Nearly two years ago I created the stories, "Annabeth's Wisdom Removal," and "Percy's Wisdom Teeth." Both stories were written to depict how I imagined the two demigods would react to having their wisdom teeth extracted. It was a good idea at the time, but I wrote it poorly. In my defense, I was younger and lacked the vocabulary and knowledge of romantic relationships that I now have. I've decided to retell those stories in greater detail and with better grammar.

Annabeth and Percy were both fifteen years old in my previous version, and they had just completed their quest in the labyrinth. This story will be similar but much different. Both characters will be older in this version of the story, leading to increased cussing vocabulary and more romantic touching and feelings. They will both be seventeen, and because there is no timeline in this story, we will assume it takes place after the second titan war.

As a general warning, this story contains smut, strong language, drug use, and other triggering topics that may be inappropriate for some readers. I'm warning you now not to read this story if you're too young.

Let me know what you thought of the first chapter, and if you have any suggestions, please elaborate in the comments; I'd love to hear your thoughts.

CHAPTER ONE: ANNABETH

Percy Jackson had a typical Saturday morning. He was sitting on the couch, eating a bag of chips, with a blanket hazily draped across his stomach and the television blaring in the background. He was watching a TV show about sea creatures that seemed very educational; Annabeth would be proud of him. One of Percy's favorite abilities is his ability to communicate with sea creatures, and it appears that he can understand their language even through a television screen.

"This show may be written in PG-13, but the fish's language isn't," Percy muttered to himself and the air. He chuckled as he shoved another chip into his mouth. "Martha has no filter. Especially when it comes to sex and her affair." He kept talking to himself as if there was someone else in the room with him, but there wasn't. He was at home alone at the time. Sally was at the grocery store, while Paul was at a school meeting.

Speaking of Sally and Paul, Percy grinned widely as he thought about the baby sister his mother was going to be giving birth to in just several months. He's overjoyed, not only for his parents but also for himself. He has never known or had siblings, both at camp and at home. It would be nice to have someone else in his small family, particularly a younger sister.

He was also terrified, very terrified. What if a monster detects his scent and follows him home? Percy is powerful enough to defeat any foe, but what if the monster reaches his sister before he does? Would being around her endanger his entire family? Sally had assured her son that they would be fine, even though monsters could attack. She insists that she will not let Percy's fear of monsters prevent him from becoming a brother.

"Percy," grunted Sally Jackson as she pushed the front door open with her knee. She was struggling to catch her breath while carrying five grocery bags. Because the elevators were closed for repairs, she had to take the stairs, which is difficult carrying groceries up and even more difficult when your seven months pregnant. "Could you please take these from me and store them? I really need to use the restroom."

Percy jumped off the couch and grabbed his mother's heavy bags, allowing her to dash to the bathroom. He went into the kitchen and set each bag on the counter, bracing himself for 10 minutes of boredom and torture. Putting food away was one of his least favorite chores.

Sally reappeared three minutes later, smiling at her son as she walked to the kitchen to wash her hands. She couldn't help but notice her son carefully placing an egg carton into the fridge. He was growing into such a good man, and she couldn't be happier.

"How do you feel?" Percy inquired, looking down at his mother's plump stomach. Sally's hands went to her stomach as she softly smiled, thinking about her daughter.

"Well, let's see. Right now, I'm not puking or peeing, so life is pretty good." Percy smiled before chuckling as she said it with a hint of sarcasm. He returned his attention to his task while Sally made herself a sandwich.

Sally has important news to share with her son, but she's not sure how he'll react. Will he be happy or sad? Sally isn't sure how their big fight happened, but she feels bad for both of them. Annabeth Chase and her son haven't been on the best of terms since Percy declared Rachel his new best friend. Both of them are obviously deeply in love with each other and have been for years. Percy is too oblivious to make the first move, and Annabeth is too afraid of commitment and rejection to make the first move.

Sally isn't blind, she watches the two teenagers like a hawk, just waiting for one of them to slip up and kiss the other. Sally is aware that she should not be encouraging such behavior, but in her defense, she has grown tired of her son becoming upset over the girl he loves. Percy doesn't seem to understand Annabeth's jealousy of Rachel. Sally adores Rachel, as do Percy's other friends, but Annabeth will always be her favorite.

"Have you recently spoken with Annabeth?" Sally inquired, her voice innocent and uninterested. She was curious to see how her son would react.

Percy's face flushed slightly as he carelessly shrugged. After hearing the name Annabeth Chase, he tried hard not to show emotion, but Sally noticed how his cheeks lit up and his eyes became more alert. "No, not really. Annabeth hasn't tried to talk to me since our big fight two months ago," he shrugged again as he put away the milk carton. His tone suggested that he was both hurt and saddened by Annabeth's sudden disappearance from his life.

Sally nodded her head in acknowledgement and began to munch on her sandwich. "Do you miss her?"

Percy quickly lifted his head to make eye contact with his mother. He rolled his eyes and gave her the stink eye. As his feet shuffled, his gaze returned to the floor. "No," he said falsely. Both of them knew he was lying.

"Percy," Sally sighed and smiled weakly at her son. "I have some news about Annabeth that I found out last week and I should have told you sooner and I'm very sorry I didn't."

Percy looked at her nervously, and his hands began to tremble from nervousness. "Is Annabeth all right?" With wild eyes, he inquired. Maybe Sally shouldn't have made it seem like Annabeth was dying. Her son's expression reminded her of the expression he gave her after he returned from the war. He was terrified.

