"Claire we need to reset your wrist." Carlisle pleaded but she wasn't letting anyone but Quill touch her especially vampires.
"I want it off me." She kept repeating shaking like she was cold but she was just traumatized. Quill gently made her look at him.
"Claire? What do you want? Baby we don't understand." He said softly. It was the first time he had ever called her that and it snapped her out of it. She started trying to scrape the blood on her arms off signaling to Quill what she needed.
"Okay we got to get her in a shower." Quill instructed looking around for a female.
"I can help her." Leah and Sue offered but Claire shook her head. She knew they wouldn't hurt her but she just needed Quill at the moment. She didn't know why but she needed him. Quill sighed knowing so he gently led her out of the room earning wide eyes from the guys. He shut the door and locked it.
"I swear if this is the day they fuck…" Brady groaned out.
"Okay well let's worry about that later." Seth barked out reaching over to hug Leah. She could have died making that trade. She could have died taking on that leech alone.
"I know Seth. I am okay though." Leah sighed into his shoulder. He hugged her tighter.
"I can't live without you. Now you're back home you can't risk your life like that again." Seth muttered into her hair. He would have died had she gotten hurt. They were about to lose their dad, life without his sister was unbearable to think about. Not only that, but he wasn't sure Embry would make it out alive.
"That was a lot of blood." Sam spoke making everyone's heart sink. It was true… the amount of blood Claire was covered in was more than they expected. It was thick coats of it on her legs and in her hair.
"I have a plan. But I doubt anyone will go for it." Leah proposed. Everyone took in a breathe waiting to hear it.
"Sam what did that vampire say about Emily and I?" Leah asked as Sam shook his head trying to remember.
"I don't know Leah. I was more concerned that you offered to trade yourself for Claire. Emily is unconscious." Sam sighed.
"She said her and I look alike." Leah reminded earning confusing looks.
"To the racist eye of a billion old vampire my cousin and I look alike. Especially when the only other person to compare us to was white Claire." Leah explained before leaving to give Quill and Claire towels. She heard the water turn off and was giving the guys a chance to think over what she was suggesting.
"Leah! We are not doing that if it's your plan!" She heard Sam yell when she reentered the room. Quill jumped getting dressed and hurried to hear the plan.
"What is the plan?" Jake asked super confused.
"Leah is suggesting we swap her for Emily!" Sam spat. Everyone immediately jumped up protesting this.
"Enough!" Claire yelled making everyone immediately shut up.
"He is being cut open like he's nothing. They realized he could heal so they kept hurting and hurting and hurting him. The pool of blood was as think as carpet. They would cut him and break his bones. Once he healed they would repeat the process laughing! I can still hear the laughing in my fucking head! They told him if he doesn't beg for mercy for 10 hours they would let me go! I am out because he didn't beg them to stop! I was screaming and screaming and screaming but they never stopped!" Claire cried out before sobbing into Quill's arms.
"Get him out of there." Claire sobbed. Leah felt tears of her own slide down her face and saw many of the guys were close to letting them slip if not openly crying. One of their own was being tortured for a sick game. Vengeance fueled Leah up and she wasn't taking no for an answer.
"Leah I can't lose you too." Seth said softly. She sharply pulled him towards her and she hugged him with all her strength.
"Seth I have to get him back. Sam and I need Emily back too." She whispered.
"I can't live with myself if we got her back at the cost of losing you." Sam spoke with tears running down his face.
"We have to try." Leah shrugged. It was their only hope. Sam went up to her and hugged her into him.
"Sam I have to get him back. You have to get her back." She whispered in his ear. He hugged her tightly knowing what she was feeling. He knew it was their only chance.
"Claire what was Emily wearing?" Leah asked wiping away her tears when Sam broke away from their embrace.
"Black shirt and jean shorts." Claire said as Quill held her into him.
"I read the mind of the vampires before you killed them. I know where they are and how many there are." Edward offered walking in.
"Can the rest of you stay and protect our families?" Jake pleaded earning a nod from Edward.
"Three vampires left. You can get them out to fight outside. Leah can sneak in through the red door. Leah go down the stairs and take three rights. That's when you should see them. Get Emily out and have her run towards Sam. Should be not as dangerous." Edward summarized.
The pack got up to say their goodbyes to their families and imprints. Leah looked over and saw Claire hold onto Quill. Quill looked torn because he could not be away from his imprint because she almost died but it was his pack leaving.
"Quill stay here." Jake ordered knowing his dilemma.
"Jake I want to go." Quill argued as Claire cried into his chest.
"We know. But we got this. He would want you to stay with Claire." Jake choked out before turning around to leave. Little did they know it would be a more challenging fight. The next thing Quill heard hours later was Leah's scream.
