Naruto Uzumaki Namikaze was never a normal child, even from a young age he dreamt like any other except his dreams did not contain the same methodical tune as others, no his Dreams were the stuff of nightmares filled with misery and anguish, and every time he dreamed Naruto found himself understanding the cosmos more and more. They do say secrets are secrets for a reason, and perhaps it is better to be blissfully ignorant than to understand what lies beyond the mere comprehension of humans.

These nightmares started soon after he was born but that was fine he was just going through a phase he would be fine, Sadly this naïve hope did not last the problem only grew worse as the months went by. Eventually, he learned how to speak, and with his vocabulary expanding he could explain what he dreamt of this did nothing to ease The Hokage and his wife. Of course, all of this wasn't common knowledge among the residents Of Konoha. As the years went by Naruto was assigned therapy sessions with various high-ranking members of the Yamanaka clan, alas they could not try and treat something they couldn't understand.

Nearly 3 years later and Naruto is currently preparing for his venture into that other world, a world that is both terrifying and insightful, a world that is as close as hell incarnate would get.

And as his mother and father say goodnight he feels his eyelids become heavy and drift into a world of dreams and nightmares.

The first thing he heard as he awoke was the sound of dripping water, something he wasn't used to normally he'd hear the screams and howls of beasts and men alike, but it wasn't just the sound that was different the environment was different as well instead of bloody streets he stood in a dilapidated fishing hamlet.

Naruto had felt this same feeling before but not to this extent, this was more intense just looking around felt like it was tearing his young brain apart something so wrong yet so right.

"Where am I ?" Naruto asked in a frightened voice,

As he had been in similar situations before (except without this more intense feeling)

Naruto knew exactly what to do, he scanned the area for somewhere to find or climb up onto, and low and behold there was a pile of boxes he could use to get to the roof.

After seeing a way up to the roof of the building he silently crouched down and made his way over to the boxes, then Naruto with a lot of effort pulled himself onto the box before using a bit of chakra to boost himself onto the roof.

After dragging his small body onto the roof he saw a strange blue creature with multiple eyes and a white spine spiking out its back, a truly horrific creature and if things couldn't get any worse the monster turned around and stared right into Naruto's bright blue eyes.

And as soon as the malformed thing saw him it dashed forward with a metal spear and Naruto had a moment of clarity.

~~~_1-week Flashback_~~~
"Now that you have unlocked your chakra I want to try and see your chakra affinity although you won't be able to use any heavy chakra intensive Jutsu, due to your inexperience in nature manipulation" Minato, The fourth Hokage explained affectionately.
"Ok but why is it dangerous, you use it?" Naruto asked in childlike curiosity.
"Most elemental jutsus require a certain level of chakra control and experience with your element, like if you had a wind affinity you would try to cut a leaf cleanly in half, then there are even more advanced ones you don't need to worry about at the moment," Minato replied with a smile.
Minato then proceeded to give the young Uzumaki a piece of chakra paper from trees bathed in chakra.
"Push some of the chakra as I showed you into the paper and we will see your affinity, if it cleanly cuts in half it's wind if it crumbles away its earth if it becomes wet it's water if it crinkles up its lighting and finally if it catches fire it's fire," Minato explained in a kind informative manner.
"Like this?" Naruto asks as he pushes chakra into the paper, the paper then Crinkles up before becoming soggy.
"Well done Naruto!" Minato exclaims proudly
"Thanks, dad Soooo said could you please teach me something basic to protect myself? Those things are scary and want to hurt me." Naruto explained to his father.
'While those dreams he talks about aren't real it would be beneficial for him to have something to protect himself for the worst-case scenario.' Minato thought to himself.
After some back and forth in his head Minato decided to teach Naruto the bare basics of channeling lighting nature into his hand, while not that effective in certain situations it could be useful.
~~~_Flashback Over_~~~

'It's now or never I'm sorry,' Naruto thought before channeling a tiny bit of a lighting chakra to his hands. He had been trying all week and hadn't fully mastered it yet but there was no other choice.

And so as the strange creature was about to stab him with the spear, Naruto placed his hands onto it and as the electricity made contact with the water on the beast it was electrocuted and the bluish skin began to melt off leaving a horrible stench.

As the beast fell to the floor Naruto looked on in horror as it twitched before ceasing to move the feeling in his head intensified, its dead eyes stared straight into his, and this continued for a few minutes before pulling himself together.

After standing up Naruto stared at the creature's weapon, a spear made of a strange metal with some kind of strange blue barnacles crawling up the spear.

A short moments later he snapped out of the daze he was in and started to drag the heavy spear carefully across the roof looking for somewhere safe to hide. After around five minutes of walking atop the roof of the traumatized hamlet the roofing came to an end and led onto a hill.

Naruto strangely felt something compelling him to make his way up that hill, a feeling that the further he moves through this town the more horrible it gets yet he cannot stop, he has to continue.

And continued he did and at the top of the hill was a grave with a flower that looked like a sunflower yet he knew it wasn't, and as he looked forward he saw the corpse of some kind of white squid that had 2 arms and the same spine as the thing he killed.

The feeling that had plagued him all his life, the feeling of worms crawling and nibbling around in his brain, the feeling that was telling him to continue forward even though he'd much rather hide.

He needed to go down there, needed to know what it was no matter how much his brain hurt, and no matter how much the worms crawl he would find out what IT was.

And so he made his way over to the edge and jumped, in the future, he would reminisce on how stupid that was but he would also in the same light recall the feeling that beckoned him to that beach shore.

"Aaaaaaa" Naruto screamed in pain, breaking his left leg.

Although he was in agony he still limped forward. IT was so wrong yet so right, so disgusting yet so beautiful Naruto didn't know what it was but in his very soul, he understood that it was beyond the mere comprehension of humans whether they were ninjas or civilians.

