Mark Ambrose had been resigned to a new life in England 40 years in the past, he had accepted it completely and adapted to his new family, his mom and dad had always understood that he was different, scarily intelligent and mature beyond his years.

They had been shocked when a seemingly mythical creature appeared and 'bonded' with Mark. They had even accepted it when the bond with the Jackalope aptly named Jack augmented his already impressive for his age physique into superhuman levels.

They had paid in full for whatever he wanted, be that martial arts classes or gymnastics. When he began seeing glimpse of the future and past, they had accepted it with a sigh and a loving smile as yet another peculiarity of their son.

They had allowed him to experiment with his 'powers' and helped him nourish their growing fortunes thanks to their son's various glimpses and ideas. They got a comfortable house and life for a family of three and everything was relatively peaceful until his 11th birthday.

"Mark! There's a letter for you, its addressed directly to your room!" That shout from his mother had given Mark a foreboding feeling "Coming!" He ran down the stairs and stopped in the kitchen. There lay a letter which many had dreamed about for all their lives.

"Hogwarts. Of course, the time and location should have explained it." He muttered and slowly grinned. He had magic and it made so much sense, he hadn't had any accidental magic directly but he did get visions and glimpses of the past present and future which could only be explained as a seer, his telekinesis which had been attributed to Jack had switched to magic.

"Uh mum, is there an Owl outside?" "What, sweetheart why would there be an ow- oh bloody hell there is!" Sarah, his mother started confused then exclaimed in shock. "How do we get that to send a message." Mark wondered aloud. As if summoned there was a knock on the door.

"I'll get it." Mark said moving quickly to open the door. "hello I'm Professor –

"McGonagall from Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry."

"How!?" She asked incredulously.

"I saw it in a vision, to be honest I thought it was a silly dream, it seemed too outlandish but here we are."

McGonagall had always prided herself on being sensible and she refused to acknowledge Divination as a proper subject yet here a muggleborn had recognized her and spoken the exact same thing she would have said, and it all came from a dream or vision he had.

"Oh sorry, I should've introduced myself. Pleasure to meet you, I'm Mark Ambrose." He paused as if waiting for something. A silvery circle appeared to his left and a small creature, a jackalope with antlers stood there. His chocolate brown fur glinted in the sunlight and the antlers shined in a pale otherworldly silver as if radiating moonlight from within.

His moonlight silver eyes mirroring the same colour in Mark's eyes. "And this is my familiar Jack the Jackalope ." Mark continued with a smirk. "They are supposed to be myth!" the Professor rambled. "I find that ignoring what is supposed to be possible and not helps when dealing with our little troublemaker." Mark's Dad Hugo commented with the same smirk as Mark.

She sighed and ignored her inner Hagrid and focused on the muggle family in front of her. The dad was tall yet not abnormally so and had a strong build with dense muscles and sharp silver eyes. His posture shouted amusement yet readiness to act at any moment. 'A soldier' her former Auror instincts noted. The woman was slim yet not thin and had sharp aristocratic features and curled sandy-blond hair flowing down to her chest.

The seer muggleborn she noted was not afraid nor confused and mirrored the same amusement of his father yet lacked the military posture. His features were a mix of his parents, the body of his father and the same silver eyes with the facial feature and hair of his mother.

She shuddered at what she saw next, mischievous young eyes shining, it was as if Albus and James had been combined into one confident, cryptic and mischievous person. Shuddering didn't encompass the dread for the next seven years. She knew without a doubt that Albus would approve and would give a faux pass to any pranks and mischief the young wizard in front of her would cause.

She had enough with the twins on her hands and she would get another one. With a sigh she smiled her polite teacher mask in place and began to explain the magical world only for that infuriating smirk appeared on the boys face. "So when are you going to apparate us to Diagon?"

"How!?" She exclaimed. Forget about Trelawany she was a fraud, here in front of her was a real seer. "I guess I don't need to explain everything then?" She asked evenly trying to not let how done she was with the boy. "Yea, although how does the trace work and do I need any magical vaccine?"

"No vaccine, your magic will protect you from any non-magical disease we know, and the magical diseases will be dealt with when they come. Your first question is difficult, the trace works by scanning for any wand-magic done outside of Wizarding places, which includes wards, wizard residences and any other wizarding place."

"Thanks, I'll keep that in mind."

