

"I don't know anymore.." But a female ghost who had the guts to warn her about the man who had decided to take things in charge. But who's gonna believe in her? Nobody would. Wasn't anything making any sense if nobody believed in her? After all, she was the snatching boyfriend of a female cop who wanted to help only to get her back stabbed when she witnessed them kissing after the alternaction at her father's place. How screwed things were between her and Vincent back then. And so far away.

"Just how far are you by now?" Veronica's voice had changed a bit as if she tried to regain her posture. More quiet, this time."I mean; by when you've discovered that you were pregnant?"

"I don't know. Maybe a couple days ago. I've taken a test, and it said I was pregnant and maybe with Vincent.." Tori had wondered back by taking a deep shaking breath."And from the way my periods had been lacking onto showning up, maybe from mid January.."

"So, you've been pregnant from all this time? And you didn't know any of it, till now?"

"It's not like it had been my fault! I was only trying to fix things up with Vincent when I felt him walking away. I wanted him back! But it wasn't working anymore..." She almost had exploded back back as she ran her finger through her unruly hair with frustration. Only a few moments ago before she went to rescue J.T., she and Vincent an argument as he replied back that way when they were together, she made him change for the worse and had affected him his own way of thinking. It wasn't only because of the beast instinct, but many things. And with Cat out of the way now because of her...

And if he had heard about the pregnancy test, things would have had turned much worse.

"Tori, honey.." She managed to lift up her green orbs back at Veronica's concerned ones. All anger had vanished only to have them with fear."You think, that your baby could be..Could be turned into a..I mean-"

"Like I used to before? A beast? Is that what you're trying to say?" The red head haired woman had cut back without any hesitation as the blond haired woman waited back."Yeah. I used to be just like my father used to be. A beast. And to tell you the truth, not only I don't know what to do, but I'm also scared." Not to mention, she read that there were a few rumors that her own anscestor may have been if, according to the rumors throughtout the archives she've been collecting lately. Even if she was pregnant or not, female beast, Ingrid Tatiana Windsor had died of the poison. Poison, she carried around and laid down between her breasts. The hauntening red gem.

An death sentence that could kill an harmless beast like Vincent Keller or Alistair Mcgregor. The man who revealed to be a beast and the very same one who tried to save Ingrid, but only to fail her just like he failed Rebbecca before.

...

Tsk. Tsk. That red haired woman had known to keep her guard down but not too much. Cause she was well surrounded here, but a little too much, although. Too much confused for her kind. His kind as he osberved. Without being the other part of herself, she was a lost lost woman as if her own discovered identity was gone and all was left was nothing but nothingless.

Unlike, Lina. The ex-heiress might find a way to get out of this mess, but not the ex-singer. After all, Lina was an ex-singer who turned out to be a stripper and dancer who had recruited girls slaves after she was diagnostized as a sick sex-slave girl and in order to pay off her medication, she needed to bring in the girls that had been ordered to fly over from whatever country they've came from. And Ayaka was in the way now and attacking whomever present people had been around now.

Damn, he needed another organ or else the beast in him would explode out of his system. Hermandez's was running out of time. People in the club would start out to ask questions and people from the 124th police station from NYPD would certainly ask questions if they kept on going more closer onto the case. The case that Ayaka was invastigating and by being undercover. Nobody outside from the station had known about it, expect him. even Keller had obviously no idea that he had been behind this. Unless, he had been smart to figure out that someone supsicious as him was around the block.

And Detective Santiago Medina's ass was around this and right after he was done after putting A.D.A Gabriel Lowan into prison and who was willing to go in trial to prove his innocence and over from Tyler Stevenson's murder. Even heard that the guy had gotten beaten in prison, from putting criminals into jail once. Ouch.

But knowning Medina wasn't backing off away from this. No matter what situation.

...

Medina had quielty walked inside the hospital like a panther making his way to the emergency section where nurses and EMT were rushing around, with his hands dug deep into his pockets, as he wished he had a ciggarette. Give it up old man! You're no Harry Hole here! You're a family man.

He is used to be an solitary man before, but not anymore. He no longer lived into the shadows as he used to. And like Reynolds had mentioned, he had been supsicious before many years ago when he came back onto the living world. But it didn't mattered anymore. He was now a cop and a man who has a family of his own and pay his own taxing bills, like anybody else here. Even if it meant to bring a woman into justice for lying onto a confessed case and under recorded tape.

