A/N: Hey guys, welcome back to chapter 2 of What Have I Done? This is the first time in a long time that I have uploaded something so soon after a previous upload and to be honest, I am quite pleased with myself.

Anyway, I'm pretty sure you don't want to hear me going on, so without further ado, let us get on with the story.

Previously…

'I killed my brothers, I betrayed them, what have I done?' Dogma looked down at his hands still in binders.

Dogma quickly raised the hand blaster up, unused to such a small weapon in his hands but determined to finish what he'd started, placed a well-aimed shot through Krell's back.

Dogma moves the blaster down away from his chin and points it at his chest, at his heart, instead. "I can't. I'm sorry, I'm so sorry."

Dogma looks at him sadly, "I… I'm sorry sir." Is one of the last things he whispers to his captain, to his brother as he finally lets the darkness take him, falling limp in his brothers' arms.

As Dogma went limp in his arms, Rex began to panic. He placed Dogma's body down on the ground, before kneeling above him, and using as much strength as he dared to press down on the blaster wound in Dogma's chest. "Come on little brother, stay with me, please" Rex begged as tears gathered in his eyes.

Rex felt someone grab his shoulder, pulling him backwards, as Kix appeared in his vision on the other side of Dogma. "Come on, Rex, let Kix work." Jesse whispered in Rex's ear, before placing both hands under his arms and pulling him up and out of the way.

"Dogma?" Kix asked slapping lightly at Dogma's face. "Dogma, can you hear me?" getting no response from the unconscious clone, he moved onto more pressing matters.

Kix looked down at the blaster wound through dogma's chest. He quickly pulled gauze pads out of his med kit, placing them on Dogma's chest wound. "Jesse, put pressure on the pads now" Kix ordered as he reached up to Dogma's neck to check his pulse. "Pulse is weak, but it's there"

Kix grabbed the stretched they had brought with them and lined it up next to Dogma's body. Jesse, noticing what Kix was doing, prepared himself to help the medic lift Dogma onto the stretcher. "I have his shoulders; you grab his legs. Ready; 1… 2… 3… and lift." In simultaneous movement, both Kix and Jesse lifted and shifted Dogma onto the stretcher. "Quickly Jesse, I need him in the med bay ASAP"

Kix grabbed the stretcher by Dogma's head, whilst Jesse grabbed the stretcher by his feet. Together, in sync, the pair lifted the stretcher and started moving quickly but carefully towards the med bay. Rex and Fives grabbed the med kit bag Kix had left on the ground and followed closely behind the others.

Once at the med bay, Kix and Jesse quickly transferred the wounded clone onto a bed, before Kix kicked them all from the med bay, "You need to leave so I have room to work, now!" Rex, Jesse, and Fives tried to refuse and complain, but Kix levelled them all with a glare, "Out Now!"

Once the others had left, Kix turned back around and ran over to the bed they had placed Dogma in. Coric, who was also in the med bay at the time, came over to help Kix. "What have we got, Kix?" Coric asked looking at the younger medic.

"Blaster wound to the chest, entrance wound but no exit wound, the shot didn't go all the way through, probably because of the close proximity of the blaster to his chest." Kix reported to the senior medic as he removed Dogma's armour.

"What do you mean, close proximity of the blaster? How close could it have been? What happened?" Coric asked worriedly, whilst helping to remove Dogma's body suit after they had gotten his armour off.

"It was flush up against his chest, according to what Jesse told me. He… he tried… *throat clear* he tried to kill himself, Coric." Kix explained, trying to keep his voice steady, whilst starting an I.V..

"He did what?!" Coric's head snapped up to look at Kix, but he kept his attention on the task at hand, which was hooking monitors to Dogma's chest.

"Coric, now is not the time. Please!" Kix looked desperately at his brother.

"You're right, I'm sorry." Coric apologised before looking sharply at the heart rate machine as it flat lined. 'Grabbed the defibrillator, quickly. Come on Dogma, don't do this, please."

Kix ran the defibrillator over to the bed, breaking speed recording for how fast he set it up. Kix grabbed a syringe of adrenaline, and speedily injected into the I.V. he had set up in the crook of Dogma's left elbow.

