Hello everyone how's it going? I know it's been 3 months and it's because I was not in the mood to write and unintentionally had an unusually long hiatus. I'm back now though I don't know for how long and I've decided my next story will involve my own version of part 4 of "The Flash: Armageddon" and explore the idea of Barry finally having had it with Thawne's machinations and will take severe action against him.

Plus everything in parts 1-3 happened exactly as those of you who watched it remember though my version of Part 4 has Thawne not in danger of being erased from existence. Instead he's on the run but Barry with A.R.G.U.S's help tracks him down and captures him leading to this one shot's events. And Mia does not appear either while Despero has left the world in peace.

I'm also a West-Allen shipper but for this one shot and also for the anti West-Allen fans who read this if they choose to, he'll be married to Patty instead and she'll be the one who Thawne married in his Reverse Flashpoint timeline. I hope you'll all like this.

Main A.R.G.U.S Facility: Prisoner Wing

Barry was pacing back and forth angrily, hands clenched into fists, in front of the cell where his worst enemy Eoboard Thawne was currently confined. As he paced his mind was racing with everything he'd been dragged through over the last two days. His whole entire life had been torn asunder, his own wife and mission ripped out from under him, and he himself had been nearly driven to the most brutal emotional and psychological despair imaginable.

Worst but the monster before him had almost erased him from existence and murdered a number of heroes in a timeline of the former's own making, known as Reverse Flashpoint. And to add insult to injury he'd also murdered Joe, the last fatherly figure he now had. And that really infuriated the young speedster without end though he was tremendously grateful that Joe had been returned to him.

Not to mention his enemy's actions indirectly led to the world's destruction which Despero had referred to as Armageddon.

The villain caged before him had committed multiple terrible acts, had targeted him in so many ways from murdering his mother to using his own daughter against him. But these latest attacks against him the last two days was the final straw for him. As in the straw that broke the camel's back. And Barry knew at this point that it was more than time to take deeply decisive measures against his rival.

In fact he knew he should've enacted severe measures towards Thawne ages ago and having now made up his mind had contacted Clark, Kara, her foster sister Alex, and J'onn and requested their assistance which they'd gladly agreed to and especially after hearing the reason why, the three of them feeling infuriated towards the villain both for the sake of their friend and for rewriting their memories so that they were unwaveringly loyal to Thawne.

He'd also contacted the other available members of the Justice League besides Kara, Clark, and J'onn to be witnesses to what was going to happen though Sara and Kate were unavailable since the former was trapped in another time period while the latter had retired.

While Kate was unavailable, he did make contact with Ryan Wilder, the new Batwoman in Gotham city, since while she was not a member of the League and nor did he know her personally he still felt she should be a part of this since she'd also been affected by Thawne's machinations. And she'd agreed to come after hearing about what happened, furious since no one should be messing with her mind and life like the villain had done.

It took her some time to wrap her head around the concept of time travel and such but after having seen Batman wage war against some highly fantastical villains in years past along with multiple current day news broadcast about the Flash's battles with meta-humans in Central City she'd been willing to accept the existence of the weird and unexplained.

Before Barry executed his plan however, he wanted to first physically unleash all of his rage and aggression upon his arch enemy for all the latter had put him through and that's why he stood before the cell which caged Thawne for now, his hands clenched into fists while his knuckles cracked. Lyla Michaels, A.R.G.U.S.'s current director, wife of one of his closest friends from the now disbanded Team Arrow and a good friend of his, had agreed to allow him to be alone with Thawne for as long as he wanted and had disabled the cameras in the room.

Thawne on his part was sitting on the floor of his cell, his arms behind his back and his wrists encased in meta dampener cuffs, as he observed Barry pacing angrily outside of his cell. After some time he broke his silence.

"Something on your mind Allen?" the evil speedster questioned him smugly, eyebrows raised in curiosity while sporting a wicked grin.

Barry in response whirled around to face him, jaw clenched in anger, before immediately afterwards letting loose and no holding back.