'You own me, Medina for saving your ass..You killed your best friend in self defense who tried to kill you and your wife. That's a good excuse for sure but that doesn't exclude the other stuff you were plotting from behind it. Remember that part? You do own me up a bit here..' Hendricks had told him many years ago. And now the old man was making him demands. Medina sighed back as he walked up a bit closer to the beds as he'd seen two people trying to not argue over each other.

Well, mostly, the gorgeous and tall blond haired man with the blue scrubs was trying to demand questions from the dark haired messed woman that sat onto the bed with a t-shirt too long for her to fit with jeans and shoes. Man, ashe did looked like she had gotten herself beaten up here. The woman whom gotten herself beaten up by an hired female hitman. Su Li, the very same one who had been been found dead, earlier from last night. Under Chandler's hand. Su Li had been a living nightmare for Tess Vargas from many years ago. Detective Catherine Chandler who was under the Ayaka alias, here. Just like Tess had mentionned him or more like blackmailed him when she figured out what mess he was about to get himself into if his own ass didn't stood up quiet. Tess was willing to expose him onto telling Ward about the real reason from why he had been ordered to come in for.

"You might need to get a full check up here, Ayaka. Even if you managed to survive a whole night under Keller's surveillance, it could still be bad."

"I'm fine now." Catherine Chandler's voice sounded from afar as Medina approached to them as he stood quiet here. Oh Damn. She looked like she had spent the night with not only one but three living and huntening panthers under her wing. She was in a mess and if it wasn't for Keller's rescue and care, she wouldn't be alive today. Dead. Because of an hired hitman that had gotten away with her emotions and maybe Cat might have the same fate by staying with the case. Even pushing his own emotions away unless he wanted to get his ass biten.

Play along with it, Medina. Even if he didn't liked it. Any of it.

"Can I help you, sir?" The blond haired man had blurted out to say first when he sat up from the bed here where the dark haired woman had exchanged an confused stare. Not so much of an convincing one. He checked up down onto her with a stern look before he looked back the blond haired man with the name tap onto his blue scrub and hanging onto him as it was a disguise.

Ò. Àlvarez.

"I'm Detective Santiago Medina, from NSJPD working along with the NYPD departement. But to make things short here, NYPD has been called and to clearify on your attacker, young lady?"

"Her name's Ayaka-"

"I can speak for myself, you know..The hospital must have called the cops, so.."

"Usually, it's the Victims Unit to be called here, but I can tell you're doing pretty fine.." Medina went onto the report as he took out a pad note out from his pocket along with a pen."But since since the attacker has an history with the NYPD from years ago, I might be able to take your statement. Unless you feel any dizziness or nausea from your injuries, here from the way you look now."

"She may need an scan to make sure that she can functio-"

"My head is fine, here." Cat had cut him out before Àlvarez could answer out for her as much as Medina found it, interesting. The woman here did not liked to be talked on her behalf or to be ignored here like a child. She had known her game here and had let the man know here that she wasn't easily gonna let herself be fooled here. "If you excuse me, Òliver. I'd like to speak on my own words here." Well, at least she asked for permission for being respectful one as much. After she was onto the undercover job here in order to get onto the bad guy's feelings and push him down onto the mud. Medina had dropped out a sigh and let the process take ahold here.

"I need your statement, miss.."

"Do you know, at least who is the attacker whom had attacked her, here-"

"Zhang Su Li was found dead here in this hospital due to her injuries, Dr. Àlvarez, that should be an specific reason. A few costumers had spotted an asian with a traditional dress being transported back there. At that club where Mrs, Zhang worked before and took notice that it been Miss Richardson, here.." Medina had almost snapped the most well covered up lie out right in front of this man here who had almost lost all color here in shock as he seemed to be. As he had known the female hitman from before as much as his eye looked back to meet Cat's. She has known this fact and was the one whom had killed her in self defense. Everything was all connected here. She urged him to continue with a nod. Tough one, aren't you?

"The hospital had noticed her and called the NYPD for procedual calling. We made an identification and stated that she had been into sex trafficking right back, after she got exonorated." He admitted back to the blond haired doctor."And we're now invastigating her murder. It appeared that she had been stabbed, horribly and died here at early morning. But the autopsy had been saying something else as well. It appears that before she had been murdered, she was shown to have struggling and marks through her fingernails, blood through them. Which means she did fought with someone. A few bruises from her head as well." He looked back down to Cat who shifted up her eyes to him, with a stern and cold stare.

