Authors note: Just in case someone didn't notice Episode 2 is no longer a repeat of the first one.

Marshal looked at the statues of the missing members of the team. The fourteen-year-old dalmatian missed them greatly. Everyone did. Everyone that is except Chase. His former best friend saw what happened as what they deserved. Marshal felt the team was at the brink of falling apart. If Chase did quit like he was thinking about it could be the end.

As Marshal drove back to the Lookout, he thought of a saying Skye had said. "Stand strong when life changes because God is in control." How could he stand strong for the team on his own? Marshal had to find out.

At the Lookout he spotted Rocky with Zuma's old wagon. The fourteen-year-old mix breed had a plush lab inside. Marshal was glad Rocky had found a way to cope with the situation. He was also wearing one of Skye's old collars on one leg.

Then Chase came over. His floppy ears bouncing in a strange way. No one paid much attention to him anymore. The German shepherd waged his stubby tail, while carrying as strange ball.

Marshal all of the sudden realized that Chase didn't look right. The dalmatian wondered how these strange changes happened. It wasn't normal he knew from his medical training. But what caused it?

Marshal slipped into the Lookout. Marshal figured to start he should look at pictures to see when it started happening. As he scanned through pictures Marshal noticed the changes happened slowly over time.

After a while he found when the changes started happening. During the first time Skye went missing. No one had noticed because they were busy looking for Skye.

Marshal wasn't sure why he hadn't picked up on it sooner. There was no way the real Chase would treat Skye this way. Besides how did he miss the neon pink eyes? They had all been very distracted for this to slip by.

But why was the imposter here? Did he want something? If so, why was he still here? After all it had been eight years. That was plenty of time to snag what he wanted. And what was up with the changes that gave him away? Whatever the reason Marshal had to tell Ryder.

As he hurried to the elevator some sort of powder fell on him. Whatever it was it was making him sleepy. Marshal struggled to stay awake. But soon he fell down asleep.