"SHUT UP! SHUT YOUR MOUTH IMMEDIATELY!" Barry raged at him as the hero's eyes blazed with fury. "Do you realize the damage you did to my life and everything you put me through?! You tried to kill me as a child and upon failing murdered my mother which led to me being robbed of my father's presence in my life, manipulated myself and my friends for your own self-interests and even murdered Cisco in another timeline just because he learned your secret, aligned yourself with the Nazi empire from the past and helped them try to enslave the present, and you manipulated then used my daughter Nora, my own DAUGHTER, against me!

"And if all of that wasn't terrible enough and not believing you could stoop any lower, you waged a severe campaign against me and brutally trampled upon and sabotaged my entire life from murdering Joe, my only remaining father figure, to robbing me of my job, Star Labs, and my reputation which in turn led to the loss of the majority of my speed. And finally you robbed me of my wife, my team, my mission and entire life and claimed it for yourself and erased me from existence while to add insult into injury, turned me into the villain you are and turned my friends and fellow heroes against me and all for what? Just because you felt I stole your thunder when all I was apparently doing was helping people?! Seriously?!"

Barry paused a moment, taking a deep breath as his chest heaved and angry tears spilled from his eyes following his deeply raw and emotional tirade. Afterwards he resumed speaking while his voice came out in a low and cool tone, a hint of menace heard in it.

"Well guess what Thawne? I've managed to reclaim Patty, my team, friends, and allies, Joe, my speed, and my entire life and now here you are, in this cell, and at my mercy. And in just a few moments you're going to receive exactly what you deserve. For now though, I'm going to do something else I should've done a long time ago and you know what the best thing about it is? Nobody's gonna interrupt us until I'm through."

Barry then opened the cell door and after stepping inside and then closing it behind him, stood over Thawne. For a moment the former was silent as he looked down on him, gazing at him with all of the loathing he could muster. And then raising one of his fists, swung it at his enemy and made impact upon the latter's face and against his mouth, sending the villain reeling sideways. Shaking his head a bit in an attempt to reorient himself and spitting out blood, he turned to face the other speedster.

"Is that all you can do? Huh Barry?" Thawne questioned with contempt in his tone. Barry responded by next driving his fist into Thawne's stomach hard, knocking the wind out of the latter. Before Thawne could say anymore, Barry then began raining a series of punches onto his enemy, not holding back.

Multiple times he punched and struck the villain, pummeling him hard with severe and tremendous blows. He pounded and pounded and pounded him mightily, slugging him over and over again. He rained his fists onto his face, stomach, and sides, took turns lifting his own legs and unleashing brutal kicks onto his enemy's body.

Barry also grabbed his head and slammed it against the wall once and then shortly afterwards lifted up his foot and slammed it into Thawne's upturned stomach.

Over the next five minutes Barry continuously sent ferocious blows onto the madman, finally unleashing all of the rage, fury, and hatred he'd accumulated towards him over the last few years and not holding back, brutally punching and kicking, and stomping him for all he was worth.

By the time it was over and Barry had ceased the punishing assault, Thawne was sporting dark bruises all over his face, his ribs were greatly sore, his muscles ached severely, and his entire body throbbed with significant pain. Plus the side of his lower lip was cracked and bleeding, a rivulet of crimson blood flowing from the crack to his chin.

Barry stepped back for a moment to admire his handiwork, and feeling satisfied he then stepped out of the cell and moving to the door of the room, he called out to Lyla letting her know he was through. He then stepped away and allowed her and two black clad and armed A.R.G.U.S. guards to enter and the latter two men entered the cell, grabbed ahold of Thawne, their hands gripping his arms tight on either side, and lifting him up followed behind Lyla and Barry, the latter in the front of them all, to another room.

