I do not own the little witch academia series, nor any of its characters.

Diana was walking in the corridors, as usual. She was looking out for the students of the school. She had suggested that to the teachers of the school, and she intended on taking her role seriously. She continued her walk calmly, going to separate two girls who were fighting for a book a little further in the corridor. She sighed. Why couldn't everyone be peaceful, just for one night ? Well, if they were calm, she wouldn't have this job to do, she thought. She went along the corridor, answering the questions of the girls as she went. One had lost her toothbrush, another had broken her nail and was crying. Diana cast a location spell to retrieve the lost toothbrush and she cast another to heal the poor girl's hand. Both of them thanked her, offering her little gifts. Diana usually refused all the gifts that the girls gave her, saying that it was nothing, she was just doing her job. But this time, she was hungry, and one of the girls had a chocolate candy. She took it, thanking her.

She then went to another corridor. It was only the afternoon, it was a Saturday. She was suprised she had not seen Akko at least once since the start of her shift. She was already one hour into it (she worked during two hours in the Saturday afternoons, and then she studied or went into town with her friends.) and she had not seen the cute troublemaker. What, did she think...cute ? No, she did not. Absolutely not. Akko was annoying, that was all she was. Annoyingly cute, she thought. Oh no ! Her brain was playing tricks on her now ! She saw two other girls who had yet another problem to solve. A very interesting story about a hat stuck behind a bed. If Diana had time for it, she could have written a book about all the weird things she was asked about every day.

Just as she finished with the girls, she saw something outside. Her shift was finally over, so the authorized herself to go and see what it was. She went outside. A girl was flying on a broom. Was it...Akko ?! No way ! She flew ! She flew like a pro whereas she had never been able to before ! Incredible ! Diana looked at her, feeling strangely proud. She watched her like that for a few minutes. but like all the things Akko did, all the magical things, at least, or was it just the flying part of it ? It went crazy. All of a sudden, whereas she had been flying flawlessly for minutes now, she lost control of her broom. She screamed. Diana called for her broom (she had taught it how to come at her command), hopped on it and one Tia freyle later, flew with all her might towards the falling Akko. She really didn't want to think about what would happen if she didn't reach her in time. She lied down on her broom to go even faster, determined to catch the falling girl. Her duty may have ended, but she would never let anyone fall to their death, especially not Akko.

She caught on to Akko, catching her in her arms. She put her on her broom. Akko was trembling. The other broom fell to the ground with a sharp thud which startled both witches. Akko said :

- Oh my god ! It could have been me ! I could have crashed with it ! Diana !? Is it you ? Thank you so much ! Why do I even ask ? You saved me so many times now ! My savior !

She hugged the blonde witch who thought for a moment that her heart stopped because of the action. But no, she was apparently still alive. Good. She landed the broom, helping Akko to get off of it. She answered :

- You're welcome, Akko. I couldn't let you crash ! I saw you flying up there, you were incredible ! What happened ?

- I don't know ! I was doing well, for once, and I think I got distracted and lost my concentration. I'm sorry.

- You don't have to be sorry. All is well now.

Diana led Akko to her room, giving her a tea to calm her down. She promised her to help her with her broom from now on, making Akko promise that she wouldn't train on her own like she did today. It could be dangerous, and Diana wanted to be here to catch her if she fell.
