Chapter 23

With everything slow settling in, there was one final thing to do…

Gojo for once was happy with this little turn of events since he finally got time with Yua all to himself. She has his limitless abilities, however she cannot use them to the same extent as he can, but lessons were needed to summon such ability and then use it in battle.

What he didn't anticipate was her learning as fast as she did. If anything, it's very similar to when Suiryu sees a technique for the first time, he is able to visually dissect it and then piece together what is needed to use the form properly and the power.

They had trained for two hours, and much to his surprise, Yua was very fluid in using limitless.

The six eyes ability allows him to see every speck of curse energy that comes from someone, something or even it lingering in the air. He can see everything before it happens, which is why limitless to him appears so simple.

However, Yua was utilizing it nearly as good as him! Despite the fact she doesn't see curse energy, she was nearly as proficient as him in using the barrier technique to at least block, or deflect attacks.

They came to a pause as Gojo was grinning like an idiot to it all. 'She's a lot stronger than what she let the elders believe… then again, when I last saw her, she was dying… is this was a Tooru is truly capable of?' he wondered to himself. Of course, he wouldn't admit it out loud that she did really well, the best he could bring himself to say was.

"Not bad,"

Yua smirked at him, her hands went on her hips. "Oh really? I just learned this and you said it's not bad?" she questioned sarcastically. "Or did you not think I could keep up with you?"

"Marry me?"

"That's not answering my question," she snapped back. "Besides, I think I understand the principle aspect of your ability. Limitless is at its most powerful with the six eyes ability, since six eyes processes and sees all curse energy down to the fragment. As such, you are able to apply limitless to its most efficient way."

He giggled at her deduction. But the thing is, he noticed she was using it nearly as well as he did. How?

"You have the right idea. I am curious though as to how you were able to control it. It's not easy. Even members of my family have trouble with this all the time."

"Well… I see curse energy differently too," she confessed.

Instantly, she got his attention. He has always wanted to ask her this too. "It gathers around you differently too, it's… beautiful." He said, yet froze as the words slipped out of his mouth.

Yua however didn't look into it. She continued to process her lesson. "At the same time, the use of this is practical but at the same time it has to always be on for you… which is where your reverse jujutsu comes in handy…"

"Refresh the brain constantly so it doesn't tire, yep!" he decreed. "What else you noticed? How hot I look when I fight?"

"Please, grow up." she snapped back. But her mind was thinking now. She appeared to have an idea rattling in her head now.

"Yua…" he began to say.

"YUA!"

He frowned instantly as Suiryu began to call for her. He still doesn't understand his deal with Yua. He's not interested in her like he is with Nobara, so why is Suiryu so clingy?

"Hey Suiryu, it's time isn't it?" she asked.

"Yeah, we're waiting for you now. You coming six eyes?"

Gojo paused. "What exactly is going on here?" he asked in confusion.

Yua smirked. "We're planning our next move. This isn't the last of the elders, since after all. They are like spoiled brats when they don't get their way. They will look for other methods until they get what they desire. Which is our death. Not happening! So, as such, we're going to plan for what's to come. You want in?"

He grew curious but nodded.

After all, with what has happened, there is still much more to prepare for!

Meanwhile…

The elders had watched their grandchildren train. It would be weeks later, after the failed attack. They managed to guilt their grandchildren into thinking they were weak and pathetic. Since they, they aimed to please them. To work harder than ever before.

Today, was a good day.

Mosu had finally managed to summon a solidified jade wolf with the ten shadows technique. He was able to keep him out and about for over an hour before calling it back.

He was so proud of himself for reaching such a milestone.

In fact, the others have come along nicely as well. Two managed to succeed in using limitless, one has the blood manipulation ability down perfectly and the last one has been able to tame curses like Suguru Geto use to.

They have come a long way since, and now, it's time to reap its benefits.

They called their grandsons to the main dining hall, they would be celebrating their achievements today.

The five grandchildren couldn't wait. Mosu was the most excited out of all of them. "A jade wolf, can you believe it? I can summon a jade wolf!" he said proudly.

The others rolled their eyes to him.

They sat at the table for their meal, everything was high quality and befitting of a king! They waited though, knowing better than to eat before their elders.

When they appeared, their grandfathers smiled to them and stated. "This feast is for you, take what you desire, we already ate. This is yours."

They were stunned but didn't hesitate as they devoured plate upon plate of food. By the third one though, something didn't feel right.

Mosu was feeling light headed, the room began to spin around him. "I… I don't feel so good…" he said before falling face first into the table.

Boom!

The five grandchildren were out cold on the table.

The elders smiled as they approached them to ensure that they were not dead. "Just the right amount to knock them out…"

"Good, we can proceed then."

They turned to the far corner of the room. There, a councilman stood in wait. However he appeared no older than a twenty year old. But the stitching across his forehead was clear as day. "Well then, elders, let's get you into a new body… whose taking who?" he asked as he held up surgical thread and a needle…
