Bio

THE MASTER THIEF

Sly belongs to a long line of master thieves who specialize in robbing criminals. As a child he witnessed the murder of his father at the hands of the Fiendish Five, who made off with the family heirloom, the Thievius Raccoonus. Sly was then placed in an orphanage, where he would meet his two best friends and future partners in crime, Bentley and Murray. The Cooper Gang have since taken on missions across the world and across time. Despite Sly's status as a wanted criminal by Interpol, he remains good at heart and sees himself as a modern day Robin Hood. As the member of the Cooper gang who does most of the tricky work, Sly is incredibly nimble and agile. He relys on deception and surprise to great effect also.

Intro

"Sly! Sly! You're not gonna believe this!" Sly snapped out of his daydream as Bentley came up to him, showing him something on his computer. "What is it? Carmelita dropped charges against us?" Bentley pointed to the screen. "I've just gotten a tip about a crime lord. The location of his fortune just leaked! Sly, this is pretty big!" Sly sat up. "I'll say it is. What else can you tell me?" He asked. "Well, it's not good Sly. I have directions and all but we've never been anywhere like this place before. The other thing is that well, this has attracted a lot of attention. We're not going to be the only ones looking for this fortune." Sly nodded in understanding, grabbing his cane and fixing his cap. "They'll just have to watch the best do his work. Have Murray put a new air freshener in the van. We'll take that fortune, and take out whoever thinks they're better than us."

Rival Scene

Sly used his binocucom to scan the arena from up high, making use of his parachute so he didn't have to land before he was ready. He could spy one man, who had concealed his entire face, save for his eyes. "Looks like it's your unlucky day, pal." Sly said to himself before dropping down. He dropped behind the masked man, but decided to have a little fun with him before he dispatched him. "Looking for something?" Aiden was a little startled by the talking raccoon, but remained fairly calm considering the weirdness of it. "Just out here for a job." He replied. "I see. Funny thing is, so am I." Aiden already had his baton in his hand. "Well that's too bad. You and I both know only one of us can take this bounty." Sly laughed. "Believe me, I know. This isn't my first job, y'know? I've been doing this since I was a kid." Aiden extended his baton and got into a fighting stance. "Well that makes two of us then." He retorted as Sly readied his cane, preparing to teach this guy a lesson.

Outro

"What a score!" Sly was in a celebratory mood, as were the rest of the Cooper gang following their latest success. "What a lunatic risk!" Bentley cheered. "Do you have any idea how many times we almost bought it out there?" Sly already had his response ready. I know how many times we didn't!" He answered. "What a team! You guys were dynamite." Murray agreed. "It's true! Our awesomeness did explode like dynamite in their fat faces!" The loot wasn't the only thing they had picked up though, as impressive as it was. "Looks like you picked up a few moves out there as well." Bentley noted. "I guess I did. But maybe I had them in me all along, y'know?" Bentley returned to his computer. "Anyway, I'm getting word that there's a new bounty available in Istanbul. What do you guys think?" The answer was a resounding yes. "Istanbul?" Murray stepped on the gas as the Cooper Van began to glow blue. "I can get us there by midnight with this new speed! Buckle up, broncos! The van's running hot tonight!"

Author's Note

I have a love/hate relationship with this series. I had a friend who's favourite series was Sly and one day we were all playing PSAS and he just dominated as Sly. It was literally impossible to beat him. So it was unbelievably frustrating but it was still a great night, we must have played for like 12 hours. Sly seems to be dormant, but with his history his place in the roster is well secured. I considered changing up some of his attacks to give him some of his Thieves in Time attacks but tbf his current moveset reflects his character and series gameplay pretty well, so just the one change.