They walked through the corridors until they stood before the aforementioned room and upon arrival Lyla and the guards handed Thawne over to Barry who thanked them after which the director left while the guards agreed to wait outside. He then opened the door and pushed Thawne in after him and inside of the room stood Patty, Caitlin, Frost, Cisco, Joe, Cecile, Allegra, Chester, Jefferson/aka Black Lighting, J'onn/aka the Martian Manhunter, Clark/aka Superman, Kara/aka Supergirl, Kara's sister Alex, Ryan Choi/aka the future Atom, and Ryan Wilder/aka Batwoman. Each of them sent severely cold glares towards Thawne while giving Barry warm smiles of support which he returned.

Barry then placed Thawne in the center of the room, still cuffed, while the other heroes along with his team stood around the villain in a semi wide circle, their arms folded and their glares still written upon their faces. Barry on his part stood directly before his enemy and moved to pass judgment upon him.

"You have committed multiple grave crimes against me, my family, my team, and towards this world and have practically gone unscathed and I've continuously refrained from doing what was needed and exacting decisive measures against you. That comes to an end immediately and everyone present is here to serve as witnesses for what's about to transpire in addition to desiring recompense over your actions towards my loved ones and teammates over the years and towards the League Of Heroes and Justice over manipulating their minds due to your Reverse Flashpoint.

"What I have planned for you required the assistance of certain particular individuals, those being Clark, Kara, and her sister Alex. You see Thawne, you are tremendously too dangerous to be dealt with in any traditional sense like other enemies. But I also refuse to have your life come to an end due to my chosen principles although I'll no longer begrudge any other hero or vigilante from using lethal force against their enemies if it's genuinely called for.

"However there is an impenetrable location in which I can confine you where you'll never be able to escape or summon danger towards anyone else ever again. That place is an intergalactic prison known as the Phantom Zone, a realm located outside of our universe and inescapable for anyone and a fate some would consider to be worse than death. After explaining my intentions towards you with them, Clark, Kara, and Alex have agreed to help and brought with them a special device known as the Phantom Zone Projection which is a device used to transport one to that realm and I'm going to use it on you to entrap you forever."

Thawne's eyes widened in horror upon hearing this and especially due to being no stranger towards the existence of the Phantom Zone and everyone present could see the fear etched upon his face.

"What?! No! Barry you cannot send me to that place. If you do so then you might as well kill me!" he strongly protested in anger and terror.

Barry looked at him grimly.

"I'm sorry Thawne [he actually wasn't though] but this is clearly the only way to stop you completely and if you had not allowed yourself to be consumed by hatred we wouldn't have gotten those far. You brought this on yourself and now you have to experience the consequences of your actions."

That said, Barry turned to his two Kryptonian friends and Alex and gestured towards them that he was ready. They all nodded in return and Clark approached him with Kara also approaching with her cousin and the Supers handed him a circular device, blue in the center with a wide silver looking edge around it, which was known as the Phantom Zone Projector and Barry, upon taking it, pointed it directly at Thawne and fired it.

The result was a rippling light blue energy beam being projected, hence the name, from the devise and Thawne screamed in protest as it made impact with him and enveloped him in tiny squarish looking particles. And everyone present watched as the particles moved in a circular motion before him before absorbing him inwards and caused him to vanish as he was exiled to the Zone, the circular motion of the particles shrinking afterwards until leaving a tiny blue dot which winked out of existence.

For a short moment there was silence as everyone absorbed what had just transpired before erupting in cheers now that one of Earth Prime's most dangerous supervillains was finally vanquished. Though none of the cheers were more rambunctious as those from Barry's loved ones and teammates while the aforementioned hero himself felt as though a huge weight had finally been lifted up off of his shoulders.

Patty then approached her husband and the couple enveloped each other while she rested her head upon his shoulder.

"You did it Barry. You actually did it and I'm so proud of you for finally putting an end to that menace in our lives. I'm so proud of you and I love you so much," she proudly gushed to him.

"I love you to Patty and I'm just glad it's finally over," Barry replied as he continued to hold his wife.

"Whooooo yeah! Hasta Lavista Thawne," was suddenly heard from Cisco as he did a little dance, causing the others to chuckle.

"Yep. Or should I say ding dong the warlock is gone, like the witch is gone except warlock since Thawne's a guy and not a girl?" Frost added with a grin.

