Sorry about being late, been on the road with my family for a few days. Anyways, this chapter is going to confirmin one specific question quute a few of you have had for while regarding one of the characters. Hope you enjoy what we wrote!

Kalego was tapping his foot, that was never a good sign. Robin hadn't said anything stupid yet and Kalego was fumming at the seams, which could only mean Sullivan was doing something outlandish, unexpected, and at the last minute to prevent Kalego from doing otherwise.

"So, what did Sullivan ask you to do this time?" Dalton asked, preparing the drinks already.

"Nothing." Dalton blinked at that one. "However, I had fifteen separate bad omens, and the char demon hasn't talked to me today, so I'm on edge out of anticipation." Fifteen, that beat the record of fourteen when Opera got them into that whip-cream incident. "There's a storm coming, and I can't escape it."

"Greetings everyone!" Speaking of the devil, Sullivan danced right into the classroom being as random as ever, and grating on Kalego's nerves the very moment they held eye contact. "We have good news, great even! The number of students that failed the End of Terminous is only in the ten percent this year!"

"Wow, that's a brand new record, isn't it!?" Robin cheerfully explained from his little corner Kalego tried to keep him in, and constantly failed. "We sure have some impressive students this year, don't we?"

"It's the job of the students to not fail. This year just happens to be competent." Kalego stated without giving a single look to the new teacher.

"To thank these students, of course, we'll have the homeroom teachers visit the parents. Kalego, you'll be visiting each home of the Misfits personally by tomorrow." Kalego gasped, giving a growl. Well, that was Kalego, always trusting his omens with an unfounded level of accuracy.

"W-what! B-But everything their parents have to know is on their report cards!" Kalego futilely tried to get out of the Chair Demon's request. "This is just unnecessary labor for me!"

"Not exactly. Speaking as an educator, there's some things you can only learn by meeting the parents of the children you teach. Besides, I said the homeroom teachers, meaning everyone is in on this, not just labor for you Kalego-kun." Well, Kalego wasn't going to suffer alone on this one, not that the fact made it any better for him. Kalego only enjoyed the misery of the people he hated, and Robin was too ecstatic about the idea to be miserable.

"This day is going to be a nightmare." The teacher grumbled.

"Come on, what could possibly go wrong Kalego?" Robin asked the question that should never be asked. His scream was heard for miles long, and nobody batted an eye at the situation at hand.

David handed the teacher of his beloved young master some tea and scones. "I'm so glad you could join us, Sir Kalego. It's an honor to have the teacher of the young master come personally." Kalego sighed, staring at him, then at his student.

"You didn't tell your mother about this, didn't you?"

"You've met the woman, we both know I made the right call." Asmodeus spoke out.

"... Fair enough, but you'll have to relay this to her personally then." David wished he could be more surprised, but looking after Lady Asmodeus was a job in itself. It was a job he loved, but taxing all the same. "Now then, do you have any comments on your progress so far?"

"If we're being honest sir, I'm not certain if I have made any progress this year." His young master clenched his right hand, staring at it angrily. "Yes, I've achieved Dalet(4) at the ranking exam, but other than that I've appeared to have stagnated in almost everything else. I haven't done anything notable that wasn't helped by my friends." Ah, the companions he's always going on about.

"What are you talking about big bro, you're awesome!" He looked, seeing the two young ladies that adore the young master stare with wide eyes. "It's that Izuku guy that sucks."

"He's not … that bad." Viole spoke, getting the attention of her sister.

"Damn it Viole! Ever since you met that Danger Junkie, we've stopped being in sync! Don't you see this is all a part of his plan to take away what rightfully belongs to Azz!"

"No! That Lizard Lady is the biggest threat here! Izu-kun is just a nice distraction..you know..like a fluffy bunny.." Oh dear. The young master's friend seemed to be on the minds of the Asmodeus family as a whole.

"It seems the entire family has a similar problem." The man spoke, causing everyone to turn. "They focus too much on others and their growth." The man focused on the binder filled with report cards. "There's some truth to what you've said. In terms of magic and academics, you haven't improved much at all, already being at the top of your class. The way you conduct yourself in class however has improved your situation at the beginning."

