Bio

THE GHOST OF TSUSHIMA

All Jin Sakai had ever known was the Way of the Samurai. When the Mongols invaded his home island of Tsushima he was forced to contend with the fact that he may have to throw everything he once knew to be true to the wayside. The Mongols decimated the Samurai and took control of the island with ease. Realizing that the only way to save the island would be to employ unorthodox means, Jin became well versed in stealthy underhanded tactics. But it worked. To the locals, he was the Ghost. He could kill the Mongols before they even knew he was there without effort. But his new reputation would have its downsides. The Shogun would see him as a threat to his power and brand him a traitor. Jin still lives in the straits, but on the run. He is not an easy man to track down though. With his experience in both Samurai combat and stealth tactics, he is a warrior so fierce he can terrify men into surrender before the battle has even started.

Intro

The seas were particularly rough today. Jin's small boat was barely up to the task of staying afloat. But he had to keep going. He was out too far to turn back. Wherever he was going now, that was up for the storm to decide. He only hoped it was somewhere not so hostile. As more waves crashed against him, he was beginning to hope it was anywhere at all. Word seemed to travel fast. All of Japan must have known about the Ghost by now. But soon he had no time to worry about that. Fog clouded his vision. The storm was beginning to calm down. "There is something...strange about this." He muttered to himself, seeing the shore coming into view, barely visible in the fog. His boat gently came to a rest just before the shoreline, as though it were meant to be. Cautiously, Jin stepped off his boat and looked ahead. With his assortment of weapons only a second away from being in his hands. he set off to see what this place had in store for him.

Rival Scene

Jin had been successful so far in fending off his opponents. It had been a great test of skill, but nothing which he was not equal to. As he was walking across the crystal arena he saw a man who was inspecting a futuristic weapon of his. He was covered head to toe, not showing an inch of skin as well as having glowing yellow eyes...was it a demon? Best not to take any chances. Approaching slowly, Jin unsheathed his katana and closed in to take out this guy. He was close enough to strike before long and he did so, jumping towards his victim. But his katana hid the solid ground and the demon disappeared. Jin quickly got up and turned around just in time as the demon reappeared behind him pointing his gun at him. "Tell me who you are, and why I should let you walk away?" Radec demanded. "You are more perceptive than you first appeared." Jin admitted. "You most certainly surprised me."

"Being the leader of Helghan's army has made me ready for anything. Which is more than I can say for you." He replied. "With sorcery like that, it should come easily to you. Do not assume I am lacking in combat." Jin hit back. "Well, if you believe that to be the case, why don't we put that theory to the test?" Radec suggested as both soldiers prepared to do battle.

Outro

Back on the water, Jin was in no worse shape than he set out in. The sea was a lot more calm than when he initially set out, which only served to strengthen the theory he had that he was predestined to land at that place. "Was it fate?" He pondered. "That place was unlike any I've ever seen. Something tells me that if I attempted to find it again, I would fail. But I am grateful for the chance to have fought such opponents. My skills are better for it." It wasn't long before he landed on a Japanese island. He was relieved to be somewhere familiar, even if it meant that the Shogunate would be out in force to hunt him down. "Skills which I will use to protect those who cannot protect themselves and train the willing." As he walked towards a nearby village, he began to emanate a blue aura. "To do what is necessary to protect my home...even if it comes at my own expense...that is true honour!"

Author's Note

When I stop being so stingy I'll buy Ghost of Tsushima. I had to be fuckin' idiot and blow my money on TLOU II instead at that time. I will say Jin doesn't have a lot of quotes, I considered stealing a few of Takeo's quotes from COD zombies but held off. Also I'm undecided as to whether Jin should speak Japanese or English. True it makes sense for him to speak Japanese but unlike Heihachi he is dubbed.