"Either or works in my book regardless of if it's Hasta Lavista or ding dong he's gone," Caitlin replied with a shrug while chuckling.

"Well regardless of how we say it, the point is that all of us are more than happy Thawne is gone and I'm very proud of you Bar," Joe added while clasping Barry by his shoulder.

"Thanks Joe. And we can all definitely rest in peace," the speedster smiled at his father figure after which was heard a chorus of "amens", "yah betchas", and "you got that right" all around, everyone happy that Thawne would never be a threat to them, to their world, or any timeline ever again.

Barry and Patty's Apartment

Later that day, the other heroes had said their goodbyes and returned to their cities while Barry, Patty, his team, Joe, and Cecile went to his apartment and continued the celebrations there, having a party and enjoying the festivities with plenty of food and drinks, punch and cold beers included, all around while playing some fun upbeat music and having a blast. After some time Barry excused himself and went upstairs and into his and Patty's bedroom where he quietly reflected on everything. He then sensed a presence behind him and turning around saw, to his great surprise, Oliver Queen himself standing before him.

Oliver was still wearing the dark green robes of the Specter but with his hood pulled back while his eyes glowed green briefly before quickly returning to their normal color.

"Oliver? Wha, I mean how….?" Barry slightly stuttered before trailing off a bit, confusion upon his face.

His friend and older brother in all but blood smiled at him.

"I understand you're confused Barry. The thing is that while I'm technically and officially still dead, being the new Spectre has moved me to the level of what others would consider a demi god though I don't personally consider myself any kind of god. It's just what others might now think of me as," Oliver explained. "And as one, I can move between the supernatural realm and the corporeal realm whenever I wish while also observing the comings and goings of this world though I'm not omnipotent either and nor can I see the future. Only the past and the present."

Barry nodded in understanding while scratching the back of his head.

"So you're kinda like Obi-Wan and Master Yoda then. Huh," he commented in interest.

"I actually hadn't thought of it though I suppose you could say that," the former Emerald Archer chuckled.

"So, um, why have you come here? Not that it isn't great to see you once again of course but why are you here now?" Barry questioned his friend, more than happy to see one of his closest friends once more but puzzled as to Oliver's presence.

"I saw what you went through with the Reverse Flashpoint timeline and everything leading up to it and I'm deeply sorry you experienced that. Though I'd also like to say that as horrible as your experience was, it could be considered your greatest crucifix, as of now at least, and one you were able to overcome and I'm more than proud of you," the other legendary hero answered and then continued.

"Though the main reason I'm here is to also to commend and congratulate you for finally stepping up, manning up, and doing what was needed to eliminate your worst opponent no matter how decisive it was while staying true to your principles and becoming a hero that makes extremely hard decisions. I'm extremely proud of you."

Barry felt a rush of warmth throughout his body upon hearing the praise bestowed onto him.

"Thank you so much Oliver. That means more than you can imagine. And I really miss you," he replied with a smile while getting a bit misty eyed.

"You more than earned it, along with your new gold boots I might add, and I miss you as well though know I'll always be there for you if needed. I have to go now though but as I'd said to you before, the real heroes are the ones that have to keep going and you must never stop," the Spectre affirmed and then returned the sentiment before encouraging him.

"Don't worry I will. And thank you Oliver again, for everything," Barry responded, thanking him for not only his current visit but also for everything he'd done for Barry.

"Take care Barry," Oliver smiled once more before vanishing while Barry smiled back, watching as he vanished before returning downstairs to the party, content with his life and relieved that Thawne was finally gone forever.

The End

I was originally going to add Patty to the very end in which she'd come to get Barry following his discussion with Oliver, but I decided to refrain since I think it's best to have the ending be Barry and Oliver centered so as not to take anything away from their moment by bringing her in.

Oliver's quote about needing to keep going and not stop is from "Crisis: Part 4".

I hope you all liked this and as my first story since my hiatus and hopefully I'll see you all next time even though I don't know when that will be.

Have a great day.