"What do you mean?" The young master was genuinely surprised at this, but he really shouldn't be. His attitude had improved much at home, barring the brief period where he hated the young Midoriya. He even played with his cousins more instead of his usual brushing off.

"While I am not opposed to dealing a more forceful hand towards the misfits, the fact that you actually went out of your way to help them study, not just Midoriya, is a significant change. Earlier in the year you likely wouldn't have stooped to even interacting with anyone you found beneath you. On some level it's laughable, but I'm not one to discourage when students put in genuine effort. Stop holding yourself back and you'll improve along with them."

"I don't hold myself back." Alice grinded his teeth.

"On the contrary. While you argue back and forth with him, it's clear as day that whatever actions you've taken lately are derived from how Midoriya views you. Most of the improvements you've made to yourself are for him. It's not unexpected, seeing a servant serve the demon that bested them." Alice twitched even more at that. "However, your magical style in itself is best suited towards combat and violence. If you try and shut that life out completely, it'll be a detriment in the future."

"I'll take that into account." The young master sighed. It was a little heartbreaking seeing him so down. "Izuku has talked about creating an offensive-defense strategy once before with my fire. I suppose it wouldn't hurt to go over it with him."

"So what you're saying is.." Viole eyes started twinkling. "...That Izu-kun being around Azz will help him be more amazing!"

"That's not what I …"

"Wow, I was wrong, Izuku is so much less shity! He's a footstool to use in big bros' quest for world domination!" Lilly squealed with her sister. "Tell me, what are we going to do with Lizard Lady?"

"Burn her alive on a skillet!" Viole finished for her. "Yay, we're back in sync again! I was starting to get worried to be honest."

"We are not burning Gaako! I'm not ruining the only other good person in that Battler besides Izuku!" The young master shouted, chasing them off.

"... I was trying to say to start growing in ways separate from Midoriya, not because of him." Kalego huffed. "It doesn't get easier for you, does it?"

"Hardly ever." David chuckled. "But I always love a challenge."

It took a few minutes but, as the responsible one in the family, it was Urara Valac's duty to calm the antics of his family. "Alright, Konchi, Keebow, no challenging Clara's teacher to a fight."

"Aw, but how will we know if he's strong enough to protect her, or strong enough to lift a million ton fun brick to toss at everyone?" Konchi innocently asked him.

"By hearing his rank and guessing it based on analysis. Or are you skipping out on homework?"

"You mean my after school snack?" Well, that explains why he always came back with an upset stomach, and the piles of wet paper outside their door.

"Sin-Sin, Ran-Ran, no climbing the teacher like he's a mountain. He'll probably hit you if you annoy him too much."

"But we've already climbed mommy, and he's taller!" The little ones complained.

"We have to be respectful, he's helping Clara, understand?"

"Yes, big bro." They pouted.

"Connor, Murf, no kicking!"

"Understood." Spoke the shoes.

"Mom, don't give him the big present. He's not going to have the time to keep carrying it around with him all day."

"So what you're saying is that I should give him about twenty smaller ones?" How did she survive to adulthood again?

"And Clara..please don't start singing. We scared away the mailman enough already with the daily musicals."

"He just needs to stay for the entire show!" This family would bury themselves alive without him around. A knocking was then heard on the door. "Aggy-teach is here!"

They made their way to the door, opened it, and greeted his sister's teacher with their usual greeting. "Kochi, Keebow, Sin-Sin, Ran-Ran, Clara and Mommy! We're the Valacs!"

Kalego took one step in the house, retracted that foot, and turned away. "That concludes my home visit." A smart man, to bad Valac logic negated all of that.

"Nonono, we've gotta ask you so many questions for our teacher!" Kochi and Keebow grabbed him.

"Clara's teacher is our teacher!" Mommy spoke as she grabbed the man herself. And sure enough, the man was put through the ringer with an entire song and show about his family asking either simple questions they should already know, or overly complicated ones that would take months for the smartest minds in the netherworld to figure out.

"Alright, that's enough." It was time to fulfill his duties. "You're giving him enough trouble as it is. Let him rest so he can do the job he was sent here for." Luckily, his family complied happily enough, allowing him to hand Kalego's suitcase back to him. "Sorry about my family. They get too excited when another demon visits." He set it down, and offered some fresh Hellgrey Tea. "Lord Kalego, we are most humbled you've journeyed to our isolated home on your venture."

