It breathed. Breath felt good, never really did it much while in the liquid, then in the roaring. Seeing was good too, the purple sky felt off for some unexplainable but it looked decent enough. Hearing was okay, did that all the time in the liquid, with the small one and the master.

"It's a Nomu." Nomu was it right? Nomu was what the master called it. Nomu felt right. "Our associate's 'up above' have been dealing with these creatures for a while."

"Up above? You mean the floating kingdom?" The nomu took a gander, noticing a group talking among themselves.

"Don't think about it. Just be aware it's an artificial creature made up of dozens of corpses of kidnapped creatures all over."

"Oh Devi, that just sounds horrible." Some dragonish looking girl spoke. "I know our ethics are bad but who would …"

"Doesn't matter, right now all that matters is making sure it stays down." The short haired masked man spoke.

"Are we sure it's dangerous? It just looks like it's just watching us." Spoke a cloud child as they all prepped up. Of course the Nomu was watching, Nomu wanted to learn about it's targets. The big ones were the ones he needed to fight. He didn't know how but he knew they were the strongest, they just had the bright glow to them, about as bright as the master. The smaller ones all had lesser glows, including the bunny.

A giant axe cut off the creature's arm. Must have still been waking up, he should have dodged that. "Sabnock, we told you to stand back!" The tall woman shouted.

"The one who strikes first and fast is the victor, look, it's amputated." A muscle man spoke. It was right, it's arm wasn't supposed to look like this. An arm is supposed to be long and black, not a stump.

"It might be a weaker version, we don't know the full details of-" The red haired man stopped talking as Nomu went about fixing himself. Bones formed, followed by muscles and skin. "It's regenerating. Kalego, just how strong was the first version of this creature?"

"It went toe to toe with that number one guy, but it was bigger and had shock absorption, it also regenerated. But the thing was brain dead, as soon as its owner left the thing just stood around in silence."

"So brute force isn't an option here." The second red haired man spoke.

"I would usually say never, but maybe for here. The growths are new, so it might have a new powerset all together."

"What should we do?" The bunny spoke. Nomu noticed a small cut on the arm, somehow smelling it from here. Why did it know how it could smell from here, why could it smell from here? It smelled though, and it made it furious, it made it angry..no…..it made it hungry.

"Fooood." They all stopped talking while it spoke. Why did they stop? Were they hungry too?

"What happened to it being brain dead?"

"Clearly we're dealing with something much more intelligent this time. Everyone stay on your toes and-." He ignored the mask man, making his way to the bunny before it could even blink, jaws wide open. Then the second red haired man kicked it. That kick hurt, made it mad.

"RUN!" The man kicked him over and over. That was annoying, so Nomu kicked back and sent the red haired man flying. Wow, Nomu was strong.

"Opera!" The bunny cried out, falling forward. "I still can't move!" The bunny was weak, the bunny was frail. The bunny was ready to be eaten. It reached out and prepared to smash the bunny down, make all the little bunny insides leak out before drinking its guts. "Guys…!"

"IZUKU!" The scaly pink boy ran in front of the bunny, getting in the way of its fist. "Gahhh." Now the boy was bleeding from the mouth. Why did the boy want to be hurt? Dying was stupid, unless your prey. Maybe he can eat the pink haired boy as an appetizer. Bunny was frail enough.

"Get away from my students you son of a bitch!" Did the short hair man know his mommy? Unclear, short-haired man did manage to hold him back with branches. That was annoying. Nomu reached down and started pushing air out of himself. "Are those growths making air currents?" The Nomu made the air really thin and sharp to cut the vines to pieces.

"Fooood." The Nomu saw its prey gone, sniffing the air and locating them. It would eat, or would get distracted by the first red hair kicking his head. Really annoying.

Izuku, on the back of Ameri, watched as Sabro carried the very injured Azz. Clara and Gaako were riding along on the motorbike that Clara made earlier while Picero carried the kids along with Ronove on his cloud, all of them fleeing away as that monster, the Nomu, attempted to get closer and closer to them. "We stand no chance against it. We're all drained and ripe for the picking." He dreadfully stared out into the distance.

