Leah ran downstairs once she heard something break. Her dad was on the ground surrounded by glass. Her mom started to pick up the glass which only made Harry yell even more. He tried shooing Sue away as Seth and Leah made their way to their parents. Seth came up behind their dad trying to pick him up. Seth was met with fury as Harry tried fighting to get out of his grasp. They had never experienced their dad like this before.

Soon Leah was there trying to move her mom who was sobbing hysterically at that point. Her hands were cut from grasping the glass too heard. Pretty soon everyone was yelling and sobbing at each other confused and frustrated at the situation.

"What the fuck?" They heard a thunderous voice shout out behind them. They all froze in their current positions as Embry and Quill came inside. Leah's heart dropped seeing him after the day they shared together two nights before. She didn't plan to see him in this scenario so shortly after. Embry slowly approached them with Quill on his flank. He slowly came up to Sue and took the pieces of glass out of her hands and set them on the counter. He slowly led her over to the couch away from everyone.

"Okay, Seth come help her hands." He ordered looking at Seth. Seth had their dad in his arms and wasn't letting go. Embry slowly approached.

"Seth go sit with your mom. I got your dad." He slowly set Harry on the ground as Seth moved to Leah's mom. He hugged her into him as she cried into him. He motioned for Quill to clean up the glass as he picked Harry up and leaned him against him. He slowly pulled him outside to get some air. Leah followed him outside.

Quill took care of the glass and moved over to the couch taking care of Seth and Sue. Leah sat on the porch stairs as Embry leaned her dad standing up against the post.

"Embry he shouldn't…" Leah started to say.

"Leah, let the man stand. He's fine." Embry said softly. That's what this was all about. Harry feeling like he was weak, like he couldn't take care of himself or them. Leah realized that suddenly and nodded. Embry went to his car and brought back cigarettes and lit one for Harry and one for himself. Leah growled.

"Damn it Leah. Let me smoke if I want." Harry almost growled at her. He automatically regretted it and quickly apologized. Leah held her hand out and Embry hesitantly handed her one and she lit it. They all just looked out into nothing and smoked together in silence.

"Thank you Embry." Harry managed to choke out after several moments. Embry nodded blowing out the smoke and clapping Harry on the back before leaning over the railing next to Harry. Leah could see now what Paul was talking about. Embry was close to her dad and Harry obviously loved him as a son. Her heart dropped as she knew he was losing a father figure as well.

"I am sorry, baby girl." Harry sighed looking broken again. Embry motioned her over to her dad so he could hug her. The hug was weak but in that moment it was powerful in another way. They both smelled like smoke but she didn't care. She was his little girl again in his arms and even though with the pack she acted like such a hard ass, in her dad's arms she was small.

"Embry can you get Sue?" He asked hugging Leah one more time. Embry nodded and brought Sue back out. Embry took her by the hand and slowly led her inside with Quill and Seth.

"Hey." Harry said nervously. He held his hand out to Sue and she slowly took it.

"Forgive me." Harry begged holding her against him. She slowly leaned away and kissed him gently. She smiled at him gently and he knew she held nothing against him.

"I hate just being useless." Harry choked out. Sue almost sobbed at that remark.

"You are not useless. I am. I can't do this without you." She began to sob making him roughly pull her into him. Her body shook into his as she broke down in his arms.

"Sue, you can. You are so strong. Honey, you guys are all so strong." He repeated into her hair.

"I don't want to do this without you." Sue repeated again and again as they fell to the ground. He held her against him as she sobbed in agony into his chest. His own tears fell onto her hair.

"I don't want to go." Harry gasped into her hair. He let all the fear go at that moment.

"Sue, I would give up my soul if it meant more time with you and the kids. But it's my time and I have to go. We all have to go someday. You will be lost for a bit but I will always be with you. You will have days when nothing feels good and the sun is gone but I promise you will laugh again. Leah will find love again and it will be such a powerful love that she deserves. And so will Seth. Seth will find his place and learn that there was nothing on the planet that he could do to disappoint us. Seth will become a great powerful leader and man. You all will survive this." Harry said with such conviction. Sue sobbed into his chest knowing, no praying he was right. Praying that they would survive this.

"I love you Harry." She said looking into his deep brown eyes.

"I love you more Sue." He promised.

"We will survive." Sue promised.

"Yes, survive and live." He smiled down at her.