"... Did you take him?" Sadly it wasn't the first time someone asked that of his mother. Truly, that was the world he lived in. At the very least his family was filled with love.

"Nope, once in a while we get a child immune to the Valac charm." His mother patted his head, probably pitying him. There was no need. Every demon's situation was unique, and he's made the best out of his. "So, how's my precious daughter doing? Not causing too much trouble?" Clara stood proudly with her arms crossed, naively confident about what her teacher had to say about her.

"The genetic struggle is clearly real." Kalego said under his breath. Again, not the first time he's heard that. "If we're being honest, she's been nothing but trouble. Quite frankly, trouble doesn't even begin to describe it, but there's more to it." He flipped through his binder. "Your daughter is very unique, powerful, and very compassionate. Her biggest flaw is that she can be quite inconsiderate at times."

Well, that wasn't news around this house. How many times did she scare off people just because her first move was to use the flail to play with them. "That bad?" His mom asked worriedly.

"She's been getting better, but that's only around one student in particular. Anyone else she either has no care for or actively tries to attack them." Oh yeah, the Midoriya guy his sister liked and tried to kiss. He's heard the rumors and seen the guy in person. He wasn't sure if he was sane or crazy. "That being said, the one student she is considerate to has been working with her on an educational and social level. Her grades have improved tremendously since her last exam, and she is even in a cult that helped maximize the effectiveness of her bloodline ability."

"Yeah, Izuku-kins is the greatest! His drawings are always fun to make in real life! I also know not to give free food to jerks!" Finally, Clara learned about not trusting every demon she comes across. Crazy or not, Midoriya could work miracles.

"Yes.." Kalego looked like hearing the danger junkie's name was the last thing he wanted to do. "Midoriya's the first and probably the only student, maybe even only demon in Bablys to see the full potential in your daughter's abilities. If she can be more aware of how powerful she can be, and be more considerate to others, she will have a bright future ahead of her."

"Yay!" The family cheered. "Let's celebrate with a song!"

"No … NO … NOOOOO!" There was little he could do here. Once a song started, there was no stopping it. Why couldn't he be traveling with dad?

"Welcome to our humble abode, 'sensei'." Rock grinned at the man walking into the room. Seemed like a nice target, very valuable. He could take anything, and not like it would be anything too bad as a consequence once the man found out. He'd probably just punish Jazzy or somethin, nothing Rock had to be concerned about.

"There are a lot of stolen products here." Kalego observed. "Not surprising from a bloodline of thieves, but you do realize I can report all of this?" The man thought he had him in a corner! Hah, you don't steal without knowing a few tricks.

"Depends on who you contact. Most of this is chump change to big wigs that wouldn't notice or care. Thieving all about knowing the right kind of people to steal from."

"Is that so? Well then, your little brother has some high clients that he's stolen from then." The boy in question looked very uncomfortable. Probably wanted to not have him hear all the mess ups he's done and bad targets he's gone after. "After all, it's not everyday a first year can swipe the Royal One from the entirety of Bablys."

"Really?" He leaned forward. "I was under the impression the whole thing was mastermind by the honor student … Mikoriya?" That man's reputation preceded him if any of those rumors had grounding. Still didn't believe the one about being a love bunny.

"While the Honor Student may have orchestrated the entire event, it was only made possible by your brother. He managed to steal critical information from a vital figure at Bablys that secured their victory on the first day." Did he now? Rock gave a glance as his still nervous brother. Was it a fact or a tale? "Yes, he caught me right off guard. Even I couldn't have anticipated taking my planner would've led to my failure." A planner? Seriously? Now he was significantly less intrigued about some boring little book. A wallet would have been much more valuable.

"Wait, you knew.."

"Of course I did. I don't allow anything to happen around you Misfits without my supervision." Wow, and he was caught and let go. Such a complete and utter shame. "However, you managed to swipe it off me without notice for a few, and that can be somewhat commendable."