As a warning.

"Miss, you've told me that you've been doing fine and that your head is fine as well and even if your doc says that you need an scan and that I need to back off. I might need to recollect all details from where you've been through these past hours before and after Zhang's death." Medina went back onto working up up as he eyed Àlvarez as the doctor backed away for a second and gave the nod to the woman as if she needed permission to speak and to which it made Cat roll up her eyes. Careful, detective. He thought back went he brought up his pen and started to take notes here.

"Aya. My name's Ayaka Richardson. I do work for the club. La Rose, club one." She breathed out as she hated her cover name."That night I was on duty. Got a call from my employer to show up and to meet one of the girls and to whom a costumer was complaining about. To which I've did and went down onto the basement."

"Basement? The club has a basement.."

"This is where the beatings up takes place and from what I get paid for.." Cat had formedly stated back."Not only I get paid to protect the girls at mornings but I do teach them a lesson if they're caught at doing something bad." She shrugged off her shoulders."Not that I liked it any of it.." Which it was almost a lie from what Medina had caught up from her tone. She looked like she enjoyed doing what she was good at.

"So, anyways. You show up down there and what did you find? One of the girls?"

"Pitch black. And then nothing." The dark haired woman waved back with her hand. "Nobody was standing there, until I felt a knock over at the back of my head and woken up somewhere else and away from the club." Cat had fakedly made a scratching move to the back her head mentionning to where she had been hit.

"Like you were dragged away, by someone, you mean to say?"

"It was pretty obvious, you should say.." Cat had guessed back when she narrowed up her eyebrows as she tried to recall something else. A such good actress she seemed to be onto convincing Àlvarez but not as much to Medina, here."I remember hearing a woman's voice. Asian accent, almost. She walked up back to the cage where I was held at. A light from a lost lamp had lightened up the place and a woman came in. Tall, thin, dark sleek long hair with a provocating dress. She looked fearless and evil. I don't quite remember much of her looks."

"But you do remember that she attacked you?" The dark haired male had wondered back by raising up an eyebrow in wonder. And to which she nodded up slowly as she her raising up arm moved away from the back of her head to bring it down onto her leg.

"Well, I sure have. She did punched me and I've punched her back." She replied back by making up a fake punching fist to her bruised up cheek. "Had threatened me by names and was about this close enough to slice up my throat, until things reversed around."

"You mean like you must have had stabbed her, in return?"

"Something like that. Everything went so fast..I don't quite remember what happened next."

"I see.." Medina had resumed back from what he just heard even if it had been much more onto it. Chandler played well the perfect confused victim here, despite having experimenting the trauma for the past few hours before. And yet needed to stay away from exposure and from blowing out from her cover.

"And then? Do you remember anything else?"

"No." She shook up her head in denial as Àvlarez concluded back to the detective with a frown.

"It must be the head trauma. Everything can get stuck up after that and especially after getting hit hard enough to black out."

"It is a good guess, although." Medina replied again for short, before he went up down onto Catherine who was still playing along."What else do you remember, if it isn't from Zhang. Do you remember where you woken up? After the fight or not?"

"Not much, though. Other than my head pounded like it weighted a tons of rocks, a man with dark and buzzed haircut into dark clothes had come up and checked up onto me. Checked my head and bruises onto my arms." Cat had went on with her story and to which a certain man had been walking around the corner back when she had been held up hostage back at Su Li's basement. Keller had been around the corner and must have had scared the crap out of these kids, had guessed up Medina.

"Burned spots." Àlvarez had spat up back under his breath, with frustration."It must have been these drunk junkies from that club that had gotten ahead up there and had done this to her!" He seemed to look very expressive for a second as if he had been horrified for her. A trophy whom he almost tried to get into her pants, once. And to which she much have had rejected him for another man, better than this creep.

"I mean just look what they've done to her! These monsters, if I ever could-"

"Calm down, Òliver-"

"Don't tell me to calm down! If Keller hadn't looked up around for you when you didn't reached out for his calls, you would have gotten yourself killed or burned-"

"Wait a second here! The man whom had rescued you was Keller? That war hero guy from the news? That Vincent Keller?" Medina had interrupted them in a way that his alerting act could pass up for a real one. Àlvarez looked back at him, startled when Aya had tried to talk him down.

