New story! I am so sorry about the long stretch of inactivity, and I could come up with some fake excuse but...I just got lazy, but good news is, I'm back, and here it is! Hope you enjoy!
Disclaimer: I do not own Percy Jackson and the Olympians or any of the characters I use.
"Leo!" Annabeth yelled. "Drop the couch! It's not going to fit through the-ahh!"
Percy and Annabeth were moving into their first real house, and Frank, Hazel, Calypso, and Leo were attempting to help-although it wasn't going exactly as planned.
"Oops." Leo said sheepishly, backing away from the charred remains of the couch, quickly extinguishing the flames on his hands.
Hazel gingerly sat on the couch. "It still seems...kinda usable?" she said uncertainly.
Percy walked towards them, carrying the last few boxes from the truck. He stopped in his tracks when he saw the smoldering couch. "Oh...wow." he said.
"Wait, I can help." Frank said, shifting into a large dog.
"Frank, wait!" Percy yelled, but Frank was already bounding towards the couch. He leapt onto the couch, his doggy legs churning as he tried to push the couch inside. There was a loud ripping sound, and Frank (back in human form) stood up, a piece of the couch still clenched in his teeth.
"Disgusting." he groaned. "Does anyone have any water?"
Annabeth sighed. "Looks like our couch is done for." she said, poking the couch where the armchair used to be.
Percy sighed, pushing aside the couch so Leo could drag a few more boxes inside.
"We should go check on him in case he sets something else on fire." Calypso muttered.
Annabeth nodded, then turned towards the house-just as an explosion blasted through the windows. "Oops!" Leo called from the house. Annabeth turned around slowly to reveal her singed, smoldering eyebrows.
"Leo!"
And that's it! I hope you liked it, and please review! The next chapter will be out (hopefully) sooner than this one, and I've got a few individual one-shots coming soon as well, so check those out too! See ya next time!