"Come on, Dogma, come back to us please." Kix begged under his breath as he watched Coric shock his little brother's heart to try and get it started again. Kix, turned to look at the monitors again and noticed Dogma's oxygen saturation levels were low, turning back around, he quickly grabbed everything he would need to intubate his brother, before doing exactly that.

Once Dogma was intubated and finally had oxygen running through his body, life signs once again began to show on the monitors. Both Kix and Coric breathed sighs of relief. They both then turned towards the wound that was still in Dogma's chest.

Kix grabbed a scalpel, and slowly cut away the burnt pieces of flesh around the wound. Whilst Kix was cutting away the dead flesh, Coric grabbed a suture kit, and started to prepare a needle and thread so he would be able to stitch the wound closed.

Whilst Coric was stitching, Kix grabbed a bacta patch and a roll of bandages. Once Coric was finished, Kix carefully applied the bacta patch and with Coric's help, they lifted the unconscious trooper up and bandaged his chest up. Finally, Coric injected a pain killer into the previously set up I.V..

"Not bad for 2 hours of work" Coric said turning around to look for his brother. "What are you doing?" he asked when he finally spotted him bringing bandage rolls over to the bed.

"He tried to kill himself, Coric." Kix reminded his brother, "I think we should tie his hand down with these bandage rolls. Just in case he wakes up when nobody is around and tries again." Kix explained as he took a hold of one of dogma's hands and started to loop one of the bandage rolls around his wrist, not tight enough to cut off circulation but also not loose enough so he can escape and hurt himself again.

"You're right. It would be the most logical thing to do" Coric agreed and grabbed the other roll before copying Kix with Dogma's other wrist.

Once Dogma was restrained to the bed, the medics gave the restraints an experimental tug, just to be sure they wouldn't break easily if Dogma were to strain against them.

"You better go tell the others that he is going to be OK." Coric said to his medical colleague.

Kix turned to him with tears in his eyes, "Is he though? Is he going to be OK? Because right now I'm not so sure of that myself." Kix whimpered.

Coric pulled Kix to him, cradling him to his chest as he reassured his little brother, "Maybe he's not OK right now, at least not mentally. But physically he is going to be OK and you know we will help him every step of the way until he's mentally OK too."

Kix nodded before composing himself and walking to the med bay doors, preparing himself to talk to his other brothers.

2 hours earlier

After Kix booted them out of the med bay, Rx, Jesse, and Fives couldn't find the strength within themselves to leave. So, they stayed, waiting outside for word to come on how their little brother was doing.

"Someone should get Tup; someone should let him know about Dogma." Fives said quietly.

"Not yet" Rex said, just as quietly, "There's no point in worrying him needlessly. If Dogma pulls through, we will tell him, let him come see him. I just don't want him to be here, for him to have that little light of hope in his eyes slowly die if Dogma doesn't make it."

"When." Jesse said.

"What?" Rex and Fives asked confusedly.

"You said if Dogma pulls through. It's not if but when" Jesse explained.

Rex's eyes lit up with understanding. "No, you're right. When he pulls through."

Silence once again descended on the small group of brothers desperately waiting for positive news. Each clone sat or stood or paced around outside the med bay doors, each lost in their own thoughts, until the med bay doors open 2 hours later, to reveal a harried looking clone medic, Kix.

"He's stable for now. We did lose him, but we managed to get him back. The wound was rather minor, but it did slightly damage Dogma's lungs, so we had to intubate him to keep him breathing. You can come and see him now." Kix explained softly, whilst looking physically and mentally exhausted.

Kix stepped aside to allow his brothers into the med bay to see Dogma. Despite everything be explained and warned to them, nothing could have saved them from the shock they felt once their gazes landed on Dogma.

A/N: And there we have it, Chapter 2. I really struggled with this chapter. I restarted it several times trying to find the perfect oath to take it on. I'm not the best at writing medical kind of scenes, so I hope this turned out alright for you guys. I am by no means an expert in the medical field, so if I got anything wrong, please let me know.

I hope you enjoyed reading this chapter.

Please let me know what you think and if you have any ideas?

Thanks for reading
