It's So Magical

Lea didn't know what it is, exactly, but the idea of Xion carrying a weapon seemed... wrong to him somehow. She seemed too nervous, as she held the instrument in her hand. But she was also so severe with it, that she held the hilt of the weapon against her abdomen, almost seeming about to bruise herself as she did.

Lea knew he probably shouldn't critique her, though. He didn't really know her at all… and even more than that, he somehow tell that she hated him with a passion.

So, Lea kept his mouth shut. And he also chose not to think about the foxy lady he'd just met, Princess Larxene, who he'd just met (who had also just been kidnapped), who made him want to abandon everything he'd learned from Sora, just so he could be with her… and tried to figure out how he was going to get the Princess back, alongside his new allies Roxas and Xion.

If Lea could have, he would have just turned his Keyblade into a Glider, and tried to fly off in the direction she'd disappeared in. But he couldn't do that without alerting Roxas and Xion to the power of the Keyblade, and perhaps to the knowledge of other worlds, so he couldn't do it.

So, he just kept running… the sand getting in his shoes and lungs more and more for his efforts. But this was just what it was to be a Keyblade wielder, Lea supposed. He'd gotten it memorized, long ago.

"Y'know..." Roxas muttered, as he caught up with Lea and put a hand on his shoulder to try and halt him, Lea presumed. And he did halt. Because there was no fun trying to have a conversation with people when you were jogging, but it was even worse when you were running. "Not to be a Debbie downer here, because I do think we could really catch up to the Princess, if we kept at it. But what are the chances of us keeping that kind of energy up? I feel like we should go back to the castle, and get some horses ourselves. We have a better chance of catching up to them that way. Sure, we'll have lost the trail some at that point and will have to try and track them, but-"

"But I think our new friend Lea here, should stop lying to us and show us what he's really made of. Could your weapon get us to the Princess in better time, if you used your full power?" Xion interrupted Roxas, sending Lea a particular look as she did so. And it was as if she was trying to say with her eyes, that even though her tone was accusatory here—and she'd figured out what he hadn't wanted her to—she didn't blame him for anything, or wasn't jealous in the slightest.

Lea still couldn't help cursing, though, for being a much worse spy than he thought he was. "Yeah… it could. And I'm starting to think that that's the most important thing here. You're right, Xion. Alright, you two. I'm going to turn my Keyblade into a Glider, and see if we can all three ride onto it, to get to that Princess! Got it memorized?"

"Keyblade?" Roxas asked, tilting his head to the side and exchanging a glance with Xion.

But Lea didn't have time for explanations right now. He threw his Keyblade into the air, in a wide arc, and watched as a wide beam of light appeared in the air to begin transforming it into another form: that of a motorcycle.

Gently, the Glider came back to the ground: the light looking like it was holding onto it the entire time that it maneuvered, as if it was a gentle hand bringing it down.

And it was Roxas, who seemed to be more in shock than Xion was, who whistled the moment he saw it. "That's uhh… really something," he remarked. "What is it?"

"Something that will allow us to save the day! Now c'mon!" Lea tugged Roxas onto the motorcycle behind him, and Xion followed suit, getting on behind them.

It was a tight fit, but they all managed to fit there without falling off.

And using his heart or mind or something—Lea wasn't entirely sure; Sora said it was his heart that did something, but Lea had his doubts—Lea began making his Keyblade hovering in the direction he wanted it to go, and then they were taking off in the direction that the Princess had been taken!

And all was going exceptionally well… except for Xion being so afraid of heights, that she was trying to hide behind Roxas' back. But Roxas was doing a spectacular job of destroying any stray Heartless—though they were very few—that may attack them with his sword.

But just as they were coming upon the carriage that held Princess Larxene, and the building they meant to smuggle her into, her kidnapper, Marluxia, saw them, and swatted at Lea's Glider, sending it flying into the nearby building.

None of the three of them crashed into the building. They all fell off the Glider before it impacted into it. But they all did crash into the ground, Lea saw.

And if he was seeing things right, and it was hard to at this point, as consciousness was desperate to leave him, Roxas and Xion had hit their heads like he had.

The Glider had turned back into a Keyblade and gone back to Lea's hand.

And Marluxia tried to remove it from Lea's hand, to no avail. And Lea tried to fight back against this, and anything else he might do, but it was useless.

For soon, he knew nothing.
