It's cold, and very quite, she hears nothing but the sounds of her own moaning and a small fire cracking. But she feels that she's laying on something rather soft, and she feels something like a blanket is covering her body. Marcy slowly begins to open her eyes, but can barely make out her surroundings as her vision is rather blurry. But it doesn't matter, as most of her surroundings are rather dark. She tries to sit up but her body feels very weak and sore, and she has the worst headache she's ever had. She begins to feel bandages all over her body, and even feels a few bruises and band-aids on her face. Though her surroundings are still rather fuzzy, her vision begins to get bit clearer as she is beginning to tell what she is laying on thanks to the small fire that's making it easier to see some of her surroundings. Marcy manages to sit up a little and realizes that she seems to be laying on something that looks like cotton or sheep wool, and the thing that's covering her is indeed a blanket that says "I Heart Newtopia". She wonders where she has seen that blanket before, but she quickly shrugs it off as she still wants to where she's at. So Marcy touches the floor with her hand to help decipher where she could possibly be at. The floor feels cold and rocky and since it seems so dark, she realizes that she is deep in a cave somewhere. It's not a familiar one to her, so how did she get there and why is she there?! She doesn't remember much of anything before waking up. Her body and head still aches too much for her to remember much of anything during the last few weeks. The last thing she's remembers is being restrained to a chair and being painfully possessed by King Andrias's Master "The Core" which causes Marcy to shudder away in fear. Everything else after that is all a blur to poor Marcy, but before she can remember anything else, she begins to fall asleep again due to physical and emotional stress, but not before see a silhouette of someone approaching her before closing her eyes again.

Sometime later, Marcy awakens again to the same sounds of her moaning and the same fire cracking. But this time, she feels someone gently touching her face with a soft wet rag. Something seems familiar about this person's small but gentle touch. She felt that same touch when she first came to Newtopia and broke her left leg and later when she was pulled out of her rejuvenation tank. She begins to recognize who this person is. She opens her eyes again and sees Lady Olivia with a worried facial expression while gently patting Marcy's forehead with a wet rag.

She moans again before she finally speaks. "Lady Olivia? Is... that... you?" Marcy spoke weakly but Olivia heard her voice. She perks up a little upon seeing Marcy finally awake. "Yes Marcy. It's me. Are you alright?" Marcy blinks twice before responding "I'm...okay, I think." She responds in a drowsy and weak tone, as she slowly sits up and begins to remembers where she's at. "Where am I? And how did I get here?" Marcy asked while looking at Lady Olivia with a tired and confused face. Lady Olivia realizes that Marcy doesn't know nor remembers anything that happened while she was possessed by The Core, so she gently places her hand on top of Marcy's hand as she explains everything that happened earlier that led to both of them being stranded in a cave as Marcy sits up further.

When Lady Olivia is done explaining to Marcy, she is completely in shock on what she was told. Why her body is so beaten up despite that her previous wounds have healed. And why they are both in a cave. Marcy was injured in a big fight that caused The Core's helmet to slip off her head. But the strain of being possessed along with her injuries caused Marcy to collapse. Prompting Olivia along with Yunan to hastily escape King Andrias's flying castle with Marcy before Andrias can capture her again. And while they did manage to escape, King Andrias sends thousands of Frog Robots in search of all three. So they had to hide out in a cave while Marcy recovers and to avoid being captured again. Yunan is currently standing guard incase if any Frog-Bots find them, while Olivia is inside tending to Marcy's wounds and has made a bed for her out of the wool of bugsheep.

Marcy is upset after hearing everything that has happened that she gets out of her bed and tries to leave but she doesn't get far due to fatigue. As she drops to her knees from exhaustion with a saddened look and a few tears in her eyes, blaming herself for this whole situation they now find themselves in. Lady Olivia approaches her and says "Marcy. I know that you never meant any harm. You may have made some dumb choices. But you were willing to try and improve Newtopia when you barely knew anyone there. You stood your ground and fought back against King Andrias even when your secret was exposed. You even did all that you could to make amends for your mistake, and you're even trying to do that now. While all I did was just hide and watch you get hurt. And even when I tried to save you but I have fail at that too. But that changes now. What matters to me is that you're safe and away from that horrible tyrant." "But what about your families oath? Your vow to protect this land?" Marcy asked in a low but worried tone. "We'll find a way to stop King Andrias. But right now I have a new promise to keep, and that's to protect you Master Marcy." Marcy facial expressions changes from sad and worried to a bit shocked and surprised upon hearing this as Lady Olivia continues her speech. "You have cared about this place every bit as much as I did and you were more than willing to protect it for me, while I've watched as King Andrias was willing to hurt and use you for his ends. I have failed you twice, and I am not about to let that happen again." Marcy is surprised and is moved to tears that someone has really cared about her enough to put their own agendas aside to help her. Marcy brings Olivia in for a hug to which she accept as the two lovely embrace each other.

Shortly after the two releases each other from their warm hug, Marcy begins to feel sleepy again as she's still exhausted from her ordeal. She manages to stand up again while Olivia grabs and holds Marcy by the waist and lower abdomen and helps Marcy walk back to her bed. As she lays down in her soft bed and drifts off to sleep, Lady Olivia covers her with the same blanket and promises to remain close for as long as she needs. And though Marcy is still recovering from her physical and emotional wounds, she does feel happy that she is important to somebody who doesn't simply view her as a pawn, or a vessel, or something that could be useful to them. She's important to someone who gives her hope, likes her for who she is, and makes her feel like family. And they'll do anything to help out each other in anyway that they can.

Well. That's the end of this story. I did this because my Amphibia brainrot has been thinking about Marcy and Olivia comfort the last couple of days, and with things getting stressful right now. I want to try and spread and share some of this comfort. Of course nothing too light-hearted or too angst so I left out who injured Marcy and the details of the fight on purpose. Didn't want to have too much hurt, and not enough comfort in this Amphibia fanfic. That's another story anyways. Besides, I wanted to focus on some Marcy and Olivia comfort for this story. I hope you've enjoyed reading my fanfiction and things get better soon.