"Azz-Azz and Izuku-kins need to be far away. Birdman really wanted to hurt them." Clara cried as they ran as fast as they could.

"That's the idea. Live to fight another day, I always say, at least, I know that now." Sabro shook his shoulder. "Hey Pinkie, are you still breathing?"

"Call me Pinkie ... again and I'll strangle … you with a … broken arm." Azz was still conscious, that was a relief.

"Guys, it's coming for round two! From the air!" Sure enough, Gaako was pointing at the now flying creature, wind coming from the pocket growths on his body. Regeneration to boot, this thing seemed like it just had multiple quirks. And Kalego-sensei and Mr Azazel's comments really set him on edge. Was there some human making corpses into these monsters? Did one of them really go toe to toe with All Might!?

"Now is not the time to mutter in despair, Izzy-kun! We need to keep focus." Ameri shook him making sure to not look back. "Keep your head up and march on forward."

"Lizzy, status report on magic." He decided to ask for his ring's help.

"Good luck, we can't do shit like this." Well that was helpful, he was too damaged to do a simple spell, and now his friends were gonna die.

"How is Azz in better shape then Izuku? Does the boy have a concussion or something?" Oh right, Sabro didn't see or hear Lizzy at any point. He probably looked insane, well more insane, to everybody not in the know.

The beast, the Nomu, was closing in, only to be dogpilled by Cerberus, who began pounding the walking corpse into the ground. "Run faster you fools, I'll be grading this!" At the very least Sabro managed to up his speed.

"I hate this game!" Clara cried as Gaako held on tightly. He wished he didn't hear those words come out of her mouth. "Games should be fun, exciting, and not involve the chance at getting killed at any point!" He'd call her out about some of her own questionable games, but Clara freaking out about anything was already distressing enough as it is.

"Look, guys. I don't know why, but it's chasing after me." Izuku spoke to the others. "If you just drop me, you'll have a better chance at escaping.."

"Are you kidding me!? What about all that sappy gush we just went through with the one for all chant!?" Gaako screeched at him. "Is there a hole in your head that's making your brain leak out!?"

"That was a possible plan at blocking a giant laser about to kill us all regardless. THIS is a mangled monster giving even the teachers trouble."

"Izuku, I know you want to be a hero, and believe me, you couldn't be any cooler in my books after today, but don't be an idiot!" Sabro yelled at him next. "Having ambition requires you to live, you know!"

"I will not drop you, but I'll beat you to a pulp if you think about anything like that!" Ameri screamed, roars heard as the Cerburus became airborne. "Even if we die trying, we're not going to abandon you, you mean as much to us as we mean to you."

"Guys, I...I don't mean a thing to anything! I was cast aside like trash back home, I was born weaker than everyone else, I shouldn't even exist!" He knew it was wrong to say something like this NOW of all times, but this was no longer about being a hero, this was about making sure no one else died. "You guys have given me more support and love than I could have ever asked for, and I can't have you guys waste anymore time on me!"

"You're my best friend! I'm never gonna waste time if it means helping you!" Clara shouted with teary eyes as Nomu came down in front of them.

"Annoying. So annoying. Hungry! So hungry! GIVE! ME! FOOOOD!" It shouted, blades of wind forming in an effort to dice them to pieces. It was blocked by an army of ever increasing frogs that slowly drowned the beast in toxins.

"Hurry! That's hardly going to hold it back!" Morax-sensei yelled at them, and they barely made it out of view before it casted her aside just like the others.

"Guys...please...I can't stand to see anyone one else get hurt!"

"And we can't … stand you … hurt …" He heard Azz speak, blood leaking from his mouth with a weak weeze. "Demons are selfish … only care about … close people … your close … we'll sacrifice if it means … keeping you alright … moron."

"Azz…!"

"W-why...why...are...you...the only...one...capable...of sacrificing...for….what...you..love? Wh-why can't we..do..the..same..with...you?" Azz weezed. "I..I..even after becoming your friend...I would've never thought I was capable...of...doing something like this, but when I saw you about...to die...my body...just...moved on its own. I-it's harder to see others in pain than it is to stomach your own. Y-you...you feel like that all the time...don't you?"

