Victor sat alone in his apartment. He was working on a business project, but he had trouble concentrating. He knew why, he kept thinking about his family. His three daughters, Prue, Piper, Phoebe. He missed them. Victor blamed his ex mother in law, she had cast that spell to drive him away, somehow she feared that a mortal father would endanger these magickal girls. Still, Victor knew he might be able to reconcile with them now that they were older, but how could he explain it. How could he ask them to forgive him? Victor feared he was too much of a coward, and would never again see his children as a result. It was when Victor was at his lowest, that a demon approached him.
.
Jason: Hello Victor.
Victor: Who the hell are you? And how'd you get into my apartment?
Jason: I am a demon, planning to become the greatest power this or any other world has ever seen.
Victor: So you're a demon, and a politician.
Jason: That's a little insulting, for sort of yes.
Victor: What do you want from me?
Jason: Believe it or not, we have common interests right now.
Victor: How do you figure.
Jason: It's about your daughters.
Victor: You leave them alone.
Jason: I have no intention of going after them. Their grandmother is quite a powerful witch, and I have no desire to be vanquished. Your oldest child, Prudence, she's pregnant.
Victor: How? She's only 18.
Jason: I assume the old fashioned way. She and her boyfriend, a young man named Andy, they're planning to raise the child. When they eventually become the Charmed Ones, their daughter will be a target for evil. She'll probably kill quite a few demons, but eventually she will be killed.
Victor: And you're willing to stop that from happening?
Jason: Like I said, she'll kill a lot of demons, and I'd prefer to avoid that.
Victor: And I want to keep her safe. So what do you need from me?
Jason: Your mother in law performed a spell to force you to leave.
Victor: Yeah, but after a certain point it was my own cowardice that kept me away.
Jason: As this child's grandfather, you have the right to make a similar deal with me. After the baby is born, I can influence Prue and Andy, to put the child up for adoption. Then, I will alter everyone's memories. Noone, not even Prue or Andy, will ever know of her existence, nor will any demon know about her. You and I will be the only ones in the universe who know.
Victor: Why are you so keen to remember? Ofcourse, you want to bring her to the darkside of the Force.
Jason: Ofcourse, she could be a powerful ally in my quest to conquer the universe.
Victor: That's not exactly what I want for my grandchild.
Jason: But you can't stop it either. She'll still have free will, the right to make her own choices.
Victor: And if she doesn't choose evil, you'll kill her.
Jason: For someone who hates magick so much, you're fairly knoweledgable about it.
Victor: Working with lawyers so much, you learn to read the fine print.
Jason: Fair point, you'd be surprised how much overlap there is between lawyers and demons.
Victor: I doubt it.
Jason: At any rate, how about this. I will be physically unable to harm her. Any demon, or corrupt mortal, who works for me will be unable to harm her.
Victor: You can really do that?
Jason: It'll take a lot out of me, but yes.
Victor: Good, and you don't try to corrupt her.
Jason: I supposse I can let her have a normal childhood, make sure she finds a loving adoptive family, but I will come for her. If I can't turn her to the darkside...
Victor: Then that's your tough luck. I want her to be able to defend herself from you however. And you don't approach her until at least her 21st birthday.
Jason: 16.
Victor: 18.
Jason: I don't approach her until she's 16, don;t try to corrupt her until she's 18.
Victor: Agreed.
