"Harper, I haven't been able to sleep at all for the past few nights."

"I know, I've heard you watching Fashion Trash reruns from the basement every night." Alex was glad she had a friend as good as Harper around, although she hadn't made it aware to her yet of her and her "brother's" status. Harper was the one who should've gotten to know first.

It was because of his own reluctance since Harper would tell Zeke first that he told her to keep it a secret. Even though they aren't related, it is a strange thing to wrap one's head around. After all, they did fall for each other while thinking they were full-blooded siblings. It's sick and twisted but they can't change the past.

"Finding out that my big brother isn't really my brother is a shock enough, but deals with the Devil? The fact that this power might be….demonic? Harper, I'm terrified."

"And you have every right to be."

"I'm back from work, girls. As you remember, I'm the Headmaster at Wiztech and I have been working hard at ensuring all my students pass with flying colors, figuratively of course." Justin's entrance elicited an abrupt silence from the girls.

"We're well aware, Professor Russo." Harper says in a teasing tone.

"Why didn't you tell me that you were immune to the portal's magic?" Alex stood up, fists clenched.

"I didn't know. Alex, how many times do I have to tell you?"

"You did, though. I can't prove it but I know there was something else there, inside of you. You have a hidden darkness." Harper's eyes rolled to one side as she swiftly evaded the pair.

"I'm just gonna catch up on some crafting."

She descended down the stairs to the basement. After her footsteps disappeared, Justin held Alex in his arms, tightly. They were more relaxed now, and Alex sighed into his shoulder.

"I'm not leaving anything out. I truly don't have any clue on why I didn't get dragged down to hell. I didn't know the guy who donated his sperm was a complete psycho that practices Satanism." He explained.

"I believe you. I just get so worried sometimes." Alex sighed again.

"Well cheer up because I got us tickets to see a movie this weekend. Just us, alone, in the big wide world."

"That sounds nice."

They shared a brief kiss before parting ways and going back to doing what they were before being interrupted.

A strange hologram flickered in the living room and all the power went out for a minute. The blue projection was the only thing providing light in the house right now.

"Alex Russo, you are being summoned by the Wizard Council at once. Come to the Red Wood Room in the Hall of Offices located in the Wizard World. Do not tell anyone about this." Alex was a bit alarmed at the message, but she wanted to see what it was about first before she jumped to any conclusions. Her head was a bad place.

The projection of the Councilman disappeared and the lights returned to normal. Alex was more concerned than frightened. She anxiously made her way to the location to come face to face with the most powerful Wizards in the Wizard World.

"Alex Russo, we have called you here to inform you that Professor Crumbs has passed away. Because he was the presiding Executive of Wizard World Recreational Activities Board, we thought you would make a fitting candidate for the next Executive." Wow, that was a lot of information.

"Hold on, I need to process this. You mean to tell me that Professor Crumbs just passed away and your biggest concern is finding his replacement?" Alex felt more angry than she ever had in her entire life.

"Sorry, but the decision is not up to us. The Professor had no known pupils that he had taken under his wing to follow in his footsteps. The only Wizards that we are aware of are the recurring saviors of the Wizard World. Alex, Justin, and Max. However, with Justin currently being the Headmaster of Wiztech, we are missing an Executive Chair. We want you to take it Alex, simply because Justin is not fit for the task of doubling roles, oh no, not like Crumbs could." Alex pondered for a moment.

It wasn't like they just handed the role to just anyone. If they did, it could be total anarchy. But they think Alex is the next best choice? If she were the same immature girl she once was, she would accept it just to rub it in Justin's face.

But she wasn't, and they weren't just siblings anymore. She loved him, and she knew he had to feel the same way, even without them saying it. With all the disasters that followed them around during their training days, nothing compared to when her family was kidnapped by her clone.

If she had any sort of power then she could've helped them much sooner. And now she has the chance.

"Fine. I'll do it."

"We thank you for your cooperation Miss Russo." Alex was immediately lowered down, standing on single platform as she reached someplace underground.

"This is Robert, your assistant. Things are a little bit different since you're taking over. He'll help you adjust and when you're done, you can let go of him." A councilwoman explains to her.

"Our first order of business: setting up a treaty with the Ruler of the Underworld and the Wizard World."

"How is that a recreational activity?"

"Oh, it isn't. That's your cover. You're the Chief Executive of Wizard World Affairs. You are in charge of anything that goes wrong, and as an added bonus, you get paid for it." He explains.

She was led into a fancy room where they took her measurements and took her away to change. Alex was dressed in robes and she looked more intellectual as they gave her a new pair of shoes to match.

She was promptly taken into makeup and then they took pictures of her afterwards, saying it was for profiling her. After that, she met with Robert, who took her to another room to meet with the Ruler of The Underworld's President of Wizard-Hell Relations for the treaty.

Robert left her alone as she was left in the room alone, a library that was red in color with a fireplace in the middle.

"Are you…?"

"Nice to meet you. I'm Justin." When he turned around, Alex's jaw dropped.

"Justin…? What are you doing here?" She asked.

"I'm not who you think I am. I've been watching you for a while now, Alex. I'm actually the half of Justin that possesses all of the powers the devil gave me when he chose me. A long time ago. Particularly 20 years ago. To balance out the evil, there was another me. A boy with powers of light. Your Justin." Alex felt her heart pounding in her chest.

"This is crazy…" The six on his head was proof enough that what he was saying was the truth.

"Let's get down to business. Satan Dearest wants an official treaty with your magic world. So now Devil worshippers can request powers."

"That's idiotic. Why would I allow that?"

"Because unless you want the dark lord himself to unleash his wrath on you, you will do as I say. I know of your deeds, Alex. You're a positively good girl, aren't you?"

Alex hated that she was attracted to this man. He was wearing the face of the man she truly loved but apart from that, he was nothing like her sweet, gentle lover.

"I'll sign the stupid treaty, only because it's my job." She signed the treaty, and Dark Justin waved his hand to imprint his signature.

"It is done," Justin stood up. "Bye bye, bitch." He disappeared in a fury of flames.

"That wasn't too bad, was it? How about we continue on, let's go meet your 4:00, your brother! You have to discuss the affairs of the school and how he is shaping young minds."

Alex was already exhausted by the time she reached the Wizard Tea Shop, and Justin was equally as surprised to see her.

Alex felt guilty that she was the first to find out about Crumbs' death, but she had the chance to tell Justin. So, she took it.

"Before you say anything, you know that Crumbs is—"

"Dead? I know. I personally think it's a setup but I know there has been some trouble with the Underworld recently. I have a few ghosts complaining to us about prejudicing their kids on the basis that they are dead and can't go to school with living wizards." Justin says.

"That's crazy! I just met Satan's right hand man. He's a dark version of you. Satan is legalizing powers his followers gain as part of the Wizard World."

"We have to get out of here. We can't discuss this here." Justin grabs her arm.

A sudden burst of energy sends them flying. Justin and Alex whip their wands out, ready to fight.

"I knew you'd break the treaty immediately, little bird. You're a talker, aren't ya?" His evil clone was glowing red as he glared at Alex.

"I broke it?" Alex was confused, she didn't remember anything about the treaty being broken.

"You did. Look here, line 7, it says the co-signers cannot discuss elements of the treaty outside of office. You are done for." He burned the paper before unleashing his attack on the screaming citizens running out of the shop.

"Not if I can help it." Justin stands up, using his powers to push him back. His clone fought back, both evenly matched in strength.

The match ended on a good note, with the true Justin standing above his evil doppelgänger, looking down on him with disgust. He looked exactly like him.

Thank goodness Justin wasn't the one who died.