Izuku was floored, unable to respond as Azz just laid all this on him. Unable to make a single sentence to reject anything that was said about him. He saw how apathetic they were and it made him sick. But they went through the effort to protect him anyway. To save someone like him. "Thank you." He spoke, tears building in his eyes. "Thank you all."

"There's nothing to thank us for, Izuku-kins." Clara shot him the sweetest smile he's seen. She was so beautiful with that smile. "We're only doing what we want. We don't need a reason to see you happy."

One of the frogs ribbited from Clara's shoulder. "You should really ditch it. Those things are poisonous, you know. Pretty much Morax's only move." Gaako tried to say as they ran fast.

"But froggy-chan is so nice. He's been sticking with me even as we ran." Clara patted the thing, they would have to wash that off later. Wait, something was off.

"But the frogs should avoid students, they follow the commands of Morax." It was a fair point Ameri made. She should have complete control down to the biology since it just existed with magic. Every atom and cell. His mind froze.

"It's been quiet." He pointed out. "There's supposed to be constant noise yet nothing's been said." Another more prevalent thought occurred. "How did the Nomu thing hide inside of the Magical Beast?" It was made on earth, it was part demon if it was craving his blood, yet it had multiple abilities not relating to magic, meaning it had multiple quirks somehow, which meant.. "Clara, drop the-" A hand came up out of the frog, grabbing Ameri hard enough for a crack to be heard. "It's hiding in living things!"

"How the hell can such a monster exist in the first place?!" Gaako screeched as Ameri did her best to squeeze out of its grip. "Ameri!"

"Get away from them!" Picero's voice cried out, and a whole 'wave' of earth crashed into the beast. "Ugh, you guys and your talking. If that thing dies, can I go back to…" The beast appeared back up, looking more rocky. "It's … becoming the ground?"

It roared, about to try and attack once again … only for its eyes to widen, guarding an unseen enemy. Said enemy was Mr Azazel, white hair, kicking the thing hard enough to send the group flying if it wasn't for Picero giving them cushion. "Leave my princess alone." He spoke to the bottom half of the corpse, the top half flying in the air.

"Guys, keep running. I think I may have something that'll help us." His body was still incapable of moving, but he could still move an arm if he tried hard enough, and he still could move his mouth. "It won't be a pretty sight, so don't freak out."

Kalego glared at the creature currently locked in a hold with Cerberus. This thing was much more effective than the USJ creature he heard Aizawa talk about. It was predicting them and making counters with every attempt. He's seen the damage it's done to his associate, immobilizing him for days and limiting his quirk use. Now he was facing a similar predicament, putting in every ounce of effort to prevent the monster from tearing apart his students.

Shichirou was nigh useless in this fight. He could pretty much just shove whatever he wanted to stall, bind, or chip away at the damn thing. None of it mattered though when the monster jumped inside of their vines and it became a game of hide and damn seek! He and Opera at least had enough experience dealing with Valac to not be caught off guard.

Morax gave up her plan of poisoning it, launching multiple elemental attacks of various varieties. They mainly stuck to lightning and gravity considering its ability to control wind, absorb rocks, and hide in organics.

All that left was him, wielding a massive three headed beast that could break the constantly regenerating thing, Opera who's only option was to kick it, and Azazel, who at least had the decency to wield a size changing sword for any occasion.

"Damn it, after all the trouble I went through to promise Midoriya's mother I'd look after him." He still didn't fully understand why, okay, it was mostly because being on her good side would keep Sullivan in line, but it still was a broad promise to make for someone he just met. Something about those innocent-looking eyes just made him want to reassure her.

"This is my fault as well for once Kohai, I should have scouted this place before arriving to protect everyone. It was a careless move on my part." Opera spoke genuinely as they fought the beast hand to hand, well hands, feet, and tail to blades and wind powered fists.