"Well, there's only one guy with that kind of a tricked up past, here that I've known from now. I've never did meet him, through." The blond haired doctor had said and stopped himself from saying anything else that could put him under hot water. At least, from what it did sounded for Medina here.

"And why is that?"

"Why is that, what?" The blond haired man made a face to the male cop, as he shrugged with a sigh.

"I don't know you seemed like you've known him, from somewhere else. At least, from what I've heard from you, now." Not a creative move, but enough to make the pretty guy talk his intentions out. Good or bad.

"Maybe from medical school, I guess so. We may have lost contact many years ago, until now. I don't know." Àlvarez could have gained a point, but who could give a damn. There were many people who succeed or failed to even go through medical school. Hard enough to stand tall. But Medina wouldn't to get himself tricked cause even and even if someone was popular or not, a crime stays a crime under the law. No matter what. If he was proved to be an actual criminal or if he had an accomplice.

"So...you were saying that Vincent keller had been the one who saved you? If I'm being correct up here.." Medina went back to Cat as she admitted back onto the telling story.

"Probably. He's the doctor who take care of the girls after I've finished up the job. I've never did meet him until last night." Which it had been a lie. He had been there once when he spotted them walking around the station together, she and Keller.

"But why hadn't you checked yourself onto a hospital, before? If you were at such bad state?" Good question, but knowning that Keller had made sure she was alright with her injuries and lived through to see the next day, there was no harm done now. Even if it had been risky.

"That's the same question I've been asking myself as well here. You've could have had come up to me, Aya." Àlvarez had scolded back up the woman who only puffed back in defense.

"And explain to the staff. Your staff of how I've gotten myself into a mess like this? Are you freaking me, here?" She scoffed back at the worried man here."It was too risky, and besides I had Keller who took care of me for the rest of the night and thanks to him, my head no longer hurts. Not even the spots onto my arms."

"Still. It could have had." Enough with this arguing, Medina thought he was just wasting his time here and snapped his notepad closed and groaned with annoyance when he shut his eyes.

"Alright. It may be all for now. If I have other questions, I'll have to contact you. Do you have a phone numb-"

"Don't have one. I'll be the one who would contact you if you have any other questions, detective." Cat had clearly cut him out of the discussion as he re-opened up his eyes and frowned at the sight. When Cat had gave him a glare to mention that she wouldn't him or anybody else to find or to get her up against her. Including a newbie from another country like him. Nice way to shut things up here.

"I'll have to talk up with Keller to see if his version catches up to yours and probably to your other doctor, Miss Richardson.." He had announced back as he was turn around but held his movement back once he had seen her expression change. As if she thought he'd wouldn't have the guts to do it or so. He finally had got her into something here. The ex-soldier had been somehow very important to her in a way. And the eyes were the window of the soiul as they often say. Not much of her so-called doctor but for the man.

"What do you mean?" Cat-Aya looked stunned despite her tone. Shaken voice that could've had said something as if she cared for the doctor. Didn't mattered if the feelings were real or not. Or even played.

"I've heard you are an HIV-positive, therefore. So, I could get an background check to be sure on your condition." He needed to keep things under the act for the case and since Àlvarez was standing up here with both eyes and ears open, Medina needed to be much careful with words. She blinked up out of stepping out her astonishement to relief. Guess, she got a bit worried for Keller than her faking condition. A bad move, kitty cat. A very bad move, Medina had remarked back through his thoughts.

"Of course." She agreed back with a nod."It's Rose. Dr. Cassandra Rose. She just had left the building after she came to check up on me, and wanted to know if I could drop by into her office to make sure I'm doing okay."

"I can make it happen for you-" Dr.Àlvarez had suggested but the sitting woman didn't wanted to hear any of it.

"No need. I do trust her. Rose, here."

"Aya-"

"I made myself clear, here. I can take care of myself pretty much on my own and with no help of anybody." Cat had cut the blond haired man out of his help by looking away. His so-called help to which she didn't wanted. By putting up the tough indepandent woman assed attitude here. Even if she was the stubborn one here.

"One last question, thoug, before I let the identifical team take and clean up your nails for evidence. For a matching DNA." Medina had volunteered asked that brought the two people's attention back up to him. Which Cat had asked first.

"Yes?"

"You think you can tell me your employer's name? In case if this case goes any deeper as if like onto court. Which I deeply hope it doesn't, at all."

"She goes by Lina." Cat had followed up with a frown and to which it made Àlvarez hold back a grimace here and under the eye of an cocky detective here. So, the man here had known something. He may have something to hide and from the way it looks to be, Àlvarez has something to do with Lina.

