"Justin, you've got to do something. Max released all these screaming banshees and Mason used my training wand to make Alex fall in love with him." Oh, so that's why Alex was acting so weird earlier. Her heart was open. Justin still thought it was weird how she was acting relatively normal despite being under a spell anyways. Whatever the reason, now he knows how to fix the problem.

"Say no more, Harper. I'm on it. Fanshee, schmansee, get rid of the banshee." He took the training wand and flicked the tip. Instantly, all of Harper's spells came undone.

"How'd you do that?" Harper asks him as he hands the wand back to her.

"Child safety lock. Now everything's back to normal." He explains.

Alex makes her entrance after everyone in the room cleared out, mostly from the banshees since they started terrorizing the partygoers for a short while.

"Ugh, what happened?" Alex asks as she walks into the room, her clothes and hair slightly disheveled. Justin's eyes widened. He did not want to be on the other end of that conversation.

"Mason used my wand on your heart."

"And I stepped in and fixed everything," He paused for a moment, feeling a bit hesitant to continue. "I realize now why I felt so weird about you being gone. It's because cleaning up other people's messes and then being able to silently judge them afterwards is what makes my life complete."

"...Did you just say I make your life complete?" A smirk creeps onto Alex's face, irking Justin now that she was back to her old, mischievous self.

"No." He commented monotonously, regretting his choice of words, no matter how honest they might be.

"Oh my gosh, you miss me!" Justin wanted no part of this conversation any longer. Things were awkward enough for him since he just locked lips with his sister in the bathroom a little less than ten minutes ago. It was still a bit too soon to banter with her like everything was normal.

"No, I don't miss you. Now take your magazine. It's the only reason I came here. Bye." Justin was lying through his teeth but thank Crumbs Alex didn't notice because her heart was more than closed enough to not give a fuck.

"I miss you too!"

Later that night, Justin couldn't fall asleep. His mind kept replaying the moment over and over again to the point where he couldn't get the image of Alex's body sprawled out of him out of his head. She looked like she wanted him so bad, with how quick she was to drag him in with her legs and press up against him like a vixen. Justin knew that girl would be the death of him someday, but for reasons much more different from what they were now.

Now, they've kissed. In another universe somewhere, that kiss never happened. Justin would have pushed her off and told her it was wrong. He would have done everything he could to ensure they never ended up in a position like that in the first place. He knew Mason didn't mean for Alex to fall for Justin but she did.

What Justin doesn't understand is how the hell did the spell even work if they're siblings?

These kinds of spells should have no effect on family members, right? Justin decided to test his hypothesis by taking it to the books, in his family lair. There, in the middle of the night, he found his answer.

Human Behavior and the Psychology During Love Spells

So what happens if two siblings take one half of a love potion? They fall in love, of course. Relation is no grounds for magic to not take effect. Besides potions, there is also a classic spell from a wand. It's possible for family members to experience effects from that as well. For the Human species, all spells affect them the same. Especially if they're meant for multiple people.

Justin slammed the book at once, tired of reading on for once in his life. He wanted to just forget about that stupid kiss that happened when Alex was under a spell and he was…he...he doesn't have a good enough excuse.

Justin doesn't have a valid reason as to why he kissed Alex back with as much intensity as she did. He acted completely of his own volition, which means that he's the one that's responsible for the kiss.

Why didn't he stop her?

Alex on the other hand, was completely fuzzy about everything that happened. She remembers bits and pieces from the day but apart from that, nothing. She remembers the dark-haired stranger she made out with in the bathroom, and she remembers being angry at Mason. She also remembers feeling a weight being lifted off her chest but she doesn't know what exactly was said.

She rested easy, falling asleep shortly after thinking for a bit and forgetting about anything on her mind for the rest of the night.

A tangle of two bodies. One much larger in size, covering her petite frame. Alex was seeing the scene in third person. It was strange seeing herself from a different point of view but still dream logic nonetheless.

She was speaking in a hushed tone, her face flushed. She saw how her eyes twinkled as she wrapped her arms around the stranger's, as if he was familiar to her.

The kiss was swift and sloppy. It was much more romantic at the time but seeing it now in her sober state–it looked horrible. Yet this version of her enjoyed it far too much. She giggled, biting her tongue as she gazed up at the man in front of her, who pulled her in for another, this time, swoon-worthy kiss.

In her mind's eye, Alex watched as they swapped spit, the two hungrily lusting for each other as she saw the man's buttocks squeezing together while the Alex on the bathroom counter had her legs wrapped securely around his waist.

"We should head back to the party." Alex thought to herself, "Man, What a buzzkill." But the guy did have a nice demeanor about him. He looked like the type of guy she'd make out with if she wasn't dating Mason or Dean.

"Or, we could stay here and make out." At least she was bold enough to suggest it first. A scream interrupted the moment as they both turned to the door. Then the guy backed away, slowly pushing her off of him. What was wrong with him? Why would he reject a fine piece of ass like Alex?

"That's wrong on so many levels. We should probably go check the screams, it's probably something important." After not seeing his face this entire time, just as she was about to question why he phrased it like that, her heart fell to her chest as he turned around to face the door, which was where her third person was positioned.

The faceless dark-haired man she had made out with was Justin.

Alex woke up in a frenzy. That dream disgusted her. She couldn't accept that's what happened. Justin would have told her off. He wouldn't have just gone along with it unless…he actually wanted it too.

Alex pushed the thoughts out of her mind. She quickly got out of bed and joined Harper in the kitchen to eat something.

"Morning sleepyhead. We're officially moved into our own apartment!"

"Harper, my head is pounding. Do we have any aspirin?" She asked, hoping her best friend wouldn't pry.

"Yep! Here you go. Do you remember most of everything yesterday? You know, with Mason?" Alex nodded, as Harper seemed to prod for info poorly. She had to do a better job with her scheming.

"We're just friends. Although he did screw up yesterday. Luckily Justin was here to fish us out of trouble." Harper smirked at the statement.

"You could say that again. Hey, here's an idea, why don't we let Justin move in with us too? That way he could always fix our magic-related disasters and we wouldn't have to take the extra step with calling him over." Alex rolled her eyes. She knew Harper still harbored some obsessive feelings for her brother but she still adored Zeke first and foremost.

"Ugh, please. One of the reasons why I was happy we could move out was so that I could get away from him. Sometimes I need space from my family too, you know? It's hard being the savior of the Wizard World and not being compared to your siblings at the same time after that." Harper let it go. Alex was clearly working through some issues here.

After going through a little adventure, and Alex got trapped in the Bermuda Triangle, she was relieved to see Mason again but she had to make it clear that she didn't want to date him again.

Things got easier with Justin since they never talked about their kiss and continued like normal. Until they were trapped together in her apartment, which was disappearing due to a black hole in the floor.

"I think now is a good time to tell you that I'm not mad at you!" She screamed to him.

"Why do you think I'm mad?!" He yelled back.

"Because we've been weird for a while now! I'm sorry for making things awkward but I was under a spell!" She explained, just wanting to have her big brother back.

"Enough's enough. If we're dying here today, I'm glad I'll be dying with you," They stared at each other for a couple of seconds, taking in every last feature before a rope appeared. "I'm gonna have some of that toast now."

"Someone call for a rescue?" It was Max, here to save them.

As Gorog carried out his evil plan, the Russos arrived to the scene to put an end to his terrorizing.

"Hello, Justin."

"Juliet! Is..is that really you?" Alex felt a pinch in her heart as Justin was reunited with his love.