"So this thing just jumps inside of cells? How in the nine rings does that work? I don't have anything to counter that other than hand to hand, and I've been a bit rusty compared to the rest of you." Shichirou spoke, using weapons of wood as a means to try and attack the thing so at the very least, they would be aware of where it hid.

"There's much we should discuss, but only after we've taken this monstrosity out." Kalego knew Shichirou would have a field day knowing that he had access to the human world. His closest companion might not be able to contain himself.

The beast paused its movements, looking in a direction. "Food … gone. You … bastards!" It shouted angrily. Probably the most disturbing part in all honesty, it managed to learn about them, now rushing at Opera, only to be cut up by Henri once again.

"At the very least the students are out of range … so let's add a little more force to our actions!" The man swung his blade hard enough to leave a large gash in the ground. Finally, it was hard to keep their actions to what they were.

"Cerberus, Run Rampant, Kill!" The beast grew completely feral, spikes formed along its body as the size increased, foam forming as it went into chomp the beast, only for the bastard's arms to grow back and grab the jaws, holding open long enough to fix itself and jettison away once again.

"It seems to take a deep breath every time it plans to attack with air." Opera observed. "It's like a vacuum. If we can stop it from expelling or inhaling, we'll be able to take out its long range attacks."

"Easier said than done." Morax spoke as the beast shifted its skin into stone, roaring at the group. She countered with a large wave of water. "Do we have a head count on how many abilities this thing has? Cause I've counted four so far."

"That sounds about right. It can regenerate, adapt it's skin to the environment, use the air, and the obvious surplus of strength." Henri recalled.

"No, I count six." They turned on Shichirou, even as they tried to go in for the kill. "The things being hidden inside of animals and plants, bio compartments. But there's something else. Its sensory range is far beyond what it naturally should be for a creature this size, and it seems to know what we're about to cast or how we're about to move. Even how much mana we're about to do. Based on the structure of its muscles, the raw strength and speed is all just natural."

"That at least explains how it's able to keep finding the students. Great." He sighed. "If we don't stop this, it'll just keep going after them and anyone else that gets in the way."

"I would love to hear your options Kohai." Opera said, punching their way through the stone skin and into the organs of the beast. "Because I'm quickly running out of them myself."

"Just keep the offensive up, all these abilities were bio engineered. Its regeneration isn't based on mana, but stamina." Kalego observed. That's how quirks worked right? Regardless of the difference in abilities between human and demon, there were limits to each. "Shichirou, will you be able to tie it down, even for a second?"

"We've got about a three second cooldown for that bio compartment ability, so make it count when you give me the signal." Glad to know they could still count on their obsessive nature with life to notice the finer details.

"Good, because once we get close, we need to do all we can to suffocate this abomination. Opera, Henri, can you keep up the pace and hold it off for a minute? We need both your brutish strengths and tactics to keep it at bay."

"Anything for a fellow Battler member." For once, Opera could be more annoying to his enemy than him, if that screaming and ranting it constantly gave was any consideration.

"Morax, freeze it and the ground, limit it's options and double its gravity." He told her.

"Understood!" She did just that, hitting it with a wave of cold as the beast slipped on the ground.

"BITCH!" And with that, the creature was exhalling, trying to release the air it had gathered. It was promptly forced to use it as blades to block Henri's attack, allowing the beast to be kicked by Opera. "Just let me eat! Stop attacking me you shits!" The thing was getting eloquent.

Kiriwo idly watched as the hatch was broken, making his way out of the cell. 1313 was a nice number while he had it, but all things had to come to an end, even this lovely little vacation he supposed. He's had plenty of time to reflect on his experience at Bablys. Now he was certain he was ready to show the world nothing but sweet sorrow.

"Yo 1313, you gave us the wrong door number!" He heard the shout of X face, turning to see the face of the others. Ah, they were so nice to him in prison, all of the care and support they gave someone as defenseless as him. It was quite nostalgic.

"Are we rescuing them too?" Wett asked the boy. Such a yes man when it came to the job. Lacked the drive the others had, but was the only person stern and insane enough to lead the Six Fingers effectively. Well at the very least he was no Ocho, everyone hated that crazy bastard.