"No last name?"

"Nope. That's all I know. She works at the bar. Has an short strawberry blond hair. Tall and too thin. Wears dark clothes. Is as sick like me, but doesn't have a good immune system than I have." Definally, cause Catherine Chandler doesn't have that sickness. She was faking it for the role and it was a way for her to let Àlvarez know that he better keeps his hands away from her, unless he wanted to have a death wish. Or worse, if he ever discovers that he had been tricked by a female cop, it may just be the end.

But with a dead body on their hands, it may lead the undercover case to the very end. Digging up Zhang Su Li's background would certainely bring a few clues and closures about Àlvarez, Yalena and to not forget the entire club with its sex trafficating. To which Cat had first made the move.

...

"So, from what I see here, it is a big accomplishement.." Chief Ward had replied back as he leaned over to his chair with a nod. Back at the office along with Dana Landon to his left side and with Tess and Medina as they seated across of his desk after they both walked up back from the hospital.

"With one dead body, here.." Medina mumblered back under his breath.

"Well, Cat had stated onto the recordering tape. It was by self-defense. Zhang had kidnapped her and had tried to kill her.." Tess had replied back right after they've all listened to the recordering tape that Medina had hid in his pocket when he had been doing this interrogation. And to where it still laid onto the desk.

"Out of an act and of an self and personal revenge.." Medina had procceed back for short term."The suspect Lina must have had hired Zhang because she didn't liked the way the new hitman was overdoing it with the girls."

"And you're saying it could bring the case to an end? It may jeoparidize Chandler's undercover work if Àlvarez founds out about it." Ward had objected back at the duo here, when the blond haired woman had decided to slow things a bit before they could explode.

"Not neccessary if we keep playing it simple. Zhang is dead and with Vargas's and Chandler's work, it may lead the departement into invastigating the club much farther now." Dana had presumed back with a stern look by cutting off Ward."It may save other women's lives from trafickers. Sex and organ trafickers."

"Despite Keller being used up an accessory? Two women fighting off for one man.." Ward mumbled under his beard when he folded his arms against his chest. To which Tess did hissed through her teeth.

"I don't think so-"

"Not so? Did you watched up the tapes?" The man behind the desk had almost argued back which brought look of shame to the female detective's face."Every women would have the right to be scorn and put the blame onto someone's back-"

"Anyways, without any due respect sir, I think with what Chandler has done by now it just advanced up the case, faster and with one dead body that used to traumatize Vargas here." Medina had cut off the chief as well with a moan. He hated to admit it, but it was true. However, it felt like Vincent Keller was being brought up too many times, after all, everything did started because of him with Cat's doing that kept hurting him and even if it was by undercover, it did. And Lina, only wanted to do it was getting back at Cat with an hired hitman and to finish her off.

"And like you just mentionned, every woman could go off scorned.."

"As if you know what it means.." Tess had groaned by rolling up her eyes away.

"I just want this case to be over.." Ward had groaned again too much for his displeasure. But it didn't stopped Medina to argue things up with Tess as she pushed or almost spat at his face.

"Give Chandler a few more weeks-"

"My ass. This matter is ridiculous-"

"Or sent somebody to watch over her, and I don't meant Keller-" Tess had tried to add back when Medina slapped Ward's desk at the edge of it. And he did looked pissed, here to which it almost made her jump from her seat. It didn't mattered if they were being watched or not.

"The guy's already involved and more than he should be. And by his own will when he should be put off into a cage with Ash and the others.." That point had almost made Tess jump out from her seat.

"Well, like you've said; he's already involved and far too late but it doesn't-.."

"Enough, already! Both of you, here!" The Chief behind the desk had made them stop in a halt when they both turned back at him, under the alert. "If you can't at least, handle this case as natural cops and adults, I'm gonna have to put it into an end or sent it to the 21th departement, instead if you two can't collaborate together, here!"

"Just put two other cops into undercover so they could watch Chandler and Lina over with the girls, Chief Ward." Dana had sighed back as she cut off the arguing detectives with a dirty look and quickly before she followed back up."And they'll report what they've seen out. And in the meantime, the Bureau and the NYPD would dig up Zhang's background with Lina and the rest of the club." Dana had tried to say and to which it brought out an hissing sound as Ward looked back up at her, hard. The Federal Bureau Investigation Departement had already had a few datas onto the woman occupying the club and the girls."But since, we already know about Lina-"

"Not to mention. It's definally gonna be more harder with more people in the picture. You see, Zhang had also a club and a bodyguard along with other people over there. Both men and women.." Tess had followed up back to which had brough Dana and Ward back to their actual interest. Even Medina tried to slow down the race through his heart beating when Cat's partner and best friend had been checking up her phone and frowned back at the picture.