"Oh really, nice to know my little bro's so special." All he needed to do was put him here and forever leave his brother in his dust. This guy didn't seem too tough. "Nice to know he is so caring.."

CRUNCH

Rock couldn't say anything, or do anything, as Kalego's hand grabbed him hard enough to break a few bones. He repressed the scream, or even physical acknowledgement of pain. Not the first time they've had broken hands from a failed attempt, that was how they're taught after all. "You're way too obvious. Maybe you should take a few lessons about subtly from your brother."

"... You did good Jazz." He spoke honestly. He would have to use his magic on this guy, yet his brother surpassed his natural skill. "I'm glad my baby bro's.."

"Wow, did you not hear what the teacher literally just said?" Huh..he..dodged? "If you're going to be so obvious about it, do it during a commotion when everyone's focus is off guard. Like now." Jazz held out..HIS WALLET?! "Oh, almost a thousand here. I'm eating well tonight."

… He's never been so proud … he'd return the boy's own wallet tonight.

He's had to deal with so much shit today. Forcing people to wake up, fighting them to the death, or avoiding that gold digging sister. However, he was still saving the worst for last.

"Izuku Midoriya." Taking Royal One, the leader of both the Misfits and the Calamity Cult, summoned the bane of his existence as a familiar, and just happened to be the grandson to the second bane of his existence, the worst crime of all. Worst than that, he had to be in a room with all three of them at once.

He never questioned Sullivan's life, and he wished it had stayed this way! His own life was his own, stop trying to force people to like your family! Now he was forced to witness it first hand. So he did what was required of him as a teacher. Gather all his mental willpower, and face this traumatic moment he would hate for all of eternity head on.

Besides, Midoriya seemed reasonable, maybe he could use the boy as a demon shield. If he was willing to up his pay again, then surely he wouldn't mind sacrificing himself for the greater good. It is what 'heroes' did after all.

Taking what could possibly be his last breath in the world, he approached the door, prayed to the devil that never answered his prayers before, and knocked. Who knows which deplorable miscreant of this household would approach him now?

"Uh..You're Izuku's teacher, right?" An unknown woman answered his door, significantly shorter than himself. She had roundish features and wide eyes along with green hair. Looking towards the last student of the day right behind her, it didn't take much to figure out who this was.

"Yes, Naberious Kalego. I've come for a parents teachers conference, Mrs Midoriya?" She seemed to be in his age range, did she come from a different school?

"Oh, ah, there's no Mrs….my husband and I are separated. Just Inko will suffice." She spoke softly, not like the loud cheering of her supposed father, or the fearful cries of her son. He derely hoped it was another Urara situation. "So you're the Kalego-Sensei that Izuku told me about. You're not scary like Papa said you were."

"I'm strict, I'm only scary to students and teachers that do not follow the rules."

"Suddenly a lot of context just got filled." Midoriya muttered to himself. "So sorry about this, sensei! I would've talked Grandpa out of it but he couldn't hear me over his laughter when he was making it official and.."

"Silence." Kalego said, though not in his usual forceful tone. "I only do the duties that are required of me as a teacher." Looks like all the important people were around. Maybe he could finally have a short visit..

"Hello Kohai." He knew it was foolish to hope. "How lovely to have you here."

"Stand back you bastard." He growled at the demon.

"Oh, and I figured we could have so much fun together, like the old days." And now that he was on a visit he had to be on best behavior, this was a planned operation.

"Opera, behave." Inko walked up to the menace and chastised him, and the terror's ears actually fell! "Izuku's teacher probably had a long day, and he most certainly doesn't need to deal with your mischievous antics late at night."

"Yes mam." Finally, a Midoriya with sense. He never thought he'd see the day. "Right this way. Master Sullivan awaits us." Don't try to hide your smile, you bastard! You know what kind of hell is awaiting him!

They walked down the halls, eventually making their way to the damned madman himself. "Ah, welcome to our humble abode. I can't wait to hear how my little Izuku-kun is doing!" Now he got it, this wasn't about information, this was just about acting the damn roll!

"Papa, don't embarrass us in front of Izuku's teacher. I am a mother, and I need to be fully informed." A sulking Sullivan appeared. He never thought he would live to see such a glorious sight! "My Papa may be the Chair Demon, but I believe your word may be more fair as a neutral party."