"In mind for what mister Ambrose?" She asked icily, the same tone that students dreaded. Instead of cowering under her glare and question he smiled and gestured around himself. "Why setting up wards of course!"

She knew it was coming yet she was surprised, why did it have to be a mix of Albus and her favourite Potter. Why couldn't she find a miniature Pomona or even Filius, on second thought not Filius, her friend got way too excited over every little thing gossiping about students well into the summer break even if every other teacher wanted him to stop.

"Just take my hand Mr. Potter." She sighed. "Is that a marriage proposal? If it is I'm sorry to say I'm too young." He paused then turned to her all innocence and charm. "Ask me again in 50 years and we'll see."

She growled her eyes shuttering between feline and human. "Why must you be exactly like him!?" She questioned the universe her stoic mask completely broken. "Who?" He asked ignorantly, an ignorance she began to question when she saw the twinkling in his yes that was so Albus she would have thought him to be his grandchild.

"The bloody menace James-"

"Potter, yes him. He was quite an interesting person, wasn't he? All charm and lovable in his last years and prancing around as a stag in his first years." The mini-Albus said evenly the twinkling never leaving his eyes.

She looked away from those annoying and twinkling eyes and looked at the fourth member of the family, the magnificent Jackalope. A mythical creature thought to be a myth. She growled once more, of course he had to have a rare magical creature as his familiar just to be more like Albus.

It was in the evening during a staff meeting to prepare for the next year that McGonagall entered the staff room her hair ruffled and robes with scorch marks. "Albus." She said eerily calm. "Do you have a secret grandson?" She asked without any humour and completely serious. "Not at the moment no." Albus answered his eyes twinkling. "Not at the moment!" Minerva screeched. "He had your twinkling eyes and the Marauder glint! You can't let him in here! Hogwarts will burn down!"

"Who might you be referring to Minerva?" He asked with a smile. "You visited three families today after all."

"NO! It took the whole day for one! He surprised Garrick and then spent 6 hours trying to get a wand, he tried every single one Albus!"

"The brat can't join then, how unfortunate." Severus Snape drawled from his dark and damp corner of the room. "No! He joined Garrick in the workshop and came out an hour later with a special wand just like you Albus. I swear to merlin he is yours."

"My dear Minerva I do find that quite impossible as I find the beater-bat quite preferable to the goal-post."

"I did not need to hear that." Severus snarked. "You could have simply denied it Albus."

"Indeed, I could." Albus answered twinkling eyes in full force. "Albus, Jacalope Antler, Thestral Tail Hair core 13 inches. Jackalope! He has a bloody mythical familiar! He is yours Albus, don't deny it!"

Albus frowned then answered. "Well there was that time Gellert and I went to Amsterdam-"

"Headmaster. No more please. Do not scar my mind with your love life." Severus said with a shudder.

"Very well Severus, now which house do you think the lovely young lad will end up in?"

"I can't deal with this! Not Gryffindor! I'll charm the Sorting Hat to prevent that just you wait." She said determined. "In fact, I'll do it just now!" She began to march for the door. "Severus, a calming drought perhaps?" Pomona suggested. "Indeed." He drawled and handed the bottle to the Herbology teacher.

"Sorry." She murmured and banished the contents into her friend's stomach. Instantly the transfiguration mistress calmed down and stopped. "I'll do it tomorrow." She allowed and sat down for the continuing meeting. "Excellent, now as you are currently not in any capacity ready to introduce yet another student I'll set Hagrid on the task of fetching young Potter."

"Potter? Son of James Potter?" Minerva asked her eyes glazed. "Yes Minerva, Harry Potter, the son of James and Lily." Filius said concerned. "Two twins, one Potter and another Albus." She paused then turned to them feeling faint. "Four! Its four, just like the Marauders!" With that she fell victim to a stunner from Albus.

"Severus could you escort our clearly distressed Minerva to the Hospital Wing?" Albus asked the dungeon bat kindly. Severus had paled significantly, another batch of Marauders. It would be a personal hell for him. "I think I need to go there myself." He muttered before leaving.

"They weren't that bad." Filius said aloud. Pomona was the one to answer him. "That's because they all loved you. I never asked but I find it vitally important, why did they never target you?"

"Well I helped them with the pranks of course!" He said cheerfully. "Ah! I knew it. They had been talking about the other mysterious benefactor every time I helped them." Albus commented looking at his fellow teacher in a new light.

"Oh, Merlin be mighty." Pomona muttered faintly.
