Chapter Six

"Luffy? How do you feel about me?"

Tension grew between the two, as Ace was dying to know what Luffy would say.

But, Luffy really didn't know what to say.

She was never the type that liked to label things. And Luffy knows Ace felt the same.

But she was well aware her relationship with Ace was advancing, and it definitely wasn't platonic.

His face was gravitating toward hers, to the point where she could see the tiny freckles on his face that resembled little stars. She could feel the hotness of his breath, and smell the slight fragrance of meat and husk milking out of his skin.

She had the urge to grab him by his hair, and kiss him messily. Maybe she could kiss him now to answer his question. Actions always spoke more than words when it came to Luffy.

She bit her bottom lip slightly before proceeding to her next action.

She started to lean in steadily, parting her pale pink lips that had been quivering. Ace had done the same. Her thumbs lined against his prominent cheekbones, the texture of his skin being weirdly rough but soft at the same time.

She traced her fingers down to the side of his neck, as her own head tilted slightly to the left as her little eyelashes fluttered before she closed her eyes.

The two inched toward each other, closer and steadily, until centimeters apart.

"IT'S THEM!"

Suddenly the two broke apart quickly before being able to have their special moment, as they turned to see a marine soldier pointing toward their direction in the alleyway.

Ace groaned before sighing. "Luffy, I'll take care of this. You go ahead!"

"O-oh Okay!" she exclaimed, stumbling on her own words in the beginning of her sentence.

Luffy ran, leaving Ace behind to deal with the marine soldiers. Luffy felt a bit disappointed wanting to share a kiss with Ace, after not seeing him for three years.

Ace felt similar, his reunion kiss was ruined. But he smirked in reassurance, knowing it won't be long until they get another moment like that.

Luffy saw the silhouette of the Going Merry where she screeched to her crew. "OI! GUYS it's me!"

She could feel the impacts on her sandals everytime she bounced on top of a new rooftop. She wrapped her gummy arms around a chimney before launching herself toward the crew.

"WOOHOO!" She exclaimed before she started flying toward the ship.

"Eh?" Nami retorted seeing Luffy flying toward them at an incredible speed.

"Zoro! WATCH OUT!" Chopper shrieked, covering his round eyes with his little hooves. The reindeer noticed that Luffy would crash right into the swordsman.

"Eh?!" Zoro exclaimed before the strawhat captain had crashed into him, causing Zoro to be pinned to the ground under her.

Luffy's forehead planted directly into Zoro's face, causing the marimo to sink into the ship's wooden plank floor.

Luffy chuckled, patting Zoro directly on his face. "Sorry Zoro! Didn't mean to do that" she told him, as the unconscious swordsman remained dead on the Merry's floor.

After dusting off the debris on her clothes, Luffy stood up looking down at the enraged Zoro. She replied by laughing sheepishly, holding her stomach from how hard she'd been laughing.

Creating a fist, the swordsman reached up toward the straw hat girl and gave her a blow or two to the head.

"OUCH!" she shrieked, as the rest of the crew sighed, excluding Sanji who responded by kicking Zoro in the chest, preaching about how he should be treating ladies with respect.

"Oi! Rowdy crew you have here."

Luffy's pain was instantly relieved when she had seen her brother appear, squatting on the rim of the Going Merry.

"Ace! You found us already!"

The Whitebeard commander smirked, "There's no way I'd be as bad with directions as you."

"Hey! At least I'm not as bad as Zoro!" Luffy retorted pointing at the pirate hunter.

"OI!"

Ace had looked around, his thumb on the edge of his chin. It was just as Luffy had said, a green haired swordsman and a love cook had been bickering, a orange haired woman who'd been carrying loads of treasure with her, a duck, the blue haired girl who he assumed was the princess, a liarish looking man and a racoon dog looking thingy.

He smiled to himself, 'looks like his sister had found herself quite a crew.'

When Ace had finally stepped down onto the ship, Luffy was quick to jump on Ace's back which had caused reactions from both the cook and the swordsman.

"OI! Guys! My brother!"

Zoro was already in disbelief when Luffy had announced to his crew that The Second Chief Commander of the Whitebeard Pirates was her brother. So seeing it for himself made it much weirder. Who would've known that such an important pirate would have been related to his captain.

"Eh? Luffy, why did you never tell us that Fire Fist Ace was your brother?" Nami asked in confusion.

"Mmmm it just never came up!"

"I'm hurt! You don't talk about me?" Ace had put the palm of his hand on his chest, pretending to be hurt.

"Sorry Ace! You never come up! You know I love you right!"

Ace was quick to blush at her comment, as he pulled down his hat over his face which caused her crewmates to be a bit confused.

He cleared his throat, "I talk to the old man all the time about you, you know."

"Ah by the old man, you mean Whitebeard?" Nami stated, quick to chip in.

"Yeah, he's a great pirate! Sorry Luffy but I'm gonna make him the pirate king."

"Eh? White who?" Luffy

The whole crew had been taken aback by Luffy's comment. This girl who dreams of becoming the King of the Pirates doesn't know the man who is the closest to the One Piece?!

"Luffy? Whitebeard is the man who rivaled Roger! He's known to be the strongest man in the world!"

"EHH?"

As the moss head and the twirly brow were bickering, Nami had pointed toward the horizon where she'd announced the dozens of navy ships that had come after them.

Nami sighed, this was going to be an eventful ship ride.

OKAY OKAY so,, I haven't updated in... like a long time, I'm not dead and I am so sorry. I had a bunch of breaks but I utilized them to watch anime or work on college essays or study for EXAMS for school but I am finally on summer vacation so hopefully I can regularly update. Thank you to everyone who has been patiently waiting for an update. I have big plans for this book hopefully, and I'm halfway done with wholecake island :) Luffy's harem will get bigger for sure.

Sorry for so much AceLu,, I'm biased cause I really do like them together and I am a huge ACE simp 333 heh but after marineford Ace will be out of the picture (at least for a while) since I plan to keep him alive and well and thats when the story will become very LawLu and ZoLu centered. I'm so bad at writing harems :((
