Leah's Point of View

I was woken up by banging noises on my window. The noises didn't stop as something was banging against my window. I grumbled swinging my legs over my bed and walking to the window. I nearly screamed when I saw a figure standing outside it.

"Jesus Embry! What the actual fuck are you doing?" I scream whispered. He just smirked at me standing on my small balcony with no shirt on. I could feel my heart race as my eyes trailed down his body and back up to his face.

"See anything you like Clearwater?" He smiled raising an eyebrow. I gulped before rolling my eyes.

"Don't know what you are talking about Embry." I huffed crossing my arms. His eyes then trailed over my body as I was wearing panties and a t-shirt. I then realized I was revealing a lot in that moment.

"Can I go get dressed or do you need a couple more minutes to stare at me?" I teased.

"Give me a good spin first." He teased stepping towards me. My breath caught and I felt red in my face.

"You wish." I huffed before turning around. I went inside my room and he followed.

"Can you turn around so I can put pants on?"

"I think when it's just us we can stop pretending that I haven't seen you naked in a variety of positions." He smirked sitting on my bed. I got red and slightly wet remembering the scenarios. I shook my head to snap out of it.

"Well, that's in the past now." I said putting on shorts.

"And we got to keep it there." He sighed seeming a bit disappointed. I just looked at him confused.

"I mean we did agree two weeks only. And Sam would flip out." He muttered. I growled at the mention of Sam's name.

"Leah you have to understand. We are both stuck in Sam's pack. He alpha commanded me to stay in his pack a while back and I didn't tell Jake about it because Sam agreed that I could be free if I did." He sighed.

"Wait how do you happen to be free if you are commanded to stay?" I asked confused.

"So when Jake split initially from the pack, only Seth and Quill followed. I decided to stay because I was afraid what Bella's kid would become. I stayed because I thought it was right. But then after the two packs stayed separate, I went to Sam to tell him I am splitting. And he said he didn't want more to follow because it could create civil war. So he alpha commanded me to stay in his pack and I agreed not to tell Jake because he said he'd let me go. He told me I could move anywhere as long as I didn't go to Jake's pack." Embry explained. Fury rose up inside of me.

"Well I am going to fucking tell Jake." I stood up. He grabbed my arm.

"You cannot tell Jake because it would cause a bloodshed. And besides with Sam I can leave whenever I want. He doesn't care about me because I am a bastard. He only is worried that if I leave then so will the rest. Only way out is to have civil war between Sam's pack and Sam's. If anyone else decides to leave Sam's pack, he'd alpha command them to stay. And if that happens Jake will fight Sam and cause a civil war. A war in which anyone in Sam's pack will be commanded to kill Jake, Quill or Seth. The numbers aren't in Jake's favor and I won't cause deaths on either side." He sighed shrugging.

"So is that why Jake hasn't challenged Sam?" I asked.

"He doesn't know about why I stayed but I told Jake I'd help him get the numbers. The trouble is we can all read each other's thoughts so we all have to be careful about slipping up in front of Sam." He emphasized.

"Why hasn't Sam alpha commanded me to stay?" I asked sitting next to him.

"I don't really know Leah. Maybe because Jake wouldn't have it or Seth would be furious. Maybe because then it would cause more disloyalty to him if the pack saw it? Maybe because of what would happen if Emily found out?" He shrugged running his hands through his hair.

"So you're the inside man? That's why Jake called you to help me?" I realized.

"I still have to recruit everyone else. But you need to get strong enough to resist him. You are newer to the pack and whether you like it or not you are more submissive to him in wolf form. Your instincts want to be in a pack and serve the alpha. We need to train you to be strong, mentally and physically." He explained holding my hand.

"And you can't do that with me as a distraction." He sighed letting go of my hands.

"You aren't a distraction." I whispered strongly.

"I am commanded to stay in his pack Clearwater. I am getting as many people as I can out. He finds out that we fucked and you are alpha commanded forever and won't be able to escape him or his relationship with Emily. I know that's why you left and stayed gone. Plus you and I could imprint on other people. We just fucked so let's keep it simple." He whispered. Everything in me was telling me no. For some reason the thought of him enslaved to Sam infuriated me. The thought of me spending my life following Sam's commands as a wolf pissed me off. The thought of Embry or I imprinting on anyone else enraged me.

"I am going to help set you free." He whispered. I hugged him briefly.

"And then I will find for you to be free." He squeezed me hard.

"Leah…" He started to say shaking his head.

"When do we start training?" I asked breaking away from him.

"Why did you think I came here so early in the morning?" He laughed.
