After Shane left, Andy turned back to Chucky and said, "Well...except maybe that guy!"
Chucky smiled at his "big brother".
Andy scooted closer to him. "Hey listen! I've got an idea!" Andy grabbed his "little brother" and carried him outside the apartment.
Outside the apartment, the best friends were by a stairwell.
Andy sat on the stairs while Chucky stood in front of him, facing him.
"Ok look! If we're gonna do this, I need you to look as creepy, as scary and as mean as possible! Alright! So open your eyes as wide as you can like this." Andy placed both hands on his eyelids and pressed them wide open.
Chucky attempted to open his eyes wide but didn't quite go as well.
"No. You still look kind of cute. Open your mouth as wide as you can and try to snarl." Andy made a snarling noise.
Chucky attempted what he was instructed to do.
But Andy still wasn't satisfied. So he said, "But kind of smile."
Chucky made the perfect face.
"Perfect! That's perfect! Ok, make that face next time you see Shane!" he told his "little brother".
After Chucky's quick crash course with Andy, two older kids (a boy and a girl) walked side by side toward them with a dog.
When the dog spotted them, it barked at them.
"Whoa!...whoa!...easy boy! easy!" said the boy gently pulling on the dog's leash. "Sorry man." He looked at Andy.
"It's ok. " said Andy sounding understanding.
The dog barked again causing Andy's hearing aid to ring. "Ahh!" He pulled it out of his ear and put it in his jacket pocket.
Hearing the ring, the boy made a loud comment. "Damn! That thing is loud!"
"Damn! That thing is loud!" Chucky mimicked.
The boy looked at Chucky with total shock. "Did that thing just mimic me? I didn't know it could say things like that!"
"That thing just said a bad word! It isn't supposed to be able to do that!" said the girl staring at Chucky.
Feeling a little awkward about it, Andy looked at the two and said, "Uh yeah he...he doesn't really follow the rules."
"He doesn't follow the rules? Like he has a choice?" said the girl feeling confused.
"Yeah sort of I guess." Andy shrugged his shoulders.
"Wait! So let me get this straight! He can just do or say whatever? You can make him do or say whatever you want?" asked the boy.
"Yep, pretty much!" Andy smiled.
"Man, that's awesome! So what's his name?" he asked.
"Chucky." Andy responded.
"Ok! Ok!" The boy turned to Chucky and said, "Hey Chucky! Say 'dick cheese'!"
"Dick cheese!" Chucky obeyed his command.
"Whoa! This is gonna be fun!" the boy exclaimed looking at his friend.
The girl looked at Andy and asked, "So what's your name?"
"Oh! I'm Andy!" he smiled.
"His name is Andy What up!" Chucky felt the need to stand up for his best friend.
"Falyn." the girl then turned to the boy for him to introduce himself.
"Pugg." said the boy with a quick wave.
Falyn turned back to Andy. "So why are you in the hall? Are you in trouble?"
"No. I'm just teaching him how to scare my mom's boyfriend." Andy put his head down in shame. "But that's probably a bad idea."
"A bad idea? Are you kidding? Scaring your mom's boyfriend would be perfect! We can make him do whatever we want, remember!" said Pugg.
Andy looked up at Pugg and nodded. "Yeah."