"Say what?" Chief Ward looked stunned at these news, here and turned his head back to Tess whose eyes lifted up to meet her captain's blue orbs."How did you know?" He demanded back in a urgent tone here.

"From the video footages coming up from the van. Tucker had sent up the videos." Tess had followed up from her phone and shown the evidence to him and to which made him curse in silence."Turns out Zhang's bodyguard Virgina, had blackmailed Lina for money or more like advancing the money she promised when Zhang was hired and still around."

"Blood money." Dana made it quick for an understatement and to which it made more clear.

"More like revenge." Tess had nodded back. Or maybe worse.

"Vendetta. Is the word, boss." Medina had mocked up back at the end of the line."Àlvarez looked hesitant onto letting Cat go or even letting her do all the talk. And onto the edge when she was talking to me. As a cop of nowhere."

"As if his own activities from the black market had gotten him onto the ass. So, we have gotten him onto the hunt, now. As he seems to be hesitant towards police officers." Chief Ward seemed to be thoughtful here for a second after he finally managed to calm down. He shook up his head in defeat but he had no other choice, anyways. He waved his hand as it was a wand.

"Alright, I'll let Chandler be into the job, but with two more undercover cops around, Parsons and Gaines. They'll watch up and register everything they'll know and see. And it's better be the end of it. And before more lives are to put at any high risks. No more word, after that point I've made. End of it." He clearified in this time harder as his voice tone sounded here and to what made Tess hiss up. No way! Cat was gonna be watched and especially after Ward had gotten the evidence that now, that Zhang had died, things would even get to be more complicated. Other people from Zhang's club would arrive bring the chaos in and people that nobody else had known. Who could know if they were innocent as much like Àlvarez's girls all are? Maybe they weren't. Worse, they might be wicked or beasts like. Cat might be in real danger! And she needed to warn her about the sudden and fast upward update coming up from Tucker.

"Chief-" She tried to ask up again her captain, but the man had only shot her a hard and tired look, once again. He wasn't going back onto his word and not in any second. Tess had gulped back when she leaned back to her chair, trying to not shake like a leaf.

"Am I clear, Detective?"

"Yes."

"Medina?" Ward had turned his attention to the other cop who only sighed and closed his eyes as he ran his hand through his hair. With frustration or more like he wished he could run away now.

"Yes, sir." The black crow had agreed back as well even if he didn't quite liked the ways had turned out to be here.

"Go and find that partner of yours, young man. I believe he's been under radar long enough now." Ward made himself clear and turned his attention back to the blond haired woman and FBI Agent here, with an glare. Once he called off the detectives to go away from the office."Anything else that I need to hear now?" He suggested back when the two detectives had slowly left the place. When he looked back at the blond haired agent."What about that ex-partner of yours, from your departement? Haven't you tried to reach out to him, lately?"

"I had tried, but Barnes still hasn't returned my calls, yet." Dana had followed back with a sigh. Looking defeated as she told him she did tried to get in touch with that ex-FBI colleague of hers when he decided to fleed away from the country for falling and marrying one of Àlvarez's women. Nadia. She had tried to reach out to him, but still nothing. "Ever since, he married that Nadia girl, he had done everything to protect her from everything and including from Àlvarez and Esperanza, the other hitman who fleed away, lately ever since Chandler had taken the job."

"So, you really have no idea, where she might be by now? This Esperanza woman?"

"Nobody knows. And this time, I'm giving you my word. Chief Ward." As like she had no idea where Sebastian Barnes had been doing with Nadia and to which this woman could be their very lastest hope to stop Àlvarez's mess. To help out Cat from becoming more of the bad man here.

Not only they needed to find Barnes, but they needed to find Nadia as well. In order to save both Cat and Vincent before it becomes too late.

...

Catherine just shook up her head with a shivering feeling that she thought that wouldn't not have last enough, after the cop had left the building here. But Medina had been smart to understand that she had known to play the part here.