As Naruto looked at IT his mind began to understand the cosmos more and more comprehending what he was never meant to understand, this process was called gaining eyes on the inside by the students of Byrgenwerth and high ranking members of the healing church.

While viewing the beautiful thing it began to move, no someone or something was moving from inside of it and eventually a bluish humanoid thing emerged with white fins adoring Its body.

When it emerged it also brought with it the placenta of the dead thing or as dead as something like IT could be.

And as it stood up and cried into the horizon Naruto stared in confusion and pity that soon turned to terror as it turned around and looked at him, in pure anger the orphan suddenly rushed at him, and seconds before he would be a stain on the floor he woke up, although Naruto would never be the same again.

~~~_Back In The Waking World_~~~
"Aaaaaa" Naruto screamed out for the second time in recent memory, as soon as Minato and Kushina heard this they rushed as fast as they could, unsure of what they'd find.
They found Naruto curled up in a ball mumbling to himself and crying, Kushina quickly ran over to him and scooped him up into her arms only to realize he was clutching a spear of some sort.
"Are you alright? And where did that spear come from?" Kushina questioned him affectionately while stroking his hair although she was bewildered about the spear.
'My head still hurts, I don't want there's to hurt as well, I need to keep this a secret for now for their sake,' Naruto thought sadly in his head.
"I had another one of my dreams it hurt a lot and it was really scary, I don't want to talk about it as for the spear I found it earlier and I didn't know if I would be allowed to keep it, sorry," Naruto replied with a white lie. It wasn't exactly true but not entirely false either.
"If you say so, remember you can always talk to us ok?" Kushina asked kindly with Minato nodding as well.
"Ok, Mom and Dad," Naruto replied
"Alright try and get some more sleep, call us if you need us," Kusina said in a tired voice, Naruto merely nodded although he wouldn't be dreaming again tonight.
The next morning Naruto woke up and the feeling in his head remained.
"Breakfast Naruto!" Kushina shouted Upstairs.
After Naruto heard this he rushed downstairs, then he decided that jumping onto the chair was the best option.
"Here you go, waffles!" Kushina said pumping her fist in the air.
"Thanks, mom!" Naruto replied digging in.
Halfway through eating Naruto looked out of the window and saw a shape falling from the sky, mesmerized by it he quickly got off his chair and ran and opened the door to follow the strange object, but as The young child opened the door something else awaited him something that has always been there he just didn't have enough eyes to see them.
Multiple Giant creatures curled around buildings with too many arms or legs to count spiking out all over their body, they also have fleshy heads with a visible skull that has holes all over it.
When he looked at this thing he got the same nibbling feeling in his head After seeing and realizing this Naruto just ran.
'What the hell are those things, why is nobody reacting to those things!' Naruto screamed in his head in terror.
He couldn't believe nobody could see those… things so he ran straight towards a fruit stand in the market district.
"Excuse me can you see that thing," Naruto said pointing frantically at things only he could see.
"I don't see anything boy." The lady replied snappily.
"How can you not see it, they are crawling up buildings How Can You Not See Them they are everywhere!" Naruto shouted angrily.
By this time with all of Naruto and his shouting, quite the crowd had gathered around watching muttering to themselves things like "is that the Hokage's child" or "he is disgracing the Hokage's name".
After realizing the commotion and embarrassment he was making he quickly pushed through the crowd as Naruto ran he decided to take a shortcut through an alley. only when he got there the alley was filled with red circular bloated creatures with tentacles spiking all out of the creature's bodies.
As the creatures tried to reach out to him with their tentacles, as soon as Naruto saw this he started to back up before continuing towards the strange object he saw fall out of the sky.
He continued sprinting in the direction he saw it land in not stopping for anything, After around five more minutes of running Naruto found himself in the middle of training ground 31, and there it was a purple-cloured rock with…. fossilised Eyes on it even though it was freaking him out something was comforting about this rock something was telling him he would regret not taking it.
"Naruto you cant just worry us like that me and your dad were worried sick!" Kushina said worriedly finally catching up and giving Naruto a hug.
"Mom, do you see it? The eyes on the rock nobody I've asked can see the monsters on the buildings, can you see them?" Asked Naruto in a strangely calm voice.
"No Naruto, no I can't let us go home shall we," Kushina responded quite confused Naruto merely nodded and started trying to drab the heavy rock.
"Do you want me to carry that?" Kushina asked Naruto with a smile.
"Yes please," Naruto replied quite subdued.
Later that day Minato and Kushina were getting ready to go out for a few hours just for a nice meal.
"Will you be alright for a few hours Naruto? And use this if anything happens." Minato asked before giving him a chakra beacon.
"Use this and we will know if your in trouble." Said Kusina in an informative voice, Naruto nodded in response.
"We will see you in a bit Naruto bye." said both Minato and Kushina before closing the door.
After they left he went and lay on his bed for around 30 minutes before hearing some kind of sound downstairs, getting up to investigate and picking up the heavy spear he tiptoed to the edge of the stairs and as he looked downstairs there was a ninja he/hers affiliation unknown.
As he was thinking the Ninja started to make their way up the stairs intent on harming the young Uzumaki, when Naruto heard this he quickly hid behind the staircase waiting for an opportunity to strike, and strike he did, when the ninja was at the top of the stairs Naruto attacked them from behind impaling the heavy spear through their chest before ripping it out squirting blood everywhere, and as Naruto turned away to get the chakra beacon he heard breathing still.
When he heard this he dragged his spear that was already covered in blood and stood before the ninja as he pointed his spear downwards towards their head.
And in an instant, there was the squelching noise of metal tearing through flesh.