"Hm, they would cause more trouble, which would lead to more despair." It was obvious at this point their little side quest of destroying Walter Park had failed, somehow. "Nah, there's no point now. They'd just get caught again right away."

"What, but, you promised!" The new guy, 1182 shouted. Oh so naive, so innocent about how this world worked. This prison was going to eat him alive after a whole month.

"Promise? If I recall correctly, all I said was that I would gather the Six Fingers at Walter Park and cause a riot. I never said a single word about breaking you out. Not my fault you jumped to conclusions." He watched them gap with realization. "Thanks for the fun though, you lot were great."

Kiriwo watched the faces of utter despair, bringing him such joy and pleasure … for a solid second. Then his high came back down. "Damn it, they're just in the same position they were at before, it's not enough." He could still see that innocent smile, haunting him. "I need to go further than just the agony of betrayal. I need to go further than false hope based on idiocy." All this time and he hadn't made any headway into it! "Damn it, Deku-kun. You really know how to put a damper into a demon's fun." It made him realize that there was a further level of despair he hadn't reached yet, so it was a double-edged sword.

"Deku-kun?" Sheeda questioned with a bit of a scowl. "Where...did you learn...that name?" Oh, interesting.

"A boy named Izuku Midoriya told me. Are you interested?" He asked, getting a frown in return. "Oh, you are. I'm truly sorry Sheeda, it's just … we've built this connection." He smiled. "As a companion I'll let you take him after i'm done though, make him real happy if you want." Given Deku-kun's general naivety, he'd probably die within two minutes of being alone with her from just her touching alone. That's what made that strong determination really irritating, it made the naivety harder to exploit.

"Wow, two crazies on him. This Midoriya kid must be a riot." Atori laughed. He and Sheeda made a silent pact to not let them meet, Atori never appreciated the slow burn and connection one should share with a target, they just liked blatant destruction and numbers. It was a little of a mood ruiner at times, but still could be fun in a massive panic. Also still better than fucking Ocho.

"No, he's just the most interesting and irritating hurdle I've come across. I never thought I had to change my approach until I met him." The sheer determination on his face, happily giving up his own life if other's would live. How can you make someone like that despair? "I've realized since then there are some fools still capable of hoping even when there's nothing to be gained. As long as that drive to keep going, to go beyond one's limits exists in the hearts of Demons, our mission will never truly be complete."

But how could he burn out that determination? The only options would be the extinction of the race as they all wear themselves out to death, or find the level of complex despair that yet again alluded him at every possible turn. "Did you really spend the last three minutes explaining your emotional problems instead of doing the simple thing of leaving or breaking the lock?" The one eyed demon from earlier asked, interrupting his train of thought.

"Yes, because I don't care about what you want and would rather you all suck sulfur and die." He greeted them.

"I mean, there's punishment, then there's torture, then there's despair, then there's just cruel and unusual punishment." The green haired one said.

"Alright, you guys are really killing the mood here. You know what, rip off a limb or two if you want, just leave them alive enough to suffer for it." Kiriwo walked away, the screams only bringing him minor joy. "How's it going up there?"

"Got a secret project from the Master. Would be nice to see it in action, but what we do know is that the thing should keep everyone off guard enough for an escape." Wett shrugged.

"My palm … will rupture!" Romanticist wasn't usually meant for long and drawn out fights, but this he was one to stick to it even to the end, regardless of how much it hurt to push on. "This is it! Whatever you're planning, it has to be now!" He and Opera kept pounding the creature, each arm of the monster was capable of reacting fast enough to both of them at the same time, and he was starting to feel himself slow down ever so slightly.

"Allright, give it one more big hit, then bind it up Shichirou!" Kalego shouted. Henri hit the beast hard enough with a wide palm, causing its internal organs to explode. That should stall it for a bit. The biologist teacher bound the beast up, locking it to the ground.

"Two seconds!" Balam reminded the man.

"Now! Now! Overwhelm the beast! Don't give it a second to even breathe!" Cerberus launched from Kalego and the monstrous cannanie began tearing into Nomu's neck. "Don't hold up for even a second!" And it didn't, the corpse's head went rolling, neck destroyed to separate from body. "There, now it's-" The creature's head started to twitch. "How in all of existence does it do that!?"

