Detective Duck, as his colleagues called him, walked through the scene of the crime, flanked by Detective Denver Sirtum. They stepped over where the body had been found. It had been found on the grass, so they weren't able to chalk the outline. Instead, S.H.I.E.L.D had been forced to spray paint the area around the body in bright red, making it look like blood was ominously placed where the body was, signaling the man's fate. He had been found dead this morning, with a large gash in his side. There was also a large gaping horizontal slit on the tree, as if something had gotten lodged into it and removed. S.H.I.E.L.D had partnered with the F.B.I on this case, as it involved possible un-authorized powered person involvement. The crime and case where the F.B.I's jurisdiction, whereas the possible powered person involvement was a direct jurisdiction of the Sokovia Accords, which made this case also S.H.I.E.L.D jurisdiction. Howard the Duck had quite the story to tell on how he wound up as head detective on this case. Future Gwenpool accidentally traveled into another dimension well trying to rescue her pet, Jeff the Land Shark. This led her into the animal dimension, and she met Spider Ham, Captain Americat, and eventually, Howard the Duck. Howard followed her back through the portal she had come through into his dimension, and was surprised to find himself surrounded by odd creatures who called themselves humans. The only one like them he had ever seen before was the one who called herself "Gwenpool". Gwenpool needed to get rid of him fast, before S.W.O.R.D or S.H.I.E.L.D (Or both) found out that she had traveled between dimensions. Howard the Duck ended up at S.H.I.E.L.D, right on the night that a position for a detective opened up. He was immediately signed onto this case with no prior experience, and had been threatened by S.H.I.E.L.D to be sent back to his dimension if he didn't solve this case. This is why he was here now. To solve this case. Agent Wu called over to him. "Detective Du- I mean, uh… Detective Howard! I found something!" Howard started towards Agent Wu, his pace growing faster and faster as he walked towards Agent Wu. He arrived next to Jimmy Wu alone, because Detective Denver Sirtum had been summoned by another group of S.H.I.E.L.D agents. "What is it, Wu?" Asked Howard. "Well, I seem to have found something. These marks in the trees seem to be from some sort of round flying obj-" "Captain America." Interrupted Howard the Duck. "I'm sorry, what?" Questioned a bewildered looking Jimmy Wu. Howard ignored Wu's question, and continued. "We're going to see Captain America."

Howard had just finished talking with Maria Hill, the acting director of S.H.I.E.L.D now that Nick Fury has been missing. That's why they called on him, an inexperienced duck to work on a high priority case like this. Everyone good was working on finding Nick Fury, Director of S.H.I.E.L.D. Hill had granted him use of two S.H.I.E.L.D S.T.R.I.K.E teams. S.T.R.I.K.E was a program for S.H.I.E.L.D agents who were above 55 that should have retired, but didn't want to leave the organization. In other words, S.T.R.I.K.E only exists so 55 year olds don't get sad for being excluded. S.T.R.I.K.E stands for "Strategic Tactical Recon Investigational Konned Elders. Each team had 8 members in it, and are armed with tasers and manacles. This is likely the only action they will ever see. The whole team, Howard the Duck, Agent Jimmy Wu, and detective Denver Sirtum, as well as the 16 S.T.R.I.K.E members, were all seated in a S.H.I.E.L.D Quinjet, rocketing through the air at extreme speeds. They were headed to Avengers Compound, to question, interrogate, and possibly detain Steve Rogers, also known as Captain America. Howard the Duck sat there, his fur and flesh pushing down into the nano-tech cushions that Tony Stark and Reed Richards had designed for him. Avengers Compound was currently located in rural New York. If you didn't already know this, you could easily tell by looking out your window and looking down. They were right over Avengers Compound, and were making their way towards the landing pad outside. Howard could hear the loud roar of the Quinjet's turbines in his duck ears. Suddenly, Howard heard a jolt. They had touched down. Detective Sirtum, Agent Wu, and Howard stood up, and quickly vacated the Quinjet and out into the outside perimeter of Avengers Compound, the building's metal, sleek, futuristic exterior. Jimmy Wu motioned for the two S.T.R.I.K.E teams to exit the Quinjet and surround the perimeter of the building. The