Tess must have told him, and mostly after blackmailing her with Hendricks. He did tried to blackmail her up, here. He had been sent up here to finish up some buissiness she tried to push away. By protecting Vincent's true identity and from being exposed, as well. All for love. She had done for him and yet, what good had come out from it?

Nothing.

But still, the fact he had decided to stay around for her and to protect her even if he loathed what she was ordored to do, he still accepted it. Like the sort of the guardian he had been for nearly ten years or so. Even if it meant to take on a personal case and stopping Yalena's soon ex-husband if she could get him to confess.

"You shouldn't have had talked, Aya to him, You know, how I feel about cops around. To think that I might have two diferent lives around." Àlvarez was still upsert after the events that had turned to after he checked up her charts and with the beeping machine she connected to.

"How is that? I've just gave him a statement about the hitman whom had been ordered to kill me.." She tried to calm him down as if all of this didn't mattered, but it kinda did for him. He really didn't liked any of it.

"By Lina, I get it." The blond haired man had sighed back in defeat as if things couldn't get anymore worse than this."First my wife is in a coma and my kid is still missing but now this?" If Yalena had been into a coma it wasn't by mistake, but because of him and an certain ex of hers. She had tried to sent a message to her and to which she didn't understood, at all. And what worse was in all of this? It was that Yalena may never come back to herself and her own kid might be hunted by now. It had been nightmare but she managed to step up and be inside of club in order to try and stop Àlvarez. But now that the sex slavery was on the road, it looked more than an simple domestic abuse matter now. It was just too much all at once.

But Catherine had put up a brave face, to hide all worry here when she assured him, even if she wanted to spit out at him.

"It's gonna be alright, you know it.."

"But how?" He followed back as he shrugged back like nothing else mattered. Or it might have."Everything is in a mess and a mess that I cannot control, here. What if that cop finds something that would put me into trouble, that I might not now?"

Then, so be it, sucker. Cat had guessed back onto her mind, deeply when she kept on smiling at him. When she took out the cover and jumped out from the bed as she grabbed up his hand by pulling him by the arm and pulled him closer. So she could look up and stare up at his worried and concerned eyes. He wasn't worried about his wife or daughter here. But for himself. Only himself. Assure him and tell this sucker, that everything is gonna be alright, even when deep down of yourself you hate him.

"Leave it to me. I'll talk some sense to Lina, here, before cops might around. We might find some agreement to it." As if it might would by now. Catherine had an idea of how to handle things but to which it didn't always ended alright. But it was a risk to take, although."You can trust me, Òliver. I know what I'm doing."

"And how am I supposed to know that?" The doctor had followed up with distrust through his voice.

"Cause I know." Had followed up another voice here to which had surprised both Cat and Òliver when they took a look around at the sound of where it came from. Vincent. Still pale as before when he had left and had come back from the same state. Which it was questionning to even think of. Even sicker as she thought he would be. This is bad, though.

"Keller? Didn't you-"But Vincent didn't let him finish as he walked in back to the room, looking a bit frustrated here. Out of his control as Cat could've had observed here. He did seemed to be under the edge, here. A little too much.

"I know what kind of a woman, Aya can be and when she tells you to trust her, you better believe it.." Vincent had walked in as if he owned the room and pushed Catherine away from Àlvarez as he stood up at him. Òliver, just stood up at him with surprise. Like he didn't expected him to come in and face him like no other man had done before.

"Or else, what?"

"Or else, you might end up in trouble. And fearless as she can be, she won't come back up down from her word, isn't that clear, enough for you to understand, Àlvarez?" Vincent fumed with anger here as Òliver almost backed out away with fear as Cat could observe it with impression, for a minute. She stood in with silence.

"Keller-"

"Just answer the damn question!" Vincent had urged him up to speak. Closer to let his eyes turn onto yellow as if he would let the beast take over and transform up here.

No. Wouldn't he? Crap! Do something Cat!

"Keller-Just..Òliver, just trust me onto this! I'll find a way!" Cat had hurried upo to say in order to break out the fight here between the two men when she stepped between the two men. Or more like Vincent wanted to rip him appart in any minute.

"If you say so.." The blond haired man had followed back with his eyes still stucked up to Vincent's angry and fury hazel ones, here. As much as he fumed, here like an very hungered man."So, you're this famous Vincent Keller. The one who has been taking care of the girls, lately?"

"Hn." The ex-soldier groaned back like a beast. His nostrils were huming out for air like one when he breathed in and out. Like he was hunting over for a prey.