"Shes okay, don't worry. Annabeth has to have her wisdom teeth removed this week." She shot her son a confused look as he began to chuckle.

"Wisdom's daughter getting her wisdom teeth out," Percy continued to laugh at his ironic joke. Sally swears his laugh is contagious as she joins in. She hasn't seen or heard him laugh so joyfully in a long time. After a minute, he stopped laughing and gave his mother a puzzled look. "Wait, what does Annabeth's wisdom teeth have to do with the news you wanted to tell me?"

"Fredrick is extremely worried that Annabeth will be attacked while she is vulnerable and defenseless due to anesthesia; she will only be staying at our apartment for two nights before flying home."

Percys jaw dropped after his mother told him about Annabeth's impending stay. "Mom," he whined as he shook his head. "No way, Annabeth hates me remember?"

Sally was amused by her son's reaction. "Annabeth is aware that she will be staying here, Percy. If she truly despised you, I believe she would have canceled by now, especially since she is supposed to arrive in two days." She noticed his expression change from confused and fearful to nervous and agitated in just a matter of seconds.

"Can't she just stay here when she's high or whatever and then leave when she's able to think clearly?" He asked in a defensive tone. Annabeth must have really hurt Percy's feelings for him to suggest something like this. As Sally gave him the death stare, he shook his head. "Not that I don't want her to come here; I just don't want anything to be awkward."

Sally sighed and swallowed her sandwich. She wiped her brow and watched Percy put away the last of the food. He appears to be more sad than angry about the news, which means there is still hope for Annabeth and Percy.

"When is she coming anyways?"

"She'll be here tomorrow night; Monday she has an appointment at Franklin Hospital for her wisdom teeth," she said, starting to wash the dirty dishes in the sink.

Percy nodded and exited the kitchen, most likely to clean his room. Sally overhears Annabeth making fun of Percy's messy room every time she comes over. Maybe this time he'll do something about his messy room this time.

Percy opened his door and groaned. His room was extremely disorganized. He had no motivation to clean his room, but he'd rather have a clean room than have Annabeth clean it again. She discovered several things about Percy that he specifically did not want her to know the last time she cleaned his room. She not only went through his sock and underwear drawer, but she also went under his bed and discovered items he had no idea existed.

Percy started by making his bed. He ripped off the several dirty shirts he'd left on the bed and tucked his laptop beneath his mattress. He also ensured that the password was changed. He didn't need Annabeth looking through his laptop. Annabeth is the nosiest friend Percy has ever had, and while he normally despises nosey people, being nosey just fits Annabeth's personality.

Percy begins to pick up every piece of clothing on his floor and throw it into his closet once his bed is made. His clothes had overflowed the inside of his closet, but he didn't care. His room is already looking cleaner.

While Percy effortlessly cleans his room, his mind can't stop thinking about Annabeth. They'd been in the worst fight they'd ever been in two months ago and hadn't spoken since. Percy regrets some things he said, but he really didn't mean to call Annabeth controlling, jealous, selfish, and annoying. It was all in the heat of the moment, and he didn't mean it when he told her Rachel was his best friend. Percy recalls how her defense immediately collapsed. He'd never seen her look so defeated before.

He despises how jealous and annoying Annabeth becomes whenever Rachel is mentioned or present; it's as if she changes into someone else. Rachel has the same reaction every time he mentions Annabeth, but she's better at hiding it. It's as if both of the girls have some sort of secret with each other that is driving them apart. Hopefully someday he will understand.

"Are you still thinking about your blonde girlfriend?" Percy heard the fish's voice speak. His beta fish swam happily around in his tank, he turned around and smiled, but his face turned a little red at the fish's implications. Percy got his beta fish, Jeffery, when he was with Rachel last month. He had begged Percy to save him from the filthy cup of water that the pet store had dumped on him. Percy couldn't help himself and took him home. Since then, the fish has done nothing but tease Percy about Annabeth, eat food, and complain about everything. For some reason Jeffery reminds him of Clarisse, except in fish form.

Percy rolled his eyes and motioned with his finger at the fish to stop. "Be quiet," he grumbled, collapsing on his bed. His room is finally somewhat clean, which hopefully will satisfy Annabeth.

We both know you're in love with your blonde girlfriend, stop being a pussy and just kiss her already," the fish spoke with attitude and crude language, which was normal for the nasty beta fish. Percy doesn't mind when his fish uses vulgar language; in fact, if he's being honest, he probably has a larger vocabulary of curse words than his fish does.

After arguing with his fish, a little longer, Percy found himself in bed watching the television. It was already late, and he was beyond tired. That night he fell asleep thinking about Annabeth Chase, not Rachel.

Sorry, but this chapter does not yet introduce Annabeth. I want to expand on this story and include more detail, such as the characters' thoughts and feelings. I can guarantee that Annabeth and Percy will be in an interesting situation in the next chapter. This story will undoubtedly end with Percy and Annabeth getting together, but I can't decide whether I want that to happen before or after Annabeth has her wisdom teeth extracted. Please let me know what you think. I hope you enjoyed the first chapter; the second chapter will be available soon.

Are there any characters you would to make an appearance? Although this is a story about Annabeth and Percy, I'd still like to add minor characters to add more plot.

How long would you guys like the chapters to be? This chapter has around 2,400 words in it. Would you like the chapters to be longer or shorter?