"Fair enough, let's start with his grades." He sat down, pulling out his file. For once he felt actually important giving a parent information when her only source was the damned chair-demon. "I'm going to be brutally honest about it. You don't mind?"

"Not at all." A demon with good taste too!

"Midoriya's grades at the beginning of the year were downright deplorable. It was like watching a newborn trying to figure out quantum theory while juggling on a tightrope. He often has to ask teachers and students questions about basic general information. While he has good study habits, it's easy to pick up that it's his first time learning such information."

"Oh, that's somewhat understandable actually." She admitted with a frown. "We lived in a very sheltered life, Izuku was born with a condition that caused others to frown upon him, and he only recently explored the world when he joined Babyls." Well some puzzle pieces were fitting into place.

"But, I can commend him for going the extra mile asking for help in the areas he lacks in." It was a tough pill to swallow, but it was also the truth. "Not only is he constantly asking questions about what he doesn't understand, he's gone out on his own to acquire a tutor who happens to be a close associate of mind. If it wasn't for that, I doubt he or over half the misfits would've passed this end of terminus."

"Yay! Izuku-kun is such a smart boy! We're throwing an after party for his after party tomorrow." Sullivan and that damn bastard put on those ridiculous hats without a hint of shame. Midoriya buried his face in his hands while Inko and him shared a similar look of exhaustion.

"Papa, please, not now, I don't have the patience for this." Yes, it was possible! A demon with the common sense to call out the fool on his antics. Don't smile yet, you might scare her off.

"My main advice for Midoriya's future growth would be this however." He turned to the boy. "You help a lot of students, but that in itself makes you a crutch. If they keep pressing on it you're going to snap. Choose when to stay out of danger and trust your fellow demons to handle themselves when needed."

Midoriya looked contemplative. "I-I understand, but I can't just look away when someone asks for help. Is it wrong to just want to help someone if they seem to be in danger?"

Oh boy, here comes the headache. "And what happens if you're in danger, do you want people risking themselves to save you too?"

"No! Of course not! My-my safety isn't as important as theirs!" The boy suddenly looked very afraid, turning to his mother, who shared an equally fearful look. The mother looked shocked, but accepting, like she knew this outburst was coming. So this was a long term process then? He trusted that she would at least straighten it out.

"Now then, I trust Izuku isn't causing any trouble, right?" She asks, as suddenly the three demons that caused him constant headaches shared a look of instinctual terror. Was she not …

"Your son is constantly getting involved in life and death situations of his own validation." Inko sternly looked to the three meneces, the two adults whistling in innocence while the boy looked like he wanted it over as quickly as possible. "Day one, after chanting a dangerous spell, he got into a fight with Asmodeus that ended when he dove straight into an attack that was about to harm another student. During the ranking exam, he encountered the deadly guardian of the valley to save another student who foolishly chose to fight it. He grew a giant tree that sent the entire class through the roof. He's constantly teaching Valac dangerous applications of her magic, experimenting with magic without fully knowing what it does and causing a ruckus during the Rookie hunt when he fought his way through numerous upper years."

The dark aura she generated continued to build as he spoke, the others slowly backing away. "Then there was an incident with a terrorist student he informed no other adults or faculty about and decided to handle it himself. Or when he was involved with a political war while spreading false information as propaganda and doubling a conspiracy he tracked without informing the student council. He was downright disrespectful to every party during his wicked phase. Finally he was involved in a quote, 'karaoke massacre', that resulted in the destruction of three roofs." That last one was actually an accident caused by setting the speaker to eleven, why it had eleven he would never know

"I...see." Inko calmly nodded to him, and gently turned to her family. "...ARE YOU PEOPLE OUT OF YOUR MIND! WHAT PART OF ANY OF THIS IS YOU KEEPING MY BABY SAFE!? ARE YOU EVEN TRYING TO PROTECT HIM BY THIS POINT!? ARE YOU ACTIVELY TRYING TO GET YOURSELF KILLED, IZUKU!? ALL OF YOU APOLOGIZE TO THIS MAN!"

"Ah, Inko, darling.."

