9:05 a.m.

As Miss Hardberry passes crayon boxes and sheets of paper around the class, everyone begins talking to their peers.

Hannah claps her hands. "Oooh!" she squeals lightly. "Are we gonna color? I love coloring!"

"Me too!" Sonic replies. "My favorite color's blue."

Charlie smiles. "Mine too!"

Then Barbra chimes in. "Well, I have two favorite colors," she says. "Pink and yellow."

"I like yellow, too!" Hannah comments. "Also red."

After Miss Hardberry passes the crayons around, she walks up to the front of the class. "Alright class," she begins to explain. "Before recess begins, I want you all to draw a picture of your family, or just the people you live with."

The kids nod in response as they begin drawing. Sonic grabs his blue crayon and draws a circle for his head. He then draws three spikes on the side of the head to match his quills. A few minutes into drawing, Miss Hardberry walks over to the table and sees the kids' artwork.

"Very nice!" she compliments them. She then notices Sonic's colorful family; blue Sonic, purple Aleena, green Jacob, and red violet Sonia. "Wow! What a beautiful display of colors!"

"Thanks!" the blue hedgehog responds to her.

Hannah waves her drawing to the orange fox. "Teacher," she says excidedly. "what do you think of mine?!"

Miss Hardberry sees the female hedgehog's drawing: orange Hannah, red dad, and yellow mom. "How lovely, Hannah," she says.

"Thank you!" Hannah says back. "Also, are you married?"

The young teacher blushes in embarrassment. That question that girl asked feels so inappropriate to her. She finally says to Hannah, "No, I'm not. Also, please refraim from asking personal questions like that. It's great that you want to learn more about me, but let's keep this class professional."

Hannah lowers her head in shame. "Yes, teacher."

As Miss Hardberry is about to walk away, Charlie decides to blurt out to her, "Miss Teacher, are you a kindergartener?"

The teacher freezes, and all the classmates look at the light blue rabbit and laugh at him. Charlie's eyes fill up with tears and runs out of the classroom. Sonic frowns, hurt to see his new friend like that.

"Charlie, wait!" he cries, following the sad rabbit.

The class continues laughing until Miss Hardberry raises her voice, unable to tolerate the bullying. "Class, that's enough!" she hollers. The laughter dies down, and the teacher begins to scold them. "We do not make fun of other students. I'm gonna go find Sonic and Charlie, and when we get back, I expect you all to be on your best behavior."

She walks out of the classroom, and the 18 remaining kids begin talking about various questions to ask Miss Hardberry.

"I wonder if she picks her nose?" a red parrot boy asks.

"Is she a superhero?" a white tiger girl wonders.

A male gray wolf then exclaims, "I wanna asks her where babies come from!"

"Do you think she likes butterflies?" Barbra innocently wonders.

"What kind of question is that?" Hannah asks the pink hedgehog.

"It's just a question!" Barbra raises her voice.

As the kindergarteners kept talking/yelling, a small red robot holding an 80's style camera enters the room. All the kids stop talking and turn their heads to the robot as he asks them, "Excuse me, but is this Room 1?"