"Don't know, don't care, this ends now!" Henri leapt forward and with all the strength he had he smashed the bio-weapon's head into mush. If he so much as saw a sign of movement he crushed the splattered remains into a thorough paste.

They waited with silent breaths, and no signs of movement. Morax suddenly had a thought. "Did it occur to none of us to try and destroy the exposed brain?"

"It did come completely out of nowhere and was trying to kill a couple of our students." Balam said with a sigh and a facepalm. "That probably impared our judgment just ever so slightly."

"Doesn't matter, the deed is done." Opera stated.

"Not quite, if this thing was really made by who I think it was, there should have been someone to make it. The Border Patrol is closing in soon, but there's a lot of ground to cover and we have no clue what they were doing during the chaos." Henri spoke to the group. "The body will be taken into custody, I have someone who can help study it. State matter Balam, the answer is no." He interrupted without even looking.

"Fair enough. All there's left to do at this point is find our students before something else comes along." And as if one que, said students, including his little princess along with the little ones in the cloud, came up, looking in surprisingly better condition than when they were fleeing. He could've sworn Ameri's hand was bruised earlier.

"We came with a plan and a weapon … but it looks like you guys have this one covered." Izuku Midoriya, the bastard being kept in his princesses arms, muttered. The animal look they shared only made the situation weirder.

"He shall make blood pacts, and heal everyone..." Sabnock muttered idly to the side, looking back and forth to Izuku and everyone else in astonishment. "Is this what the prophecy meant?" Looking back to Izuku, he could see significant cuts that looked like his own teeth marks on his right arm.

"Aww, I even brought a super big bomb this time!" Valac showed off the firework creation they had made earlier in the year. That, probably would have had some stomping power compared to a lot of their actions.

"Probably for the best. I've had enough explosions and fighting for a while." Asmodeus, showing no signs of Nomu's assault on him, now stood injury free. "How long is the transformation supposed to last? It feels weird being cold blooded."

"Imagine how I'm supposed to feel. I actually feel too hot for the first time in my life!" The little dragon girl now having normal skin complained.

"Aww, but I like being big and buff." Valac idly complained.

"I think the ears are nice." Yes, his princess was looking quite spectacular.

"You guys have it lucky." Izuku spoke. "I'm pretty sure I've got changes I don't even know about. I mean I was at the center so something purely cosmetic might not have just happened."

"We can figure that out after we recovine with the rest, and chide you on your foolishness of coming back after you were supposed to run away."

"No!" Shouted the second year that sparkled. "We must celebrate their heroism! Ronove's Daddy will throw a parade in their honor!" How did they keep forgetting the boy existed?

"Ah, that's a bit much, don't you think Ronove?" Izuku tried to calm down the second year. "We just barely survived, and I'd rather no one see me when I'm like this…"

"Bunny Bush! Bunny Bush!" The little ones in the cloud kept chanting. "He saved us! Everyone should see the smiling bunny that saved us!"

"If we're having a parade, it won't be in the name of Bunny Bush." Asmodeus scoffed, already acting completely fine. "It needs to be something much more elegant."

"Like what?" Izuku pondered. "There's only one name I have in mind, and I'm not in the mood to appreciate the irony of being cheered 'useless.'"

Gaako looked at the group, before grinning. "Cheers for One For All!" Henri's eyes widened at that little fact. He heard rumors of a villain with an opposing name, and they might be somewhat responsible for this, but this was unrelated, so he hid away his surprise.

"One For All?" Izuku asked.

"Yeah, that makes sense. You're constantly bringing everyone's strengths together and using them as one to protect everyone around you." Ameri smiled fondly, throwing the boy attop her shoulders. "The United Hero: One For All!"

"One For All!" Sabnock, Valac, and the second year chanted. They hoisted the boy up and down.

"One For All! One For All! One For All!" The little kids cheered with the brightest smiles he's ever seen. Well, he supposed some celebration was in order. After all, they did survive this event.
