"The time forgotten mystery of the jungle." La says as she is showing the group around.

"Astonishing. It must be two thousand years old at least." Professor Porter says in amazement.

"Wow. Two thousand years. It was like that already. I swear." Tantor says as the group sees he broke a small statue.

"How long have you lived here?" Tarzan asks as he looks at La.

"All my life. It's a sad tale but the leopard men have raised me since I was child." La says.

"You don't look like the nurturing type." Professor Porter says before one of the leopard men growls at him causing Alexis to shift to wolf form and growl back.

"Professor might I suggest leaving the kitties alone." Alexis says as she looks at Professor Porter.

"I was raised by apes." Tarzan says.

"Oh my. We have so much in common. No wonder I felt an instant bond between us." La says happily as she walks off with Tarzan much to Jane's annoyance.

"Jane I'm gonna have a look around. I read about this place back home. I wanna see if it holds up to my findings." Alexis says as she looks at Jane.

"Okay Alexis. Just be careful and be mindful of any leopard men." Jane says as Alexis nods and runs off.

*Timeskip*

"Fascinating. Simple fascinating." Alexis says as she is walking in human form.

"It is beautiful isn't it?" A voice asks causing Alexis to jump in alarm before seeing La.

"Oh! La. You scared me." Alexis says in alarm.

"You have no reason to fear me dear." La says kindly while smiling.

"I know. You just startled me that's all. I still can't believe you've been here ever since you were a child." Alexis says as she looks at La.

"Yes. It is a wonderful place to grow up in when raised by the leopard men." La says.

"I'm sorry you know." Alexis says.

"About what dear?" La asks.

"About your family. I assume you're an orphan for a reason." Alexis says as she looks at La.

"Yes. Unfortunately." La says.

"I know how you feel. I lost my family at a young age. All from being different from others. Sometimes the world can be trult frightening on what it can do." Alexis says sadly.

"I'm sorry for that. Being different is sometimes a blessing dear. Perhaps you would allow me to know why you are different if it came with such a high price." La says curiously.

"I would prefer you not. I don't like people knowing about it." Alexis says hesitantly.

"Fair enough." La says.

"Wow. This place truly lives up to legend. I thought the tribe who lived here had went completely exctinct." Alexis says in amazement.

"Well they almost did my dear. But it's alright. It may be lonely but it's alright. I am impressed that you know so much about my home." La says.

"Yes. This city is one of my favorites that I read about. I always wanted to go exploring here." Alexis says as she looks around.

"Well how about you do then? You can explore with me. I know my city well." La says kindly.

"Really?" Alexis asks in surprise.

"Of course dear if you can keep up." La says as she smiles.

"No problem there." Alexis says as she runs with La over to a bridge.

"Oh!" La shouts as some ground crumbles beneath her calling her to begin falling.

"La! Got ya." Alexis says as she shifts to wolf form and grabs La before pulling her up.

"Oh my. Y-You saved my life." La says in surprise.

"Of course I did. I wasn't gonna let you fall." Alexis says as she shifts to human form.

"Ow." La says as she holds her arm.

"You're hurt." Alexis says as she sees the cut on La's arm.

"It's alright dear. It's just a scratch." La says as she winces.

"No it isn't. Hold still. My water abilities give me the ability to heal. I can't hear major injuries but it suffices." Alexis says as she pulls some water from the river and uses it to heal the cut on La's arm.

"Thank you. I can see why you're different my dear. No one has ever showed this much concern for me before." La says in surprise.

"Well no one has ever been this calm seeing the real me. You okay?" Alexis asks curiously.

"Yes. Thank you. I should get going. We're going on a mountain hike if you wish to join us." La says before she leaves.