"N̵̛̛̯͇̱̳͉̘͔̫̹̅̊̎͑̂̋̅̔͐O̸̢̧̲̭̮̙͐̿̒́̒͛W̴̪̗͔͍̭͇͇͔̤͆͑̏̌̄̀̓̊̋͐̈́͝!"

"We're sorry!" Kalego could officially die at this very moment and not care a single damn about it.

"You know, Inko right? I'd love to talk more with you about the actions the Chair Demon has taken at the school. Would you like my number?" He asked her.

"Thank you, Kalego-san, but I'm not sure if I'll need it." Why did that hurt as badly as it did? "I've been thinking long and hard about this, and I'm pretty sure that I'll be taking Izuku out of Bablys." She turned to her 'father'. "Papa, please do it by tomorrow." She was probably aware she couldn't do it herself.

"Inko, I really don't…"

"Papa, I made up my mind." She looked at him fiercely. "You said you would do anything for me and Izuku's shelter. Well, I don't believe he's safe going to a demon school anymore, so please, if you care for him like a Grandfather, do this for him."

"I.." It was now conflicting seeing the cursed chair demon's face miserable. "All right, if you say it's for the best."

"Mom, I..!" Midoriya was against it, but one glare shot the boy down.

"No buts about it Izuku! I can't trust Sullivan or Opera to watch over you during school hours, or you to not involve yourself in something dangerous! If you had a qui..if you could use magic normally, maybe I'd reconsider, but I can't lose you like this!" Her tone was sharp and solid.

She was an unflinching mother trying to protect her child. Unfortunately there were many things wrong with this situation at hand. Midoriya's self conscience would internalize more insecurities and cause the boy to regress and likely make his problems even worse. Then there was the fact his progress was affecting other students, who as he said earlier, were already using him as a crutch. Only gradual release could help those. Finally he wouldn't be able to have Inko around to stop Sullivan and his antics.

Sadly, it would seem he needed to suck up his pride. Keep one headache around for a bigger headache relevant in his life. "I won't argue with your choice. You're his proper guardian, and it would be foolish of me to assume I know better than you in terms of raising your child. But, I want you to be aware that Midoriya unenrolling would have far reaching consequences."

Inko looked at him seriously, the rage toned down, but still lingering. "Please, continue." At least it was somewhat workable at the moment.

"He's helped many students, and forged strong bonds. If they're broken so early in the process they'll cause many internal issues for many students, they'd be distracted or become closed off. I'm sure you're aware of his companionship with Valac Clara?" The woman nodded. "She has recently begun to show improved grades and mild consideration for the wellbeing of others. If they're removed from contact at this point she'll enclose herself. She'll lose any motivation to improve. The same can be said about Asmodeus Alice and the other Misfits. Quite frankly, if it wasn't for your son, I doubt any of my class would've even attempted to move up the ranks."

"That, that sounds fine, but my baby's safety is still top priority." Reasonable. What a demon wanted to protect, they had the right to do so however they could. "And it still sounds like Izuku causes you plenty of problems."

Time to rip the knife out. "Midoriya, for all his faults, is one of the more manageable student's of his year."

"You just gave two whole paragraphs on disastrous school wide events."

"And that's how you know it's a serious problem with Misfits." Inko looked surprised. If he gave the same speech to himself at the beginning of the year, he'd look the same way. "In his Wicked Phase, Midoriya told me it was his job to look over his class..over his friends." He almost barfed saying that. "Seeing what he has done up to this point, I can say he's capable of doing so. As for safety.." He needed some serious apple juice once he was back in the human world. "..I'll look after him from now on. You can trust that his reckless actions will be overseen by me personally from here on out."

She stared at him coldly, not like he was an enemy, but more like a scientist studying a rat. "I'll be watching you." He nodded, that was to be expected.

"Well then, I believe that's everything, I'll be off."

"One more thing." He paused, turning to her. "Izuku and his friends are going to Walter Park, and we're getting body guards since Papa himself can't go." Of course he wasn't going to be there. He really was a bad father. "Since you agreed to watch over him, I can't help but ask.."

"I'll be there to supervise them. There's no need to worry, Miss Midoriya."

The woman shot him a small but kind smile. "I believe I said to call me Inko."