"I take it as an yes." Òliver had guessed back with discomfort.

"Can't always say that I like it even if the check is okay to take...From a wealthy man like you." Vincent had almost spat to his face with courage. He wished he could have had.

"I'm not as wealthy as you think. But thanks for the compliment, anyways.." Òliver had shrugged back in defeat back at the ex-soldier's angry face.

"Is there anything else, you'd like to say here?" Vincent had once spit off much to her pleasure when he stood up pretty much like her own guardian, here. As he always did before. When Yalena's soon ex-husband spoke out with courage even when it didn't sounded much to her. More of an excuse when he breathed out a lame answer.

"Yes..I'd like for Ayaka, to at least take an scan to make sure that nothing bad is going wrong into her head, here. But only for precaution-"

Hang on a second? What?

"I said I was fine-"Again? Cat had thought that they were past at this! She managed to stay all night up with Vincent and been fine after that, today.

"Not until, you get from an actual doctor's advice." But Òliver wasn't satisfied.

"Keller's a doctor-" Cat had tried resonate him, but it wasn't good enough for the blond haired man to step away.

"Not yet. He still doesn't have an actual job and because he works for me, here. It might make things look awkward, just to let you know." He had a good point here. Despite of his liciense and experience, Vincent still wasn't a real doctor for as long he'll be working as one but for pretty much illegal reasons and under her job.

"Even, if I told you that everything's okay and that I've spent the night doing alright with Keller? It still wouldn't give the exact and good feeling about me, being safe with myself?" She wondered back with disbelief when the doctor still shook up his head, when he kept his version as a no answer.

"Head injuries, aren't any jokes to take literally.." Òliver had followed back as he looked back at Cat."Just one scan and you can go as free as you want. Even if it means with Keller, here." He looked back up at Vincent who was still trying to calm down here."As long, you don't have any problem with it."

"No. I don't. I'll probably do the same thing here if I were you.." His hazel eyes looked back up at Cat."And I'll make sure, that she'll get the best care even." He added up back when he stepped out of Àlvarez's way to give them more space. He walked back to the bed.

"See, Aya? Even Keller agrees with me!" Àlvarez had whirled around and waved up his arms, grateful as he sounded like."One scan, and you'll be out after the results. But under my permission."

He sounded too happy when she wasn't.

One scan, it shouldn't be as hard to do. If not, she might as well end up into a comatose state, like in these stupid soap operas shows, when writers decided to write off a few characters dead or not. And if she couldn't do it, who else would finish off the case?

"One scan?" Cat had pointed a finger at his face, being uncertain when the doctor had nodded back.

"That's all it would take." All it would take? Yeah right, but knowing this is how things would have turned out to be if it had been with Vincent, she wouldn't have no other choice but to do so. When she turned back at him and to see him give up a nod. When she whirled back up away from them both and stood up infront of Òliver who looked far more assured here. Despite for Vincent who stood behind him as he folded up his arms against him, with hidden frustration.

"Okay. Let's do it." She sighed back with a roll of her eyes here, but made both men aggree. Òliver released up a smile at her.

Smile like you still can, sucker..

"Alright." Àlvarez had agreed back as she made her mind up in defeat. And before he could stop himself, he put his arms around her as he surrounded her into a bg hug. To her surprise. Cat wasn't so sure how to react to this but to return his embrace. Even if it meant that her ex would also be watching here. And especially, when Àlvarez's lips had closely made their way to brush up onto hers. And to which she responsed back to it as she closed up her eyes when she felt his tongue twisting around hers. Helding her tight against him.

But when she re-opened her eyes back to meet Vincent's hazel heartbroken ones, here. Frustrated but heartbroken hazel orbs that looked back up at her. As he stood up here and watched her kiss another but evil man, here. Much as his heart was ripping up appart, helplessly.

There you go, beasties. I know, it's been a while and I'm sorry for the long wait. I'm not sure if anyone is still reading this story, however, here it is. I've been dealing with hard issues it wasn't easy for me to write and focus onto this story, for a while. Lately, my mind had been into other places, emotionelly. Dark and weird humor, lately. I've started to write other stuff, like humor and horror. Such as Naruto and Carrie. But anyways. Like I've said I'm sorry for the long wait and I'll be willing to try and finish this story. I don't know how, but I would. Don't worry.

Thanks again for the support and love, beasties. Including you Adrianna. See ya next time.