S.T.R.I.K.E teams marched into position, forming a tight circle around the building. Jimmy Wu joined the S.T.R.I.K.E teams ranks, helping form the perimeter, well Detective Sirtum and Howard the Duck stepped up to the bulletproof glass doors of Avengers Compound. Detective Sirtum knocked three times. No-one answered, so Detective Sirtum rang their "Ring" doorbell, and Scott Lang's voice came through the doorbell. "Yello! Who's this?" "Detective Denver Sirtum, Detective Howard, and F.B.I Agent Jimmy Wu." Responded both detectives simultaneously. "Like, as in "The Duck" Howard?" Questioned Scott Lang. Howard The Duck sighed. "Yes." He moaned. "Is Steve around?" "No, sorry. Steve left a few hours ago." Responded Scott Lang, suddenly seeming frantic. "Did he say whe-" Howard didn't get to finish his sentence. The doorbell beeped, and Scott's voice cut out. "Let's move, people!" Shouted Detective Sirtum. Everyone holsted their pistols and hustled up the ramp and back into the Quinjet. "Everyone on?" Shouted Agent Jimmy Wu. There was no response, but they still left, headed towards the nearest airport. The same airport who had just reported a plane stolen just a moment ago.

John Walker was flying a Boeing 737 Passenger Jet. In the air. He had just stolen it from an airport. He had a weaponless, and vulnerable Steve Rogers tied to a seat in the back. John knew how to fly a plane. He had once flown a plane during his time in Osborn's Avengers. A grunt was heard echoing through the plane. Steve Roger's was attempting to tell him something. Or it was a trick. John wasn't new to this. He ignored Steve, his once idol. The Spot, a man in a white jumpsuit covered with… you guessed it, black spots, was sitting next to Steve and watching him as John piloted the plane. The Spot was a hired mercenary. Someone who would work for whoever paid the most. And right now, that person was John Walker. You may ask, where was John flying the plane? Where could possibly be a safe place to land a stolen Boeing jet from a US airport? The answer is simple. Latveria. A country run and controlled by Victor Von Doom himself. If everything went according to the plan, they would land the stolen airliner on a hidden runway in Latveria, right outside of Doom's castle. Doom had promised John that some mysterious "Ambassador" would greet them at the runway and lead them to Doom's castle. John Walker was wondering who the mysterious "Ambassador" could be, when the control panel began screaming at him with different shrill beeps and alarms, and everything of that sort. He glanced up. There was a red light flashing, labeled "Proximity Alarm." John's eyes shot down to the radar. Sure enough, there were three little blips on the screen surrounding the blip that was the stolen jet, one in the back, and one on each side of the plane. John yelled back to The Spot, "Look out the window! Is there something to the side of us?!" The Spot pulled up the blinds on the window, and glanced out. Sure enough, there was a S.H.I.E.L.D Quinjet just outside the window, flying through the clouds directly next to them. The Spot had the power of creating portals and teleporting, so he flung a spot of his arm, and a large black portal in the air appeared. The Spot launched himself through it, and it teleported him to the wing of the Quinjet. However, the fact that he hadn't realised that there were three of them were now clearly apparent. He quickly teleported back inside of the stolen jet, and back into his seat next to Captain America, who was still taped to his seat. Jimmy Wu's voice rang over the speakers on the Quinjet. "Land immediately or you will be shot down." John Walker panicked. Beads of sweat dripped down his face. "This is the end." John thought, as he was a pessimist. John prepared to be caught, his plan failed. Then, John heard a loud noise. Louder than loud. A crash of drums. Light filled the cockpit, illuminating the hundreds of dust particles floating among him. He spun his head. There, where a Quinjet had been, was now just a plume of raging fire. He glanced around. He saw the same had happened to the others. He turned his head back, so he was peering through the thin sheet of glass that separated him, and all other pilots, from their death. He noticed that there seemed to be some sort of webbed foot and a beak clinging onto the windshield. He reached forwards, and wrapped his hand around a throttle. His muscles tensed, and he pulled it back. He shot forwards, a sonic boom formed behind him, and the webbed foot flew off of his windshield.
